I have long heard that there is a particularly "tropical" botanical garden in Daxing, Beijing-Yalu Palaeotropical Botanical Garden! I took Khao to visit last week, just in time for the Water Splashing Festival and Torch Festival, and the children were really relaxed! Dozens of small animals can be fed, birds flying all over the sky are not afraid of people, and children can't get off the huge climbing frame. A variety of rare tropical plants in the north also attract children's attention. The performances in the morning and evening are also very exciting, and you can stare at them without taking your eyes off... Mumpara Western Tropical Botanical Museum, Mupa Mipa Ancient Tree Museum, Tusi Fort National Exhibition Hall, Dinosaur Museum, Love Museum, Elf Tribe, Children's Maze, Jungle Adventures, Toast Bar... In short, there are many interesting places that will definitely allow children to have a solid day. Next, make a plate for the old parents in person!
By the way,"Yalugu" comes from Tujia and means I love you. It's really affectionate and nice to hear.
Super Hi Splashing Festival, Super Cool Torch Festival
Summer from July 10th to August 29th is the time for the 6th Water-Splashing Festival of Yalugu's "Summer Fire and Fire Carnival". Every Saturday and Sunday, the park has super high-level water-splashing activities. Children are particularly devoted to it, and adults can also Release yourself in the water. The Torch Festival performance at night was particularly shocking. Dancers from various ethnic minorities, dressed in beautiful national costumes, staged a happy drama and played with the torches very well and opened their eyes. According to my observation, there are Dai, Yi, Wa, Lisu, Hani... many ethnic groups.
See rare tropical plants
As a tropical botanical garden, Yalugu has planted more than 3000 species of rare tropical plants in the north, including tropical fruit trees, tropical beverage plants, tropical ornamental plants, tropical medicinal plants, palm plants, etc. The children were pleasantly surprised by a string of bananas, prunes, dragon fruits and oranges on the trees. It turns out that coffee, cocoa, and egg yellow fruit trees are like this. Hahaha, it's really a good place for children to learn science.
The lush jungle is surrounded by vines, exotic flowers and grasses, and the streams are clear and flowing continuously. Thatch, wooden houses, and penthouse stand each other in an interesting way. Look at running across the long suspension bridge, swaying slowly, and I am super happy!
Enthusiastic interaction with so many small animals
The "elf tribe" of the Botanical Garden has many small animals that can interact with children. We saw geese, ducks, sika deer, camels, piglets, peacocks, kangaroos... many parrots were not afraid of people and all fell on their shoulders to ask for food. Look, I was a little scared at first, but then I let go.
The elf tribe also has large climbing frames, and the children go around like a maze without fatigue. This place is really suitable for children. Through the jungle secret realm, tribal families, jungle arena, and elf square, children can fully feel the wildness and friendliness of nature and small animals.
Drink beer while drinking kebabs
Yalugu can taste ethnic minority delicacies, such as Yi roasted chicken, Dai rice, eight bowls, Yunnan rice noodles, and affordable farm-pot dishes, which are comfortable and appropriate to eat when you are full. During the Water-Splashing Festival and Torch Festival, there are also unlimited beer drinks in 88 Garden + unlimited buffet barbecue + various late night snacks to make ducks!
