From Tiananmen Square to Qianmen and then to Dazhalan, we stopped and walked all the way, which was a rough glimpse of the charm of old Beijing.

I wanted to try Four Seasons Minfu's Roast Duck in Dazhalan, but after asking for a number, there were more than 100 people. I was quite surprised. There were also long queues at the entrance of other well-known restaurants. So I had to find a random store and everyone ate a bowl of beef noodles.

I have a reservation to visit the Forbidden City today.

I don't know if it's the weather or the epidemic, but there are not as many tourists in the Forbidden City as they imagined.

When we arrived at Qianqingmen Square, it began to rain lightly.

Lunch was eaten in the Cold Palace of the Forbidden City.

I ate the Forbidden City Wenbo ice cream that I was longing for.

After coming out of Shenwu Gate, I walked a long way before getting into the car. I'm going to Niujie to eat hot pot in the evening. But when I arrived at Niujie, I realized that this place was crowded. There was no hot pot available, so I had to eat some Beijing specialty snacks at Hongji Snack Bar.

I went to Temple of Heaven Park in the morning.

I took a taxi from Tiantan Park to the nearest Jubao Yuan to eat hot-boiled mutton. The taste is really good.

In the afternoon, we visited Beihai Park in the light rain.

Today's arrangement is the China Science and Technology Museum. Tickets and tickets for Dome Screen Cinema, Giant Screen Theater, and Touching Theater were all booked online the day before coming to Beijing.

After playing in the Science and Technology Museum for a whole day, I took the children to go around Nanluogu Lane and Shichahai in the evening.

I had snacks from Huguo Temple in Drum Tower for dinner. I tried Beijing's soy milk for the first time. After eating and drinking, I finally knew what it tasted like, haha!

October 5

On the last day in Beijing, the high-speed train runs at around 3 p.m., and then we go to the Summer Palace in the morning. It was also my first time to go to the Summer Palace.

The rain was still falling and the temperature was getting lower and lower, but I only brought short sleeves and skin clothes.

The children didn't wear much, and eventually their shoes and socks were soaked through. They really felt a little shivering when they came out of the Summer Palace.

I took the subway back to the hotel, picked up my luggage and rushed to the high-speed rail station. The time was just right. Just as the high-speed rail was launched, the weather cleared up in Beijing. This was the first time in several days that the sun was seen emerging from the sky. Goodbye to Beijing and come back another day.
