In May 2013 and April 2014, the reporter went to the Yanshan World Cup Stadium in Seoul, South Korea with the Beijing Guoan Football Team fan cheering group to cheer for the AFC Champions League match between Guoan and Seoul FC, South Korea. Each game viewing is a six-day exciting tour of cheering and traveling.

I remember that the first time I set off from Beijing to watch the game was May 19, 2013. At 16:00 p.m. that day, the reporter and 100 fans from all over Beijing who had the honor to be selected into the "National Security Cheer Group" gathered at the Beijing Workers 'Stadium. Before leaving, all the fans left their first group photo before the trip in front of the banner of the event's theme,"Fight for Dreams and Victory", and then took four buses and sang all the way to Tianjin Airport.

At noon on May 20, after the Guoan fan group arrived at Incheon Airport in South Korea from Tianjin Binhai International Airport, the then general manager of Beijing Guoan Football Club Gao Gao personally went to the airport to welcome the fans and took a group photo with the fans of the Guoan fan group. He was warmly welcomed by the fans. Everyone expressed that they would go all out to support the away game between Beijing Guoan football team and Seoul FC. Ensure that you can watch the game in a civilized manner! Cheer for the Beijing Guoan team! Cheers for the hard work of both players!"

The Guoan fan cheering team traveled from the airport to the Olympic Park Hotel in Seoul where they stayed. This hotel is a legacy of the 24th Seoul Olympic Games. This building is the work of Kim Sok Chol, the architect of the Hall of Design Arts. The overall building is covered by two circles connected to one plane, vividly hosting the Olympic year in 1988.

That afternoon, fans began a sightseeing tour in Seoul. Li Bin, the team leader of the reporter's team, treats people with humility and gentleness, and works meticulously. He works closely with Mr. Kim, a local tour guide in Seoul, who soon mingle with fans, to serve the team. Under the guidance of Mr. Kim, I first visited Seoul's famous Gwanghwamun Square.

Seoul's Gwanghwamun Plaza

Gwanghwamun, a 600-year-old central neighborhood in Seoul, is backed by the beautiful and majestic Beihan Mountain and the ancient building complex Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is a historical and cultural experience center built to restore the ancient appearance of Sejong Road-Liucao Street. Liucao Street was a street founded during the construction of the capital of Hanyang during the Taizu era of Korea (1392 - 1398). It is an important relic for understanding the road construction methods of the Korean era.

Walking along the winding slope of Haizhi Square, you can see the bronze statue of General Lee Shunchen, the fourth emperor of the Joseon Dynasty, on Gwanghwamun Square. It is surrounded by various fountains such as grounds and mirrors. Looking at the square from the bronze statue, on both sides are waterways flowing along Liucao Street in the Korean era. The waterway is engraved with the main contents of South Korean history from the founding of Korea in 1392 to 2008. The water meets with the fountain and flows to the Cheonggyechuan.

Qingxi River is a landscape that combines nature and humanity. It is a river running through the north and south of Seoul. However, the Qingxi River used to be a river whose riverbed was covered with sludge and garbage, dirty wooden sheds erected randomly along the river and sewage discharged. After several years of renovation, Qingxi River was finally restored to its current beautiful and pleasant appearance.

Reporter Qingxichuan took a photo (Photo: Zhu Yang)

Today's Qingxi River has clear and beautiful waters. Both sides of the river bank not only create comfortable leisure places for people, but also display some excellent pictures and paintings on both sides of the river, truly providing people with a place to experience culture and get close to nature and an ideal place to observe and learn about ecology. Walking along the banks of Qingxi River, you can see parents with their children wandering around. Young couples dipping their feet in the stream and sitting on the bank chatting, relaxed and at ease. Above the river are dotted with bridges of various shapes and rows of skyscrapers on both sides of the river.

The fans wandered here, while the cameras in their hands kept pressing the shutter, they still did not forget to hold high the green banner reading "National Security Always Strives to Be First" that they carried with them, and left behind in various happy shapes. Unforgettable moments.

After finishing their tours of Gwanghwamun and Cheonggyecheon, the fan group continued to take the bus to visit the nearby Cheongwadae and Gyeongbokgung Palace. After the car stopped, everyone got out of the car and walked on an extremely quiet street. Because the Blue Wa Dae is the official residence of the South Korean president, the roof of the official residence is covered with blue tiles, it is called the Blue Wa Dae. The road between his official residence and Gyeongbok Palace is called Qingwatai Road.

Because this is a special area, it feels a little different from the street atmosphere you see in other places. The streets are extremely quiet and there are few vehicles. Since it is the presidential residence, the security is very tight. Guards dressed in suits or police uniforms were seen standing on the road, and the atmosphere was very strict. There are no shops here and there are few pedestrians passing by, so it looks very quiet.

Arriving at the square at the intersection of Xiaozi Road and Qingwatai Road, there is a phoenix stone statue symbolizing the head of state. There are also several groups of character sculptures on all sides of the round lawn. The reporter saw the shape of a family of three and the lifelike characters, which reflected the harmony and happiness of the family. Continue to walk through the square and you will arrive at the Blue House. Qingwadai is opposite Shenwu Gate at the back door of Gyeongbok Palace. Cheongwadae was originally the Li Palace of the Koryo Dynasty. After the Korean Dynasty established Seoul (Seoul) as the capital in 1426, it was used as the back garden of Gyeongbok Palace. Some buildings such as Longwu Hall, Qingnong House and Martial Arts Hall were built, and a piece of land was opened for the king.

There are a total of about 150,000 green tiles on the roof of Qingwadai. After more than 100 years of wind and rain, they have not faded. The main building is a small two-story building, which houses the president's office, the president's wife's office, the Ren royal family for interviews, and the Baiyue room for about ten people to eat. The annex building on the left is the Sejong room for meetings and interviews, and the annex building on the right is the general affairs room. Because it was not a public open day, the fans did not enter the Blue House to visit. Instead, they entered the Gyeongbok Palace from Shenwu Gate. They visited the Korean Folk Museum in the Gyeongbok Palace and the Gyeongbok Palace, an ancient building complex similar to the Forbidden City in Beijing.

Gyeongbokgung Palace was one of the five major palaces in Seoul, South Korea during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). It was also the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty. It is located at the foot of Beiyue Mountain and is the core of the city plan of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The name of Gyeongbok Palace was named by Zheng Daochuan, the founding hero of the Joseon Dynasty, based on the word "Jingfu" in the Chinese poetry collection "The Book of Songs":"A gentleman is ten thousand years old, and he has Jingfu". It is the palace of the new dynasty built by Taizu Li Chenggui, the ancestor of the Joseon Dynasty, when he relocated the original capital of Koryo in 1395. It has a history of 500 years.

Gyeongbokgung, also known as the "Beique", was one of the largest and oldest palaces in Seoul and the political center of the late feudal society of South Korea. Fans visited the Gyeongbok Palace and gained a certain degree of understanding of South Korea's development history from one aspect through the in-depth and simple introduction by the tour guide Mr. Kim, which benefited a lot.

Scenery of Imjin Pavilion (Photo: Feng Ganyong)

On the morning of May 21, fans continued their sightseeing trip in Seoul and first drove to visit Imjingko near the 38th Parallel in the Demilitarized Zone. Imjingak is a security tourist attraction built in 1972 to pray for the reunification of the Korean Peninsula. It is located 7 kilometers from the southern end of the Military Demarcation Line and about 54Km northwest of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. It is the northernmost point that ordinary people can enter and exit. Imjin Pavilion is divided into 1 underground floor and 3 above-ground floors. It consists of a memorial hall, unification park and various monuments. I also saw a promotional sign here for traveling to Panmunjom.

Around the Imjin Pavilion, there are altars-Wangfu Altar, which overlook hometown and express longing for our ancestors, as well as an exhibition hall displaying more than 400 pieces of various materials and pickets related to all North Korean military, political, social and other situations. There are also Peace Bell, Pis Garden, Battle Monument in the Imjin River Area, Monument in the U.S. War, and tanks and aircraft used during the Korean War.

In addition, there are the Freedom Bridge, the "Railway Dream Run (the railway interruption point on the Jingyi Line)", the mourning tower for the diplomatic envoys of Myanmar's Aung San martyred country, etc. It is a safe tourist destination that remembers the pain of war and division and is filled with a strong desire for unity.

The Wangshi Altar opposite the Imjin Pavilion is a place where people who have left their homes face their hometown to worship every year during the Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. Behind the Altar of Prayer is the Freedom Bridge, where North Korea repatriated South Korean prisoners after the north and south signed an armistice agreement in 1953.

In Imjingaku, you can also see South Korean soldiers in twos and threes and colorful ribbons hanging on barbed wire, reflecting the relationship between the place and the war from one aspect.

Standing on the high platform of Imjingaku, fans can clearly observe North Korea across them through high-powered binoculars. At this time, the reporter stood here and let go of his thoughts, feeling more and more how important it is to cherish and maintain the hard-won peace in the war that has been far away from the smoke of smoke...

Kimchi School Classroom (Photo: Feng Ganyong)

The fans 'experience in this trip to Seoul was really colorful. After visiting Imjingak, they came to Seoul Goyang Kimchi School to experience the fun of making kimchi and wearing Korean costumes. It was a lot of fun to have a more direct and in-depth understanding of South Korea's food and ethnic culture.

At Gaoyang Kimchi School, I read relevant introductions on the nutritional value of kimchi, and witnessed the many types and practices of kimchi that were dazzling! It turns out that simple kimchi is actually a symbol of culture. It's amazing! Next, the fans sincerely became students. Under the in-depth and simple guidance of the school teacher, each fan carefully and independently completed his own kimchi "debut". Not only that, the fans were very excited when they learned that the kimchi made by them would be collected and donated to the local welfare home through the school. They were happy to enjoy the fun of participating in public welfare activities while working in a foreign country. Happy!

After ending the experience of Gaoyang Kimchi School and taking a break from his busy schedule, Mr. Jin led everyone to visit the Samsung Electronics Experience Exhibition Hall. Here, fans felt the charm of modern electronic products. After that, the most exciting moment finally arrived. All the team members will go to the Upper Rock Stadium in Seoul, where the World Cup football match was once held, to watch the highlight of the night-the game between Guoan and Seoul FC.

Walking into Yanshan Stadium (Photo: Feng Ganyong)

Seoul World Cup Stadium is located in Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea. It is a football stadium dedicated to football matches. The stadium was built for the 2002 World Cup football tournament and was completed and opened in December 2001. Its unique architectural style is very famous. In 2003, the British Construction Industry Training Committee rated the Seoul World Cup Stadium as one of the top ten "exciting stadiums" in the world through the world football professional magazine "World Football". It was also introduced as "many football stadiums have surpassed themselves and become an architecturally shocking object."

Looking down from the air, the Seoul World Cup Stadium has the shape of a traditional kite and sailboat. The overall shape is symbolized by flying kites towards victory. It combines South Korea's traditional culture with the World Cup competition and reflects the beauty of the stadium. It can accommodate 67,000 people and is one of the largest dedicated football sports venues in Asia.

The reporter took a photo on the venue (Photo: Zhu Yang)

At the same time, it was also the venue for the opening ceremony of the 2002 World Cup and the first match between France and the Senegal national football team. It was also the venue for the semi-finals between South Korea and Germany. After the 2002 World Cup, Seoul World Cup Stadium continued to be used as a venue for South Korea's national football team to compete. Since 2004, Seoul World Cup Stadium has also served as the home of FC Seoul Football Club.

After arriving at the stadium, although there was still some time before the start time, the fans could no longer contain the joy and excitement in their hearts. Everyone was holding various cheering banners and scarves and taking a group photo with Yanshan Stadium as the background. Some fans also printed the national flag or national security logo on their faces. At this time, if you are among them, you can deeply feel the enthusiasm and exciting shock of the fans! They come for football, they come for national security! They come for their dreams! They came for victory!

It is finally time to enter the field. This is not the first time for reporters to cheer for the Guoan team away. As early as October 8, 1995, in the last century, the reporter took a ship with Guoan fans from Tanggu, Tianjin to Dalian to watch Guoan's away game against Dalian. The game finally drew a 0 - 0 draw. Although we can't know the outcome of this game at this time, the feeling of coming to a foreign country to cheer for Guoan is definitely different from the past! That exciting and exciting scene makes you unable to maintain your restraint, but involuntarily be led in and become one of them!

Guoan team members enter the venue (Photo: Feng Ganyong)

The Guoan players entered the field, and the fans of the Guoan Fan Group frantically raised their hands high to cheer for the Guoan team! The team members came to one side of the fan club stand and bowed collectively to express their gratitude to the fans who had come from afar! In exchange for another deafening cheer. The names of Xu Yunlong, Yang Zhi, Ma Jiqi and other National Security players were repeatedly shouted in unison by the fans.

Although there are too many fans to name, the reporter still wanted to understand some of their feelings as Guoan fans. Therefore, through brief interviews with Zhao Wancai, an older fan who works as a taxi driver, and Zhu Yang, a young fan who works in a foreign company, they learned that watching Guoan football matches has become an indispensable hobby in their lives.

A jubilant and enthusiastic scene (Photo: Feng Ganyong)

Many of the game-watching experiences they talked about made the reporters awe-inspiring, and they couldn't help but be sincerely deeply moved by their persistent belief in loving the Guoan team. Although the Guoan team finally lost in the game that night, reporters rarely heard fans abuse the players at the scene. On the contrary, when faced with the Guoan team members who came to thank them after the game and performed relatively depressed, they were still full of enthusiastic cheers and encouragement. This may be the style and accomplishment of the Guoan tourism fan cheering group.

Amusement World (Photo: Feng Ganyong)

On May 22, after ending the most important activity of the trip to cheer for the Guoan game, the fans continued their two-day sightseeing trip to Seoul. I visited the Amusement World, visited Seoul Tower and Xianyou Island Ecological Park. I also went to Seoul's famous Myeongdong Commercial Street and the first Wah Villa in Asia that integrates food, leisure, entertainment and shopping, and enjoyed the fun of food, entertainment and shopping.

After successfully completing the entire trip, the Guoan tourism fan cheering group embarked on the return journey on the afternoon of May 24. Although the six days were short, the reporter saw that the fans had become almost a family with each other. Everyone gets along well with each other and enjoys it. Maybe this is the truth that "fans in the world are one family"? When we broke up, the reporter saw that many fans were meeting each other. If there is a chance, they will come back next year to cheer for the Guoan team! The reporter thought that although the victory or defeat of a football team's game is important, it is the most important thing to have such lovely fans who are willing to contribute without asking for rewards! Because they are also a rare asset...(Photo: Feng Ganyong)
