More than an hour away from Beijing by car, there is a Miyun Reservoir.

This reservoir is the largest artificial lake in Asia and the largest and only drinking water source supply in the capital Beijing. It is located 13 kilometers north of Miyun County, among the Yanshan Mountains and hills.

I stayed in Riguang Valley in Miyun District that night, and it was already late when I arrived at my place. Early the next morning, my friend said,"Let's go hiking and see Miyun Reservoir."

That section of the mountain road is extremely beautiful, and I hope I won't end it. Although it was cloudy and the red leaves were full of trees, they still felt extremely gorgeous.

Halfway up the mountain, I finally saw Miyun Reservoir, and I preferred the other side of the reservoir, the spreading mountains, and the colors of the mountains in late autumn.

The singing of birds made the mountains quieter. Looking at the leaves of this tree, I finally felt nostalgic.

Maybe the leaves will fall when the north wind blows. Leave empty tree trunks and wait for the next spring before the green will spread.

This is a fun hiking trail in Nikko Valley. It takes about an hour and a half by the hotel's senior guide. It's really worth climbing.
