From the Sculpture Park to the end of the New Shougang Bridge, you will pass through many parks and emerging literary and artistic blocks along the way. Finally, you will check in at various attractions in the Shougang Courtyard.

1. Beijing International Sculpture Park

Beijing International Sculpture Park is divided into east and west districts. Admission is 10 yuan and bicycles are not allowed. As the starting point, I chose the north gate of the east district of the park.

The park is lush with flowers and plants and many sculpture art. Moreover, there are many Beijingers playing shuttlecock and dancing in it for leisure, and children practice roller skating. The atmosphere of fireworks is quite strong.

2. → Langyuan Park

Go west along Shijingshan Road, about 1.5 kilometers, and you will find Langyuan Park. This park is definitely worth visiting. It takes a quiet place in the hustle and bustle, with a strong literary atmosphere, and a bit like a miniature version of 798. Bicycles cannot enter without tickets.

Have a cup of coffee, read a book, make a craft, and a place to slow down time.

3. → Shijingshan Amusement Park

Back at Shijingshan Road and continue to ride west. About 3.5 kilometers, you will reach Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park, Beijing's old amusement park.

Tickets are 10 yuan, and the tour items are charged separately. There are also set tickets. Official Mini programs book online 2 hours in advance, 108 yuan includes 6 items, and a 20% discount ticket for catering.

4. → Xin 'an City Memory Park

Return to Shijingshan Road and continue to ride west. About 3.5 kilometers, you will find Xin 'an City Memory Park.

There is no ticket, you can enter directly by bicycle. The trees are shaded and very comfortable.

There are five "Beixin 'an Memory Buildings" in the park that have been relocated here as a whole. They are the former Shijingshan District Government, the former Xinhua Bookstore, the former Zhongxin Pharmacy, the former Workers' Club and the former Supply and Marketing Cooperative.

I feel like I dream of going back to the 1980s and riding in these authentic old buildings has a unique flavor.

5. → South Gate of Shougang Park

Back to Shijingshan Road and continue to ride west for 2 kilometers, you will reach the Shougang Park area. During the second half of the journey, you will check in in the park. I only realized after riding it once that Shougang Park was so big and there were not too many places to visit.

Near the entrance is the South (East) Gate, with green tiles and red walls, with the words Shougang Corporation and Shougang Group written.

6. → Qunminghu Street →7. Service Trade Exhibition Area →8. Coking Factory West Street

Turn right from Shijingshan Road and enter Qunminghu Street.

Turn further right and you will find the Service Trade Exhibition Area and Coking Factory West Street.

This area will pass by many old equipment from Shougang Park. It is tall and mechanically sensitive, making it very suitable for taking photos.

When you are tired from riding, there are also many green lawns near the service trade exhibition area where you can sit and rest.

9. → No. 1 Blast Furnace-10 and No. 3 Blast Furnace (National Reading Bookstore, Winter Olympics Franchise Store Beijing Gift Shop)

Of course, when you come to Shougang, you must come to see the steelmaking blast furnace. In particular, the No. 3 blast furnace is a star attraction in Shougang Park. It was put into operation in 1959 and has a very long production cycle. It is one of the longest running blast furnaces in China.

The blast furnace has also been modernized and renovated. You can see all the National Reading Bookstore, Winter Olympics Franchise Store, and Beijing Gift Shop while riding around the blast furnace.

11. → Yaocang Digital Art Museum

Continuing to ride down, you will find the warehouse of the Shougang Park Heavyweight Art Museum.

You can stroll around most areas on the first floor or read a book.

There is a charge to go upstairs and display some digital art.

12. → Starbucks

Keep riding and you will be at Starbucks, where you can sit down and have a cup of coffee.

The facade and interior of Shougang Park Starbucks are still very distinctive, closely integrated with Shougang's industrial style.

13. → Winter Olympics Organizing Committee →4. Xiang Beer Shop

Keep moving forward and you will pass the gate of the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee.

Opposite the gate is Xiangshi Beer Shop.

This place is suitable for visiting at night, especially with the atmosphere of a European bar watching ball.

The dishes served are also similar to European bars.

There are two main products, one is the beer tasting set, dark beer, fruit beer, white beer, and yellow beer. The four flavors are satisfied at one time and it is refreshing.🍺

15. → Xiuchi Shijingshan

You can see Xiuchi and Shijingshan Mountain from the terrace of Xiangpifang.

Coming out of Xiangpifang, you can walk and ride along the plank road beside the show pool, which is also very pleasant.

16. → Cha Ganger

Continue to ride around the lake, about 600 meters away, and you will see a small house with the words "Tea Gang 'er, a tea drink light food shop.

During the industrial production period here, the liquid flow meters used in various production systems were calibrated, and now the renovated buildings are used to sell specialty Shougang soda and so on.

17. → National Winter Sports Training Center ("Four Ice Blocks")

Continue riding around the lake and see the red building. It is the National Winter Training Center. There is a short track speed skating hall, a figure skating hall, an ice hockey hall, and a curling hall, commonly known as the Four Ice Pieces.

18. → May Day Theater Monument on the Eighty Years of Shougang Building

If you ride further down, you will see a large square, which is the May Day Theater.

Opposite the May Day Theater, you can see the inscription of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Shougang's factory.

19. → Liugonghui Sedimentation Pool Square

Continuing down, you will find Shopping Mall and Liugonghui in Shougang Park. Before I came, I didn't expect that Shougang Park would be so complete with a complete ecology, with no shortage of food, drink and entertainment, and even shopping malls.

20. → Qunminghu Street-21. High Line Park (the best photo spot on the north side of the ski jump)

Returning to Qunminghu Street from Liugonghui, I saw a row of pipeline buildings in the sky, which was the High Line Park.

Walking up this sky corridor, you can overlook the ski jump, and the view is very good.

22. → Shangri-La, Shougang Park, Beijing

After riding, you can see the best hotel in Shougang Park, Shangri-La in Shougang Park. This hotel can be said to be the hottest Shangri-La in China in the past two years. The lobby is very distinctive and has a sense of industrial waste soil. The grass is taller than the people. The room was also comfortable and elegant.

You can take a break here, drink water, and have afternoon tea.

Put the ski jump directly on the table.

Shougang's characteristic wrench gears can also be eaten in your mouth.

23. → Ski Jump Tour

When Shangri-La comes out, it will be the ski jump, one of the core competition venues of the Beijing Winter Olympics. It is recommended to come here at night. It will look very good when the lights are on.

Finally, when you ride out from the south gate of Shougang Park, you can rush to our destination, the New Shougang Bridge. We can finish it in a day by riding along Chang 'an Street.
