Beijing four-day tour guide

Preparations before departure

Before leaving, I asked myself a question, why do I want to go to Beijing? There is no clear answer, and perhaps all answers should not be clear. It may be that everyone is in danger under the epidemic, it may be that they have longed for the capital for a long time, it may be that they want to give themselves a vacation, etc. Anyway, here I am.

After reading many guides online and briefly understanding some important attractions, I began to make plans, inquire about weather, and determine attractions, alternative attractions, play time, accommodation arrangements, and itinerary arrangements. After confirming these, we will start booking online and preparing travel supplies.

The famous quotes summarized by predecessors are still very instructive to life. Don't fight a battle without preparation. What is particularly important is that because of the introduction to the strategies I read before, there are also Beijing local treasures in the Weixin Official Accounts, which contains a lot of life service information, which is much more convenient.

Beijing has cancelled paper ticket purchases since last year. All attractions need to book tickets online 1-7 days in advance. If the number of people booking at the attraction exceeds the limit, other dates can only be selected. I planned to go to the Forbidden City on the 9th, because the crowd was full in those days, so I could only book a ticket for the 12th at the earliest. You only need to swipe your ID card to reach the attractions. During the epidemic, you also need to present Beijing's health treasures to successfully pass through the ticket gate.

After confirming the attractions, the visit time is from the 9th to the 12th, so I booked a round-trip ticket in advance, which is still much cheaper to book in advance. After that, I used online software to check where I stayed. Because there was an online request that people entering Beijing need to provide nucleic acid testing within 7 days, I made a special call to consult. That was a previous request and has now been cancelled.

After all, Shenzhen is more than 2,000 kilometers away from Beijing. It is still necessary to check the weather conditions in advance and prepare necessary clothing reasonably. The first day was cloudy and more than ten degrees, so I prepared an extra coat. The remaining few days were sunny, but the temperature difference between day and night was about 15 degrees.

I had considered whether to prepare sunblock products before, but I had already been recruited when I went to Xiyong, Shenzhen on May Day. In order to reduce weight, I didn't think too much about it. Boys had black spots for health. After making all the preparations, we set out, one person, one bag, and one mobile phone.

It takes less than three hours from Bao 'an, Shenzhen to Daxing, Beijing. If you leave the airport and transfer to the subway, it is an airport special line with only three stops. Daxing Airport, Daxing New City, Caoqiao. I thought that the bus code in WeChat could also be used to swipe the Beijing subway, but the result was that I just thought. After that, I downloaded a "Yi Tong" APP (public transportation is not universal yet, so I still need to download the "Beijing Public Transportation" APP).

I slept in on the first day and didn't get up until 9 o'clock. After eating a cage of Xiaolongbao with 10 dumplings and a bowl of soy milk, we set off for the first royal garden-Beihai Park. Because it is relatively close, it takes more than ten minutes to get there by bus. Use the Beijing Public Transport APP to swipe the QR code. There is also a machine at the door when you get off the bus. You need to swipe the QR code again, because Beijing public transport charges in sections, similar to the subway. But even if you forget, there is still another opportunity to manually make up the recording on the APP. There are no high-rise buildings in Beijing's First and Second Ring Road. Basically, courtyard buildings are mainly used in the First Ring Road. Cars are only allowed to pass through Beijing brands.

The so-called Beihai is a relatively large lake. Beijing does not rely on the sea. All the seas refer to lakes, such as Houhai and Shichahai. Entering the park, you can see an eye-catching Tibetan Lama White Pagoda with the naked eye. When you enter and observe, you can clearly see the cracks caused by the earthquake. It is located in the middle of an island in the North Sea. The island and the park are connected to the outside through two bridges. There are many ancient willow trees in the park, standing on the shores of Beihai Lake. The roads in the park are very wide, and the street trees on both sides are locust trees or poplar trees. There are wild cats raised freely in the garden. I don't know if it was the staff or the visitors who poured food into it, but when it was enjoying the delicious food with gusto, my approach seemed to disturb it a little. It takes about three hours to visit the scenic spots in the park and take photos.

It is about two kilometers from Beihai Park to Nanluogu Lane. You can find shared bicycles right out of the park, and you can also enjoy the street view of central Beijing City on the road. Although the road is wide, the locust trees on both sides are big enough, and the natural sunshade is still effective. Cycling to the past is a good choice.

When I arrived at Nanluogu Lane, I still had to make an appointment, but this on-site operation was okay after showing my health treasure. This alley mainly sells some Beijing-specific handicrafts, specialty snacks, etc. There are also some entrances in the middle of the alleys that lead to some residential hutongs. Normally, you can visit and visit. Nowadays, under the epidemic, only residents can enter and exit with a pass.

In the evening, I took the subway to the Olympic Deep Forest Park. As the name suggests, apart from the Olympics, there is a deep forest. Walking through the Torch Square is a large area of deep forest. There are many nearby residents walking and running here in the square, and many children taking roller skating lessons here. Unconsciously, a light blue gauze curtain was drawn in the sky, covering the sun, and shining with stars.

The weather was sunny the next day. Compared with wearing a coat yesterday, today it was obvious that a short sleeve would be enough. I took the bus to the vicinity of Temple of Heaven Park. If there are not many cars on Beijing's roads, the bus speed is very fast. Most small intersections have flyovers, where motor and non-motor vehicles go their own way. The Temple of Heaven is a large area. There are deep forests separated by roads, including pine trees, locust trees, and poplar trees. There are still green grass surrounded under some trees, which is neatly trimmed. I was lucky enough to see a small squirrel jumping around on it, and disappeared deep into the forest when a crowd approached. The Temple of Heaven was originally a place where ancient emperors sacrificed their sacrifices, and the echo wall in school textbooks is here. In order to prevent tourists from continuing to carve on the stone wall, iron railings have been used along the stone wall. It took about 4 hours to visit the Temple of Heaven, mainly because it was really big, and because it would take several times if the photos were not taken well.

After that, we went to the Summer Palace. Walking in from the ticket gate, we passed an arch bridge with mini versions of ancient Suzhou Street on both sides and shops on both sides of the river, but it was not open. Walking inside is the Wanshou Mountain Scenic Area, which is still under renovation and its opening time is to be determined, so the main attraction is lake tours. The lake here is a mini version of West Lake, but it is big enough that it takes 3 hours to walk around. On the way, I met Zhang Zijian, the lead singer of the Hedgehog Band. He carried a guitar and headed to the south gate with another person of the same shape. The wind was very strong that day, and the lake breeze would be a little cool in the evening, but this did not stop some people from rowing and swimming in the lake.

Because Tsinghua University was nearby, I wanted to stroll and have a look. Although sightseeing is now prohibited, I went to the door and took a photo. The sky at night was still exceptionally blue.

The third day is Great Wall Station. You need to go to Deshengmen West Departure Station and take a shuttle bus to the Badaling Great Wall. There are trains every half an hour, but there are no more after 12 o'clock. The journey is about an hour, because the Great Wall stops selling tickets after 13 o'clock. There are ticket sellers here who accept cash tickets, but you can get half price by swiping the code on the APP. There is a guide on the bus who mainly introduces the precautions and important attractions for visiting the Great Wall. After reaching the foot of the Great Wall, it takes about ten minutes to walk to Dengchengkou. On both sides of the Dengcheng Pass are the Southern Great Wall and the Northern Great Wall respectively. Due to the good physical strength, both sides climbed to the highest point and turned back. The way down the mountain was a path at the foot of the Great Wall, which was much faster. The kitten in the photo was also met on the trail and seemed to be much kinder than the previous one. On the way, I met a big brother in Northeast China who has also been playing in Beijing these days. I planned to go to the Ming Tombs more than 20 kilometers away together, but found that there was not enough time, so I took the car of my eldest brother in Northeast China and returned to the city together. I learned a Northeastern dialect, rushing means there is time.

After returning to the city, I went to Wangfujing from the subway station. Like pedestrian streets in other cities, there are shops and shopping malls on both sides, and a large pedestrian corridor in the middle, spanning several streets (not counting carefully). There are still relatively few people affected by the epidemic here, and some shops are not open. I learned from chatting with merchants that most shops have only been open for more than ten days. After walking along the street for a few minutes, there was a sudden gust of wind, as if accompanied by raindrops, but indeed gravel. I thought it wasn't a sandstorm, and my guess was confirmed the next day. At that time, I quickly hid in a nearby shopping mall and wandered for a while. It was much better when I came out again, but there was still dust flying. It is estimated that it is due to years of afforestation that have protected the environment, and there is no terror described in previous TV or articles. At that time, I saw a noodle restaurant nearby, so I went in and ordered a bowl of old Beijing noodles and soy beef. The taste was different. Anyway, I ate it all because I was hungry. On the way back, I found that the middle of one end of the road was sealed. When I walked in, I found that there was a subway under construction inside. In this way, the dust will never pollute the environment.

Tomorrow is the last stop at the Forbidden City on the 12th. I will go to see the national flag raising in the morning. Check online and raise the national flag at 5 o'clock. Decisively set the alarm at 4 o'clock.

On the last day, I got up on time, washed up, and set off on a shared bicycle. It was about four kilometers away and I was in place around 4:40.

Not surprisingly, there were not many people. There were just less than two circles outside the cordon. There are estimated to be more than a hundred flag guards. They walked out of Tiananmen Square in unison, started to kick forward when they reached Chang 'an Street, and returned to walking in unison when they approached the flag-raising platform. Very handsome. The children all sang the national anthem along.

After watching the national flag raising, I went back to enjoy a retreat to reserve energy for the next trip.

When you arrive at the Forbidden City, you will enter the Meridian Gate from the side of Donghua Gate to check your ticket. After passing the security check, there is a rented voice attraction guide. The location is not very accurate after personal testing, and there are also text descriptions next to many attractions. There is a free bag storage area on the left side of the Meridian Gate, which will be delivered directly to the Shenwu Gate exit for you to collect it. But no valuables. Overall, the Forbidden City is still very grand and has a strict and luxurious temperament. Yellow tiles, red high walls, white marble stone. More than 500 years of history are worth a visit.

Walking through Shenwu Gate, you will find Jingshan Park across the street. Climb to the top of the mountain and you can overlook the entire city of Beijing. When I climbed up the stairs and looked into the distance, I couldn't see clearly because of the fog.

Then back to Tiananmen Square and head to Qianmen Street, you can see the Monument to the People's Heroes in turn, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall behind it, and Zhengyang Gate just down. Arriving at Qianmen Street, I found a historical commercial street, Dazhalan, still sleeping.

At this point, my trip to Beijing was over. I caught the last subway and returned to Daxing Airport to wait for the plane and return to Shenzhen.

Traveling is to live in a foreign country and travel to your heart.
