Qianmen Dazhalan was the main south gate of Beijing's inner city during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is one of the "Nine Gates of the Capital" in old Beijing. Only the tower and arrow tower are left. It is the only city gate in Beijing that is relatively completely preserved.

Dazhalan looks quite ordinary during the day, but the night view is still very good. Especially after eight o'clock at night, the golden lights are still beautiful.




[Chen Ji Lu Qi Huo Shao Huo]
Chen Ji Luzhi Huohuo is located in Langfang Erjiao, next door to the famous fried tripe Feng.
The store was not big but full, so we had to set up tables. The stove master is located in the window next to the door. The brine is boiling in the large iron pot. The dried beans, small intestines, and pig lungs are fully stewed, just waiting for the gourmets to come and taste. The soup base is 22 yuan, and the fire is added 1 yuan. I picked the top pork and green onion buns and fresh shrimp and vegetable buns, and there was no difference in selling appearance.


Pork and green onion buns do not have the choking taste of green onions, and the filling tastes good. Unfortunately, some of the steamed bun skins are hard and dry, like quick-frozen steamed bun skins.
Fresh shrimp buns with cabbage heart have a very special taste. The cabbage heart is completely chopped and a piece of shrimp is put in it. It is a bit like shredded green vegetables. It tastes light and delicious.
In addition, it is served with mutton offal soup. The serving amount is not much for a bowl of twenty yuan. The mutton smell is somewhat fishy. The soup is covered with a layer of vermicelli, which gives a strong pepper flavor.

There are several branches in the old Beijing Zhajiang Noodles in Qianmen. The interior decoration has given a strong commercial atmosphere, but it is also relaxed and comfortable.

Its mutton kebabs are the most famous. Two masters wear the kebabs on one side. The mutton has been marinated and flavored and is covered with several seasoning powders. The dressed skewers are fried first and then baked on a baking sheet. It is mainly to save time, right?

After struggling for a long time, I finally made up my mind to try the legendary Beijing bean juice with scorched rings. Beijing bean juice has a choking smell like swill, and drinking it requires courage.

A bowl of bean juice is 3 yuan, and the scorched ring is 2 yuan, which is cheap. Bean juice is produced by fermenting the remaining residue of mung beans and is gray-green in color. The first time you drink bean juice, the smell like swill makes it difficult to swallow. It feels sour after taking a bite, but old Beijingers like this bite.

Add it to it with a small plate of pickles. The pickles and bean juice have the same flavor. Don't add anything you don't like, and it will become more and more smelly. There is a seller of cold bean juice at the door. It is said that the cold taste is stronger than the hot taste.
It has been fried in scorched rings, which is a little hard and very crisp in one bite. In Beijing, bean juice with scorched rings is like soy milk with fried dough sticks.
I drank a large bowl of hot bean juice in one gulp, which made me sick and I couldn't get used to the delicious food of old Beijing.
[Hot Tripe Feng (Qianmen Main Store)]
I had heard of the name of this house before coming to Beijing. The store is not large and a little crowded. If there are fewer people, you can just pop it with water, and if there are more people, you can choose hot pot.
The seasonings are sold individually, for 5 yuan per serving, and are made of sesame paste and fermented tofu.

Choose the traditional beef louver, cut the beef louver into shreds. The fishy smell will be heavier when served and will be much alleviated when dipped in sauce. Niu Baiye tastes crisp and chewy, and tastes quite fragrant when dipped in sesame paste (I found that Beijingers really love sesame paste). Eat tripe while it is hot. The cold beef leaves are a little hard and difficult to chew.


D3: Mutianyu Great Wall-Tiananmen Flag Lowering Ceremony;
I gave up the crowded Badaling Great Wall and decided to go to the less famous Mutianyu Great Wall in Huairou District. In fact, Mutianyu is more famous abroad than Badaling, so there are quite a few foreigners who come here to travel.


Mutianyu is more beautiful than Badaling, the greening is more beautiful, and the climbing is more difficult. However, the location is relatively remote and there are fewer vehicles that can go there.

On the day of departure, the weather was poor and a few raindrops occasionally fell, but I still chose to go. This kind of weather is very cool. After all, the hot sun will still consume a lot of physical energy. Of course, I, who love photography, can't make a big movie, which looks a little gray.
Early in the morning, I bought a bus ticket at Qianmen Beijing Tourist Passenger Transport Center. A ticket for 100 yuan, including the big ticket, was quite a bargain. Due to the remoteness of the attractions, it takes about two hours each way, so you need to prepare dry food and drinking water in advance. Once you enter the attraction, you can find 50 for hamburgers, 15 for disposable raincoats, and 15 for cola. If you are a big shot, you can have money.
There will be four buses every day, leaving immediately from 7:30 to 9:30. On the way, the tour guide will give a brief explanation of the attractions, and tourists will purchase cable car, cableway, and slide tickets as needed. Cable cars are one company, cableways and slides are another. Tickets from different companies cannot be used universally. It is 100 for one way and 120 for a round trip. In order to save energy, the tourists on the bus bought almost everything.



Staying in the attraction for 4 hours is not a long time, so you must plan well. Go up the cable car to the Great Wall's enemy building No. 14, and then walk left to reach the enemy building No. 20. Young people walk back and forth normally for about 2-3 hours. With two bottles of mineral water and a long SLR, it's really uncomfortable to move forward with heavy loads, especially when climbing the nearly 60-degree slope of the 19-20 enemy building. I once suspected that I would overturn after the meeting.
The section between enemy towers No. 19 and No. 20 is a classic. This section is relatively steep, at an angle of about 45 degrees to 60 degrees, and everyone is panting after climbing. I felt even more weak because I was afraid of heights. I climbed to the back section and used both hands and feet. I had to kneel down on the road I chose. Especially the long and narrow road behind the long steep slope of nearly 60 degrees that only allows two people to pass through is quite exciting. It's not like having strength while you are young, everything just depends on support.

After arriving at the No. 20 enemy building, there is a wall blocking the way. Some tourists will climb over it. However, the Wild Great Wall is relatively dangerous and appears dilapidated without maintenance for a long time, but it is also more original!
After coming down from the Great Wall, I was already half-disabled. The car drove to the city and parked in front of Qianmen. At 5:30 p.m., wasn't this the best time to go to Tiananmen Square to watch a flag lowering?
It was an hour earlier than sunset, dragging two lead legs to the national flag pedestal. However, there were already three circles of tourists here, and everyone was quietly waiting for the solemn moment.


Tiananmen Square is very large. The square is neat, generous and clean. The surrounding security and patrols are strictly carried out, and there are many patrol officers guarding the road.
I really can't get up in the morning. It is said that many people start waiting in line at 3 a.m. to wait for the flag to be raised. As lazy people traveling, you can consider watching the flag be lowered. Check the sunset time at night and pick a good position by standing in line 1.5 hours in advance. Flag lowering is as solemn and sacred as raising the flag. Chang 'an Street will be closed for a short time when the flag is lowered. The honor guard of the three armed forces of the Chinese People's Liberation Army walked forward from Tiananmen Gate Gate and made people feel excited and everyone held their breath! The whole flag was lowered for about 2-3 minutes. The night view came up immediately as soon as the flag was lowered. It was still very beautiful ~

If you make an appointment in advance, it is very fast and you can enter the museum in 5 minutes. Reservations are made on site at Ximen, and many tour groups also use Ximen. The queuing time is about half an hour.


The National Museum is very large and has a magnificent architecture. It includes three series of basic displays, special exhibitions, and temporary exhibitions."Ancient China","Road to Renaissance" and "New Era Part of the Road to Renaissance" are the basic displays of the National Museum. There are also special exhibitions on ancient Chinese bronzes, Buddha statues, jade articles, porcelain and other special exhibitions. I only visited two exhibition halls in one day, and there were still five or six that I didn't have time to see.
My favorite is the Ancient China Exhibition Hall on the first floor. There are many people in the exhibition hall. From Homo sapiens to the end of the Qing Dynasty, it is simply a brief history of mankind in China.



On the fourth floor is a commemorative exhibition for the donation of national leaders. This exhibition hall is eye-opening. The commemorative exhibition witnesses history and the process of establishing diplomatic relations between China and foreign countries. The souvenirs are all exquisite.
The explanations in the exhibition hall are relatively concise. If you want to study in depth, you can pay 40 yuan in a one-time payment through the Weixin Mini Programs, and you can listen to them repeatedly within a week.

Tickets for the Deyunshe Crosstalk Conference can be purchased through Damai.com, Dianping Platform or on-site. Generally, you need to buy it two or three days in advance. Tickets for Deyun Society are very popular during the summer. Dianping website requires telephone reservations after purchasing. Generally, the appointment peak is at 9 a.m., and it is not easy to enter by phone.
The front row of tickets is 150, which provides tea and seats are reserved; the back row of tickets is 120, which can only bring snacks and drinks sold in the store (drinking water such as Nongfu Spring is not allowed). Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. On the second floor are private rooms, 500/room, 3 people;600/room, 2 people.


The crosstalk actors are all quite young, and the small theater with 200 people is also a training exercise for them. The overall situation is very professional and has excellent basic skills. The original plan was to have a total of five paragraphs. Among them, two paragraphs,"Poems of the Square" and "Five Red Pictures", were well told, and the atmosphere at the scene was very good. Two more returning ones were added later, which aroused exclamations from the scene. The paragraphs were all quite interesting.

Its home specializes in Beijing-style snacks, with hundreds of varieties displayed in glass cabinets, and it continues to innovate and develop and launch new products.


Fried tofu soup, 3.5 yuan, one of my favorite soups, salty. As a child who grew up by the sea, it would be too tired if snacks and liquid food were sweets. There are quite a lot of fried tofu. 3.5 yuan a big bowl is a great deal.

Sesame sesame seed cake, 1.5 yuan, is quite different from what I imagined. There is also a sesame seed cake in the store that contains meat. This cake skin is just cut open from the middle and stuffed with minced meat. The sesame cakes taste ordinary and taste dry and hard. Children and the elderly with bad teeth should be cautious.


Pea yellow, 3 yuan. Read the reviews and say it is too sweet? Personally, I think it's okay. It's quite delicious. The taste is a bit like a stuffing, and the taste is ice and cold.
Zhajiang Noodles, 25 yuan, beautifully placed, rich in color, shredded cucumber, shredded cabbage, and? Radish? A small ball of sweet flour paste in the middle, sprinkled with soybeans. The taste is average, different from the taste of the old Beijing bean paste noodles in Qianmen before. It feels rough and doesn't taste delicious.

A few reflections
Beijing is my first time traveling alone. Going out alone requires more consideration than going out together.
Prepare all kinds of emergency medicine in advance, don't think that I won't get sick. On the fourth day after coming to Beijing, he suddenly had acute diarrhea and had diarrhea 5 times in one day, completely disrupting his schedule. Only band-aid dressings, stomach medicines and anti-allergic medicines were prepared for the regular medicine. Antidiarrheal medicines were never prepared after traveling many times. Originally, I thought that I would be in a big city and see pharmacies just walking around, but when I got sick, I found it so difficult to find a pharmacy.
