Transportation #183; Attractions·Photography Tools

Transportation: All Beijing subways and buses. No taxis. Don't tick.
Attractions: This time, the selection is completely based on personal whim. You can watch me introduce yourself and choose what you like.
Shooting tool: Huawei p30pro mobile phone. Use ordinary photo taking forms. Occasionally use professional mode. All photos have post-coloring.

Accommodation: Weiming Hotel Nanluo Guxiang Branch

Comments: There is still a long way to walk in Nanluogu Lane on Line 6, but the middle commercial street is still very lively. Only the hutongs that you go to twice in the morning are like Maoer Hutong and Yuer Hutong will have a Beijing flavor. The hotel facilities are new, and the proximity to these are also new, and they all look very refreshing. No noise and very quiet. There is a Starbucks shop in the lobby for some cold drinks. It takes only 20 minutes to walk to Shichahai. Overall it is very good, the value for money is high, and it is worth experiencing. The business card has the housekeeper's number, and the things borrowed on the phone will be delivered quickly, and the front desk waiter is also very good. Worth staying!

2019.8.21 Shougang Park·Wukesong Huaxi·Chaoyang Joy City

First stop: Shougang Park.
As the capital, Beijing has always carried the responsibilities of the national political center, cultural center, international exchanges and scientific and technological innovation center, naturally leaving behind many abandoned sites from the industrial period. Since the late 1990s, many abandoned industrial factories have been transformed into urban landmarks with the promotion of the creative and cultural industries and policy support, such as the most representative 798 Art District. This stage can be said to be the "Industrial Ruins Renovation Version 1.0".
Shougang Park is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing City. It was founded in 1919. With a history of 100 years, it has continuously written a new chapter in serving the country and strengthening the country with steel. Today's transformation from a steel giant to a cultural and creative giant represents the transformation and upgrading of Beijing's industrial relations. During the renovation process, Shougang Park experienced three turns called "the most legendary","the most poetic" and "the most elegant". Like factories large and small, silos are very important buildings in the Shougang Industrial Park. Since Shougang officially stopped production in 2011, these buildings have gradually become dilapidated. However, after the designer's creative transformation, the silos in Shougang Industrial Park have been transformed into an office area with a full sense of design. At the same time, holes of various shapes opened on the outer wall of the silos illuminate the originally dark silos. Sunshine also brings fresh air. At present, Silo No. 6 has also been selected as the office building where the first batch of employees of the Olympic Organizing Committee will be stationed, and is called the "most legendary turn."

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

I finally came to Shougang Park, which had seen countless photos on the Internet, today. At first, I thought that as the Internet said, I would tell the security guard at the door that it would be okay to go to Starbucks, but this time I had to show my ID card before letting in. I had no choice but to act coquettishly. But don't follow me, you still have to abide by the rules. The greenery and streets and buildings inside are really full of waste industrial style, very suitable for taking photos and walking.

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

Have you experienced the industrial style of the United States in minutes?

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

This is my later color adjustment, and I still think this kind of black and white blockbuster is suitable here! I just love it when it comes out in pieces.

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

There is also this place that has appeared countless times in photos of Internet celebrities, which is so great that my heart beats! It is recommended to wear tough clothes when you come here to take photos. Too small skirts and small freshness can't show the domineering feeling here!

Shougang Industrial Relics Park
Shougang Industrial Relics Park

In fact, I wanted to come here this time because of the Starbucks here. When I was preparing for the exam abroad, I gradually fell in love with Starbucks drinks because I liked to go to Starbucks to study. I felt that it tasted countless times better than countless milk tea shops in China, and I could adjust the style of drinks myself.

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

So the destination is actually here! I have written in other travel notes before that I like how Japanese Starbucks can integrate well with local culture and architecture! The reason why I want to come to Shougang's Starbucks is entirely because the Starbucks here is completely integrated with the industrial chimney style behind it. Although the main body of the building does not have much special characteristics, the simpler it is, the more prominent it is.

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

The little mermaid and the simple sign. It perfectly blends with the blue sky, green space, and brown waste iron wind in the distance. I like。

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

I strongly recommend that if you go to shoot, you must tune in black and white, and you will definitely fall in love with your film.

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

There is another big point! This is the office of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee! Come on tall!

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

I feel really proud! We can finally apply to hold the Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics together! Proud of Beijing!

Shougang Industrial Relics Park

The small dry well also illustrates Shougang's long history, from 1919 to the present. I think Beijing City should be able to learn from Japan to do some such pattern treatments for manhole covers in urban areas, which can better highlight the urban style and history and culture. I think we can learn from the practice of installing urban cultural manhole covers in major cities in Japan. Commenting on my newly purchased shoes that have sharpened my feet until I can live...

Second stop: Chaoyang Joy City
Chaoyang Joy City is located in the core of the Chaoqing Plate in the east of Beijing. Thanks to the eastward shift of the focus of urban development, many high-end residential buildings have been gathered in the area, gradually becoming a "central living area", the first choice for Beijing's newly wealthy people and high-end urban white-collar property buyers.

Chaoyang Joy City

I have been going to Xidan Joy City for a stroll before, but this time I simply switched to Chaoyang Joy City. I feel that all Joy Cities in the world are similar. I personally think Xidan is better.

Chaoyang Joy City

Sure enough, shopping in the mall has to be in China! Cheap and beautiful! Such a beautiful combination! I guess the little Japanese girl will scream for half an hour after watching this!

Third stop: Wukesong Huaxi Square. Beijing's first tea hot wheat shop.

wukesong

I want to go to Wukesong because I want to try the donkey rolling at Beijing's first Xicha Hot Wheat Store. But I didn't expect it to be so beautiful after going there! It is especially young people's vitality and sense of trend. Whether it is shopping malls, shopping, eating and entertainment, it all particularly reflects the modern sense of the city. Wukesong was and still is the basketball education center and competition center in Beijing. Therefore, there are still many sports brands concentrated, and everyone who likes sports is welcome to come here!

wukesong

As a result, I was too late and sold out. But there are many other types of bread to taste. They are not small, so you can ask a waiter to cut them open. Bring plastic gloves and eat! That's it for today. Hurry up and go home and take off your shoes. It's so painful that it won't work to find your mother!

2019.8.22 Wudaoying·Nanluogu Lane·Yandai Xie Street·Shichahai

wudaoying Hutong

Wudaoying Hutong is located in the northern part of Dongcheng Area, Beijing City, on the east side of Andingmen Overpass, running east-west. It starts from Yonghegong Street in the east, ends at Andingmen Nei Street in the west, connects with Jianchang Hutong in the south, and there are two branch lanes leading to Andingmen East Street in the north. It has a total length of 632 meters and a width of 6 meters. Wudaoying Hutong was called Wudeweiying in the Ming Dynasty, but it was misnamed in the Qing Dynasty. Although the name has been beyond recognition, it was also named after the troops stationed.
Therefore, Wudaoying Hutong has a deep relationship with the army.

wudaoying Hutong

After getting out of the subway Line 2, you can see the three-character Wudaoying!

wudaoying Hutong

After entering, the ancient writing form of the three characters "Andingmen" was full of hutong style and red vermilion doors, the large character "Fu" was the symbol of the golden door (which showed: Lao Tzu has a house or a hutong, and he refused to accept the domineering roar of coming to fight). It is also very domineering.

wudaoying Hutong

The mottled stone piers at the entrance, the bricks and tiles of the age. The ancient stone steps in front of the door. This is undoubtedly old Beijing.

wudaoying Hutong

Wudaoying is also known as an alley full of art and literature. Looking at these balokan decorations, you can understand that people here have a fresh heart of literature and art.

wudaoying Hutong

There are many such cat-themed shops in Wudaoying. Don't hesitate if you want to suck cats. Wudaoying is worth choosing.

wudaoying Hutong

The accidental little rainbow and the clearly recognizable word dirty pigtails made me feel that this is an alternative little freshness of the alley. Don't go the usual way, but be who I am.

wudaoying Hutong

Let's take a wide angle. It's a bit cloudy today, but it seems to match these bricks and tiles better!

wudaoying Hutong

Please also pay attention to these little decorations.

wudaoying Hutong

Yes, I wore vans casual shoes today. Wearing a Balinese style big flower T. Wearing elegant mopping jeans. Hutong literature and art, people also have literature and art!~

wudaoying Hutong
wudaoying Hutong

At a glance, you can see a well-known family. Everything in front of the door was organized in order, clean and neat.

wudaoying Hutong

I think the names of many small shops in Wudaoying Hutong are really interesting and I want to take pictures. Good job of differentiation. I just feel that all the things I sell are similar, but the products still need to be developed more.

wudaoying Hutong

This Band-Aid is a shop I knew about many years ago in Nanluo. Its home has a real name, interesting and trendy things. I think it suits the minds of young people today. The big doll at the door is a bit scary but also unique.

wudaoying Hutong

Such an ancient alley is indispensable for traditional culture clothing stores.

wudaoying Hutong
wudaoying Hutong

This is the one I like very much. Sky, green bamboo, ancient tiles, door face, Wudaoying. It's the feeling I want

wudaoying Hutong

This cafe is also full of Beijing flavor, mottled paint and tiles. He told me some important information. This is a serious courtyard door. It's old. Its valuation is less than 100 million. well

wudaoying Hutong

Wudao Camp is a very small person and very quiet person. What a great place to take photos

wudaoying Hutong

It is said to be a bar, and my classmates say it is very famous. Come on, next time you come here and drink a case of Yanjing Beer.

wudaoying Hutong

Cat sucking shop! What I find very warm in this small store is that when I was taking pictures, two girls were taking selfies through the glass window inside. What I saw was their love and love for life.

wudaoying Hutong

Occasionally, people's flowers peeped out slightly through the iron fence, adding a colorful flavor to the gray of the alley.

wudaoying Hutong

A shop called Devil. What little demons are there at night? Well, go and see for yourself

wudaoying Hutong
wudaoying Hutong

This brand! Sure ~ I will call Unicorn the Universe Daydream to create a bureau in the future!

wudaoying Hutong

In short, walking around means taking pictures wherever you like!

wudaoying Hutong

The slightly open door always arouses people's wireless curiosity! What's in there?

wudaoying Hutong

Good luck, everything goes well, and a happy event comes! Hahaha, three consecutive blessings! In the face of this ancient architecture and culture, red and green will always be unparalleled beauty! Who said that red and green compete nonsense? I think you don't understand that red and green are the most beautiful!

wudaoying Hutong

Without records, nothing happened. Without traces of ancient buildings and these mottled tiles, we may never be able to discover the stories and sounds that happened behind this history.

wudaoying Hutong

I just want to retain the beauty here brick by brick and preserve it forever.

wudaoying Hutong
wudaoying Hutong

I accidentally walked into the childhood canteen, and what I saw was really full of memories.

wudaoying Hutong

I went to primary school in more than 2000 years. At that time, I remembered that there were definitely a few canteens on the way out of school in major primary schools in Beijing that you couldn't miss. These canteens are more treasure than treasure for us.

wudaoying Hutong
wudaoying Hutong

At that time, every boy in the class had one, and the girls also followed suit and made various modified versions! Even now, it can be called the most awesome!

wudaoying Hutong

It is definitely inappropriate to go home without buying a few packs of various snacks!

wudaoying Hutong

I suddenly caught sight of it and thought it was suitable for tasting and feeling it!

wudaoying Hutong

Mochi peach juice should be a memory of Beijing children since childhood. In my memory, when my mother took me to Ditan Park and other major parks before I went to kindergarten, I didn't buy mutton kebabs, but I had to buy this juice. Although it was no longer the same as when I was a child, it tasted good.
The price is still acceptable for 5 yuan, but it is actually more expensive than the sky. But thank you for bringing me back to the way I was when I was a child for a while.

wudaoying Hutong

This coffee bus should be said to be a small sign of Wudaoying, just hit it! Wudaoying also has the very famous Kyeongzhao Yin restaurant.
Jingzhao Yin is a vegetable food cultural center founded in Beijing, and its construction was promoted by Mr. Yin Dawei. Jingzhao Yin specializes in signature products such as sweet and sour lotus root steak, King Kong Sha tofu, Bai-mushroom braised rice, Jiu-storey pagoda eggplant, and Matsutake soup. It not only has a very creative dinner set, but also has exquisite and delicious afternoon tea for enjoyment. In order to promote the development of healthy eating in the new era, the founder team actively promoted the vegetarian concept using the restaurant as a platform. With the widespread spread of contemporary healthy eating concepts, more and more diners tend to go to Jingzhao Yin to enjoy a unique vegetable banquet in their spare time on weekends to enjoy physical and mental relaxation. The price is not very cheap, but it can be done for those who pursue a healthy life and the best taste of delicious food. Wudaoying Hutong is at the end.

At the end of Wudaoying Hutong, you will reach Yonghegong, Beijing's most famous Tibetan Buddhist scenic spot. At that time, it was established by the Qing Dynasty emperor to satisfy lamas to go to Beijing to offer sacrifices and pray for blessings. What's interesting is that after going out, a master from Jiuhuashan came to chat up: Beautiful girl, I see your left foot is stepping on gold. I'm still stepping on the hot wheel with my right foot. Please don't easily believe the words of these so-called masters! Fighting honestly for your life is more important than anything else.

chengxian Street

After coming out of Wudaoying, you can choose to go to Yonghe Temple or walk into Chengxian Street, which is home to the famous Beijing Confucian Temple and Imperial College. So can you also understand the naming meaning of this street at this moment? Those who come out of this street are all academic students or sages! Because I went there in December last year and changed places this year, I was a little hungry at this time and decided to go to Nanluo to find something to eat. Get off at No. 13 Bus at Luogu Lane Station.

nanluoguxiang neighborhood Tuesday, breathing

The weather in the past few days has been so good that nothing can be said about. No matter how many people there are, it will still be a large area!

nanluoguxiang neighborhood Tuesday, breathing

How to put it, Nanluo has rectified many messy shops in recent years and disappeared. However, I still feel that there are still a lot of shops in old Beijing. Of course, there are also Beijing snacks, but I won't comment if they are authentic or not. Just come and have a taste for friends from other places. This text burning looks good and interesting.

yandai xiejie

After the chaos comes out of Nanluo, you bypass Gulou Street and you will find Yandai Street. From the late Qing Dynasty to the 1920s and 1930s, Yandai Xie Street was mainly engaged in smoking utensils such as dry tobacco bags and hookah bags, antiques, calligraphy and painting, stationery and flavored snacks, and service industries. Its shop has a simple architectural style and has the characteristics of Beijing's northern city. It is a well-known cultural street in the northern city of Beijing, and has left the footprints of many cultural celebrities. Nowadays, Yandai Xie Street is like well-known scenic spots such as Drum Tower and Nanluogu Lane. It is a good place for everyone in Beijing to find delicious food, see antiques, and admire calligraphy, paintings and ancient buildings in their spare time. Personally, I feel that the feeling of Yandai Xiejie is better than that of Nanluo. Some people are not so many and not so complicated.

shichahai

Bypass the sea of people and still like the Shichahai Sea full of clear water. A place for fun for the old guns. Today's blue sky, green willows on the shore, and cruise ships in the lake make life comfortable and leisurely.

shichahai

Two time-honored Beijing brands Qingyun Tower and Barbecue Season on the edge of Shichahai. Old Beijing is very willing to go. It has a traditional flavor passed down.

shichahai

The TV series that was particularly popular a while ago was the one where the whole people called Li Xian my husband! Han Shangyan and Solo got together, and this was the rooftop where the fight was happening!

Jude Huatian Barbecue Season

There are three major barbecue stores in Beijing, namely "Barbecue Wan","Barbecue Ji" and "Barbecue King". Now, only Barbecue Wan and Barbecue Season still maintain the traditional advantages of time-honored brands and have become well-known at home and abroad in Beijing's halal-style specialty restaurants. The Barbecue Season Restaurant is located on the picturesque Shicha Sea and is surrounded by Beijing's folk tourist areas, which adds more historical significance to this century-old brand. The barbecue season is located at No. 14, Qianhaidong Yan, Xicheng District. Located a step away from Beijing's famous Shichahai Scenic Area and the Yinding Bridge, the eight scenic spots of Beijing Yanjing,"Yinding Bridge Guanshan", the barbecue season is a time-honored Chinese brand with a history of more than 170 years. It was founded in the 28th year of Qingqingguang (1848 AD). The roast mutton it manages has a long-standing reputation and has the reputation of "South Wan and North Season".

shichahai

Yinding Bridge is located on the waterway between Qianhai and Houhai in Shicha Sea. It is a single-hole stone arch bridge running north-south. It spans the thin neck connecting the two seas from north to south. It is 12 meters long, 7 meters wide, 8 meters high, and has a span of 5 meters. It has 5 hollow cloud flower railings and green bottles and rolled flowers. There are 6 pillars, which are called Silver Ingot Bridge because they look like silver ingots. It is one of the scenery of Shichahai and one of the eight small scenic spots in Yanjing. In the past, standing on the Silver Ingot Bridge, you could look at the Western Hills, so the scenery was called "Silver Ingot Mountain View".

shichahai
shichahai

I want to say take wedding photos here! You made the right choice!

shichahai

The residual heat of summer has not subsided, the lotus flowers are still there, and our summer memories are still there

shichahai
shichahai

I have always traveled home by myself and still do, but this time it is different! Hahaha I went to Nanluo to buy fairy bean cakes and met a fated friend to help shoot! Thank you ~

shichahai

Looking at the beauty of Beijing, I feel beautiful, and I feel happy all over.

Lotus market

The lotus market that you came out of is a summer resort for ordinary people in Beijing. It has a casino and a commodity market, and there are many folk arts and cultural performances in it. The lotus market began in the 1920s. It is located on the west bank of Shichahai Lotus Pool. The market sells more food stalls such as lotus flowers and ice bowls. In the middle is a lotus pond. A river protection is dug outside the pond. The river is lined with boards, and a shed is set up on the boards for performances. Every year, it starts after the Dragon Boat Festival on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar and ends in August. The performance starts in the afternoon every day and ends before sunset. Viewers must buy a Erjiao Water brand, and the income from performing arts will be included in the tea money.

Before Shichahai went home, the voices of the Beijing man instantly crossed! Sure enough, your uncle will always be your uncle! This is old Beijing!

Gulou Street

The old streets and hutongs here blend and intersect, and countless landmarks tell visitors about the history and changes here.

shichahai

The sunset on the occasion of returning home, setting off the small bridge, flowing water and green willows, it couldn't be more pleasant.

Gulou Street

Finally, I attach the finale of my Da Drum Tower! Let's continue to see you in the next old Beijing!

2019.8.24 Dongjiaomin Lane·Dazhalan·Xianyukou·Qianmen Street

Today's weather is hot enough, but it still can't stop me from wanting to go out. Today, we strolled around the past as a humiliation for Beijing and now it is a place for many important positions and institutions in Beijing: Dongjiaomin Lane.

dongjiaomin Lane

Dongjiaomin Lane starts from the east side of Tiananmen Square in the west and east to Chongwenmen Nei Street. It has a total length of nearly 1.6 kilometers. During the Yuan Dynasty, it was an alley connected to Xijiaomin Lane on the west side of Tiananmen Square. It was called Jiangmi Lane. It has a total length of nearly 3 kilometers and is the longest alley in Beijing. During the Ming Dynasty, it was cut into two alleys, east and west.

dongjiaomin Lane

In the Second Opium War in 1860, the Qing government was defeated and the relevant provisions of the Treaty of Tianjin signed with Britain, France, the United States and Russia stipulated that in March 1861, the British envoy officially moved into Prince Chun's Mansion in Dongjiang Mixiang (It was called Liang Gong Mansion at that time, and was the residence of Wang Yunyou, the seventh son of Emperor Kangxi); the French envoy officially moved into Anjun Mansion (it was called Chungong Mansion at that time, and was the residence of Yue Le, the Prince of An, the grandson of Nurhachi); the American envoy moved into the private home of American citizen Dr. S.Swilliam in Dongjiangmi Lane; and the Russian envoy moved into the Russian Pavilion of the Orthodox Church built here in the early Qing Dynasty. Subsequently, legations from various countries chose the Dongjiaomin Lane area as their headquarters.

After the Boxer Rebellion in 1900, according to the provisions of the Treaty of Xin Chou, Dongjiang Mi Lane was renamed Legation Street. On the map drawn by the Chinese side, it was officially renamed Dongjiaomin Lane, becoming a embassy district managed by each embassy. The Qing government's government's government office on this street only retained the three departments of officials, households, and ceremonies and the ancestral houses, and all the rest moved out. Subsequently, foreign banks such as HSBC and McCalary Bank in the United Kingdom, Dow Seng Bank in Russia and China, Yokohama Zhengjin Bank in Japan, Deutsche Bank in Germany, and Agricole Bank in France appeared here. French post offices, hospitals and other facilities were also opened, and a large number of Western-style buildings appeared. This embassy compound has been preserved since the Revolution of 1911. It was not until the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937 that diplomats from the Axis powers except Germany and Italy were transferred to the National Government.

Show you the historical map so that you can better understand a historical distribution of Dongjiaomin Lane.
Then the following sites are currently preserved and not included protected units.
1. Prince Chun Mansion: No. 14, East Chang 'an Street. It is now the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China.
2. Former site of the British Embassy: 14 East Chang 'an Street. It is now the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China.

12. Former site of the French Barrack: No. 3, Santiao, Taiji Factory. Now it is the Beijing City Federation of Trade Unions.
13. Former site of the Belgian Embassy: No. 9 Chongwenmen West Street. Built around 1910. It is now Zijin Hotel.

The cultural relics protection units in Beijing City that have not been included in the "Dongjiaomin Lane Embassy Complex" are:
1. Former site of the U.S. Embassy: No. 23 Qianmen East Street, built in 1903, is now Qianmen Hall No. 23.
2. Former site of the Dutch Embassy: No. 11 Qianmen East Street, built in 1909, is now the Tiananmen Management Office.
3. Former site of the French Post Office: No. 19, Dongjiaomin Lane.
4. St. Miel's Church: No. 13 A, Dongjiaomin Lane.
5. Former McCalary Bank: No. 39, Dongjiaomin Lane.

dongjiaomin Lane

So when you take the first step in here, you can feel the two completely different atmospheres here and Tiananmen Square. It was extremely quiet, with few tourists and pedestrians, and the vehicles parked around were all special police vehicles on this black campus. There are also many European buildings that are different from the traditional brick houses in Beijing.

dongjiaomin Lane

This is the highest court of the country. Photos are not allowed at the door. Yes, because it is close to Tiananmen Square and the Great Hall of the People, it is also home to many major political offices in Beijing. Please also restrain your curiosity. After all, national interests and security must be safeguarded as Chinese citizens.

dongjiaomin Lane

There are two major museums in Dongjiaomin Lane. One is the Beijing Police Museum, but it is a pity that it cannot be opened during recent renovation. One is you will see behind the Beijing Court Museum! Tickets are 5 yuan.

dongjiaomin Lane

Many buildings here are really obvious Western-style buildings when you look up. Both the gate and the main body of the building are completely different from the Chinese buildings we see every day.

dongjiaomin Lane

The color of the building also feels like the brick red with a classic Western style. This is the former site of the French Bank of Agriturica Orientale

dongjiaomin Lane

Go straight ahead and you will see the Chinese Court Museum. It is also a European building full of national style. It always feels like I have returned to old Shanghai in the national era. The Court Museum is also the former site of Japan's Zhengjin Bank, a Western classical building. Inside are exhibitions on various legal construction, which you can take a look. There is an exhibition room with a historical exhibition on Dongjiaomin Lane, which is very worth seeing.

dongjiaomin Lane
dongjiaomin Lane

The exterior is really suitable for all kinds of concave shapes! Bring your poses and beautiful dresses! The most important thing is to bring your best friend or boyfriend to help you take pictures!

dongjiaomin Lane

Dongjiaomin Lane Hotel is also an old national brand.

dongjiaomin Lane

From here, you enter the protected area of the embassy complex. The first one that comes into view is the former Japanese public relations site. The only country with two embassies. The original embassy was relatively small. After the 19th anniversary of the 19th anniversary, Japan seized Wang Fu's Mansion and built a new embassy. Now Wang Fu is the seat of the Beijing City government.

dongjiaomin Lane

It is the small red building in the back. Of course not! Look outside ~

dongjiaomin Lane

It is said that this building is the former Japanese secret service agency: the Mei Office

dongjiaomin Lane

Then there is the former French Post Office. It is a more typical European building.

dongjiaomin Lane

Look at this little chandelier. It's really similar to European carriage lights.

dongjiaomin Lane

Each brick by brick seems to have a sense of passage for a moment.

dongjiaomin Lane

Then after passing the former French Post Office, the former French Embassy is in front of us, but no photos can be taken. The original Chungongfu was occupied by the French after the Second Opium War. The gate is modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and the interior building is in the style of a French country house. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Gaogang and Sihanouk once lived here. It is said that it is the residence of the Prime Minister of the country. There are small windows in many hidden doors around them. People can look out from the inside. It is scary. Don't take pictures. If you take pictures, it will be in the old Beijing saying: Wait to enter the artillery station. But I stole some daring pictures from the Internet.

dongjiaomin Lane
dongjiaomin Lane

It's basically exactly the same as what I saw on the scene. Anyway, just don't take pictures! It's a mysterious place that only you and I can understand. Don't talk about it, don't tell it, don't shoot it.

dongjiaomin Lane

Next, this row of buildings that have a bit of a drama is the Zijin Hotel. Still can't enter ~

dongjiaomin Lane

Next to Zijin Hotel, let's insert the Catholic Church in Dongjiaomin Lane, also known as St. Meyer's Church and French Church. It is located at No. 13, Dongjiaomin Lane. It is a two-story Gothic building built in 1901. Dongjiaomin Lane Catholic Church is famous for its exquisite angel statues above its main entrance. Sorry, I still can't enter ~ Anyway, it's a beautiful building complex that can be seen from far away! It's really beautiful ~

dongjiaomin Lane
dongjiaomin Lane

Zijin Hotel is affiliated to the State Council Administration Bureau (State Administration Bureau)

dongjiaomin Lane

OK, I'm a little tired from shopping. Let's walk along Zijin Hotel and find the bus stop. Route 20 will go to Qianmen Street.

Beijing Dazhalan

When I got off the bus from Dazhalan Station this time, I didn't expect to walk into a road I had never walked before. I really discovered a lot of interesting things.

Beijing Dazhalan

For example, these beautiful buildings look like they have returned to that era. There are many plaques and many facades. In fact, the thing that old Beijing paid most attention to in the past was a plaque. The plaque of a store is also one of the main charms that this store can attract customers. Wang Mazi's scissors. Old Beijing cloth shoes with inner connection.

Beijing Dazhalan

Rui Fuxiang's silk brocade,

Beijing Dazhalan

Traditional Chinese medicine from Tongren Tang.

Beijing Dazhalan

The old shops all over the street demonstrate the prosperity of Dazhalan, an old street in that era.

Beijing Dazhalan

After staying in Japan for a long time, especially after moving to Osaka, I went to Kyoto when I had time. At that time, I felt that Kyoto's preservation of ancient culture and architecture was beyond words. I have always felt that when our great old Beijing will pay attention to it and restore those old cultures and buildings, and let people around the world see the long history and charm of our old Beijing. This time, I feel that the government is indeed working hard to rectify and build. I saw that many cultures were being restored and reshaped. I'm really relieved. For example, the most famous clanging car in Dazhalan.

Beijing Dazhalan

In 2000, I liked to go shopping on Wangfujing Street with my parents. Every time I finished shopping at Wangfujing Department Store, I would go to Wangfujing Snack Street for a bowl of steamed tripe and braised fire. I don't want to go home if I don't eat. Occasionally, I come to see a piece of Western films. In the past, Western films were to make a big car on the street with several small holes. Everyone watched together. In the past, it was mainly Sun Wukong who caused trouble in the sky, Nezha making trouble in the sea. Some classic scenes. Later, the snack street was gradually occupied by foreign merchants, and the layang tablets also disappeared. These traditional cultures really should not disappear. This is a memory that belongs to old Beijing.

Anyone who is interested can walk in and have a look. They are all old brands from old Beijing

Beijing Dazhalan

The real old Beijing cloth shoes are the best ones who have been promoted internally

Beijing Dazhalan

I don't know how to read Dazhalan, but in old Beijing, you must read it: da shi la.

Xianyukou Time-honored Food Street

Opposite Dazhalan is Xianyukou Food Street. There are many shops inside that sell some snacks from old Beijing. The only thing I can recommend to everyone is the barbecue season shop and Jinfang snacks inside. As a child living in Beijing, I really don't recommend other stores.

Xianyukou Time-honored Food Street

I don't know what Internet celebrity this is this year, but the entire Coca-Cola mug can hold anything. Basic foreign tourists have one for each person... Difficult to understand.

Qianmen Street

The jingdang cars on Qianmen Street were restored a few years ago, allowing people to re-experience this past memory.

Qianmen Street

Thanks to Brother Manhole for his warm reminder! century-Old Street

Qianmen Street

One Red Star Erguotou and one Yanjing Beer. Please come to Beijing to have a sip of whatever you say before going back!

Xianyukou Time-honored Food Street

The feeling of seeing it by chance: It's beautiful!

Xianyukou Time-honored Food Street

The mutton kebabs at Barbecue Ji's house are still worth a try

Xianyukou Time-honored Food Street

No roast duck here! Why! You can walk a few steps further and you will find Quanjude's main store in Beijing!

Qianmen Street

Wu Yutai's ice cream and tea drinks are highly recommended! They all taste good! The taste of tea is also fresh when drinking! You can sit on the second floor!

Qianmen Street

Quanjude Origin Store welcomes you! Also, I would like to remind everyone who comes to Beijing and wants to buy specialties. Don't buy vacuum packaging of Quanjude Roast Duck! It won't taste like that when you take it home! Not worth spending the money! Might as well buy some snacks from Daoxiang Village back!

Qianmen Street

You must talk about the elbow of Tianfu! This pork elbow was particularly loved by the Empress Dowager Cixi. She especially liked hard dishes such as fried pork elbow with pork skin sauce. It must be fried until golden and crispy, and the aroma of sauce overflows.

Qianmen Street

The archway at Zhengyang Gate is in a classic Chinese style.

Qianmen Street

The Starbucks in Qianmen is also a good combination of local cultural buildings, but I think its plaque is too obtrusive and should be replaced with Chinese calligraphy.

Qianmen Street

In the end, today's itinerary will end with our Zhengyang Gate, which seems to be undergoing major repairs recently. It is estimated that it will also celebrate the 70th anniversary this year! I'm really looking forward to this year's National Day celebration! Proud of the motherland!

2019.8.27 Model Bookstore·Related Beijing Past Sites

Today let's take a look at some of Beijing's hidden little surprises. The place I chose this time is Model Bookstore. Get off on Metro Line 2 at Changchun Street. I remember it's Exit B. Navigation after getting up, because we are going to get into the alley!

The first alley to enter is Dongzhiyi Hutong. Many hutongs in Beijing used to have unpleasant names and were all very different. Nowadays, the names of hutongs are all improved names.

This alley is really full of twists and turns, and many old buildings and doormen also retain a little of the atmosphere of the past

Although the door was replaced with iron. Although the lanterns in the past were replaced with electric lights, and the pits in the past were replaced with concrete floors. What remains unchanged is the historical memories reflected in the details

The interesting thing about this alley is that the murals paint many traditional stories. It was very interesting to watch it all the way. I didn't finish taking all the photos, so I'll go and taste it slowly when I have the opportunity.

And every story is written with an allusions.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

When you see a small courtyard with a very ancient atmosphere, you will find the Model Bookstore. In 2019,"Model Bookstore + Poetry Space" began trial operation at the original site of the Christian Chinese Anglican Church at No. 85 Tonglinge Road, Xicheng District, Beijing. The Chinese Anglican Church was founded in 1907. It is the earliest and largest central church built by the Christian Chinese Anglican Church in North China. It is now a national key cultural relic protection unit. "Model Bookstore + Poetry Space" is the fourth store of Model Bookstore. The interior is beautifully decorated, with towering domes, high bookshelves, beautiful colored glass windows, retro wooden floors, and some original stone carvings. Recommended books, the original location of the church baptism pool, were designed to become a reading stage. Walking deeper into the church, it is an area for drinking tea and coffee breaks.
The entire building is completely a chapel, although the outside is made of stone and looks gray. But the moment you walk in, it's a completely different scene.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

The inside is covered with wooden roofs and retro headlights. The windows are also made of European window tiles. Very distinctive.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

It is a very good choice whether you are here for concave styling or want to come to Anjing to read a book.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

For example, although I am average in length and figure, I can still feel 180 degrees here.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

Glass windows are particularly characteristic. Everyone can observe your feelings carefully ~

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

There are unexpected surprises in every corner of the study. There are paintings, there are places to rest.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

Occasionally, amateur retro toys add a strong ancient atmosphere to the study.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

There is also this kind of small workshop for making watches.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

The dome of the study room is also one of the scenery you can't miss!

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

You can really feel the perfect combination of modern and ancient times inside the study. It's really suitable for making a study room! There are all kinds of books. There were previous reviews that they were all art books, but in fact they are all types, and the prices are the same as the online prices. I checked. It's not ridiculously expensive. There are also books like the Little Prince.

A type of book I like very much, and I really want to understand what old Beijing really was like in the past. I also like this kind of historical books. Only through the writings of literati can we understand what that era was like

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

I found that a book about old Beijing contained so many literati comments on old Peiping. Whether it is Beijing or Peiping, this place is free, generous, and inclusive. At least in my heart, Beijing is the place where I grew up. There are things I love to eat, transportation I am familiar with, parks full of memories, and friends I cannot give up in this life. I have wanted to escape here countless times, but I felt it was too boring. I don't want to be confined here forever. I want to go outside and have a look. But when I went to other places in college, all I thought about was Beijing day and night, and I was extremely reluctant to leave after every holiday. Later, when I went abroad, I found it even more difficult to come back once. It turns out that the place I wanted to escape countless times is also the place I miss day and night.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

What is even more interesting is that many books write about the Republic of China. The Republic of China has existed for a short time in Chinese history, but it is an era that must not be ignored in Chinese history. This era has the most fashionable times in China, the most turbulent times in China, and the times when China is in trouble.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space
Model Bookstore Poetry Space

Many small corners reflect the richness and literary atmosphere of the bookstore.

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

Occasionally, I can still see such small poetical paintings ~ In short, it is a wonderful place with surprises everywhere. I recommend young people in literature and art to come and see them

Model Bookstore Poetry Space

The appearance is also full of history.

Keqin Prefecture Wang Fu is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is one of the existing Wang Fu of a relatively good scale in the Qing Dynasty. This government was built during the Shunzhi period. The original area is not large, and the layout is in line with the regulations of the royal palace. Keqin Wangfu has gone through the historical process of the Qing Dynasty from its peak to its decline, and carries extremely rich historical and cultural information. After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the property rights of the mansion once belonged to Fu Xiong Xiling. In the early 21st century, Keqin County Mansion was renovated and restored to its former style. The south shadow wall of the mansion road still exists, and only the east wing building exists in the front of the mansion. The inner door at the rear, back bedroom, east-west matching rooms, and back hood are all preserved intact. Most of the original buildings in the western cross-courtyard also exist.
Now it has been changed into Beijing No. 2 Experimental Primary School ~ the decoration at the entrance is exactly the same as the palace in the past. The original style is preserved very perfectly!

It was really a coincidence that in fact, no relevant survey on these cultural sites in Beijing City had been conducted before. Next time, you should do a good job in this area.

Beijing City Lu Xun Middle School

Walking forward, I found a surprise! The current Lu Xun Middle School is the former Capital Women's Normal School. I found this building from afar and felt ~ hey, something's wrong! Go to the stairs!

Beijing City Lu Xun Middle School

Jingshi Women's Normal School is the earliest national women's normal school in China. In the thirty-fourth year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1908), Huang Ruiqi, the Faculty of Education, requested to be located in Beijing. At first, the medical school was used as a school building with a simple department. It enrolled 145 students, divided into 4 classes, and graduated in 2 years to prepare for the selection of teachers in female primary schools from all over the country. Prime Minister Fu Zengxiang. In the second year of Xuantong (1910), after Fu was appointed as the academic promotion envoy of Zhili, Jiang Qian and Yu Changlin took over successively. In April of the same year, a second-class primary school for women was established (now the Second Experimental Primary School). In July, an additional class was recruited and moved into the new school building on Shifuma Street in Xuanwumen. In 1912, it was renamed Beijing Women's Normal School. The exterior of the building looks a very combination of Western and Chinese. I feel that it is a great honor and luck to study in such a school that carries a historical atmosphere!

2019.8.29 Xisi Hutong's Chuangchuan

It's clear and clear today, and I've almost rested. Are we walking in Xisi Hutong today? Let's go!

huguosi Street

Today, my route is to get off at Ping 'anli Station on Metro Line 4 and pass through Huguosi Street to Baihuashu Hutong. Of course, you can do the opposite. Because after getting off the bus, you will see this place as soon as you see it, so why don't you start walking here! Huguo Temple Street is a place I am particularly familiar with! Why? Because their old Beijing snacks are authentic. Everyone in Beijing knows that to eat old Beijing snacks, you must go to our traditional old restaurants in Beijing. Tourist attractions such as Qianmen Street are all opened by some foreign merchants. To be honest, the taste is not authentic, the method is not correct, and the asking price is not cheap. So if you come to Beijing and want to experience the real flavor of Beijing, you must go to the old Beijing restaurant!
Huguo Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty, and its location was originally the old house of Tuoketuo in the Yuan Dynasty. It was originally named Chongguo Temple (this is the North Temple, and there is also the South Temple, which has been lost). In the fourth year of Xuande of the Ming Dynasty (1429), it was renamed Dalongshan Temple. In the eighth year of Chenghua (1472), Dalong Shan Huguo Temple was named. In the sixty-first year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1722), Mongolian prince Baylor repaired this temple to celebrate the birthday of Emperor Kangxi, and called it Huguo Temple. Commonly known as the West Temple, it echoes Longfu Temple, commonly known as the East Temple.

huguosi Street

Huguosi Street was clearly called Chongguosi Street, but in the Qing Dynasty it was called today. After the Republic of China, it was once called Huguosi Street. There are Beijing City Watch and Glasses Company, People's Theater, Huguo Temple Non-staple Food Shopping Mall, Huguo Temple Hotel, etc. No. 9 on the north side of the street is Mei Lanfang's former residence, which is now a cultural relic protection unit in Beijing City. Huguo Temple Hotel was built in 1989 for a long time.

huguosi Street

From here, you will see the orthodoxy of many of the most traditional old Beijing alleys. In fact, the real Hutongli noodles are this kind of large courtyard distribution. There may be several families distributed in a courtyard. For example, in this small courtyard, there are Nos. 84, 86, and 88. There are orthodox doorsteps, door curtains, and couplets that have not been removed during the New Year.

huguosi Street

Of course, there are also time-sensitive places like the People's Theater. On November 24, 2018, the Beijing People's Theater was selected as the "Third Batch of China's 20th Century Architectural Heritage Projects."

huguosi Street

Huguosi Street, which has a history of 800 years, has reopened to welcome visitors after two years of renovation. The newly opened Huguosi Commercial Street is bounded by Mianhua Hutong. On the west side, traditional time-honored snacks such as Huguosi snacks are mainly served, and on the east side, the former residences of famous people such as Mei Lanfang, courtyard houses, and private dishes are mainly served. This is also another renovated and renovated Beijing characteristic street after Dazhalan and Liulichang. Coming, coming! Huguo Temple Snack Bar's bean juice, rubber rings, meatballs, and donkey rolling are all highly recommended! Steamed belly is a little expensive, be careful! Other snacks are good!

huguosi Street

Because there are no high-rise homes here. These are all traditional old courtyards, which really have the atmosphere of old Beijing.

huguosi Street

Dalianhuo is a common traditional name in old Beijing. Legend has it that Dalianhuo was created by Yao Chunxuan and his wife from Shunyi in 1876. When making, fill the filling with dough sheets, fold on both sides, leave the other sides open, put them in a pan and fry until golden brown, serve on the pan and serve hot. It is golden in color, fragrant and delicious. Because of its long strip shape, sometimes folded in half, similar to the ancient bag carried on the shoulder, it is named bag burning. Its taste is similar to pot stickers, but the shape is different. But in fact, they are both rectangular ~ What's the difference? I really haven't found a layman with delicious food yet. Friends who know the industry are welcome to help popularize science!

huguosi Street

In its early years, Heyizhai Snack Bar was located at the northwest corner of Beijing Dianmen Houmen Bridge. After liberation, with the expansion of operations, Heyizhai added varieties such as stir-fried vegetables and became Heyizhai Restaurant. In recent years, Heyizhai has been demolished due to municipal renovation from Di 'anmen to Gulou Street. In order to promote Beijing's traditional food culture, Beijing Huatian Catering Group Company decided to restore the century-old Heyizhai Snack Shop through various efforts. The new location is located at No. 67-69 Huguosi Street, Xicheng District. Later, taking into account the needs of diners and the preferences of young people, it was renovated and opened in November 2015 and changed the name of the store to "Huifeng Menting Meat Pork Shop".
There are actually many doornail patties in Beijing. The biggest feature of this patty is that it has the same shape and the same size as the doornails installed on the gate in old Beijing. It is full of meat!!!

huguosi Street

Walk from Huguosi Street to Huifeng Mending Meat Pie Shop, turn left and you will reach Cotton Alley. It also retains many bits and pieces of past traditions. All retain memories of old Beijing

huguosi Street

In the past, Beijing's hutongs were poor, narrow, chaotic, and you could really get lost. Since the renovation of hutongs in Beijing City (of course, the renovation must have pros and cons), they have become much brighter and cleaner.

huguosi Street

However, there are also places that can still reveal the chaotic feelings of the old courtyard.

huguosi Street

Hu Tongli's primary school. The door curtain is also a traditional construction. Moreover, this primary school was founded in 1904 and has a long history.

huguosi Street

As I walked, I didn't know where I had gone. Anyway, following the navigation, you can only look around the southeast, northwest, and there are a bunch of forks after you walk in. You have no idea where you will find after you walk through it. However, this is also a kind of pleasure that the Hutong brings to everyone who comes to visit it. The end and end will always hide secrets you don't know.

huguosi Street

The sky in Beijing seems to have been blocked by Shi Fa these days! Every day is so blue!

huguosi Street

In fact, after the renovation, many elements of traditional Chinese murals were left behind to enrich the culture of the Hutong. In addition to Beijing being the political and cultural center, what is indispensable in the culture of old Beijing is the culture of Hutong! Because of the hutongs, the distinctive characteristics of old Beijing can remain in the hearts of everyone who loves it forever.

Baihuashu Hutong

Ah, yes, basically, after you walk in, there are all such intersections. It is basically useless to follow the navigation. If you walk based on your feeling, you may walk out! Anyway, I think it's quite interesting. It's much more interesting than those alleys that go all the way to Nanluogu Lane!

Baihuashu Hutong

Finally, after questioning myself countless times, I realized that I had not gone wrong! It is the depths of the flowers I am looking for!

Baihuashu Hutong

Don't say, there is really the "deep" feeling I want in the depths of these flowers. Past building forms and modern electricity meters plus an extremely modern one-dollar bicycle. Perhaps the ancestors never dreamed of it going from the past horse-drawn sedan chairs to rickshaws to cars in the Republic of China to the modern 28 bicycles to today's 1-yuan sporty bicycles ~ This is really a dreamy rapid development

Baihuashu Hutong

In fact, many of these curtains along the way have a special feeling of Beijing hutongs. You can find them if you look carefully. There are people living inside. Everyone can simply take a photo outside and don't walk in and disturb people's normal life!

Baihuashu Hutong

This house feels special, I don't know what it does inside ~

Baihuashu Hutong

Deep in the hundreds of flowers is the most elegant name of Beijing's streets and alleys. "Beijing Zao Wen Lu" records: "During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a couple surnamed Zhang bought 20 to 30 acres of open space in the south alley of Xinjiekou to grow green vegetables for a living. Gradually, I had money to plant trees in the garden, stack rocks to form mountains, dig ponds, and build grass pavilions, making this vegetable field a very elegant place. He also opened up land to plant peonies and peonies, and voted lotus roots in the pool. In summer, when the sun is setting in the west, it is really refreshing to get on a small boat and travel between the green waves in the sky. In autumn when yellow chrysanthemums are fragrant, and in winter when plum blossoms are sunny and snowy, there is a feeling that all seasons are suitable. At that time, most scholar-officials and others in the city went to visit. That's why Beijing calls it the Deep of Hundred Flowers."

Lao She described the depths of the flowers as follows: "Hutongs are narrow and long. There are walls of broken bricks on both sides. Sunlight is rarely seen on the south wall, and a thin layer of green grows
Moss, there are faint silver tracks high up on which several snails climb. It feels a little more spacious if you go inside, but the walls on both sides are more broken." Gu Cheng has a poem titled "The Deep of Hundred Flowers","The depths of hundreds of flowers are good, but the world doesn't know. The small courtyard is half shaded, and the old temple is three feet of grass. The autumn wind has not forgotten it, but it has swept away the fallen leaves. This place wins Taoyuan because people will grow old." Chen Sheng sang in the song "One Night in Beijing","I dare not ask for directions in the middle of the night for fear of walking deep into the hundreds of flowers."

In short, the Hutong Deep in Baihua can be said to be a particularly elegant and story alley in Hutongli in old Beijing!

Liuquanju Restaurant

Liuquanju is one of the famous eight residences in Beijing. It was built during the Longqing period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. It is a time-honored Chinese brand in the capital. When Liuquanju was first built, the store was located on the east of Xikou Road of Huguo Temple. It was a famous Yellow Tavern in Beijing. At that time, Beijing's rice wine restaurants were divided into four types: Shaoxing rice wine, Beijing rice wine, Shandong rice wine, and Shanxi rice wine. Liuquanju sold Beijing rice wine. Moreover, the sesame sauce rolls he takes out at his house are my favorite in my life! It's so damn delicious! The best in the world! His family's bean paste buns are also unique!

After exiting Baihua Hutong, walk forward along Xisi Street, 10 meters per alley.

Huatian Yanji Restaurant

Beijing Huatian Yanji Restaurant was founded in 1943. It is the first restaurant in Beijing to operate Korean cold noodles. It was originally located at the west exit of Handan Hutong adjacent to Xidan. It was called Xinsheng Cold Noodle Restaurant at that time. In 1956, the company jointly moved to Shifuma Street in Xuanwumen, and in 1963, it moved to No. 181 Xisi North Street.
In the 1980s, a Japanese youth friendship delegation invited by Comrade Hu Yaobang came to visit our country. They once dined at Yanji Restaurant. North Korean distinguished guests invited by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League also visited Yanji Restaurant. Yanji Restaurant also serves state banquets and makes cold noodles and dishes for important foreign affairs banquets. Staff from the North Korean and South Korean embassies in China often visit Yanji Restaurant and have successively received the North Korean Deputy Prime Minister and the North Korean delegation. In addition, guests from Japan, the United States, Italy, Austria and other countries have all visited Yanji Restaurant. When international friends visited, many domestic stars, celebrities and athletes in the literary and artistic circles, film and television circles, and sports circles, such as Hou Yuewen, Shi Shengjie, Meng Fangui, Zhao Zhongxiang, Liu Xiaoqing, Cai Ming, Xie Yuan, Cao Xiandong, Li Ning, Mu Tiezhu, as well as famous people Pu Jie and his wife's Japanese niece. They also ate at Yanji Restaurant.
So those who want to experience Beijing cuisine are there! Be sure to eat at such time-honored brands in Beijing!

The subway station on this side of Xisi is also quite unique.

guangji temple

Then my next stop should be Zhuanta Hutong, but I saw the Beijing Geological Museum and decided to take this street to have a look. As a result, a site was also discovered: Guangji Temple.

guangji temple

It is also a seat of the Chinese Buddhist Association.

guangji temple

Guangji Temple is located at No. 25, Fuchengmennei Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. Covering an area of 2.3 hectares. It was built in the late Song Dynasty and is named Xiliucun Temple. It was rebuilt in the early years of Shun tomorrow. In the second year of Chenghua (1466), Emperor Xianzong issued an edict to name it "Hongci Guangji Temple". The temple was burned down in 1931 and rebuilt in 1935. The building maintains the pattern of the Ming Dynasty and is divided into three roads. Many precious cultural relics are collected in the temple, such as the statues of the third Buddha and the eighteen Arhats of the Ming Dynasty, the Han white jade ring platform built during the Kangxi period, and the bronze tripod from the Qianlong period. During the Republic of China, the temple was hit by fires twice and rebuilt twice. In the early days of liberation, the government allocated funds to restore all temples. In 1953, it was the site of the Buddhist Association of China. Since then, comprehensive renovations have been carried out twice to preserve the original appearance of the ancient temple.

guangji temple

There are towering trees in the temple and the ancient buildings are well preserved.

guangji temple

I saw such Dover monasteries in Japan. Sure enough, when it comes to Buddhist architecture, I think it's more beautiful in China. In fact, many monasteries in Nara were established after returning to Japan through Tang envoys sent to China during the Tang Dynasty. Therefore, many temples in Nara worship sitting statues of Master Xuanzang and other Buddhist masters in my country.

guangji temple
guangji temple

Those who walked inside found many devout believers reciting Buddhist scriptures. Don't disturb everyone if you have a chance to go. Each has faith and respect each other.

guangji temple

What I admire most is that the names of these houses in our country in ancient times were so literary and elegant.

guangji temple
guangji temple

When he came out, he also saw believers kneeling down with long incense and carrying fruits to worship Buddha. I really have a wish.

China Geological Museum

Opposite Guangji Temple is the China Geological Museum. I really want to talk about this museum. I have been to the Geological Museum many times when I was in primary school. First, I visited it and second, I really found this museum interesting. Coincidentally, in the sixth grade of primary school, the whole class went for a visit at the arrangement of the parents of the class. It's really a rare memory. This should be the last collective activity in the class.

Walking a little further, you will see this building with a story at a glance. The structure of a typical Beijing courtyard and the curtain of a courtyard house are exactly the same as the doorsteps of large families in those TV dramas. Let's not matter whether it has a story or not, let's take a photo of this door first as a tribute.

When you look closer, there is really a story! It is a well-preserved typical courtyard compound. Their name is just Siheyuan. Although it is not open, judging from the external distribution, it must have been a rich or expensive family in the past.

This courtyard site is located on Fuchengmennei Street, Xicheng District. Three-entry courtyard pattern. Sitting north facing south, the Intermediate Court has 5 main halls. The roof of the building is made of stacked stone slabs. The doors and windows are all brick arches, and there are 3 east and west wing rooms. There are 3 north rooms in the backyard and 3 east and west rooms in each. Better preserved.

Walking forward, I found that the alleys here are very well preserved, not to mention their ancient appearance. Even if the shadow of modern architecture is strong, the preservation of corresponding buildings from the past can be seen.

This street is really a small view of 10 meters. They are all typical Chinese compound structures. I felt like there were too many surprises along the way. After living in this city for so long, I have never thought of looking at it carefully, tasting it, and looking at it.

Beijing Imperial Temple Museum

The most important attraction on this street is the temples of ancient emperors. The Emperor Temple of the past dynasties, commonly known as the Emperor Temple, is located at No. 131, Fuchengmennei Street, Xicheng District, Beijing City. It was built in the tenth year of Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty (1531). Its original site was Bao 'an Temple. It was rebuilt in the ninth year of Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty (1530) and renovated in the seventh year of Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty (1729). The temple of emperors of the past dynasties was a place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the emperors of the past dynasties and the meritorious officials of the founding countries of the past dynasties. Qianlong made several adjustments and finally determined the number of emperors to be sacrificed to 188. Qianlong even put forward the view that "China's unity will never be broken." It is a masterpiece in the treasure house of ancient Chinese architecture. It is also an important cultural place that attracts Chinese people at home and abroad to worship their ancestors, praise their ancestors, and enhance their sense of historical pride and national cohesion. In January 2019, the temples of successive emperors, a national key cultural protection unit, will launch the first large-scale renovation in 15 years this year. The repair plans for the temples of emperors of past dynasties have been approved and are currently closed for repair. It is expected to enter the construction site in the first half of this year and reopen in 2020 after the repairs are completed.

Beijing Imperial Temple Museum

So basically, as long as there are important attractions nearby that collect tickets, they are currently in the major repair stage and cannot be entered. The inscription at the door is still very distinctive. Officials and others stepped down here. Demonstrate the nobility of this place. After all, they are dedicated to successive emperors and our ancestors. I believe no official has the courage to compete with our ancestors!

Beijing Imperial Temple Museum

I look forward to the day when it is fully restored and reopened next year. Let's make an appointment here! I will write well!

Beijing Imperial Temple Museum

This piece is a little burnt, and there is a particularly large shadow wall opposite it. It belongs to the Imperial Temple.

Later, I saw that the map could lead from Mutton Hutong to Brick Tower Hutong, so I simply crossed across the road and slipped in when I saw Mutton Hutong. I found that the alley here really retains many of our traditional things.

Such a distinctive door face was also found in Mutton Hutongli. I secretly touched it and found that it was under repair. However, I don't know which big family this is.

But at first glance, the family is very particular. The decorations in the door face are all traditional and ancient Chinese paintings. immortal crane

Deer and cattle are animals that often appear in traditional Chinese paintings.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

After coming out of Mutton Hutong, I was supposed to go to Brick Tower Hutong, but a white tower appeared halfway and attracted me. Walk us. A closer look is another historic site. The Tibetan Buddhist ancient pagoda, full name Lingtong Wanshou Pagoda, is located in Miaoying Temple on the north of Fuchengmennei Street Road in Xicheng District, Beijing. Cultural relics under key national protection. This pagoda is an important symbol of the Yuan Dynasty's preservation to this day, and it is also the earliest and largest Tibetan stupa in my country.
In 1961, Miaoying Temple White Pagoda was announced as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. After checking, he was indeed a big shot.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

It is also currently in the repair period. Can't enter. But let's just look at today's blue sky and white clouds, look at each brick by brick, and look at the red, blue and green color matching. It's really a beautiful word.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

It is said that the white pagoda of Miaoying Temple has no shadow whether in the sun or the moonlight, which means "the shadowless white pagoda has no shadow". Others said even more mysteriously,"Baita Temple has no shadow, its shadow is in Xizang." From a scientific point of view, it is impossible to be completely invisible in the presence of light. The reason why the tower is invisible may be that the tower is tall and conical, and the surrounding area is narrow alleys. The shadow of the tower is often hidden in the projection of the walls on both sides of the alley. Therefore, no matter in daylight or moonlight, no matter from any angle, it is impossible to see the complete shadow of the white tower. But don't tell me, I really didn't see a shadow at that time! Amazing!

miaoying temple white Dagoba

Halfway through, there are also historical stories about the construction of the White Tower on the wall. It really started from the Yuan Dynasty.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

There is also an art space established by a cultural studio in Bandao. It's called Mani Duizhong. Mani Dui is a culture passed down from Xizang. Represents eternity.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

After coming in, it was really a magical little world. There are mirrors on all sides, full of artistic atmosphere. Various concave shapes can be used.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

Don't miss the opportunity, let me take one too! It has long been sunburned so hard that the actual color of my body cannot be seen.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

Then I would like to recommend a good place to take photos. The walls on this side of Baita Temple are brick red, and from time to time there are green hanging leaves on the opposite side. These red and green are matched with the bricks and tiles in the distance. Don't mention how beautiful it is! More beautiful than all! It's so Beijing!

miaoying temple white Dagoba

When no one is around, take a picture of white towers, red bricks, green leaves and blue sky! Beautiful! This is Beijing!

miaoying temple white Dagoba

You can also see the White Tower from afar at the end. It also has a similar feeling to the white tower in Beihai Park, but it is not as advanced as the one in Beihai.

miaoying temple white Dagoba

When I was walking out, I saw a slogan for attracting investment. A courtyard house, a Beijing city. Red walls and yellow tiles, under the roots of the imperial city, the morning bells and evening drums, deep in the alleys. This really represents the essence of our Beijing!

Zhuanta Hutong

Coming, coming, when we were finally about to wander around Financial Street, we suddenly turned back to our last brick tower alley. Zhuanta Hutong is named after the brick tower at the east entrance of the Hutong (Tongxi Si South Street). It is one of the oldest hutongs in Beijing City. It is also one of the hutongs in Beijing that has suffered less damage and has better preserved features. It dates back to the Yuan Dynasty. It can also be said that Zhuanta Hutong is the big brother of all Hutong villages in Beijing.

Zhuanta Hutong

In fact, the hutongs here are similar to the hutongs we mentioned above, but we can see that they are indeed older. But you can also see the retention of this tradition. The auspicious atmosphere of Jiuzhou welcomes the spring! How domineering these words are! At a glance, it can be written purely in calligraphy! Nowadays, every neighborhood and street in Beijing also hold such handwritten couplets during the Chinese New Year to reflect the inheritance of traditional culture.

The small courtyard where the Wansong Old Man Pagoda in Hutongli, the brick pagoda, is located is the base of Zhengyang Bookstore. In the spacious courtyard, there are several old fish basins, all of which were personally invited by the shopkeeper from the old house in Qianmen. They are the scene of the "ceiling fish tank and pomegranate tree" in the old Beijing house.

There is also a map of the suburbs of Beijing. In fact, the more famous place in the suburbs of Beijing can be said to be the tomb of emperors of the Qing Dynasty. You can also look at this map and see that it is not difficult to see that Beijing is surrounded by mountains and is a place recessed in the mountains on all sides. Especially the mountains at the border of Hebei are regarded as dragon veins in the eyes of Feng Shui professionals. The rolling mountains really look like a long dragon standing above the city.

Look at this map of Beijing before it was renovated. Don't mention Denzhao, I really found my home.

Well, there are also many such places to cool off in the courtyard. It's just that there are a lot of mosquitoes. But this smell has to say: it's so positive!

In addition to old books, there are many rare treasures in Zhengyang Bookstore. The pair of inconspicuous covers at the entrance of the old store are old Qing Dynasty objects, and the two iron plates on the bookcase are ice cups for selling sour plum soup. "Sit idle when you have nothing to do, and read while you are free" is a couplet in the bookstore. In the shade of the courtyard, you can tease cats when you have nothing to do, and find good books when you have nothing to do. A bowl of green tea and a stick of old books can be exchanged for an afternoon of comfort.

There are also many books in the room. At a glance, the yellowed pages of the pages can be seen as old objects left behind by history, and there is also the inadvertent Uncle Rabbit, allowing you to return to old Beijing every minute.

"Records of the Historian·Biography of Ji Zheng" says: "A moment is to know friendship. One poor and one rich means knowing each other. One is expensive and the other is cheap." Friendship has passed because of old books, time has been gained because of friendship, the years on the bookshelves, and the mottled plaques on the door plaque. Zhengyang Bookstore is no longer a simple bookstore in the eyes of old Beijingers and old bookworms. Here is the most vivid old Beijing.

The huge Grandpa Rabbit placed at the check-out counter is a memory of children in Beijing who were young. Lord, is a respectful address for people with noble status in feudal times. Every Mid-Autumn Festival, a clay sculpture of "rabbit" is "invited" and called "ye" respectfully "serves" it. The jade rabbit is not a livestock in the mortal world, nor is it a hare, but a divine rabbit in the Guanghan Palace. It cannot be caught and played casually. If you want to play, you can only "invite" a clay statue of a "rabbit" called "Ye" and "serve" respectfully. In the old days, the Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated, and moon sacrifice was the main activity. On the evening of August 15th, an Eight Immortals Table will be set up in the courtyard of every household facing southeast to provide melons and fruits, mooncakes, edame branches, cockscomb flowers, lotus roots, watermelons, etc. There was a red felt laid in front of the table for people to worship. After the decoration was completed, the moon gradually rose from the southeast. The women in the family (in the custom of the capital, there is a saying that "men do not worship the moon, and women do not worship the stove") bowed to the moon one by one in the order of their elders. After offering, the whole family sat down, drank wine, admired the moon, and shared sacrifices such as melons, fruits, mooncakes, etc. Therefore, people also call the Mid-Autumn Festival the "Reunion Festival". The edamame branches on the table are specially prepared for the "Rabbit Boy"

After leaving the Shutang, we walked forward and saw the Hongwashi Church of Beijing Christian Church. Beijing Christian Church Gangwa City Church (Gangwa City Church, Gangwa City Church) is located at No. 574 Xisi South Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, China. This church was founded by the London Missionary Society in 1863 and is the earliest existing Christian church in Beijing City.

casserole house

There are many old Beijing restaurants here in the West City bar. For example, the famous casserole house. Casserole House Restaurant is a time-honored Chinese brand founded in the sixth year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1741). It has a history of 274 years so far, which has accumulated a rich food culture, recording and reflecting the evolution and development of the regional culture of old Beijing. The food customs of old Beijing, the shadows of eating and drinking in the market, and the sacrifices of the royal palace to cook white meat., casseroles in Gangwa City sell "Shenyu"; there are also the historical changes of the century-old development of the catering industry in new and old Beijing... becoming a humanistic witness of Beijing's food customs culture. His family's boiled white meat is a masterpiece. Limited daily until sold out.

Liuquanju Bean Bao

Walking forward, you can also see many time-honored deli shops. For example, Liuquanju's bean buns, Huguo Temple snacks, etc.

This picture just wants to show you how many alleys I have seen along the way. This is still incomplete statistics. Interesting! In fact, it is recommended for friends who want to know about Beijing hutongs to visit Here is Beijing. This program introduces many stories about old Beijing hutongs.

Xidan Joy City

In the end, we traveled from old Beijing to Xidan Street in Yinhe Community! Let's end a journey from the past to the present!

2019.9.3 The sunset of "Peiping"

On September 3, a bland afternoon, after a long period of stomach, I decided to do something, otherwise I would be sorry for my great travel notes. Thinking of the night view of Jingshan that he had booked for himself before. Okay, let's go. Jingshan Park may give people more impression of being the place where Emperor Chongzhen, the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, hanged himself. Emperor Chongzhen felt ashamed of his ancestors and decided to hang himself from a crooked necked locust tree on the top of Jingshan Mountain and end his life. The Ming Dynasty ended. The fall of another Wang Chao in China's more than 5,000 years of history opened the last era of Qing Dynasty rule China.

Jingshan Park

This place is the Shouhuang Hall that has never been opened in Jingshan. Shouhuang Hall was a place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties stopped their spirits, stored their remains and offered sacrifices to their ancestors, known as the "Shenyu Hall". In the Ming Dynasty, this hall was located north of Jingshan Mountain. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the old hall was demolished. The new building is now located just north of Jingshan, on the central axis of the ancient city of Beijing. On the seventh day of the first month of the 18th year of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty (1661), Emperor Shunzhi passed away. Twenty-seven days after the spirit stopped in Qianqing Palace, the Zizi Palace was moved to Shouhuang Hall to stop the spirit. After a total of 100 days, a cremation was held in front of the Shouhuang Hall. The person who lit the fire was monk Mao Xisen. From then on, the ashes of Emperor Shunzhi continued to be stored in Shouhuang Hall until April 22, the second year of Kangxi (1663), when the ashes of Empress Dong 'e and Empress Tong Jia of Xiaokang were sent from Jingshan to the Xiaoling Tomb of the Eastern Tomb of the Qing Dynasty for burial.

Jingshan Park

I entered from the east gate of Jingshan Park. As soon as you entered the door, you found that Jingshan Park was decorated with many flowers and vegetation that could bloom in the coming year.

Jingshan Park

The entire park on the left is a Peony Garden. Peony is the national flower and has an unshakable position in the hearts of Chinese people. Her beauty and popularity symbolize the Chinese people's magnanimity and openness to tolerance for world culture.

Jingshan Park

There are also many other flowers in bloom. In the evening, nearby residents come for a walk for exercise, mothers take their children for a walk, and many foreign tourists climb the top of Jingshan Mountain to see the central axis of Beijing.

Jingshan Park

When you are underground in the mountains, you can see the Wanchun Pavilion from afar, which really embodies the essence of traditional Chinese culture!

Jingshan Park

Climbing the Wanchun Pavilion, you can see the general structure of the Wanchun Pavilion in the distance and the exquisiteness of the city in the distance. I still have to remember how I felt when I climbed to Wanchun Pavilion for the first time last year and saw half of Beijing. I was still excited. For the first time, Zai took a closer look at the place where he had lived for so long. it's beautiful

Next is the highlight! Seeing the corner tower makes you think of where in Beijing! I think you have the answer in your heart.

Jingshan Park

That is the city within Beijing: the Forbidden City. A moat on the outer ring and four turrets. Big white plaque: Palace Museum. This was once the residence of emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There have been dynasties changes, brothers and sisters killing each other, and machinations and plots. He also suffered from the invasion of the Eight-Power Allied Forces and the invasion of the Japanese Empire. However, our predecessors were not overthrown by these difficulties. They moved south with cultural relics and protected traditional Chinese culture. Generations of gatekeepers of the Forbidden City strictly abide by the persistence and persistence in their hearts. Today's Forbidden City It is 600 years old, but it is still as beautiful as ever, guarding Beijing and the people on this land in good condition day and night.

Jingshan Park

When you walk in the Forbidden City, you must not realize the feeling of looking at these magical buildings from high places. We always say that the emperor has three palaces and six courtyards. Can you count how many palaces there are on the Wanchun Pavilion?

Jingshan Park

On the Wanchun Pavilion, you can also see our Chang 'an Street in Beijing, the Great Hall of the People, the National Theater for the Performing Arts, the National Museum, and the National Supreme Court. At the forefront of the Forbidden City are Tiananmen Square and Tiananmen Square. This central axis divides Beijing into two symmetrical halves. A central axis carries the magical history of a city.

Next, let us quietly enjoy this rare sunset in Beijing.

The Forbidden City quieted down at night, and the surrounding night lights slowly lit up. The night lights on Chang 'an Street Avenue in the distance demonstrated the passion of the night in the capital Beijing. The city has ended another busy day and is ready to enter the night when the sun and the moon change.

Jingshan Park

The moon rises quietly. Whether you are on the way home from work, on the way home from school, or on the way you want to go, you don't have to be afraid or panic. May the rising sun and bright moon accompany you every day in Beijing. Spend every ordinary and passionate day.

Jiaolou 2019.9.5 Encounter encounter at the ruins of Zhang Zizhong Road

Today, when I was doing my own personal affairs, I stopped by Zhang Zizhong Road in Beijing. Found that this road is also a road with history and stories. In Beijing, the names of many roads were adapted after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Zhang Zizhong Road is one of them. Here's the story. Beijing Zhangzizhong Road belongs to the Jiaodaokou area of Dongcheng Area, Beijing. It is a section of "Ping 'an Street". It starts from the west end of Dong40 Tiao in the east and ends at the east end of Anmen East Street in the west. Zhang Zizhong Lu has a very important position in modern Chinese history and has witnessed many very important historical moments: on March 12, 1925, Mr. Sun Yat-sen, the founder of the Republic of China, died at No. 23 Tieshizi Hutong, and on March 18, 1926 The famous March 18th massacre occurred in front of the Duan Qirui ruling palace at No. 3 Tieshizi Hutong. There are only three streets officially named after modern figures in Beijing, namely Tonglinge Road, Zhao Dengyu Road in Xicheng District, and Zhang Zizhong Road in Dongcheng Area. These three heroes were all famous anti-Japanese generals who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Duan Qirui Executive Office

Follow Exit A of Zhang Zizhong Road in the subway station, you can find these three famous historical sites. The first place is the site of the famous March 18th massacre and the former site of the Duan Qirui government.

Duan Qirui Executive Office

On March 12, 1926, during the war between Feng Yuxiang's National Army and Feng-affiliated warlords, Japanese warships covered Feng-jun warships and sailed into Dagu mouth, Tianjin, shelling the National Army, killing or injuring more than ten defenders. The National Army resolutely fought back and expelled the Japanese ship out of Dagu Pass. Japan even joined forces with the United States and the United States and other eight countries to issue an ultimatum to the Duan Qirui government on the 16th, making an unreasonable request to remove the defense facilities at Dagukou. On March 18, more than 5,000 people in Beijing, presided over by Li Dazhao, gathered in Tiananmen Square to protest, demanding that the eight-nation ultimatum be rejected. Duan Qirui's ruling office (Duan Qirui was not in the ruling office at the time and did not order the shooting) actually ordered the shooting, killing 47 people and injuring more than 200 on the spot. Li Dazhao and Chen Qiaonan were both injured in the struggle. It is also the former site of the army and navy of the Qing Dynasty. Although the Daqing Dynasty once carried out tenacious resistance, and there were also people with lofty aspirations who fought hard, they still could not withstand the destruction of the fundamental source of the feudal system.

Duan Qirui Executive Office

The ancient buildings here were the former site at that time. But now it is no longer allowed to enter casually and has been divided into public institutions.

Former Residence of Ouyang Yuqian

Moving forward is the former residence of Mr. Ouyang Yuqian, a famous mainland writer, screenwriter and director during the Republic of China.

Princess Hejing Mansion

Further ahead is the residence of Qianlong's third daughter, Princess He Jing. Yes, she is the biological daughter of Queen Hsiao Xian. The Ge Ge who married to Mongolia. But Qianlong loved his eldest daughter and built her own mansion in Beijing.

There are many such courtyard curtains on Zhang Zizhong's road, surrounded by bamboo, green plants, red doors and bricks, which especially feels like Beijing.

Sun Yat-sen Travel Hall

No. 23 Zhang Zizhong Road is a very special existence. If you go forward, you will find that this area is extraordinary. Such a magnificent Chinese-style building gate. There is also a stone lion guarding the fort. But there was no sign specifically stating it. This place was the last place where Dr. Sun Yat-sen lived when he was recuperating in Beijing when he was dying. No. 23, Zhang Zizhong Road. According to analysis, the old house number may have been No. 5 Tieshizi Hutong, which was later changed to No. 23, Di 'anmen East Street. On the north of the western section of Zhang Zizhong Road, it sits north and south. It is a house composed of three courtyards in the east and west, with a building area of 1500 square meters. To the south of the street facade is the three-room mansion gate. There is an inverted south room on each side of the mansion gate, which should be the guard room and the reception room (communication room) of those days. The first entrance courtyard of the west courtyard has 5 main rooms, and 5 east and west wing rooms each; the second entrance courtyard has 5 main rooms, 3 east wing rooms, 5 west wing rooms, and 1 east wing room. There are 3 south rooms and 5 east rooms in the east courtyard. The north is a garden, with rockery, pavilions and other buildings in the garden; the house is surrounded by corridors. At that time, Mr. Sun Yat-sen lived in the main room of the Second Entrance Hospital of the West Hospital. After the death of Mr. Sun Yat-sen, the Funeral Committee decided to hang the plaque of "Mr. Sun Yat-sen's Death Memorial Room" at the door of Sun Yat-sen's bedroom in Iron Lion Hutong. This room is an inner and outer suite with simple interior furnishings. On the west wall of the outside, there is a rectangular carved stone of Han white jade, engraved with the inscription "Dr. Sun Yat-sen died here at 9:25 a.m. on March 12, 14th of the Republic of China." Sun Yat-sen's portrait is hung above the carved stone. In the right frame of the portrait is the "Will of the Prime Minister", and in the left frame is the "Letter to the Soviet Union". On the table against the wall are "Strategy for the Founding of the People","The Complete Works of Sun Yat-sen", etc.,. There is a flower stand on both sides of the table, with a green pine bonsai on the flower stand.

Sun Yat-sen Travel Hall

This place is not open at present, and it looks like a very magical existence. But when you know who once lived here, you will understand the mystery inside.

2019.9.10 See the snow in the Forbidden City in winter, and the rain in the Summer Palace in autumn

The past few days, Beijing has had a good night, and the feeling of heat and humidity that had been felt for many days has finally dissipated. I had been going to the Summer Palace before on sunny days, but I had never been there on rainy days. Thinking that there should be another scenery, I put on my backpack and set out. At 11:30, you enter Deyuan, start from the Beigong Gate and climb the four major continents, then go down the mountain and walk along the long corridor, and end at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. I'm sorry I couldn't finish the entire journey this time. First, it rained again later, and the ground was so slippery that it was inconvenient to take photos. Second, I really found myself feeling inexplicably tired this time. But rainy days did allow me to see the misty and misty Summer Palace and the Little West Lake in the north.

summer Palace

The Summer Palace, a royal garden during the Qing Dynasty in China, formerly known as Qingyi Garden, is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, covering an area of about 290 hectares, adjacent to Yuanmingyuan. It is a large-scale landscape garden built with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as its base sites, Hangzhou West Lake as its blueprint, and drawing on the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens. It is also the most completely preserved royal palace and imperial garden, known as the "Royal Garden Museum". Before Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty ascended the throne, four large royal gardens were built in the western suburbs of Beijing. In the 15th year of Qianlong (1750), Emperor Qianlong used 4.48 million taels of silver to renovate it into Qingyi Garden in order to honor his mother, Empress Xiaosheng, forming a 20-kilometer-long royal garden area from the present Tsinghua Garden to Xiangshan. In the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860), Qingyi Garden was burned down by the Anglo-French coalition forces. It was rebuilt in 1888 and renamed the Summer Palace as a summer resort. In the 26th year of Guangxu (1900), the Summer Palace was destroyed again by the "Eight-Power Allied Forces" and all its treasures were looted. After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the Summer Palace was destroyed again during the war among warlords and the rule of the Kuomintang. On March 4, 1961, the Summer Palace was announced as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It was also named China's Four Famous Gardens along with the Chengde Summer Resort, Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden announced at the same time. In November 1998, it was included in the "World Heritage List".

How much glory the Qing Dynasty left behind, how much shame it left in the end.

Summer Palace-Suzhou Street

As soon as you enter the Beigong Gate, you cross a small bridge and arrive at a place full of love in the water town. This is the garden in the Summer Palace: Suzhou Street. The rulers of the Qing Dynasty in the past especially liked the small bridges and flowing water in the south of the Yangtze River. The beautiful scenery like water. In order to be able to see it often in the capital, they spent a lot of money to build a very similar Jiangnan water town in the Summer Palace. Suzhou Street is also known as the "Shopping Street". Suzhou Street is a shopping street built on both sides of Houhu to imitate Suzhou, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. During the Qingyi Garden period, there were various shops on the shore, such as jade and antique shops, satin shops, snack shops, tea houses, gold and silver jewelry houses, etc. The shop assistants are all dressed up by eunuchs and palace maids. The emperor began to "open" during his travels.

Summer Palace-Suzhou Street

Coupled with today's rainy weather, it's really raining in Jiangnan.

Across this archway you will find the four major continents in the Summer Palace. It is also a particularly unusual building complex in the park. Because it is built by imitating Tibetan Buddhism temples, at first glance, it is really a bit incompatible with our traditional Chinese buildings ~

For example, do these square buildings look completely different from our temple buildings in inland China? From the bottom, they look like a small Potala Palace.

four continents

The four major prefectures are located in the middle of the back mountain of Wanshou Mountain in the Summer Palace. They are Han-Tibetan architectural complexes. Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the pavilion was built on the spot due to the trend of the mountains. In front of it is the Sumu Spiritual Realm (now a platform), with 3-meter-high Buddhist buildings on both sides, and behind it is the Pavilion of Xiangyan Zongyin, the main building of the temple complex. Surrounded by the four major continents symbolizing the Buddhist world-Dongsheng Shenzhou, Xiniuhe Chau, Nandanbu Chau, Beikulu Chau and eight small continents built with different forms of towers. In the south, southwest, northeast and northwest, there are also four lamas, red, white, black and green, which represent the "Four Wisdom" of Buddhist scriptures. There are thirteen layers of circular "phase wheels" on the tower, representing the "thirteen days" of Buddhist scriptures. The tower has a unique shape and a dignified and beautiful shape. There are two uneven platforms and halls between the four major ministries and the eight minor ministries. One represents the platform and the other represents the sun platform, symbolizing that the sun and the moon surround the Buddha's body

These small details constitute the epitome of our Chinese tradition. This is a witness to civilization and history.

Sea of Wisdom

After descending from the four major continents, there is the Buddhist palace of the Sea of Wisdom ahead. Wisdom Sea is a religious building at the highest point of Wanshou Peak. It is a beamless Buddhist hall built entirely of brick and stone and consists of an arch structure. The outer layer of the building is all decorated with exquisite yellow and green glazed tiles, and the upper part is covered with a small number of purple and blue glazed tiles. The more than a thousand glazed Buddhas embedded on the outer wall of the hall are more distinctive. The term "sea of wisdom" is a Buddhist term, which is intended to praise the Buddha's wisdom as the sea and the boundless Dharma. Although the building is very similar to a wooden structure, it actually does not have a single piece of wood. It is all made of stone bricks and coupons. There is no square purlin to bear the load, so it is called the "Unbeam Hall". Because the Wuliangshou Buddha is enshrined in the hall, it is also called the "Wuliangdian"

Sea of Wisdom

I wanted to take a panoramic view and it was too difficult. In addition, the stone was slippery and I almost slipped down, but this building was really spectacular. Groups of small Buddhas are inlaid inside the wall, supporting the entire temple.

Moreover, the Buddha statue is really lifelike, and the details are meticulous.

I did a little treatment on this one, and it really has a sense of wind and rain from the vicissitudes of history and changes.

summer Palace

The reason why I especially like the Summer Palace is that it has my favorite ancient buildings, scenery, and Beijing feelings. In spring, summer, autumn and winter, I remember coming for a walk with my mother when I have free time. This is the first time I have visited here. I took my heart from traveling alone and walked into my favorite garden.

Summer Palace Promenade

The promenade of the Summer Palace faces Kunming Lake, follows Wanshou Mountain in the north, starts from Yaoyue Gate in the east and ends at Shizhang Pavilion in the west. It has a total length of 728 meters, with a total of 273 rooms. It is the longest promenade in Chinese gardens. Each beam on the corridor is painted with color, and there are more than 14000 pictures in total, including mountains and rivers, flowers, fish and insects, characters and allusions, etc. The figure paintings in the painting are all based on Chinese classical classics.

Summer Palace Promenade

It turned out that I didn't observe it well when I came here. This time, I specially looked up at the name and painting of the plaque every time I walked through it. It is really a building that integrates Chinese culture.

Walking out of the corridor, you will find the most classic Buddha Fragrance Pavilion in the Summer Palace.

foxiangge

Foxiang Pavilion is located on the mountainside in the middle of the front mountain of Wanshou Mountain. It is built on a 21-meter-high square foundation. It is a building with eight sides, three floors and four double eaves. The pavilion is 41 meters high and there are 8 huge iron pear wood pillars in the pavilion. Tianzhu, the structure is complex and is a masterpiece of classical architecture. After the original pavilion was burned down by the Anglo-French coalition forces in the tenth year of Xianfeng (1860), it cost 780,000 taels of silver to rebuild it in the 17th year of Guangxu (1891). It was completed in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894). It is the largest project in the Summer Palace. The "Guiding Buddha" is enshrined in the pavilion for the royal family to burn incense here.

foxiangge

Look at the stone lion at the door and you know that this is an important place for the royal family. No one is allowed to enter.

foxiangge

I don't have the chance to climb up this time. Let's take a look from afar ~

summer Palace

Recently, during the National Day celebrations, the flowers and plants in the Garden have been pruned particularly well

Yaoyuemen

Entering from the Gate of the Moon, you will find the place where the Buddha Buddha, Emperor Guangxu, and the imperial concubines lived in the garden

le shoutang
le shoutang

First of all, the Lafayette worked diligently in the park to govern the Leshou Garden where he lived. There are copper carvings of cranes and fairy deer in front of the door. Leshoutang is the main building in the residential and living area of the Summer Palace. It was originally built in 1750 in the 15th year of Qianlong, destroyed in 1860 in the 10th year of Xianfeng, and rebuilt in 1887 in the 13th year of Guangxu. Leshou Hall faces Kunming Lake, backs on Wanshou Mountain, reaches Renshou Hall in the east, and connects to the corridor in the west. It is the best place to live and play in the park. In front of the hall, there is a horizontal plaque with gold characters on a black background at the dock where Cixi took a boat. Guangxu's calligraphy is written. Copper deer, copper cranes and copper vases are displayed in the courtyard of Leshoutang, meaning "Peace in Six Directions". Flowers planted in the courtyard include magnolias, crabapple, peonies, etc., and the courtyard is filled with famous flowers, implying the meaning of "Jade Hall Prosperity".

Yiyunguan

Next to the garden that passes through Leshou Hall is the queen's bedroom: Yiyun Hall.

Yiyunguan

I used my Huawei small high-definition pixels to clearly see the distribution inside for the first time. The layout of typical Chinese classical furniture.

Yiyunguan
Yiyunguan

The living room, living room and bedroom are all complete

Yiyunguan

The yellow mat symbolizes the identity of the royal family

Yiyunguan

Every time I look at the bedroom, I feel a little small, including the bedroom of the Empress Dowager Cixi, it also makes me feel that people in the past could really stretch their legs and legs ~

Yiyunguan

The inner room is particularly open, and many small rooms are open one by one. It is probably enough for those concubines to visit and chat about ordinary matters.

Yiyunguan
Yiyunguan
Yiyunguan

I personally especially like this small courtyard where the queen lives. It is particularly unique, quiet and open. There are also sycamore trees in the park, but I just don't know if I can endure the loneliness of living deep in the palace if I really lived in ancient times.

Yiyunguan

There are also detailed arrangements in the small residences on both sides of the park

Yiyunguan
Yiyunguan
Yiyunguan

I especially like the sycamore trees in the garden. I always feel that they seem lonely when looking at them.

Yiyunguan

There are girls who like to shoot in ancient costumes who really welcome to take some lonely and empty pictures in the queen's small courtyard ~

summer Palace

I think the name of the plaque in the Summer Palace is particularly nice. Hongfeng, if I have a son in the future, I will call it Hongfeng ~

Yulantang

Yulan Hall is built on the southwest of Renshou Hall next to Kunming Lake. It is a three-pronged building. The main hall, Yulan Hall, faces north to south, with Xiafen Room in the east, and Lotus Root Fragrance Pavilion in the west. The east hall can be reached to the Hall of Benevolence and Longevity, the west hall can be reached to the lakeside dock, and the back door of the main hall directly faces Yiyun Hall. The rear eaves and two auxiliary halls are built with brick walls to isolate them from the outside world. They are an important historical site in the Summer Palace. In the 24th year of Guangxu (1898), after Cixi launched a palace coup, she imprisoned the Guangxu Emperor, who advocated reform, here. It was the bedroom of the Guangxu Emperor.

Yulantang

In history, the Qing Dynasty emperors really cared about Guangxu the most. They had passion and policy of governing the country, but they were not at the right time. They always felt that Emperor Guangxu would eventually die of depression. Sigh, although reform may not necessarily save China, it can at least allow our culture to progress!

Yulantang

The decoration inside the hall is very glorious and magnificent at first glance. It is indeed suitable for people of this status as the emperor.

Yulantang
Yulantang

It is also a particularly broad and atmospheric small courtyard, but the visual feeling is very atmospheric at first glance. The queen's small courtyard looks a little melancholy.

summer Palace

I also like the short name Xijia Building. If my daughter calls it Xijia.

Kunming Lake

Outside the main Dihou residential area is the open lakeside scenery. Looking at the Foxiang Pavilion and the Seventeen-Confucius Bridge from a distance, it is beautiful.

summer Palace
Kunming Lake

Coupled with today's continuous rain and the shadow of the Western Hills in the distance, I feel like I have really arrived in the Jiangnan water town.

summer Palace

There are really many small scenery in the Summer Palace that you may have never noticed in a hurry, but the next time you go, you must pay attention to the grass and trees here. Although they cannot speak, they have all witnessed a lot of time. The passage of time

wenchangyuan

Wenchang Courtyard is located to the east of Wenchang Pavilion in the Summer Palace. It is the largest and highest-grade cultural relics exhibition hall among Chinese classical gardens. There are six special exhibition halls in the museum, displaying thousands of fine cultural relics from the Summer Palace from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties to the late Qing Dynasties. The categories include bronzes, jade, porcelain, gold and silver ware, bamboo and wood teeth, lacquer ware, furniture, calligraphy and painting, ancient books, enamel, clocks, miscellaneous items, etc., covering many categories of Chinese cultural relics handed down from the past. Due to the specific royal environment of the Summer Palace, these artworks represented the best craftsmanship of the time, and many treasures were important objects of the country at that time. Some Qing Dynasty court daily necessities are also displayed in the museum, which are closely related to the life of emperors and empresses., have outstanding historical value and are the most authentic physical evidence of Chinese royal culture.

wenchangyuan

Further ahead is the famous bronze ox in the Summer Palace. Tongniu is located on the east bank of Kunming Lake and on the north side of the east bridgehead of the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. It was built to suppress floods. In the 20th year of Qianlong and 1755, it was cast in copper and was called the "Golden Ox."

summer Palace

Crossing Tongniu is the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. The Seventeen-Arch Bridge is located on Kunming Lake, between the East Embankment and Nanhu Island. It is used to connect the Embankment Island and is the largest stone bridge in the park. The stone bridge is 8 meters wide and 150 meters long and consists of 17 bridge holes. More than 500 stone lions of different sizes and shapes are carved on the railings on both sides of the stone bridge.

summer Palace

Every lion on the bridge is different. They are happy and have fun ~

The most beautiful time of the Seventeen-Hole Bridge is when the sun sets in the west. The sunset passing through the seventeen holes of the bridge and reflected on the water is simply a fairyland on earth.

summer Palace

Finally, I ended my trip back to China by taking advantage of the two major town gardens of the Summer Palace.

Summer Palace comes home during the 2019 summer vacation

Then, I am very willing to recommend to everyone the Beijing delicacies I have personally visited when I came home this time, whether it is stepping in pits or planting grass.

The first one: Jubao Source. Per capita: 120. Our shop is on Niujie. Strong recommendation!!!

Jubao Yuan is a very historical Muslim copper pot hotpot shop in Beijing. They all use the very traditional white soup and meat shabbing pots in old Beijing, returning to the original taste of the meat. Because it is a halal restaurant, there are many mutton and beef dishes. Beef is slightly more expensive. The price of mutton is very affordable.

jubaoyuan
jubaoyuan

This is a mutton roll. It can be seen that the meat is still very fresh, with red and white. Fat and thin.

jubaoyuan

This plate of mutton is amazing. To test the meat cutting skills of old restaurants, you must turn the plate upright to see if the mutton will fall off! No, then this chef is qualified! We don't need to guess this game! Must pass! Then I would like to remind everyone that his vegetable platter is very, very big! Be careful! You can order other classified platters. Recommend lotus root slices very good!

jubaoyuan

Jubaoyuan is most famous for its sesame sesame seed cake. Old Beijing sesame paste is a unique one! Absolutely beyond your imagination of tahini paste! After breaking it, there is a particularly well-layered dough, and sesame seeds are also filled with oily aroma! Mainly cheap! 2 yuan each! You must try it! If you don't eat, it's really in vain to come to the treasure source.

Second restaurant: Japanese Sukiyaki buffet pot with warm wild vegetables. Per capita: 149 Chaoyang Joy City Store. Highly not recommended.

Well, as an overseas student in Japan, I ate Kyoto's best sukiyaki at 400 per capita and Tokyo's authentic sukiyaki. I have to say that this domestic restaurant is unbelievably bad. Beef is not bad. I emphasize never putting salad dressing in sushi. Japan's most unscrupulous sushi doesn't have anything like salad dressing. There are also pitifully few sashimi. The buffet selection is okay, right? There are not many vegetables and meatballs. Anyway, I just feel that the taste is so ordinary. I'm sorry for the price...

Third house: Fairy Bean Cake. Nanluogu Lane Store. Per capita: 24 or 30 (because one type of purple sweet potato is 12, I remember the other is 6 yuan. 4 are sold starting. I was very lucky to meet friends who wanted to buy it with me, two for each. I spent 12) If I went to Nanluo and didn't know what to eat, I highly recommend it to try it.

This fairy bean cake is an Internet celebrity snack that I paid close attention to when I was in Japan. Square and square. I bought classic red bean stuffing and mung bean stuffing. The dough on the outside is very crisp, and the dough on the inside is either very sweet or normal and has the flavor of beans itself. Suitable for all ages.

Fourth house: Yunnan Jianshui Tofu. Nanluogu Lane Store. If you haven't eaten it, you can have a taste. It's not 20 yuan cheaper.

When I looked at China on the Tongue of China abroad, I was very curious about what magical species this tofu was. After tasting it today, the taste is indeed magical. It is not the same as our ordinary tofu in the north. It feels very tight inside and tastes like eating meat. It was fun.

The fifth restaurant: Riverside Grilled Fish Oumehui Store Per capita: 102.5 The taste is okay, but the ingredients are not too much. I personally recommend jealous fish. But winning is cheap.

This is a hard dish I eat with my mother. Mom is spicy. What am I? A mushroom. The taste is still okay, the fish is very crisp and soft.

Sixth restaurant: Green Tea Restaurant, 6th floor of Oumehui. A relatively elegant and fresh Hangzhou cuisine. What rings the bell is that the interior decoration of his house is particularly beautiful, really like a Jiangnan water town.

green tea restaurant

Dongpo Pork, which is famous for Hangzhou cuisine, must order! Very delicious and soft! Highly recommended!

green tea restaurant

I ordered a golden rice cake that was crispy on the outside and had a unique flavor on the inside. Everyone tastes good on the other dishes! They are all petty capitalists

green tea restaurant

His green tea roast chicken is also a signature dish. The chicken skin outside was roasted very soft and had a little spicy seasoning. The chicken inside is particularly tender, really tender enough to squeeze out juice. The point is that it's not expensive yet! If you are hesitant about meat dishes, you are right to order this chicken!

green tea restaurant

I think we can order this flame grilled shrimp and try it, which is not much different from ordinary barbecue restaurants.

green tea restaurant

This fish dish is specially recommended. It's really, really delicious! A bowl is only 12, and the fish inside is particularly crispy and tender! In short, I recommend it! It's delicious!

green tea restaurant

The atmosphere in his home is so great! It's like eating on a boat on the water! There is also a imitation boat shape in the middle!

No. 7: Dad's sugar handmade toast. Just walk forward after you come out of the first phase of Shibao Street. Each serving costs about 26 yuan. Super recommendation I have never tasted such delicious toast! Bye for calories and everything!

His toast is all in such a square toot shape! 's cute

The packaging is also very warm. It's carefully sealed to prevent the bread from drying out. I bought the basic style.

It should be ordinary honey toast! Damn it, it's softer than a Simmons mattress! It's so delicious! Addiction! I'm going to keep knocking it!

Eighth restaurant: Old Beijing Sydney Soup. I found it casually on a food street in Dazhalan, Qianmen. Ten yuan a cup. Although it is a roadside stall, it is very delicious. I really don't dare to say: It's delicious! Buy it right! I have been prone to coughing and phlegm since I was a child, and my mother often brewed Sydney juice for me. I remember that drinking Sydney juice at that time was like torture. Now that I have grown up and learned how to maintain health, I find that Sydney soup is so delicious!

Beijing Dazhalan

Ninth shop: Wu Yutai tea ice cream. Wuyutai Tea House on Qianmen Street. 9 yuan each. There are two flavors: matcha and scented tea. Matcha is the taste of Wu Yutai's tea. The taste of scented tea is slightly bitter, but it is very special and absolutely different from the milk ice cream from various online celebrity shops. It is also a different feeling from Japan's Hokkaido milk ice cream. It belongs to the characteristics of old Beijing! Please go to Qianmen Street and don't miss it.

wuyutai tea house

The tenth shop: Wudaokou Xiaojun Liver Kraft is not calculated by the number, but by the weight of the lot. A little weird. But it's expensive. Because his family's lottery is not light. Everything is taken by yourself. Drinks are charged extra. You can buy it yourself and bring it up to drink.

Pan Chenggang Xiaojun Liver Hotpot
Pan Chenggang Xiaojun Liver Hotpot

There is also a duck pot. Well, this mandarin duck pot for the seven of us was prepared for me. Hahaha. Beef tripe and mutton tripe are both good. Beef tripe is a red plate and Longli fish is a red plate. Anyway, red plates are very expensive!!! Celery beef is very good, and spicy beef is also good! The skewers of all kinds of soy products are good! You can also take advantage of small ingredients. This is also the first time to try fried crispy pork and brown sugar rice cake. It is quite interesting. This is the first time I have eaten Chuanxiang! Feels good ~ I can go again!

Pan Chenggang Xiaojun Liver Hotpot
Pan Chenggang Xiaojun Liver Hotpot

Let me show you our results! Cool ~ No matter where you are in the world, when you get home and back to Beijing, there are such a group of people you must see, you must have a meal, you must have a drink. With these people, you will feel that this is returning to China! Go home! I returned to the place where I used to be, the place that was once full of memories. These people are not family, more like family! Knowing these people may be the thing I don't regret most in my life!

Pan Chenggang Xiaojun Liver Hotpot

The results were great! It's majestic! It is incomparable! Battle song begins!

Pan Chenggang Xiaojun Liver Hotpot

Let's show off our great receipts. 1058 for 7 people is okay. Around 151 per person ~ Anyway, it's very recommended.

No. 11: The famous Zhongguancun Shibao Street. Everyone knows about Shibao Street! There are piles of delicious food, and if you go there, you can easily suffer from choice phobia. Like me. But every time I go to Shibao Street, I have to eat. My grandma's house, but this place on Shibao Street is relatively small and there are not many dishes. There is also Nanjing's big-name stores. At first, they felt terrible, but later they felt uncomfortable not eating them.

So I starved myself for a day today and decided to develop the New World.

This is something I have been paying attention to for a long time on Little Red Book. 20 yuan a small one. Still don't think it's too cheap. But the taste is really delicious!

What I ordered was classic and original. It's seafood sauce served with vermicelli, cucumber, and fish roe. Serve with hot shrimp slips. There is indeed a whole shrimp inside. It's still worth eating, and shrimp is not easy to get fat. Girls can eat with confidence.

After that, I walked around several times and chose this Yunnan rice tofu. Unlike Jianshui Tofu, this tofu should be ordinary fried tofu. The inside is quite soft and smooth, coupled with some sour and spicy seasoning. You can try it for 13 yuan each!

That black cumin seasoning.

Finally, I attach to you the magical New China Customs and the European and American Exchange! It's the magic I can't live without for the rest of my life.

No. 12: The famous Xidan Joy City. I feel that every time I return to Xidan Joy City, it is difficult to escape my personal must-go list. Xidan is also a place I have memories of a lot since I was a child. When I was a child, I thought I couldn't afford anything here, so I just came to take a look. Based on the current level, I still don't think I can afford it. Hahaha

hanguang department store

Hanguang Department Store can be said to be an established department store in the Xidan area. The predecessor of Hanguang Department Store, Beijing Zhongyou Department Store, is located at the northeast corner of Xidan Crossing and operates more than 600 well-known domestic and foreign brands. Today, Hanguang has long grown into a landmark department store in Beijing. The brand collection of cosmetics, women's clothing, women's shoes, sports, men's clothing, etc. is particularly prominent. The sales of many brands rank first in the country or in Beijing City.

Xidan Joy City

I came here for a stroll this time purely to see this puff shop called Zakuzaku, which came from Tokyo. Because I didn't realize it at all when I lived in Tokyo. After coming to Beijing, he was promoted by various Internet celebrities: You must, must check in. Then I'll stop by ~ I didn't buy puffs because I didn't seem to have much appetite. It's a bit hot in Beijing today, so I might as well have an ice cream. I didn't expect it to cost 32 yuan! It's a bit expensive, but the taste is really smooth, like pure milk, and it's really the feeling when I eat Hokkaido ice cream in Japan. There are also more rings than other ice cream on the market. Judging from its taste, the price is okay.

Xidan Joy City

Puffs are made on-site in transparent glass, and the quality should be guaranteed. I remember it was on the 2nd floor ~

Xidan Joy City

In recent years, there have been many Internet celebrity stores in Joy City, such as this, um, cute ice cream

Foraging forest

There is also a foraging forest that I have been seeing when I was abroad, so I decided to go and have a look. I was originally going for Jianshui Tofu, but it was closed in the end. Personally, I didn't eat anything else because I didn't have much appetite. There are not as many varieties as Shibao Street.

No. 13: Nanjing Food Stall. Every time I return to China, I have to eat Nanjing food stalls. I just didn't think it was very delicious when I first ate it, but later I slowly discovered that this Wangfu pickled pepper chicken was so delicious that it was easy to eat! The whole chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The skin on the outside is particularly crisp and tender. The chicken also comes down with a bite. Although it is called pickled pepper chicken, the juice is sweet. There is no taste of pepper at all. It's okay to eat alone! Right, because I can eat a pot by myself ~32 yuan.

Nanjing Big Brand Store

No. 14: Arctic Ocean soda. In fact, every region in China has its own drink. Speaking of Beijing, I have to mention Arctic Ocean soda. Let's not talk about whether the taste is the same as the original taste, but based on this sentiment, it also outshines all kinds of milk tea shops. This kind of tinsel has been introduced in recent years. But the taste and sentiment are still the best in glass bottles. Then I can't accept it, it's too expensive. If you listen to 5 yuan, I'm damn it (`Δ´)! I want to hit someone! But you don't come back if you don't drink it! This money still has to be spent!

No. 15: Xijiade shrimp dumplings. After checking, it turned out to be a dumpling shop opened in Northeast China. After four years of schooling in Dalian, I didn't find it. I discovered this while visiting Xinzhong Pass. I was so hungry that day that I made an appointment with my mother for dumplings. Don't lock the three delicacies are really delicious. The whole shrimp is extremely tender and tender, and the filling is also fresh. My mother commented that pork and celery are really affordable. The price is not expensive either. Anyway, it's a good choice.

This is pork and celery. The meat is particularly affordable and definitely different from the so-called pork fillings, which turn out to be vegetables.

The three delicacies are absolutely filled with a large shrimp, and it is absolutely shrimp dumplings

No. 16: Juliulin Roast Duck Restaurant. This roast duck restaurant is on Weigongcun Street, opposite the Central University for Nationalities, which can also be said to be the small canteen of the National University of China. To be honest, the dishes are delicious, but they are not cheap! His roast duck is a must-order. But I never order hahaha every time I go. Today, I went to steam with my mother. Yes, you are right. I went to steam at more than 30 degrees outside, but the result was that my nose kept coming. When I came back, I ordered a pot of hot waist flowers. This is the most common dish I see in Beijing restaurants. I really haven't eaten in decades. It's really delicious!

Juliulin Roast Duck Restaurant
Juliulin Roast Duck Restaurant

There is also a staple food in old Beijing. It is so fresh that it has just come out of the pot.

No. 17: 21st Street in Hopson Hui. Hesheng Hui should be a new large shopping mall in recent years, and it has a lot of things. Up and down several floors. Clothing, sports, jewelry, electronics, entertainment center, movie theater, food court everything. I'll explore 21st Street today.

Heshenghui District 21 block

The building inside is still very distinctive, and it really feels like it has entered an underground city. The restaurants are very diverse, and basically all the restaurants that have been opened in Beijing City in recent years. Snacks are all in District 21. There are many large restaurants upstairs, such as the famous Little Yellow Duck Tea House, Jinfu Yanbang, and Japanese BBQ.

Heshenghui District 21 block

After reading the notes posted by many celebrities, the one that impressed me the most was this park that never sets the sun.

Heshenghui District 21 block

The slogans here are also prepared for our modern foodies.

Heshenghui District 21 block

For people like me who have been addicted to weight loss and have a cold since getting addicted to fitness, drinking a glass of Shanlitang, which has always wanted to check in, is the safest way. It is the most traditional Tremella pear soup with no extra sugar added. Not sweet at all. The taste is all the flavor of pear juice. I think it is still highly recommended.

No. 18: Cai Lan's Hong Kong-style dim sum store (Xizhimen Kaide Mall Store is the only one in Beijing)

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Today, I would like to introduce to you a Hong Kong-style refreshment shop. It is the exclusive refreshment shop opened by Hong Kong gourmand Cai Lan. Currently, there is only Xizhimen Kaide Mall in Beijing. I am so happy that it is so close to me, and the taste is delicious, so I must introduce it to you. In a corner on the second floor of Cade Mall. Meals are served at 10:30 a.m. every day. The queue has already begun. How scary is it? Please take a look at the next picture.

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Yes, this is the scene of the meal opening at 17 p.m. Horrible, it's still a circle outside. It is the distribution upstairs and downstairs. Divide one table, two tables, and 3-4 tables.

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

The plates in his house are also a feature. The words on each plate are different. For example, my ~ May you become the best woman ~ Another example ~ The joy of life lies in eating and drinking

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Let's introduce the rice flour to everyone first. We ordered one with mushroom and the other with barbecued pork. The skin of the rice flour is very soft and basically melts when it enters the mouth. The yellow one next to it is hibiscus protein spring rolls. There are shrimp and some vegetables inside, which are very crispy, soft and delicious. This is also a must-order.

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

This comrade who really promised me to go, please make sure you need it! This is the treasure of his family's town store: crispy rice dumpling buns. Proud hawthorn sauce relieves boredom and digestion. The fruit filling is sweet, and the one just out of the pan is particularly hot, so be careful not to burn your mouth. The outside is shaped like a pineapple bun, which is especially soft.

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Next comes vanilla crisp milk. There is crispy meringue on the outside and vanilla-flavored fresh milk on the inside. It is really delicious.

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Competition for crab and phoenix eye dumplings. There are crab seeds on top and fresh shrimp inside. The golden glutinous rice skin outside is so delicious with a little soy sauce stuck on it!

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Black truffle and fresh mushroom dumplings. Take a bite and feel like you are in nature. Inside it has the flavor of mushrooms, carrots and pepper powder ~ outside it is soft glutinous vegetable skin ~

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

When it comes to Hong Kong-style refreshments, shrimp dumplings are a must-eat for everyone. This shrimp dumpling is really too practical. The shrimp inside is so big that you can't bite it.

Cai Lan Hong Kong-style snacks

Finally, there is steamed wheat, which is also fragrant with meat and rice. There is also a must-eat beef burger, small ribs, and his family's most signature hawthorn pork buns that are must-eat! Quicksand bags are also specially recommended. It's really crazy quicksand!!!

No. 19: Forbidden City Corner Cafe

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Since the director of the Forbidden City took over, the Forbidden City seemed to have come to life. Qianlong, Kangxi and Yongzheng, the three grandfathers and grandchildren, became cute, the concubines even made friends, and the kittens in the Forbidden City became small Internet celebrities. Not to mention it has its own cafe and canteen. The canteen currently has fried noodles and roast duck rolls. This time my goal is mainly the coffee shop.

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

The cafe is on the left after you come out of Shenwu Gate!

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Recently, three casual Mark coffee cups have been introduced to the Forbidden City. Particularly eye-catching ancient color matching and traditional Chinese decoration.

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Well, I have to say, this coffee is already more expensive than Starbucks. I ordered the chestnut latte and red velvet cake this time. The latte is still very good for 32 yuan. The taste inside and the chestnut grains are very full. Drinking a cup in winter should make you cry. Personally, I think the red velvet cake will be better for 30 yuan if it tastes fresh, but the taste is not too outstanding.

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

This cup, this red and gold color matching should be the only one in the world!

Forbidden City Corner Coffee
Forbidden City Corner Coffee

The overall interior design of the cafe is based on the main background of thousands of miles of mountains and rivers. These beautiful pictures of mountains and rivers represent the vast history and grandeur of China!

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

The overall lighting is also a very retro dark yellow.

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Every detail reflects traditional Chinese design elements ~

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

The cafe also sells some seasonal design coffee cups. I, uh, impolite bought the red bean paste on the far right in this picture ~ It looks like a queen's color ~158 yuan

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

There are also girls 'favorite cosmetics from the Forbidden City!

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Currently, these three new cups are sold as a whole ~ come with a small coffee bag ~

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Of course, there are other valuable cups too ~

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Outside is the cute Forbidden City kitten!

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

There are also fat toot guards

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Next to the cafe is the Forbidden City Taobao physical store. The design outside is also cute and beautiful

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

There is also this kind of love scene where I accompany you to watch the snow and rain and watch the ups and downs of the world ~

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

There are many original parts of the Forbidden City in it ~ Especially this copy of the picture of thousands of miles of mountains and rivers is great!

Forbidden City Corner Coffee
Forbidden City Corner Coffee

There are also some suitable ones for young students to buy and pass every exam ~

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

There are also some old books that take you into the story of the city that once existed

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

Speaking of the Forbidden City, the most beautiful thing is these tapes ~ they are really as beautiful as silk ~

Forbidden City Corner Coffee

At the last stop, my gift was completed ~ Although I regret that I couldn't go to the Forbidden City this time ~ I have the motivation to have the gift and let's make a date again in winter.~

Beijing New Culture Movement Memorial Hall

On the way home, I saw the New Cultural Movement Memorial Hall ~ Speaking of which, the New Cultural Movement is really an important turning point in promoting the development of Chinese history!

The last! Wish the motherland its 70th birthday! The summer of 2019 is over ~
