First stop: Shougang Park.

Since the late 1990s, many abandoned industrial factories have been transformed into urban landmarks with the promotion of the creative and cultural industries and policy support, such as the most representative 798 Art District. This stage can be said to be the "Industrial Ruins Renovation Version 1.0".
Shougang Park is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing City. It was founded in 1919. Wudaoying Hutong is located in the northern part of Dongcheng Area, Beijing City, on the east side of Andingmen Overpass, running east-west. It starts from Yonghegong Street in the east, ends at Andingmen Nei Street in the west, connects with Jianchang Hutong in the south, and there are two branch lanes leading to Andingmen East Street in the north. It has a total length of 632 meters and a width of 6 meters. Wudaoying Hutong was called Wudeweiying in the Ming Dynasty, but it was misnamed in the Qing Dynasty. Today's weather is hot enough, but it still can't stop me from wanting to go out. Today, we strolled around the past as a humiliation for Beijing and now it is a place for many important positions and institutions in Beijing: Dongjiaomin Lane.
Dongjiaomin Lane starts from the east side of Tiananmen Square in the west and east to Chongwenmen Nei Street. It has a total length of nearly 1.6 kilometers. During the Yuan Dynasty, it was an alley connected to Xijiaomin Lane on the west side of Tiananmen Square. It was called Jiangmi Lane. It has a total length of nearly 3 kilometers and is the longest alley in Beijing. During the Ming Dynasty, it was cut into two alleys, east and west.
In the Second Opium War in 1860, the Qing government was defeated and the relevant provisions of the Treaty of Tianjin signed with Britain, France, the United States and Russia stipulated that in March 1861, the British envoy officially moved into Prince Chun's Mansion in Dongjiang Mixiang (It was called Liang Gong Mansion at that time, and was the residence of Wang Yunyou, the seventh son of Emperor Kangxi); the French envoy officially moved into Anjun Mansion (it was called Chungong Mansion at that time, and was the residence of Yue Le, the Prince of An, the grandson of Nurhachi); the American envoy moved into the private home of American citizen Dr. S.Swilliam in Dongjiangmi Lane; and the Russian envoy moved into the Russian Pavilion of the Orthodox Church built here in the early Qing Dynasty. After the Boxer Rebellion in 1900, according to the provisions of the Treaty of Xin Chou, Dongjiang Mi Lane was renamed Legation Street.
