If you want to travel around with your children, please don't hesitate to leave as early as possible before preschool!-- The voice of Pipi's father, who has just entered the summer camp.

For every child who has just entered primary school, Beijing is their dream.
beginning of the year,
"Where does Pippi want to go this year?"-- As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Pipi's father regretted it
"Beijing"-blurted out, and sure enough
Primary school students have only the summer vacation available. That was the time when Beijing fans from all over the country flocked to them. Wouldn't it be a squeeze to enter Beijing at this time?
But since I agreed to let Pipi choose, I will fill in the hole I dug myself

Because it was a group trip with the elderly and children, and even the original plan included a flag-raising ceremony, preserving physical strength became a core factor. Therefore, Chongwenmen, a compromise location, was chosen as the base. The itinerary is as follows:

It can be seen that considering the children's interests, the itinerary has specially set two sections of the Great Wall, and the relatively less popular Mutianyu and Huanghuacheng are Mutianyu and Huanghuacheng;

TOP TIPS

1. Museums are closed on Monday, including the Forbidden City and the National Expo. The nature of parks such as the Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall, and the Summer Palace will not be affected! During summer travel, the Forbidden City and the International Expo recommend making reservations in advance.

2. Facts have proved that if you want to see a clean Forbidden City, the method of turning back in the afternoon and re-walking the central axis is ineffective during the summer vacation! Because there are so many study groups during the summer vacation, what really works is to follow the important guests-of course, this requires luck

3、!!! Although it is said on the Internet that Dongzhimen Transportation Hub/Qianmen Distribution Center has a direct express bus to the Great Wall of Water in Huanghuacheng, in fact, both sides will tell you that this bus may not be issued! Therefore, it is very likely that the final compromise is: take the bus!

4. When climbing the Mutianyu Great Wall in summer, it is recommended to prepare more than 1L of water, otherwise it will be easy to get sunstroke! Huanghua City is actually not far from Mutianyu, which is even adjacent to Jiankou. If you are a fan of the Great Wall, you can even charter a car to conquer all three sections of the Great Wall in one go.

5. All visits to Peking University and Tsinghua University require an appointment! Remember to open an appointment at 0 o'clock during the summer vacation! Tsinghua University's opening hours are particularly short.

6. Although many scenic spots in Beijing leave as early as possible, this method is ineffective for the Temple of Heaven! Because the core area of the Temple of Heaven (Huanqiu-Huangqiongyu-Hall of Praying for Good Years) is only open after 8 o'clock (this was not the case 10 years ago), as long as you arrive before 8 o'clock.

Square

The first thing I did when I arrived in Beijing was naturally to go straight to Tiananmen Square. Because the three major buildings painted for children in class are all there

Great Hall of the People

There are many people in the square during the summer, but most of them flock to the national flag and Tiananmen Square, so it does not have much impact on taking photos.

Tiananmen Square-Monument to the People's Heroes

The popularity of flag raising and lowering is very high, and before 5 o'clock, people are already waiting outside the flagpole fence.

Tiananmen Square

The flag-lowering ceremony in the dusk was filmed by mobile phones, and the crowd was packed with water. The children basically watched it by riding high, so... Pipi Mom can't see many of them...
It is conceivable that there will be more people at the flag-raising ceremony.

Mutianyu

Xu Da, the founding general of the Ming Dynasty, studied the Great Wall and walked the entire journey.
Compare the following official maps to briefly describe the layout of the Mutianyu Great Wall:
The gate of the scenic area is actually a long way away from the Great Wall. After entering the scenic area, the bus will stop at sign No. 1. Here, the guide collects tickets, tourists go to the toilet (tourists who travel freely must take the official shuttle bus here), and then walk to cross a commercial street. There is nothing to buy. When you arrive at sign No. 2 and get on the bus again. Then you get off in front of the south ticket gate of sign No. 3 and start climbing. Note that climbing is not climbing the Great Wall!
Here, there are three groups of people:
1. The closed cable car goes directly to the No. 14 enemy building, starting from the green dot on the map, and going on the left side of the scene;
2. The cableway (open cable car) goes up and down to the No. 6 enemy building (note), starting from the orange dot on the map, and going on the right side of the scene;
3. If you climb mountains on foot, you will naturally walk in the middle. Starting from the yellow dots on the map, you can reach enemy building No. 6 or enemy building No. 8.

Noteworthy of attention on the Mutianyu Great Wall are enemy towers Nos. 6, 8, 10, 11, 14 and 20:
Among them, enemy towers 6 and 8 can go up and down the mountain; enemy towers 10 can go down the mountain; enemy towers 11, branch city towers; No. 14, the If You Are the One sign is nearby, which is also the place where the cable car loads and loads passengers; enemy towers 20, not to mention, are the highest point of the Mutianyu Great Wall.
The Mutianyu Great Wall has two major characteristics: the ultra-long staircase in front of the No. 20 enemy building and the many, many foreigners.

Although the Mu Bus tour guide recommended the cable car, Pipi insisted on walking the entire journey. The tour guide had a "hero" expression and then shook his head helplessly. The young man sitting next to him also looked at Pipi in surprise.
However, when he saw us laughing and laughing on the return journey, the little brother beat his chest and stamped his feet again,"Hey, if I hadn't taken them with me, I would have walked..." Brother, please lower your voice, your girl is not far away)

There was a long queue waiting at the entrance of the cableway. When we came to the Great Wall during peak hours, it was not necessarily fast to take the cableway. When we reached the No. 14 enemy building, the old man had not yet got on the cableway

Mutianyu Great Wall

Pipi's father made a mistake on the long climbing stairs. The power was turned up and the water consumption was too high.

Mutianyu Great Wall

After going up, the Mutianyu Great Wall was empty all the way, and the congestion was much better than Badaling. You know, this was the peak summer vacation period!

Mutianyu Great Wall

Of course, there are also times when it is crowded. Compared with Badaling, Mutianyu may be lacking because its winding curves are not as graceful as the other side.

Mutianyu Great Wall

It always feels very leisurely to watch foreigners climbing mountains.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Many people also wrote the name "Here to Visit" on the Mutianyu Great Wall, but... They are all foreigners... So it's really hard to say how high the so-called quality is.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Compared with Badaling, the sense of superiority should not be too strong.

Mutianyu Great Wall

There are many horses along the way. The north is different, what are the most exciting things?

Mutianyu Great Wall

Crying?
The enthusiastic tourists passing by thought that Pipi was too uncomfortable to climb and were unwilling to walk, so they cheered him up:
"Children, come on! The end is right in front of you!"
......
In fact, this guy is losing his temper because we didn't let him go to enemy building No. 11 because we were on our way. How could he be exhausted?
(As mentioned earlier, enemy building No. 11 is a branch city and is not on the same line as the main line of the Great Wall. It needs to be separated and walked separately)

Mutianyu Great Wall

The legendary enemy building No. 20, here we come!

Mutianyu Great Wall

Start climbing! These two people looked relaxed. Pipi's father, who was taking pictures below, was already dehydrated to the point of getting heatstroke. Fortunately, my mother bought an old Peking popsicle by the city wall, and Pipi also bought a bottle of fat house water (so expensive). After eating it, he finally came back to life full of blood!

Mutianyu Great Wall

big scalp

Mutianyu Great Wall

Ever since I heard my father and teacher talk about the Wild Great Wall, the stinky boy has been obsessed with the Wild Great Wall.
Now I hear that the Great Wall is over here, and I'm ready to move.

Mutianyu Great Wall

He really flipped over Pipi who climbed the wild Great Wall with his smug attitude. Soon, the security guard came over and drank back all the people who climbed over the wall.

Mutianyu Great Wall

If you can't see the slope when you go up the mountain, you can see how steep the enemy tower No. 20 is by looking down the mountain.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Next to enemy building No. 14, if you are the one, a commemorative plaque is photographed. It has been many years...

Mutianyu Great Wall

On the way back, I saw a black man who looked like McGrady, but his height didn't look like him...

Mutianyu Great Wall

Finally, the dream of Pipi No. 11 enemy building was realized. There are very few people here, and the sun shines down from the patio, which is suitable for close-ups or silhouettes.

Mutianyu Great Wall

On the return bus, it quickly became like this

Forbidden City

The first-grade children still don't have any concept of history, so things like the Yongle Emperor and Kangxi Empire are really too profound for them. What they are more interested in is what kind of mythological beasts are on the roof of the Forbidden City and which threshold of the Forbidden City is missing. Entertainment news such as

In my impression, the Forbidden City was not so crowded. But the fact is that public enthusiasm has been high in recent years. Tickets to the Forbidden City during the summer are very popular and need to be booked in advance. A mother who came to Beijing with her did not make a reservation and could only buy high-priced tickets to enter.

Summer (autumn?) in Beijing, The rain really comes just like this. The trip to the Forbidden City, which was originally the most hopeful, was shattered by the downpour.
But although it was raining, there were not many visitors at all. Tiananmen area, which was originally troublesome for security inspections, would be blocked even more when it rained heavily. In the past, Pipi's father would directly turn around and change programs, but now that he has purchased tickets, he can only bite the bullet and go on.

Forbidden City

Pipi's father doesn't like to bring umbrellas. Fortunately, Pipi's mother bought two disposable raincoats when passing Tiananmen Square, 10 yuan/piece... Well, I always feel that something is wrong... Nani? There is actually a stall selling raincoats in Tiananmen Square?

To avoid swarming crowds, you can only stay away from the central axis. In addition, the ultra-wide-angle use can also widen the distance between you and the crowd.

Forbidden City

Abandoning Taihe Gate and entering through the Zhendu Gate next to it, there were a lot fewer people in an instant.

Forbidden City
Forbidden City

Braving the rain and rushing into the Forbidden City, the previously prepared routes were no longer effective, and they would drill wherever there was space.
Pipi's mother suggested going to the Clock Museum and Treasure Museum first. Maybe there will be fewer people inside because of the charges, and it will also be a good place to shelter from the rain... Good guy, it's more crowded than outside. Basically, we were pushed through these two halls by the crowd.

If you want to compare with the Treasure Hall, the Watch Hall can barely lift a camera. The treasure museum is so crowded that there is no desire to take photos.

watch Museum

On Jiulong Wall, there is a dragon whose belly is made of wood to pass off as a glazed tile. Do you know which one it is?

Forbidden City

Answer: The third road in the east.

Qianlong COPY Qianqing Palace, Huangji Hall.

Forbidden City

After coming out of the Treasure Hall, you walk south along the east tube. There is a brick arch similar to Uncle Mai's pattern, which is very suitable for taking photos.
But what caused this m-shaped brick arch is still unknown to Pipi's father.

Forbidden City
Forbidden City

Yanxi Palace, which was in flames due to Internet celebrity dramas, um, it was indeed in flames, and it was almost burned down...

Forbidden City

During the summer vacation in the Forbidden City, there were waves of study groups (study groups turned into tourism), so there was no sign of relief in the afternoon when walking the central axis again. But! What's popular in 2019 is a reversal! On our way back, staff in uniforms, gloves and headsets appeared one after another to divert the flow of people. Instinctively told Pipi's father that the road might be closed, so he took the big guy and rushed out of the center left gate. Sure enough, tourists were no longer allowed to turn south at the center left/right gate (later, I learned that there were foreign guests visiting, so the road closure mode was activated)

Rush out from the center and right door and face the empty Taihe Temple Square. First excited, then stunned?

Forbidden City
Forbidden City
Forbidden City

One thing to say, although the clearance was cleared for foreign guests this time, the handling was still relatively humane. The road closure only closed the left half, and the route on the right was still reserved for ordinary tourists. It must be praised.

Forbidden City

Waiting in front of Taihe Hall, the soldier opposite him was a little nervous

Forbidden City

Taihe Temple Square is very open and shocking.

Forbidden City

After clearing the area, the Taihe Hall was empty

Forbidden City

Zhonghe Hall is still empty

Forbidden City

Is the Baohe Hall so empty that it doesn't look like the daily Forbidden City

Forbidden City

When I am regretful, I can't follow me further when I reach the Qianqing Gate. Standing in the middle of the gate and looking at the Qianqing Palace, I am very generous!

Forbidden City

Finally, when I came out of Shenwu Gate, Jingshan Park was another pity. The Wanchun Pavilion at the top was also under renovation and would not open until September. Therefore, the panoramic view of the classic Forbidden City could only be lowered by one level, and it was inevitable to crowd people.

Let's take a look at the Drum Tower opposite.
PS: That famous crooked necked tree is not the original person...

Jingshan Park National Museum

The National Museum is one of the itineraries specially set up for Pipi to increase knowledge.
Although this museum with the largest single building area in the world has stood east of the square since 1959, Pipi's parents have not entered Kyoto many times. It's really a remnant. This time, we can make up for this regret in Pipi's name.
The National Expo is very big. After shopping in it for a day, the family barely finished visiting the ancient Chinese exhibition hall (of course, this is also the focus of the National Expo).

There are many collections at the National Expo. In addition to logging on to the official website, interested friends can also check the "195 Exhibitions Forbidden to Abroad". Pipi Dad is not good at cultural relics. The following names only show that he is deeply impressed by himself: Jade Dragon, Hou (Si) Mu Wu Ding, Siyang Fangzun, drum-beating and rap figurines, three-color camel figurines carrying music, Empress Xiaoduan's phoenix crown, and huge cave (haha, is there something strange mixed in? This joke is a joke between Pipi and his father. In fact, it is the bronze figure in the acupuncture examination. Because the names of the acupuncture points are written from right to left, the giant becomes giant)

Maybe it was the son of the weather that deliberately angered us. Yesterday, the square was still raining heavily, but today it was clear skies, but today we were walking indoors.
This is an afternoon picture, why is there no morning picture? Because we are all busy queuing up every day

National Museum of China

Pipi's father is not good at taking still life, nor is he a high-quality camera. The details of many treasures have not been taken well, so let's just make do with close-ups of the following collections.

Tell you what a gaze from the past is...

National Museum of China

Pipi also learns well... Wait, you can't just picture the baby and not the name... A round of photos is as fierce as a tiger, and I don't understand what I come out to ask.

National Museum of China

There are three battered swords. Guess which one is the Fucha Sword? Which is the He Lu Sword?

National Museum of China

Answer: The one in the middle is the sword of Fuchai, and the one at the bottom is the sword of his father He Lu. However, the museum does not write the sword of King He Lu of Wu, but the sword of King Wu (PS: There are a lot of things of King Wu in the museum).
Speaking of which, whose sword is the coolest sword with carved patterns above?
The archaeologist said: I don't know, let's call it the nameless sword...
Then why do you put it with the swords of the two kings?
Because this nameless sword was unearthed along with the Gou Jian Sword (extant in Hubei Museum), should it be called the Gou Jian Brothers Sword?

Jade Dragon is the favorite of Pipi's father in the National Expo. Under the extremely gorgeous trend of classical art at that time, it was really too advanced to have such simple but not simple works of art

National Museum of China

Famous character in history textbooks: Empress Wu Ding.
It seems that Pippi has taken photos that satisfy him very much

National Museum of China

The reason why this necklace is said is not only to marvel at the exquisiteness of ancient jewelry;
By the way, I would also like to admire the high requirements for the restoration of props by the film crew of "Chang 'an Twelve Hours". Look at the necklace of Xu Hezi's stills below. It's exactly the same! (Transferred from Douban)

Gilded copper statue of Guanyin, Shuiyue Guanyin.

National Museum of China

There are also many souvenirs in the museum. The one that attracts Pipi the most is the commemorative medals. This guy is addicted to buying them, and he still stared at the commemorative medals when he went to the Temple of Heaven at Peking University. Commemorative medals can be bought on self-service machines, ranging from 20 to 50 yuan. Buy two and get a box.

National Museum of China Peking University

Peking University is the second trip specially designed for Pipi, in order to achieve his ambition.
I originally wanted Tsinghua University and Peking University to catch them all, but unfortunately, Tsinghua University was no longer open to the public when the travel time window arrived.
Visits require online reservations, both on the public account and on the official website. Reservations are generally open 7 days in advance. At Peking University, one person can bring up to 2 accompanying guests, so if the whole family is dispatched, at least 2 people will need to make an appointment.
Referring to the official website campus map, public visits all enter from the East Gate (red label), which is on the other side of Zhongguancun North Street, and is directly connected to Metro Line 4. In fact, the West Gate (green label) is the old gate of Yanjing University that is common on the Internet. The general route is from east to west. The three yellow marks in the picture are Huabiao, Centenary Memorial Lecture Hall and Canteen from top to bottom.

The campuses of Peking University and Tsinghua University are all beautiful. Generally speaking, Pipi's father still prefers Tsinghua University. Peking University has a lot of green plants, but it is a bit messy. Maybe it is more concerned about the original ecology, giving people the feeling that they are not cared enough.

The name of Weiming Lake is similar to that of Wuming Sword.
Speaking of which, when Peking University organized scholars from various walks of life to name this lake,
Everyone's opinions are diverse, and it is difficult to judge who is superior.
In the end, the boss was too lazy to make a decision: you are all excellent and it is difficult to choose. Since it is difficult to choose, let's call it unnamed...
Lake: ... (555, I don't deserve a name...)

Peking University
Peking University

If there is a lake, there is a tower. The Boya Pagoda is also one of the landmark buildings of Peking University. Unfortunately, it is also a renovation period.

Peking University
Peking University

Compared with other tourist attractions, college is already a very quiet place during the summer.

Peking University

At Peking University, the two-pillar Chinese watches were originally located in Anyou Palace in Yuanmingyuan, but were moved here in the early days of the founding of Yanjing University.
There are ginkgo on both sides of the road. If it comes to autumn, this place will be more beautiful.
But it's still pretty good now

Peking University
Peking University

I must talk about the Peking University canteen. The things inside are extremely cheap, but you must swipe the canteen card. Bold bees can borrow the cards of students on campus to swipe it and then pay for it with their mobile phones.
Pipi's mother used this method to ask a PLMM to buy a large plate of fruit, but found that there was no place... I had to buy two more plastic bags and eat them while carrying them
Therefore, the most scarce thing in the canteen is not food, but seats.

Yanjing School, which I passed by when I went to the canteen, has a very old Beijing flavor.

Peking University

Not far from the cafeteria is the Centenary Lecture Hall.
The lecture hall is very large and imposing, and there are also some performances that you can purchase tickets to watch.
However, the lecture halls I see in reality are still different from the online pictures. They are more modern and not so simple.

Peking University

Walking west from Huabiao is the school gate of Peking University (West Gate), one of the famous films in North China. Is there a big difference between the live effect and the heart?

Peking University Summer Palace

The Summer Palace is an underestimated point in this trip plan because on the one hand, the Summer Palace is too big and tiring to walk, and on the other hand, the story of the Summer Palace is not attractive to children.
But the result was very fond of Pipi, because the park was so big that you could climb anywhere you like.

There is nothing to say about the Summer Palace. We passed through the Beigongmen Station, which is the north gate of the Summer Palace, so as soon as we entered, we saw the back mountain of Foxiang Pavilion.

summer Palace

Tibetan Buddhist buildings are always so brightly red.

After reading it, you think there are few people? Well, look at the real mountain climbing!
But Pippi just likes to climb up and down this pile of people and rocks

There isn't much to see from the back mountain, but it's a good view of Beijing.

If you want to take pictures of the 17-hole bridge with Jinguang Bridge in the evening, you have to go to the small island in the center of the lake.
The bridge holes here are already glowing with golden light, and the effect may be more obvious in another season.

summer Palace

I like this one best during the entire afternoon in the Summer Palace.

summer Palace

Before retiring, take another look at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge.
If you plan to take the subway (Xiyuan Station), it is not recommended to leave from the Xinjian Palace Gate at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, because you have to walk a long and boring journey after getting out. It is best to leave the garden from the east gate next to Wenchang Courtyard.

Summer Palace Temple of Heaven

Among Beijing's traditional buildings, Pipi's father's favorite is not the Forbidden City but the Temple of Heaven.
1. Temple of Heaven Park is bigger and cheaper than the Forbidden City. The principle of a big bowl
2. The structure of the Temple of Heaven is more concise and clear, and there is no ambiguity in what should be fine!
3. The Temple of Heaven does not have as complicated a story background as the Forbidden City, which is suitable for people with underdeveloped brains like Pipi Dad.
Perhaps thanks to God's blessing, Pipi's father came to the Temple of Heaven three times. The weather was very good. Under the blue sky, the red walls, green tiles and white jade railings were particularly eye-catching.

Although the correct order for visiting the Temple of Heaven should be South Gate-Circular Mound-Huangqiongyu-Hall of Prayer for Nien, because the core area is only released at 8 o'clock now, and everyone will rush to the Hall of Prayer for Nien at the same time. Therefore, if you want beautiful photos, it is recommended to go to the Hall of Prayer for Nien first.

Look at these footsteps towards the Hall of Prayer for Good Years, but unfortunately the door was closed too early.

tiantan Park

Even if you rush in at 8 o'clock as soon as possible, there will still be many people in front of the Hall of Prayer for New Year.

tiantan Park

However, as long as you turn a little to the other steps, you will find an empty area!

The sun rises a little higher just in time for the stars to emerge

But soon, tourists will occupy this step one after another.

Then keep turning. It's not bad to face due east, and the sky will look particularly blue. Unfortunately, the steps are covered with protective boards and are not as beautiful as pure stone steps.
See that little white dot on the top of the sky? Zoom in and you will find that it is actually the moon

The following one is the official propaganda perspective of the Hall of Praying for New Year. It is impossible to empty the tourists without a tripod.

At present, in the Temple of Heaven, the Huanqiu Emperor Firmament and the Hall of Prayer for Nien are released separately, which means that the Hall of Prayer for Nien cannot enter after you go out. Please pay attention when you plan to walk south to the Echo Wall.

The Temple of Heaven is so big. It feels so good to have only one person walking

There are many such century-old cypress trees in Beijing that you can come out and play with them.

Tiantan Park Xishuiyu

More people will know about the Huanghua City Water Wall, but in fact, Pipi's father prefers the name Xishuiyu.
Taking into account the vitality of the children, we arranged the Great Wall twice, starting at Mutianyu and ending at Xishuiyu, so that it would not be too tiring. (Of course, the old man will not climb the Great Wall twice, so walk separately)

The Great Water Wall itself is good, but public transportation makes you half to death:
1. Wonderful No. 1
On Friday, based on information collected online, Pipi's father went to the window of Qianmen Tourist Distribution Center in advance to inquire about the bus to the Water Great Wall in Huanghuacheng.
"We can't open that line, don't buy it. You should go to Badaling or Juyongguan."
This... Why do you still sell this route on your public account...
Pipi's father refused to give up and started Plan B: Go straight to Dongzhimen, because the official website of the Water Great Wall said that there is a through train here
"Through train, there's only a Saturday."
"Yes, I asked about tomorrow"
"Then come back and see it tomorrow."
...... WTF

2. Wonderful NO 2
It felt unreliable, so I discussed an alternative plan with Pipi at night. This guy didn't want the Lugou Bridge or the Bird's Nest, so he decided on the Great Water Wall.
On Saturday, since he said he would come back again, Pipi's father came over at 8 o'clock with the big guys. The information desk asked me to look for it. At 9:30, there was still no through train to the Water Great Wall. During this period, an enthusiastic uncle said that it was possible to park in the outer garage, so he also went to see it. As a result, there was no through train to the Gubei Exit of Simatai outside.
Garage security guard: "That car won't drive"
Uh...
Unconvinced, he went back to ask the Dongzhimen Information Desk.
"That car may not have to be driven."
...... I have never seen a tourist route based on my mood!!!

3. Wonderful NO 3
Pulled Pipi's mother to continue to persuade Pipi, but it still failed. Why is this kid so persistent?
As a last resort, use Plan C: Bus! It's okay, a map shows that it takes less than 3 hours to get there from Route 916 to Route H21.
But!! The map won't tell you that there is a station called Gaoouli on the 916 road, let alone tell you that there will be a fair on Saturday! (Amazing, there are Wei in Beijing)
So just as Pipi's family had just relaxed and longed for the Great Wall of Water, a group of good-bodied aunts and uncles crowded in, all of whom were going to Gaogouli to catch the Weed, and the bus turned into cans in seconds!
And! It was not only jammed inside the car, but also the road outside. There was also a traffic collision! It took almost 4 hours to finally reach the Great Water Wall

4. Wonderful NO 4
The final critical hit.
On the return journey, while waiting for the bus at the Great Wall of Huanghuacheng, he found a small sign posted at the bus stop: Dongzhimen Express Train!
Then he asked the vendor selling souvenirs next to him,"Master, do you have this car?"
"Yes, there are on weekends. Look at that green one."
"Then why didn't we see it at Dongzhimen this morning?"
"I don't know. It brought an empty car here in the morning."
...... Empty... Empty... Empty car...
"Then where is it at Dongzhimen?"
"I don't know"

...... Water Great Wall, Water Great Wall, do you have a grudge against the city's tourist hub? Why doesn't anyone know where your car is? Why would you rather pull an empty car than tell everyone where you parked?

Anyway, let's talk about the Great Wall of Water in Huanghua City, and use the above official website map logo description:
If you drive a bus, you will usually get off at the West Gate Parking Lot, while if you drive yourself, you will get off at the East Gate Parking Lot. (Through train? That guy is not under discussion)

Highlights of the Great Wall of Water: One is the Great Wall that winds across the mountains in contrast to the reservoir; the other is the Great Wall of Water. There are two sections. One section is the section marked with green in the picture. This section of the Great Wall cannot pass through directly when it collapses into the water (needs to be circumvented); The other section is the section marked with red in the picture. Although this section has been submerged in the water, there is a glass bridge above it, which can be directly passed through. You can also see the original stone of the Great Wall after being baptized by the lake water through the glass bridge.
Due to the return time of the bus, there is only 3-4 hours left for the Great Wall. Therefore, the Pipi family's water Great Wall route is relatively conservative. As shown in the yellow route on the picture, the west gate enters and exits the east gate, passing through two sections of the Great Wall in the water, the peninsula, the beach, the chestnut garden and the dam (one section in the middle has been turned over to the Wild Great Wall), so we have no chance to do with the Panshan Plank Road and the Black Dragon Pool.

Entering from the West Gate, windmills are hanging everywhere. It is said that it is just in time for the Windmill Festival...

huanghuacheng water Great Wall

Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall is after all a relatively unpopular spot
Most of the people who come here are Beijing citizens and foreigners, so it is very empty. Compared with Mutianyu, Mutianyu is too crowded

Compared with Mutianyu, the Huanghuacheng Water Wall is particularly neatly decorated, and convenient facilities such as handrails and railings have also been built.
However, precisely because it is too neat, it looks more like a Putong City Wall than guarding the Great Wall that has experienced vicissitudes for a century.
Coupled with the large number of amusement facilities, glass bridges, windmills, etc. that are not connected to historic sites,
In Pipi's mother's words, it's more like an amusement park
Pipi's father felt that there was nothing wrong with it. Doesn't Osaka's Tianshou Pavilion also follow this route?

The peninsula looks a bit like the Lugulige Peninsula.
Six consecutive films are taken to give a panoramic view. In this picture, both sections of the Great Wall in the water have been photographed. Can you find it?

huanghuacheng water Great Wall

Compared with the chill and coldness of other Great Walls, the Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall is particularly close to the people.
Everyone plays with it as a big reservoir.

Walking inside, the sand on the beach is white and thin, just like the sand on Yintan.

There is also a Ming Dynasty chestnut garden here. After personal testing, chestnuts are delicious and cheap

The staircase from the Chestnut Garden to the Great Wall in the water is still quite steep. You can see the downhill posture of the fat corn behind Pipi.

Through the transparent glass bridge, the rubble of the city wall lies there.

You can quickly walk to another section of the Great Wall in the water.

You can see here that this section of the Great Wall collapsed directly into the water.

Pipi's mother was scared to dare to stand on such a high dam and shout.
Looks like this kid is really having fun
(There is a section in front that turns over to the Wild Great Wall again)

There is also a big fish in the middle of the river under the dam. It is indeed the Big Reservoir Park

After walking through the dam and passing through the tunnel, I came out. Looking back, it said Xishuiyuguan, not Huanghuacheng.

It takes another 3+ hours for the return journey. What's worse is that there are no seats after the transfer.
The poor little guy just sat on the bus floor and fell asleep by the credit card reader
A 7+-hour bus trip is just for the sake of less than 4 hours of water to the Great Wall. Pipi is really a fan of the Great Wall! Perseverance is amazing!

Dongjiaomin Lane

Dongjiao Min Lane is an alley that Pipi's father likes very much, not only because it has multiple elements of life and various styles of foreign port buildings, but also because it is located here, which is commonly known as Dongjiao Min Lane Church.
On Christmas Eve 12 years ago, Pipi's father accidentally bumped into this church for the first time. He walked into this church. The image of the statue of the Angel of St. Meire facing the cold moon in the sky on a cold night is still new to my memory. Later, even after visiting churches in Beijing's Four Catholic Churches, Guangzhou Shishi, Shanghai's Xujiahui, Xi'an Wuxing Street, etc., Dongjiaomin Lane Catholic Church is still the No. 1 among domestic churches in Pipi's father's heart.

We live in Chongwenmen, a few steps away from Dongjiaomin Lane, but the iron gate of the church was closed when we took Pipi for a tour.
Pipi's father thought that the church should have activities on the weekend, so on the day of his return journey, he got up at 6 o'clock and went out for a walk alone. Sure enough, it was really open.

Twelve years ago, the plaque at the entrance read "Dongjiaomin Lane Catholic Church", but now it has been changed to "St. Meyer Catholic Church".

When you step into the church again 12 years later, everything is different.
Pipi's father also discovered for the first time that the chanting here was actually sung by composing scriptures into songs, just like those Buddhist scriptures singing scriptures...

Dongjiaomin Lane Church

The interior of the church is chanting and it is difficult to shoot against the flower window. It should be very beautiful from the outside.

Those who are interested can pay attention to the actual opening hours of the church.

Compared with today, it has almost no change.

Directly opposite the church is the former site of the Belgian Embassy.
I envy this old man very much. He rides a bicycle on this comfortable street every day

Dongjiaomin Lane Other

1. National Center for the Performing Arts
Although the square is crowded, the National Theater behind the Great Hall of the People can be said to be very quiet.
After all, it is a famous bird egg. Friends who plan to avoid the crowd during the summer can consider it. If they have time, they can also watch a performance.

National Grand Theatre

Only one arrived on the 35th day, so the perspective was relatively single.

Eight slices have a panoramic view of the bird eggs. The cool color on the left corresponds to the warm color on the right. Unfortunately, the water surface is not calm enough.

2. Imperial Temple
I went to the ancestral temple because I had finished strolling the square, but it was far before the flag lowering time.
The ticket is only 2 yuan, so it's just a place to rest. But be aware that many doors cannot be entered after 5 o'clock

The ancestral temple and ancient buildings throughout Beijing are accompanied by these century-old cypress trees, which are often over 400 years old.

Conclusion of Imperial Temple

When you choose the warriors of Beijing during the summer vacation, you may not be able to avoid the surging crowd, have to rush early and be greedy, or even lie tired on the Great Wall. But life is like this. Isn't it good to occasionally open HARD mode to play games?
After all, Beijing is the heart of children, and it is also what all big friends once dreamed of. It is a city that cannot be avoided, and you can grow up with children!

So, Pippi, what do you see?
