In autumn, you must live in Peiping

Six years later, I visited the Imperial Capital for the second time and met to see the yellow leaves flying far across the sky. Beijing in late autumn is full of dry branches and golden color.

Day1 Qianmen-Beijing Square-Muji Hotel

Compared with six years ago, accommodation in Beijing is much more expensive. With limited budget, I chose Holiday Inn Express Qianmen. It is far away from the subway station and convenient public transportation, about 3 kilometers away from Qianmen. Newly renovated, the room and WC are relatively spacious and comfortable. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries, only two-in-one. The free black tea in the lobby is very delicious, and 2 thermos cups are filled every day.

There is also 7-11 at the door. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is finally a convenience store on Beijing Street. In fact, this is the only convenience store I have encountered in the past few days. Perhaps the newsstands on the street have supplemented the demand in this regard.

Bus No. 102/106 from South Railway Station to the hotel has 3 stops. It is very convenient and it is the departure station. The subway starts at 3 yuan and takes about 3-4 stops. Public transportation is sold in sections, which costs 2 yuan within 10 kilometers, and 1 yuan for every additional 5 kilometers. You need to swipe your card to get on and off the bus. If you swipe your bus card, you will be able to fold it in half, which is super cost-effective. We only took the subway 3 times in the 5 days we were in Beijing. For the rest of the journey, 50 yuan was enough for the bus card. Beijing's bus stations are very unique. Each line has a fixed location. People and vehicles are lined up in an orderly manner during peak hours. However, there are no warnings at the stations about the expected arrival of vehicles. Many stations only have billboards and no seats to rest. All vehicles are equipped with security guards throughout the journey. The driver sits in a transparent enclosed cab with few seats, and only half of the seats are in the front.

Compared with six years ago, there are many more bus card refund points. Beijing Railway Station, West Railway Station, South Railway Station, and Dongzhimen Airport Express have card refund points. As for whether you can find it, it depends on fate. Student Yang easily found it at South Railway Station, but I couldn't find it. Thanks to Scud Yang for returning my card half an hour before driving.

It was already past 5 o'clock when I arrived at the hotel. Student Yang, who started first, just came back from Ditan Park. We took the 66 route to Qianmen together.

At night, the front door is resplendent and there are many tourists.

Star Dad who is best at West meet East

I thought I would encounter Beijing with a strong Christmas atmosphere. The Star Dad Cup is the only thing we feel about Christmas in Beijing. Maybe it is still too early for Christmas.

The Beijing Square next to it is deserted. It is quite surprising. The newly built buildings are basically niche brands + fashionable restaurants. Maybe it is better to come during the day and be dark at night. Divided into several areas, it is not easy to find a certain store.

Internet celebrity bookstore Page one, the interior design is very good, there are not many people.

Muji Hotel, the first Muji hotel in China, has MUJI Shopping Mall downstairs. Prices range from 550 tatami to 1300 standard rooms. The rooms are not big and can only be booked on the official website. It is said that they have been booked until next year.

There are 2 restaurants in Muji. The Muji Café on the first floor is cheaper. I recommend Muji Dinner on the fourth floor, which has a terrace overlooking Tiananmen Square.

The decoration style is always cold and simple, and the dishes belong to Japanese dishes eaten in the West.

This small pot of soup is very delicious. It is paired with small kumquat to give up some of the delicious flavor. It is just right and highly recommended.

The other two noodles we ordered were quite reasonable, and the overall price was not cheap.

Outside the window is the brightly lit front door, and further away is the solemn Tiananmen Gate Tower. Although the terrace is not open that day, the VIEW through the glass will be unforgettable for a lifetime, and it is only available in Beijing!

Day 2, Mutianyu Great Wall-Gui Street, clear skies

The "Mu Bus" was booked in advance online. The round-trip ticket was 80 yuan, the ticket was 40 yuan, and the round-trip cable car was 120 yuan. Payment was made on the bus. There was no shopping or eating during the entire journey. Getting on: Turn right 100M at Exit C of Dongsi Shitiao Subway Station, at the entrance of Hang Seng Bank. The return journey is also here. It takes 1 and a half hours each way. The running water leaves from 7:30 to 8:00 every morning, and there is also one at 12:00 noon.

The tour guide introduced that the existing Great Wall is all the Ming Great Wall. There are 4 Great Wall in Beijing, the most famous one being the Badaling Great Wall, with many group tourists. The latest one to be developed was the Mutianyu Great Wall, which was only opened in 2000. I only learned about the Mutianyu Great Wall after reading "If You Are the One". It is said that all foreign leaders come to the Mutianyu Great Wall. I went back and asked my colleagues, but they all went to the Mutianyu Great Wall.

To get there, you need to walk a 500M commercial street without shopping. If you want to take this sign, you can only take it on the way out. On the return journey, you can drive directly from the scenic spot from the cable car station and no longer pass through the commercial street.

There is still a slope to climb from the parking lot to the cable car station. The ginkgo leaves on both sides are golden. We have no words, so Student Yang only said one sentence for a long time: The forest is getting dyed... This ramp made us breathless.

For non-mountaineering enthusiasts, it is highly recommended that the cable car (a fully enclosed carriage that can seat 6 people) go back and forth, which can reach the No. 14 beacon tower in 5 minutes. People with moderate physical strength can reach the highest peak, No. 20 beacon tower, and there is still time to have a leisurely and unhurried lunch. The cable car we took was the same as Mrs. Obama. I am afraid of taking the cable car, but the cable car here is okay and the view is good.

Those who are brave can take the open-air cableway (fully open carriages can only seat 2 people) or the slide. The price is the same. Take it at the cableway station next to the cable car station and only reach the No. 8 beacon tower. There are no WC or garbage cans on the Great Wall. Everyone dispose of them in advance.

At the entrance of No. 14 beacon tower, many people took photos.

The mountains opposite are undulating and magnificent, and live up to the reputation of a human miracle. The level is limited, and I cannot shoot the momentum that stretches thousands of miles.

The sky blue in the suburbs is as blue as a watercolor painting.

Overall, there are not many people, no group tourists, all are individual tourists traveling freely, there are many foreigners, and the comfort level is high. I imagine that the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered with yellow leaves on the mountains, but in fact the mountains are bare. I looked at the photos of other netizens and found that spring and summer are lush. Maybe it would be more appropriate to come by the end of October to see the yellow leaves. There are really many bees on the mountain. Don't worry about it and just walk away.

The proposal scene of If You Are the One is at beacon tower No. 15.

Except for the beacon towers No. 19-20, which have a slope of almost 45 degrees, which really requires both hands and feet, the rest of the roads are relatively flat and can also be climbed by the elderly and older children. There are also many people who climb the Great Wall with their dolls in their arms, and they secretly admire them.

I knew that I was not physically strong, so I retreated when I reached the No. 17 beacon tower. Student Yang bravely climbed the No. 20 beacon tower. After passing the beacon tower No. 20, you will find the Wild Great Wall. The road is blocked, but there are quite a few people who climb the wild Great Wall over the beacon tower, so safety comes first.

There are many cafes, fast food restaurants, and farmhouses at the foot of the Great Wall. I immediately spotted the Mu Coffee at the entrance of the cable car station, which belongs to the lobby bar of the Great Wall Hotel. Coffee is 40 yuan, which is not cheap and there are very few people. The waiters mainly operate open-air stalls at the entrance. If they want to consume goods, they can just shout at the entrance. I asked the waiter if there was any lunch available in the hotel. The waiter said that if you follow the big feet on the ground, you will find the Chinese restaurant through the hotel. She decisively made an appointment for lunch and gave myself a leisurely meal.

It's very rare to have such an antique hotel at the foot of the Great Wall. Even if you don't have to eat, it's excellent to visit and take photos.

The restaurant is difficult to find, and it was only found at the end of the hotel. The environment is very good and there are not many people. The consumption is the same as that of ordinary restaurants in the city. It is a very good supply and rest restaurant after visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall.

It is said that Mutian Yu Great Wall has two major specialties, one is chestnut chicken and the other is rainbow trout. We ordered rainbow trout, which is the taste of ordinary fish, nothing special

Return to the city around 4 o'clock

Dongsishitiao Subway Station was built in 1971, but the Beijing subway was built very early.

After listening to the tour guide's advice, I took a subway stop and went to Gui Street next to Dongzhimen for a stroll and had dinner. There are many sunken overpasses like this in Beijing.

Guijie Street is located between Dongzhimen and Beixinqiao Subway Station. It is about 2 kilometers long and is a night market food street in Beijing. It looks normal during the day, but only at night is it lively and fragrant. Beixinqiao Station is very close to Yonghegong/Imperial College.

Passing by a shared office with a courtyard house, this is the most beautiful shared office I have ever seen. Siheyuan is to Beijing what Shikumen is to Shanghai.

The most famous restaurant on this street is Huda, which has several branches and specializes in crayfish. It is very popular in summer. Are sheep scorpions eaten in autumn and winter?

There are also many restaurants with courtyard houses. We took a fancy to Huajia Yiyuan-Courtyard Main Store.Eat Beijing Eight Items in an authentic courtyard house.

The entrance is very small, the walls are covered with various honors, and the store is suddenly lit up. It is a standard Beijing courtyard house. We arrived early and didn't have to wait in line. When we came out, there were already two rows at the door.

Individual guests sit in the courtyard, and private rooms are indoors. It specializes in Beijing cuisine, with roast duck and crayfish as the specialties.

Beijing eight pieces, Chinese dim sum, very exquisitely placed, taste OK, and there is also a takeout gift box if you like. There is still live singing at 6:30.

Another recommendation of the tour guide is to go to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag lowering after returning from the Great Wall.

Day 3 Shijia Hutong-Forbidden City-Jingshan Park (Sunset Forbidden City), sunny

I got up early on the day I went to the Great Wall and only packed some breakfast. Today, I could finally sit down and have a leisurely breakfast. Although it is not as luxurious as the breakfast in a five-star hotel, this price is generally acceptable and is updated slightly every day.

I was tired from climbing the Great Wall the day before, and I had to go to Tsinghua University the next day. Yuanmingyuan was all manual work. I was willful, so I canceled my ticket to the Forbidden City and just planned to visit Shenwumen and visit the Forbidden City Taobao and something. Student Yang was so physically strong that he went to the National Museum and the Forbidden City. We met at the north gate of the Forbidden City in the afternoon.

There is no direct bus from the hotel to Jingshan Park. Take No. 106 and turn to No. 111 at Dengshikou, and visit Shijia Hutong on the way.

There are two things I like very much in Beijing. 1. WC is abundant and clean, and there are also many bus stops. 2. Beijing is the city where I have encountered the most mailboxes except Shanghai. My father is a stamp collector, and I send him postcards every place I go.

Sharing bicycles is also very convenient. It is recommended to use them more for short distances to save physical strength.

We know that Shijia Hutong originated from Zhang Hanzhi's "Crossing the Thick Red Gate", and the Zhang family's former residence is located at No. 51 in Shijia Hutong.

The external walls of the current Shijia Hutong have been renovated and are relatively newly renovated. It is inhabited by residents, has no commercial facilities, and is very quiet.

There is a museum at the end of the alley that is open for free for rest. The Cultural and Creative Museum next door is quite innovative and expensive. In addition, Dengshikou is really crowded with luxury hotels. If you have money in the future, I will come and stay there and have a Li's family meal.

Lao She said: "In autumn, you must live in Peiping." This Hutong restaurant with a view of Wanchun Pavilion aptly explains this point.

Wangchun Food Pavilion is located in an alley at the east gate of Jingshan Park. The door is very low-key, like an ordinary household and belongs to a high-quality restaurant around the Forbidden City. Since only the indoor restaurant is open, there are not many places. I arrived at the store after 1 o'clock and waited for more than half an hour. After sitting down, I found that 4 tables were empty. This hunger marketing...

The environment is very good. On one side are the yellow leaves outside the window, and on the other side is the Wanchun Pavilion. No wonder it is called Wangchun Food Pavilion.

It belongs to innovative dishes, fusion dishes, Guangxi cuisine, Beijing cuisine, local cuisine, desserts, and coffee. I ordered the middle portion of the signature Guilin rice noodles, which cost 35 yuan. It was a really small portion. It was dry mixed flour without soup. It felt like it would be gone in 2-3 bites. The taste is not as good as the Guilin rice noodles at roadside stalls. Maybe I like to eat soup noodles. The spicy sauce on the table is very delicious and it is very good to mix rice noodles.

The coffee is full of sincerity. It is a large cup and is served with 2 pieces of Genting flowers. In late autumn in Beijing, I was drinking coffee and eating Guilin rice noodles in the courtyard house of Wanchun Pavilion. It felt great. It would be better if I drank another bowl of Guilin rice noodles stewed soup.

Apart from the hunger marketing when waiting, the service itself is very good and the service fee is right. It was so good that I opened the shutters, and I looked up. A waiter immediately came over and asked if the sun was hurting me. I said I just wanted to see which direction Wanchun Pavilion was in.

The courtyard itself is a boutique hotel, but I personally think that the hardware of the old house is not good and the transportation is not convenient enough. It is not cost-effective to stay there. It is a good experience to have a meal and have afternoon tea.

Jingshan Front Street is crowded with tourists,

However, Jingshan East Street is as quiet as a paradise. Outside the high red palace walls is a gorgeous gold color.

The sun was shining in the afternoon, and my slag technology could only shoot a corner tower with this effect.

Shenwu Gate, the crowded north gate of the Forbidden City, is simply shuttling through the smoke. Smoking bans in public places has a long way to go!

Walking to the left is the Forbidden City Corner Restaurant. The price ranges from 30 to 50 per set meal. The environment is very good. There is also a small piece of cultural and creative products. I bought the "Taihe Hall" refrigerator sticker. Once upon a time, this was the Forbidden City Hot Pot Bar.

Walking to the right are the famous Forbidden City Coffee and Forbidden City Taobao. Paper creation, once the Forbidden City comes out, who can compete with it? Being number one in the world is also a lonely thing.

I heard that the Forbidden City coffee that has been queuing up has average taste and is not cheap. It's quite cool to see other girls taking photos with Forbidden City cups. I wanted to put in the accompanying cup, but there were too many thermos cups at home, and I was too lazy to queue up, so I didn't go in. It is said that the accompanying cup does not keep warm.

The beautiful Forbidden City jewelry is not the same as the Forbidden City Taobao, it is next door.

If it was Qianjin gold, the basic 2K+ to 5 digits would not be capped. When I was excited, I added 2 bracelets.

In contrast, the Forbidden City Taobao is really a Taobao model, buying stickers and kittens. Many girls put kittens on coffee cups in the Forbidden City to take photos.

This baby has not even stepped into the Forbidden City, but he has already chopped off his hands with 1K +. Let me feel sorry for my purse first... Student Yang only bought a ticket and took away the clean wind.

Jingshan Park is opposite the Forbidden City. No matter how tiring it is to get out of the Forbidden City, I recommend going to Wanchun Pavilion just to overlook the panoramic view of the Forbidden City. Tickets are 2 yuan, which is quite conscientious and open until 7 o'clock.

The longest memory of the Forbidden City is that at the end of the drama "Step by Step", Wu Qilong sat in a pile of old papers crying. Second, I brush the Imperial Capital and second, I brush the Forbidden City. I can't wait to look back and appreciate it. That heaven is the place where I loved you.

Wanchun Pavilion faces east and overlooks Beijing Station. Facing west are Beihai and Houhai, and facing north is Drum Tower, which is located on the central axis of the entire city of Beijing.

I have always wondered what the ancient palace in the north was for? There is no reason for it to go through Baidu.

In Jingshan Park, we accidentally watched the sunset. Half of the sun quickly swallowed into the sea of clouds, setting the Forbidden City at sunset!

Cut out a piece of candlelight and light up the scriptures. Thousands of volumes of history books were thrown away and quickly covered with dust.

Day 4 Tsinghua University, Yuanmingyuan, sunny to overcast

The Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan, Peking University, and Tsinghua University are all together, far away from the city. The places are all very large, and it is very difficult to visit 4 places a day. Last time I came to Beijing, I went to the Summer Palace and Peking University. This time I went to Yuanmingyuan and Tsinghua University.

Bus No. 102 transfers to Metro Line 4 to Yuanmingyuan Station, which takes about 1 hour. This was the first time I came to Beijing and hated subway transfers. This time, there was no subway near the hotel anyway, so I decided to take the bus to the nearest Line 4 station to save the trouble of transferring to the subway.

Yuanmingyuan Station walking 200m east is the west gate of Tsinghua University and the only entrance for tourists to visit Tsinghua University. Don't go to the wrong gate, or you will walk around the campus until you cry.

Tsinghua University currently does not accept on-site queues. It must make an appointment one week in advance on the "Visit Tsinghua" Mini programs. Each person can make an appointment for a maximum of 2 people, and it is only open on weekends. Tsinghua University is very big. If you go around all of them, it is recommended to share bicycles (available on campus) or take a free campus bus. There are 3-4 routes. For details, see the official website.

There are many tourists and more student groups visiting the school. We only plan to visit the lotus pond moonlight, Shuimu Tsinghua University and Tsinghua Garden archway, and walk along the main road-Tsinghua West Road.

The season is not right. There is only a pool of dead leaves left in the moonlight of the lotus pond without lotus flowers.

The road near Tsinghua Garden is full of ginkgo trees. The ground is golden and many people take photos.

Tsinghua Garden is the symbol of Tsinghua University. If young people are strong, the country will be strong!

We have been classmates with Yang for 4 years and have been together for nearly 20 years. What we share together is growth.

Another symbol of Tsinghua University, Shuimu Tsinghua University has average scenery due to the seasons. There were several people at the entrance of the university who recommended themselves to be tour guides, but we ignored them. In fact, Beijing is a city where "3 points to see and 7 points to listen", and I regret not having hired a tour guide to accompany us to visit Tsinghua University.

When we were studying, we thought the canteen was terrible, and after work, we thought the school canteen was super cheap. We also planned to have a meal in Tsinghua University, but unfortunately the canteen is not open to the public. All tourists can only eat at the Xichun Garden Restaurant. There are many people and wait for 40 minutes.

The name is elegant, the environment is good, the price and taste are similar to those of ordinary restaurants, with no special features, and there is no need to make a special trip to experience it. There are no places to eat near Tsinghua University, so we can only eat here

Yuanmingyuan Subway Station is the south gate of Yuanmingyuan. Online ticket purchase also goes from the south gate. Walking to the northernmost Dashui Law is about 2 kilometers. There are signs along the way. Most people also want to see the Dashui Law. You can basically visit half of Yuanmingyuan along the way.

The park is very large, and it is said that Tsinghua Garden is also part of Yuanmingyuan. There are cruise ships in summer, and only battery cars can travel in autumn and winter. There are a lot of tourists on weekends, and WC is very dirty. It is simply a hit model of Beijing WC.

The replica of the zodiac beast is kept in Yuanmingyuan. It is not interesting. It is mainly to trick you into buying things. The tourism products are very crude and there is no desire to shop.

Next to the Zodiac Exhibition is Ginkgo Avenue, which is very beautiful and crowded. It leads to the Old Western Scenic Area.

This rattan should be a Beijing characteristic, right? It also exists at the foot of the Great Wall.

We were guided by signs to a lake and walked a lot more. If we were here in summer, the pool of lotus flowers would be extremely beautiful. Of course, there are many fewer people on the lake than on Ginkgo Avenue.

The symbol of Yuanmingyuan-Da Shui Fa requires a separate ticket, which is included in the joint ticket. There are only a few ruins left in the Garden of Thousands of Gardens, which shows the vicissitudes of history in the rustling autumn wind. Before coming to Yuanmingyuan, I suggest checking out the old film "Burning Yuanmingyuan".

If you only go to Dashui Law, it is recommended to enter the East Gate. You can walk a short walk on Ginkgo Avenue to the Dashui Law. There are only buses at the East Gate and no subway.

Compared with the cultural creations of the Forbidden City, the tourism facilities of the Summer Palace and Yuanmingyuan are still in the extensive stage in the 1990s and cannot meet the people's growing needs for material and spiritual civilization. Both parks are large and remote. There are only a few canteens in the park and no restaurants. The tourism products are very crude. It is strongly recommended to learn from the Forbidden City. It has at least 2 restaurants, one with a good environment and a low-priced restaurant/canteen for mass consumption, and one with a beautiful environment, one with a view to the mountains and lakes, with moderate taste/price. If there is also Summer Palace/Yuanmingyuan coffee, Taobao will be perfect.

We are not in a hurry back. We take the T4 at the East Gate to the Hepingmen subway station. We swipe our card for 2 yuan for 20 kilometers. The capital bus is unmatched in price for money. Zhongguancun Avenue is full of ginkgo trees, which is particularly charming in late autumn in Beijing. Zhongguancun is a legend in the history of car tourism entrepreneurship. All the way through Tsinghua High School, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University, Beijing Institute of Technology, University for Nationalities, National Library, Haidian District deserves the reputation of a cultural and educational district. The road conditions are average. Even if there is a special bus lane, it takes an hour to drive and stop all the way. Fortunately, there are seats.

Dinner is served at Huguo Temple snacks, which are Beijing specialties. There are many branches, so everyone can eat nearby.

It's really cheap, with 20 pipes per person, and the environment is not bad. The waiter has been cleaning the table and it's quite clean.

The taste can only be said to be average. Eating casually is a special experience.

Day 5, Dongjiaomin Lane-Eight Hutong, the weather at 17 degrees is as cold as fake

On the last day, Yang and I split up. She went to watch the flag raising and visited the Beihai and Houhai.

I have been there before, had breakfast and checked out, rode my bike around the nearby alleys, and went to my room to remove tiles and drink coffee.

Dongjiaomin Lane is known as the longest alley in Beijing. It starts from Chongwenmen in the east and ends at Tiananmen Square in the west. It has a total length of about 2 kilometers. It has written a rich and colorful story in modern history. It is also one of the few Western-style buildings in Beijing. However, foreign style is not the specialty of the imperial city after all. In Beijing and Siheyuan, cloisonne is more popular.

Today's Dongjiaomin Lane is a quiet small road without public transportation. The old houses are not open to the public and are basically office space. There were slightly more people at the entrance of the former site of the French Postal Museum.

At the end of the ride, a staff member will politely tell you that you cannot ride bicycles near Tiananmen Square. Non-history enthusiasts don't have to come specially. You can stop by and have a look at Tiananmen Square.

Bus stop on Qianmen Street

Bus No. 20 takes two stops. Under Dazhalan, the alley next to it is Bada Hutong. It is a hutong area. It is said that it used to be Huajie and Liuxiang. It is now an ordinary residential area with narrow roads. Fortunately, you can ride bicycles in the alleys. After all, the eight alleys are not big, but not small.

Dazhalan comes and goes. It is very quiet and still retains the original ecological residential area of old Beijing. If the newly renovated Shijia Hutong is a benchmark, the eight major hutongs are authentic residential buildings. Maybe there are no separate sanitary facilities, but the hutongs are very clean and have a lot of WC. There are also many budget hotels hidden away, and it is not so easy to find them specifically.

The main street is a commercial street, similar to old streets in various places.

Berry Beans, known as "going to the house to remove the tiles and drink coffee", are hidden in this alley. The door is small and the shop is not big. There are two options: indoor and rooftop.

I climbed onto the roof first and could only sit at three tables, which were already crowded with girls who were patting. It was 17 degrees in Beijing on this day. The sun was strong, but the wind was strong. I was freezing hard while riding in a down jacket. The girls on the rooftop were all wearing very thin clothes, which were beautiful and freezing.

It's still comfortable to have a cup indoors in this weather. The waiter said that there are two kinds of beans to choose from. I chose the fruity one. The taste is complicated. I'll still drink the normal one in the future. Napoleon is good, his consumption level is not low, and he has to pay first

There is also an expensive clothing store in the small courtyard, which is quite beautiful. There are many cafes in Beijing where you can rent houses and unveil tiles, so everyone should choose nearby.
