Going to Beijing has always been one of the tourist destinations that my mother and adults have been longing for, and I finally found free time this year. After the "Sanya trip" during the winter vacation, I finally plan to go to Beijing this summer vacation. The reason why I am reluctant to put Beijing on my trip is very simple. Someone told me more than once that when traveling in Beijing, I see people following the crowd... The hot weather and hearing such bloody storms, so I made strategies and felt magnificent.
DAY1: Departure → Hotel check-in → Temple of Heaven 1.5h~ 2h → Wangfujing 3h
The 8 a.m. high-speed train departs on time from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station → its destination Beijing South Railway Station. Passing through Nanjing South Railway Station and Jinan Railway Station, the 4-hour and 28-minute high-speed rail journey made the two elderly people feel very satisfied and felt that the high-speed rail is much more comfortable than the plane. Arriving at Beijing South Railway Station around 12:30, I wanted to follow the online advice and buy a Beijing transportation card, but I didn't see the service center at the high-speed rail station, so I queued up to buy tickets. [Facts have proved that downloading "Yi Tong" is enough, and taking the subway is no problem.]
Straight to the hotel to drop off my luggage. I chose [Guomao Yaduo (Jinsong Store)] for accommodation, 4 stars, with an average of RMB 744 per night, excluding breakfast. I think the price is slightly expensive, but I want to make my parents stay more comfortable, and it's better that it was newly opened in 19 years, and the facilities are relatively new. Facts have proved to be the right choice. Change subway line 14 to Jinsong Station, get off the subway and walk for about 10 minutes. Very convenient, the hotel is at the junction of the traffic lights. It is very quiet at night. The only fly in the ointment is that the windows of the room face the excavation site behind. But there was no construction on the construction site, only a big pit was dug. Opposite is a lifestyle supermarket that is open 24 hours a day. There are snacks and delicious food on the left and right streets. [Juewei Duck Neck, Holiland, Master Bao, stewed rice, wonton, fast food, breakfast, etc.], solve the problem of not having enough food and clothing.
Take a break, go out and walk for 10 minutes, and take the bus to the Temple of Heaven, the first stop on the journey to Beijing. There are not many people on the bus, and Tiantan personally feels that it is okay. After shopping around the West Gate, there is the "Special 11" bus directly. I wanted to go to Dazhalan to taste delicious food, but my parents still wanted to go to Wangfujing. Okay, let's get off at Wangfujing. Personally, I think Wangfujing is similar to our Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Dinner was settled at Quanjude (Wangfujing Store). We went up at around 5:30 without queuing. We just waited for two tables and ordered half a duck, one vegetable, two meat dishes, and one steamed egg. 420 yuan, plus a 10% service charge. By the time we came out after 7 o'clock, there was already a long line at the door, so we had to eat roast duck early if we wanted to eat it. After walking around Wangfujing, we will take the bus back to the hotel, rest early, and prepare for Tiananmen Square tomorrow morning.
PS: The software used to take the subway in Beijing is [Yitongtong], and the software used to take the public transportation is [Beijing Public Transportation].[Beijing Public Transportation] is still in the trial operation stage. If you want to use it in the APP and apply it, you will be given the next day. You can use it directly. I basically relied on these two apps for my five-day transportation there.
DAY2: Tiananmen Square 0.5h→ Mao Zedong Memorial Hall (Great Hall of the People, National Museum) 3.5h→ Tiananmen Gate Tower 10min→ Forbidden City 3h
I wanted to go to Tiananmen Square in the morning to watch the flag-raising ceremony, but my body said that I didn't want to get up and gave up decisively. When I go out at 8 o'clock, I still travel by bus without changing. I will arrive at [Tiananmen West Station] at 9 o'clock. I get off and follow the crowd through the security check of Tiananmen Square and enter the side of Tiananmen Gate. After passing the security check, I will get off the underground passage on the right side and you will reach Tiananmen Square, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Great Hall of the People, and National Museum of China across the road. My parents wanted to see Grandpa Mao, so they decisively rushed to the gate of the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall to line up. You can't carry bags, water and other flammable, explosive and dangerous things when you pay tribute. I stayed to look at the bags and asked my mother to accompany my father to see them. Three hours after queuing, the two old people came back. Go through the underground passage, pass through the Tiananmen Gate, and arrive at the [Wumen Gate]. The lunch problem was solved at the fast food restaurant at the Wumen Gate. After swiping the ticket to enter the Forbidden City, we only visited the middle line of the Forbidden City and did not go to the east and west lines since our parents had been exposed to the scorching sun for 3 hours. After leaving Shenwu Gate, I wanted to sign up for a rickshaw tour at the door, but my mother was exhausted and just wanted to go back to the hotel to "lie down on Ge You", so we didn't even make it to Jingshan Park and took the bus directly back to the hotel.
PS: Tickets for the Forbidden City must be bought in advance, buy in advance, buy in advance! The important thing is said three times. You can still enter morning shows after 12 o'clock, but afternoon shows must not be entered in the morning. The Forbidden City is restricted and tickets will be sold out by noon. Also, the Great Wall must also buy tickets in advance. At 9:32 on the day I went, the tickets were sold out. Current restriction is 65,000 people. Many people on our shuttle bus didn't get tickets and returned disappointed. They didn't even allow them to ride on the cable car.
DAY3: Ming Tombs 1.5h→ Great Wall (5 hours round trip, 2 hours to attractions) → Olympic Park (Bird's Nest, Water Cube) 2h
Due to the long journey to the Great Wall, I chartered a car to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs today.[The car was booked with the travel agency, 750 yuan a day. There are also suggestions for private cars, but I was afraid of safety issues and didn't consider it.] We set off at 7:30 and bought cooked food, fruits, dry food, etc. at the lifestyle supermarket opposite the hotel. The road was very congested, so my original idea was to go to the Great Wall first and come back to the Ming Tombs. Later, due to an accident on the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, we went to the Ming Tombs first. After all, it was a tomb and I didn't take any photos.
Considering my limited physical strength, the Great Wall chose to go back and forth with a cable car and climbed Haohan Slope. Of course, I didn't see much scenery and was full of people. The eighth beacon tower was sealed off. Many people stood on it to take photos. I was afraid of heights, so I didn't go up. Look at the flow of people coming down. It's still very difficult to climb up Haomanpo. Both top and bottom require physical strength. [It is recommended to wear sports shoes]. My father and I, one sandals and the other sandals, were obviously not as quick as my mother's sneakers. The old lady showed her wise side at this critical moment.
Eat cooked food to solve food and clothing, go uphill, stop, appreciate, go downhill, rest and adjust, and line up for cable cars.
After getting off the Great Wall, I felt that I wasn't done enough. I watched a 9D movie at Universal Studios, but I didn't recommend it. There was nothing to watch. The spherical screen made my old lady a little dizzy...
We came back and asked the driver to take us to the Olympic Park to see the Water Cube, Bird's Nest, Olympic Tower, and National Stadium.
PS: If you are driving on the Great Wall by car, you can drive to the entrance at around 5 or 6 o'clock, where you can drive the car to the top directly by taking the cable car or hiking up the mountain. At other times, I can only park it in the parking lot below. The parking lot is 10 yuan a day, and then take a free shuttle bus to the entrance. Personally, I find it very convenient.
DAY4: Gong Wangfu 2-3h→ Shichahai Hutong Tour 0.5 h → Yuanmingyuan 3h → Peking University and Tsinghua University 0.5 h
I still went out at 8 o'clock and arrived at Gong's Mansion. I could buy tickets by scanning the QR code. Three highlights: the entire wall on the back of the Buddha Building where treasures are hidden (the windows are different in color, indicating that different treasures are hidden), the only remaining arched stone door (it seems that I can't remember it clearly), and the "blessing" of the emperor's own inscription (you need to queue for about 15 minutes to enter the rockery and touch it).
After leaving the Gong Mansion, we walked in the direction of Guo Moruo's former residence. Hu Tongyou had a choice. Of course, you can bargain with your brother. We traveled around in a rickshaw. The master was very enthusiastic, spoke in great detail, and had a Beijing flavor. Get off the bus at the station and walk forward to Mei Lanfang's former residence and Huguo Temple snacks. The master said: Huguo Temple snacks are more authentic and look like Beijing flavors. But we had to rush to Yuanmingyuan, so we didn't go there. Go directly to Yuanmingyuan by subway at Beihai North Railway Station.
We walked all the way in Yuanmingyuan until we reached the "Xiyanglou Ruins". On the way back, we saw the "Sand Table Model of the Whole Yuanmingyuan". On the way back, we took a small boat to the exit and walked out. The small boat swam in the lotus pond. The artistic conception is still very beautiful. Of course, if you don't have enough physical strength, you can actually choose to cruise in and cruise out. Because the garden is big, it really tests physical strength and endurance.
Yuanmingyuan is over, go to Tsinghua University and Peking University to have a look. If you want to visit Tsinghua University and Peking University, you can make an appointment on the Weixin Official Accounts [Visit Peking University] and [Visit Tsinghua University]. During my visit, Tsinghua University had activities that were not open to the public, and Peking University did not make an appointment. So he could only watch from the door twice. Three bicycles were driven at the bus stop at the gate of Yuanmingyuan. When riding east, the first thing you saw was Tsinghua University. Turning right at the traffic light, you would be riding ahead for about 10 minutes.
DAY5: Summer Palace 3.5h→ Going Home
The last stop, the Summer Palace, arrived at around 7:30. The luggage was stored in the storage office next to the station. Small boxes were 30 yuan a day and large boxes were 40 yuan a day. You can also bargain with the boss. But what cannot change is that the charge is this, whether it is for one day or half a day.
The Summer Palace opens at 6:30, but the Suzhou Street inside does not open until 8:30. I am glad that I queued at the door for ten minutes and went in for a walk at the time, because when we came out at 11:30, Suzhou Street was really crowded.
The Summer Palace looks like this: the gate faces Wanshou Mountain, and behind it is Kunming Lake. Only along Kunming Lake are the 17th Arch Bridge and Wenchang Pavilion (my father thinks this is similar to the West Lake Su Embankment). In the middle of Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake is a corridor. You can cross the mountain, or you can go around it. After we crossed the Wanshou Mountain, we chose a boat tour of Kunming Lake for 30 yuan per person to the Seventeenth Arch Bridge. Then come back and walk along the lake, bypass Wanshou Mountain, and reach the gate. If you have enough time, you can choose to charter a boat to tour the lake, seat 6 people, 80 yuan per hour, and a deposit of 400 yuan. You can enjoy the lake comfortably and find out how the Queen Mother felt back then.
Leave the garden at 12 o'clock, have lunch at Beijing South Railway Station, and return home.
PS: Tiananmen Square, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and Forbidden City are closed on Mondays. So there will be a lot of people on the Great Wall on Monday. If there are many people at the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, there will be no queues around 11 o'clock.
The Great Wall and the Forbidden City must buy tickets in advance because of current restrictions, current restrictions, current restrictions. (Of course, it may also be due to summer vacation, other times are unclear)
