At 19:00 on March 26, when the "Ghost Market" in Panjiayuan, Beijing opened for the first time, a group of Tibetan friends and old Wenwan who came to buy goods with flashlights came one after another. Every Friday from 19:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, the "Night View of Treasures and Ghost Market Treasures" event will be opened regularly at the Panjiayuan Sold Goods Market. This "ghost market" upgrade has made the opening time longer.

Panjiayuan Market has a history of nearly 30 years, and its birth can be said to have begun in the "ghost market". In the mid-to-late 1980s, some spontaneous scattered stalls began to appear on a piece of idle land to be built on Jinsong South Road. By the beginning of 1992, there were dozens of stalls. As the scale continues to expand and gradually moves to the south of Jinsong South Road, nearly a hundred stalls have become the prototype of Panjiayuan Market. Today, it has become a new night scene in Beijing.

Panjiayuan Sold Goods Market is a market with a wide range of operations, covering an area of 48,500 square meters. Located at the southeast corner of Beijing's Third Ring Road, it is the largest flea market in China. Shops, merchants and greenhouses are open all year round. There are more than 3,000 stalls in total for cultural relics, calligraphy and painting, four treasures of literature, porcelain and wooden furniture. In 24 provinces, cities, autonomous regions, people from more than a dozen ethnic groups including the Han and Hui have set up stalls here.

The main items operated in the market include jewelry and jade, antique furniture, four treasures of the study, ancient books and paintings, old books and periodicals, and daily necessities. It is a great place to buy and appreciate antique and secondhand goods, handicrafts, collectibles and decorations. There is a Gemstone Identification Center of Peking University in the market that can issue authoritative certificates or provide consultation for jewelry and jade on the spot. The market has been called by the news media as "the country's largest flea market","the country's largest collectibles market with the most complete categories", and "the country's largest distribution center for folk crafts".
