Since the outbreak of the epidemic, I have hardly left the house. This year, I was really overwhelmed and decided to take a short trip to Beijing for a stroll on May Day. I originally planned to eat on the evening of the 30th, but as a result, my son's school had an early holiday, and my boss granted the leave one day in advance, so... we took a train to Beijing on the evening of the 29th. However, this decision was later practiced and found out that it was a wrong decision. He was not a young man in his twenties and should not take the night train. Even if it was a soft sleeper, it was not okay. I didn't fall asleep all night and lay down until dawn.

Arriving in Beijing on the 30th, I donated it to Happy Valley on the first day. This decision was wise and not to refuse. We arrived at the West Railway Station at 7:30 in the morning, and the subway went directly to Lavande Hotel near Happy Valley. We checked in, had breakfast, and headed straight to Happy Valley.

We entered the park at about 9:30, and many of the facilities were not open. We went to line up to wait for the family roller coaster. It was said to be the least scary roller coaster in the park, but I almost scared to death when I sat down. The second one went up and played a rafting. These two projects almost killed me, so much so that I said no to all the facilities behind it! There was no choice. Later, I lined up with my child for all the projects, and he went up and played by himself. Other than being a little afraid of playing the Sun Tower, this child had no feelings about anything else.

The children had a great time during this one-day trip to Happy Valley. To sum up, the following points are worth paying attention to: 1. Choose the project that suits you, and I will end up with excessive stimulation. 2. Go as early as possible and give priority to big projects. The queue time for the roller coasters, rafting, jungle trains and so on we played in the morning should not exceed 20 minutes; in the afternoon, when the children brush the car for the second time, the queue will start for an hour. 3. There is KFC in the park, so the food is okay, but it is best to go off the peak. There are too many wives! 4. There is a small train around the park that is charged at the entrance, which can be taken when you are too tired; the train runs slowly, and I don't know whether the scenery is good or not, because I slept on it hard, and the children received very good feedback. 5. If you plan to play for a day, it is best to choose a hotel nearby because it is very tired. 6. The last item is about rain ponchos. Our first water event was rafting. We bought a rain ponchos for our son for the park. It was long enough and wrapped him well. We put two plastic bags on the outside of our shoes. My rain ponchos were given by the park. I wrapped two of them around me, so that the aunt who was on the boat with us said,"Are you wearing plastic wrap around it?" I cried out!!! The conclusion is that if you can bring it yourself, you must bring it yourself. It is best to bring a shoe cover. They are quite expensive in the park.

DAY2: The next day, we went to the Lego Explore World in Tianjie, Chaoyang District. As a Lego fan, my son has been longing for this place for a long time. After we changed hotels (Quanji Tianjie Store) in the morning, we entered the park at ten o'clock on time. Tickets were booked by Ctrip, making it very convenient to enter the park. It's not as big as I thought. There are activities all day long, but you need to make an appointment in advance. The perception is not bad, but the point is that the child is very happy. One thing I admire very much about my son is that as long as he likes something, no matter how bad the environment is or whether it is crowded or not, he can make himself happy.

DAY3: Our goal on the third day is to go to the Forbidden City. We bought tickets for the afternoon show online in advance. Coming to the Forbidden City on May Day was really the biggest mistake. I walked more than 30,000 steps that day and I was exhausted. It's not that there are many people in the Forbidden City, but that the east and west stations of Tiananmen Square are closed, and no subway or bus can pass through. My son and I walked here from Xidan. It was a terrible experience. When he went to the mall at night, his son asked the shoe seller's aunt wherever he went: Which pair of shoes would make his feet hurt when walking. My heart aches! Talk about the Forbidden City: Personally, apart from the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the most worth seeing is the Treasure Hall. The cultural relics inside are really good! But next time I go, I will definitely hire a tour guide (note that it is not an explanation device) to tell the historical story here, otherwise I will find it boring and incomprehensible.

DAY4: I originally planned to go to the World Park today (the scenic spot my son named to visit), but because I walked too much yesterday, my child's feet were paralyzed, so I took the initiative to change to a more relaxed place today. So, we came to Beihai Park for boating, wanting to experience the beauty of making us paddle. We arrived at the park around 12 o'clock, and it took us more than 20 minutes to queue up for the four-person battery boat. It was the fastest in the team. It was 140 yuan an hour. The price was acceptable. We swam all the places we could go on on the lake. I calculated the time to play, but there was enough time to go back. The most stupid thing was that I didn't consider the wind speed (when going out, the boat was fast, and when going back, the boat was going slowly). It almost lasted for more than an hour. My son was smart and rushed to refund the card at the last minute. Oh, my God! An additional hour will be deducted for overtime.

In the evening, I made an appointment with my brother's family, but I didn't make an appointment to come together. I happened to see the two little children playing happily until eleven o'clock, crying when they parted.

DAY 5: I am going back this afternoon. I made a reservation at the National Museum in the morning. When I passed Tiananmen Square, I took a set of photos for my child to record this trip to the capital. I have a special feeling for Tiananmen Square. Every time I come to Beijing, I am willing to come here and have a look. I feel very comfortable after reading it.

There are not many people in the National Expo. After all, they all come in by appointment, and there are restrictions on the flow of people at the entrance. The content that the child was most interested in was the science and technology exhibition, but he didn't understand much about the rest. He, an uneducated mother, couldn't explain the meaning of it.

What I am most interested in is this set of jewelry and this embroidery work, and I like it very much.

On the return journey, we bought tickets for the high-speed rail, the Fuxing. It only takes two hours from Beijing to Hohhot. This speed is amazing.

Summarize the experience and lessons of this trip: In the future, when there are holidays across the country, try not to go out. There are too many people and the roads are too blocked. If you must go out, you will never go near a closed road or a closed station. It's all about your legs to get rid of the car, which is too taxing. We walked a total of 100,000 steps in five days. The children persisted on their own, and the transportation methods basically relied on subways and buses. Such a hard journey, when the child was about to leave Beijing, he actually held the subway card and said with emotion: Goodbye to Beijing. I don't know when I will come next time. I really don't want to leave. This is my child. No matter how hard it is, no matter how tired it is. As long as I like it, I can persist to the end.
