Hassan's song "The Most Beautiful in the World" and later "The Most Beautiful Grassland in the World" sung by Solang Tashi sang all over the scenery of Keshiketeng Banner in Inner Mongolia. I visited Ulan Butong when I went to Bashang a few years ago. There was not enough time to visit other scenic spots in Keshiketeng Banner. Last year, the Keshiketeng Stone Forest Scenic Area was upgraded to a national 5A-level scenic spot, which makes it even more necessary to go. A few days before the Mid-Autumn Festival, our daughter-in-law suddenly said that they would take a day off and take the baby to Taiyuan and Pingyao in Shanxi for a four-day trip during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, so we had more than four days to travel. I originally considered going to Jiangxi. Looking at the weather forecast that there would be rain in Jiangxi, I made careful calculations and decided to go to Keshiketeng, visit Lugou Bridge and Wanping Ancient City, which I had never been to, and visit Uncle Tang in Beijing.
The specific itinerary is: fly from Guangzhou to Beijing Nanyuan Airport on the first night, fly from Nanyuan Airport to Chifeng on the morning of the next day, rent a car from Chifeng to visit the Daqingshan Scenic Area in Keshiketeng, and then go to Reshui Town to stay and soak in the hot spring. On the third day, drive through the Huanggang Lianglin Sea to visit the Keshiketeng Stone Forest Scenic Area, and then drive through the Gongger Grassland to Dali Lake to stay. On the fourth day, we visited Dali Lake early and went to Jingpeng Town, where the Keshiketeng Banner is located, for lunch at noon. Then we drove back to Chifeng. After browsing the Chifeng city for a while, we returned to the airport and took a plane to Beijing Nanyuan. We took a taxi to stay near Lugou Bridge. On the morning of the fifth day, I visited Lugou Bridge. In the afternoon, I had planned to visit my uncle but failed, so I took a taxi to the Capital Airport to stay. I flew back to Guangzhou early on the sixth day.
Since it was just a couple of us traveling, the expenses were relatively casual. In addition, car rental and accommodation during the Mid-Autumn Festival were relatively expensive, so there was no reference for newcomers in terms of expenses, so we will not list them.
After my daughter bought a ticket for travel at 20:30 on the evening of September 11, we bought a ticket from Guangzhou to Beijing Nanyuan Airport at 21:35, and booked the Nanyuan Hotel at Ctrip, which can pick up and drop off the plane. That afternoon, I took my grandson home from kindergarten in advance. After serving his dinner, I took him to the airport on the subway. On the way, he met with his daughter who was off work, and then met with his son-in-law who was off work at the north of the airport. After that, the family of three took the plane at Terminal T1, and we returned to Terminal T2. Arrived at Nanyuan Airport at about 12:30, took the hotel's pick-up car to the hotel, and didn't rest until after 1 o'clock.
Get up at 4:30 in the morning, pack up, take the hotel shuttle that leaves at 5 o'clock and return to Nanyuan Airport. Take the United Airlines flight at 6:30 to Chifeng. After picking up the train at the airport, we head directly to the direction of Keshiketeng Banner. Based on the actual time, we decided to go to the Daqingshan Scenic Area first.
Near twelve o'clock, I arrived at "Wudong Station", a farm not far from the Daqingshan Scenic Area. I had lunch there and then went to the scenic area.
Daqingshan Mountain in Keqi is the most distinctive tourist attraction in Inner Mongolia and one of the nine major parks of the World Geopark in Keshiketeng Banner. The scenic spot has the largest alpine cableway in Inner Mongolia and is known as the "most pictographic stone in Inner Mongolia". The main landscapes of the scenic spot include the fourth season glacier remains rock mortars, pictograms, peak forests, and alpine meadows in Inner Mongolia. Just like the lyrics of "The Most Beautiful Grassland in the World" sing,"The most beautiful scenery in the world is standing on the top of the green mountains." Looking inside is a large alpine meadow with strange rocks. Looking down the mountain, you can see green peaks and endless. The most amazing thing is that there is a stone mortar under a huge stone. Where did the huge stone come from? How is the stone mortar under the huge stone formed? There is no scientific explanation, so it is called the "mystery of the world".
After coming out of the Daqingshan Scenic Area, I saw that time still allowed and decided to go to the Reshuitang Hot Spring. I immediately went to Ctrip and booked a room with a hot spring pool in the "Tianmu Hot Spring Reception Center of Keshiketeng Banner". It takes more than an hour to drive to Tianmu Hot Spring Town on Keshiketeng Grassland in Reshuitang Town. This hot spring town is quite beautiful. It is separated from the main area of Reshuitang Town by a small river, but except for the Grassland Tianmu Hot Spring, the other houses are empty and not rented out. What needs to be complained about is that this hotel is very inhumane for guests staying in it. It takes more than 200 meters to walk from the parking lot to the hotel lobby, and there are more than ten steps to climb. The "soup house" we stayed in was even more depressed. After carrying luggage to the lobby to complete the formalities, we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. After passing through the restaurant on the second floor, we went down one and a half stairs. I don't know how it was designed?
For dinner, I walked a few hundred meters to the restaurant in Reshuitang Town for dinner. I ordered a chicken stewed with wild mushrooms and two Dali Lake Chinese fish. Huazi fish is said to be unique to Dali Lake (Dali Lake is a closed inland saltwater lake. Because the recharge amount is less than the evaporation amount, the lake water is becoming more and more alkaline, so many fish in the lake have disappeared. There are only two kinds of fish that survive, one of which is Huazi fish.) Because we are fishing in winter, we can't eat live fish. They are all frozen. The fish are not big and are fried. At night, I took a soak in the hot spring in the pool in my room.
After breakfast at the hotel, I visited the hot spring area (it was not yet open). There were still many hot spring pools, both outdoor and indoor, and there was also a swimming pool, which should be quite good in the north. Due to time constraints, I had to leave for the next destination.
Soon after we got on the road, we passed through the "Very Black Village", which became an Internet celebrity attraction because of its special name. There seem to be many farmhouses opened in the village. We were short of time and didn't stay. We just took pictures at the entrance of the village.
Moving forward, the car climbed a mountain. Looking down from the top of the mountain is the "Vast Yellow Gang, Liang and Forest Sea" in the song. Passing through the Huanggangliang Forest Farm and continuing north, we arrived at the national 5A-level scenic spot-the Hashatu Stone Forest Park of the Keshiketeng World Geopark (also known as the Keshiketeng Stone Array). Although God seemed unfriendly, we decided to go in. There are scenic spots No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the park, with scenic spots connected between them. We visited three scenic spots 1, 2 and 3, and bought a bowl of noodles for lunch in the scenic spots. The weather also began to clear up and we finished swimming around 2:30 in the afternoon. The Ashatu Stone Forest is a relic of the Quaternary glacier. It has been carved by wind and sand for millions of years and is inlaid on the vast grassland. The stones of different shapes can be imagined at will.
Set the GPS to the scenic spot on the north bank of Dali Lake, and along the Dada Line known as the "Prairie Sky Road", we appreciated the "most beautiful" Gongger Grassland along the way. Although "the most beautiful in the world" is a bit exaggerated, the Gonggar Grassland is indeed very beautiful. The herds of cattle and sheep and the endless grassland make people feel relaxed and relaxed. At around five o'clock, you will arrive at the gate of the North Shore Scenic Area of Dali Lake. Next to the gate is the hotel. After staying at the hotel, you can overlook Dali Lake from the window of your room. Dinner was settled at the hotel, but I still ordered two Chinese fish, exactly the same way as the day before.
In the morning, buy a ticket and drive into the scenic spot, transfer to a sightseeing bus at the sightseeing station to the lake. After strolling around the lake, I didn't find any highlights. Then I took a sightseeing bus to the bird watching corridor. Unfortunately, there were no impressive birds this season. Across the bird-watching corridor is a large wetland covered with reeds, which is very spectacular. We took photos while walking along the wooden plank road in the wetland, and finally walked back to where we parked.
Drive to visit the Keshiketen World Geopark Museum not far away, and then drive to Jingpeng Town for lunch. I still ordered two Chinese fish. After a few days, the meal in Jingpeng Town tasted the best and was the most cost-effective. The "milk chewy" made with milk and fried millet is very delicious, and the Chinese fish is also better than the previous two.
After lunch, I drove back to Chifeng Airport. It was still early when I got to Chifeng City, so I drove around Chifeng City to enjoy the city appearance. Then we need to refuel, return the car, and fly to Beijing Nanyuan Airport at 6:30 p.m. After arriving at Beijing Nanyuan Airport, I waited for a taxi for more than half an hour. After getting into the taxi and listening to the driver, I realized that it was a rehearsal for the National Day military parade. Many roads were closed, so many taxis simply took a break, making it difficult to get a taxi. Take the taxi directly to the Hanting Chain Hotel near Lugou Bridge.
In the morning, take a taxi to the east gate of Wanping Ancient City. Wanping City is east of Lugou Bridge. During the Chongzhen period of the late Ming Dynasty (1638), it was built in three years to prevent peasant troops from attacking the capital. It was originally a military camp, and later gradually moved to Shangsi residential buildings. It was called Gongbei City and Gongji City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. On July 7, 1937, the Japanese invading army conducted provocative exercises near the Lugou Bridge, and then provoked incidents and bombarded Wanping City. This was the famous "July 7 Incident" in history, and China's all-out War of Resistance Against Japan broke out.
I always thought that the Lugou Bridge was north of Beijing, but I didn't realize that it was in the southwest corner of Beijing until I did my homework this time. The doubts came again. Before the "July 7th Incident", the Japanese army only occupied the three northeastern provinces, and North China was still China's. How could there be Japanese troops in the southwest corner of Peiping (I believe many people will have the same doubts)? I searched the Internet for a long time, and it turned out that this was a good thing done by Cixi Lafayette! When the Eight-Power Allied Forces captured Beijing, Empress Dowager Cixi fled westward in panic with Emperor Guangxu. In the end, he signed the most humiliating "Xin Chou Treaty" with the great powers. In addition to huge reparations, the "Xin Chou Treaty" actually allowed foreign troops to be stationed in Beijing and 12 strategic locations along the route from Beijing to Shanhaiguan. This treaty, which humiliated the country, introduced the Japanese army with wolf ambitions into the core area of North China. Japan thus established the "Chinese Garrison Army (also known as the North China Garrison Army)" and has been secretly increasing its troops. By the "July 7th Incident", the "Chinese Garrison Army" had increased to more than 20,000 people. It was the 3rd Brigade of the 1st Wing of the Infantry Brigade of the Chinese Garrison Army stationed in the Fengtai area of Peiping that made the "Lugouqiao Incident".
After entering Wanping City, walk west along the main street. There is the "Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Memorial Hall" in the center of the city. After visiting the "Memorial Hall", continue westward. The west gate out of the city is the famous Lugou Bridge. There are not many historic sites in Wanping City, but the Lugou Bridge retains most of its original features, and the lions on some bridge decks and guardrails are historic sites. The lions on the guardrails are different, and there are also one or a few small lions of different sizes and shapes under many large lions, so there are "countless lions on Lugou Bridge." This allegorical saying.
We came out from the west end of Lugou Bridge and walked more than one kilometer back to our hotel. The afternoon was originally reserved to visit my uncle in Beijing, but due to various reasons, it could not be connected. So after checking out at noon, we went to the "Qingfeng Steamed Bun" restaurant next to the hotel for lunch, and then took a taxi to a hotel near the Capital International Airport to stay and rest.
I came out at 5 o'clock in the morning and took the hotel's delivery locomotive to the airport, and took the early flight back to Guangzhou at 6:30 to end the trip.
