Qianmen Dazhalan has now become a pedestrian street built during the Republic of China. There are many time-honored brands on the street, such as pickled pork from Yueshengzhai, tea from Qinglin Chun Tea House, photos from Dabei Photo Studio, second-hand ancient books from Chinese bookstores, roast duck from Quanjude, textiles from Yizhao Shopping Mall, dried fruits from Tongsanyi Dry Fruit and Seafood Shop, silk from Ruianxiang, jade from Shangzhenge, tea from Wu Yutai, and shoes from Neiliansheng. You can really stroll around.

Xiangshan Park

Xiangshan's red leaves are well-known at home and abroad. In 1986, it was rated as one of the 16 scenic spots in New Beijing and became the strongest autumn color in the capital. Every late autumn season (mid-October to mid-November), tens of thousands of Chinese and foreign tourists gather in Xiangshan to enjoy the autumn colors.

I arrived at Xiangshan in early November and climbed the mountain, shouting,"Where are my red leaves?"

I found a random stall in the park for breakfast and ate a bowl of noodles

This is really the reddest tree I have ever seen.

The highest point of Xianglu Peak is 557 meters above sea level. It is the highest point in Xiangshan Park. It is commonly known as Ghost Jianchou because of its steep terrain and difficulty in climbing. From the peak, you can have a panoramic view of Xiangshan Mountain

There is a Biyun Temple at the foot of the mountain, which requires additional money. Perhaps because of this, the number of people is much less crowded and the scenery is quiet. There is a particularly large ginkgo tree inside, with fan-like leaves shining in the sun

At noon, I still went back to the small shop where I had breakfast in the morning and simply settled my lunch.

It took nearly four hours to go up and down the mountain, and in the end, I realized that there were a few red leaves at the foot of the mountain that I was longing for. Are the red leaves covered by forests all over the mountains and plains on the promotional video only lucky enough to see it in late autumn? It can only be regarded as a small regret.
