preface

The memory of Beijing stems from the green train I rode ten years ago. At that time, he was still in an ignorant and unknown childhood. He followed his family on a long green leather cart and traveled long distances to the capital. Although it is a long time ago, Beijing has left a deep impression on it. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Wangfujing... the style of the capital is vividly remembered. I always wanted to find an opportunity to go again.

Finally, ten years later, it was the 70th National Day of the motherland. Under the pressure of overcrowding, we once again embarked on a trip to the capital.

After ten years, everything became blurred. I made some strategies for this trip and prepared for free travel. In the end, I chose to find a guide. After all, it was seven days long and there was a guide, but it was still the same as free travel, except that I didn't have to trouble arranging the itinerary. Everything was arranged by him. I was very satisfied with this trip. I would like to thank the guide pillar here: YST121520

Duration: 6 days and 5 nights

First stop: Weighing the first best landscape-Gong Wangfu

During the National Day holiday period, Gong Wangfu did not sell tickets offline. The only way is to buy online. There are many security service personnel at the entrance of Prince Gong's Mansion, holding signs with QR codes to facilitate tourists to scan the code and buy tickets. This is very human. But not long after, the security staff's sign changed to "Tickets sold out today."

Of course, we have made arrangements to enter directly

Gong's Mansion was originally He Shen's home. Thanks to Teacher Wang Gang's wonderful acting skills, He Shen has become a household name. The reason why it was called Gong's Mansion was because this house later became the residence of Prince Gong.

Gong Wang's Mansion is extremely particular about its location and architecture. Feng Shui was popular in ancient times, and it is rumored that there are two dragon veins. One is the earth dragon vein of the Forbidden City, and the other is the water dragon vein of the Houhai area. The Gong Mansion is just above the dragon vein.

In addition, the building scale of Gong Wang Mansion is large and its architectural standards are high. I am afraid only the Forbidden City can compete with it. Moreover, it witnessed the Qing Dynasty's process from its peak to its decline. Therefore, some people say that a Gong Wang Mansion is half of the history of the Qing Dynasty.

If there is one word to describe Gong Wangfu, it will be: blessing.

Blessing culture runs through the entire Gong Mansion. Walking in Gong's Mansion, you can see lanterns with the word "Fu" hanging under the houses everywhere. Bright red blessing cards and red ribbons rippled in the wind. Even the pool in the mansion is related to blessings. Viewed from a high altitude, the pool is in the shape of a bat. Bats are the same as blessing, which means blessing.

The most eye-catching thing is the Fuzi Monument in Miyun Cave. It is known as the best blessing in the world. It is said that you will be blessed by touching it. During this National Day period, if you want to enter the cave and touch it, you need to queue for half an hour.

In Gong Wang's Mansion, in addition to feeling the blessing culture, you can also feel its leisurely and open-minded side. The lake-center pavilion in the pool is like the lake-center pavilion in the West Lake. It is surrounded by lotus flowers, making sitting in it extremely comfortable.

In the vegetable garden, you can also see various vegetables grown in the fields, which looks very down-to-earth. This is a commonly used landscaping technique in royal gardens in the Qing Dynasty. The purpose is to experience the farming life of farmers and express the importance they attach to farming civilization. It can be said that the royal family took great pains to experience people's livelihood.

However, this also made the palace less cold and lofty. It is more like a leisure place for people in the city, friendly and peaceful.

The ups and downs that occurred in this palace back then have become a thing of the past. What is left behind is a precious wealth full of history for us descendants to appreciate and recall.

Second stop: The royal garden is still there today-Summer Palace

The first time I learned about the Summer Palace was from elementary school textbooks. At that time, the Summer Palace and Yuanmingyuan were often confused. I only remembered the pictures in the textbooks and the Summer Palace in the picture had a long bridge.

The Summer Palace is in the western suburbs of Beijing, adjacent to Yuanmingyuan, Tsinghua University and Peking University. It can be said that the geographical location is extremely advantageous.

I checked and found that if you take the subway to Beigong Gate, you can reach the north gate of the Summer Palace. Walking into the north gate is Wanshou Mountain. The mountain is not high, only more than 50 meters. Climbing to the top of the mountain, you can see a panoramic view of the western suburbs of Beijing.

There are many buildings on Wanshou Mountain, especially Xizang Buddhist buildings, which are full of a strong sense of religion. These buildings perfectly interpret Beijing's classic hues: red walls and orange tiles.

Go down from Wanshou Mountain and you will reach the corridor. This is the longest corridor I have ever seen, and it is also the longest corridor in the world certified by Genis. Every beam in the corridor is painted with color painting, and the content of each color painting is different. The landscape, flowers, birds, fish and insects, characters and allusions... make people sigh with the genius of the designer. During the National Day holiday, it happened to be a place for tourists to stop. The promenade of more than 700 meters is full of tourists.

Opposite the corridor is Kunming Lake. Maybe after staying in Hangzhou for a long time, I can't help but think of West Lake.

Compared with the elegance of West Lake, there is more elegance here. After all, the Summer Palace is a royal garden, which looks exquisite and elegant from the layout structure to the landscape architecture.

Today's Kunming Lake has become a good place for cruise ships. When the sun sets in the west, the lake water is stained with golden light and ripples in the lake, and all troubles disappear.

There is also another famous place in Kunming Lake, the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. This is the "golden light piercing hole" landscape widely circulated in the photography industry. However, it is said that it can only appear around the winter solstice. However, the Seventeen-Arch Bridge with the sunset setting has a different kind of beauty.

The entire Summer Palace has a large area and many historical and cultural attractions. If you visit slowly, you can spend a day. The Summer Palace is just right for a leisurely visit. Slow down here, feel the charm of the royal gardens, and relax the soul.

Third stop: Hutong Remembering Old Beijing Flavors-Beijing Hutong

What is the taste of Beijing? Some people say it is red walls and yellow tiles, while others say it is fried noodles and candied haws. No matter what, there is one thing that cannot be avoided, and that is the hutongs in Beijing.

Hutongs are actually alleys. In Beijing, there are thousands of hutongs. Most of these alleys have a long history and are full of life.

For example, near the Gong Mansion, Dajinsi Hutong, Nanguanfang Hutong, etc. are dotted, making this area full of nostalgia. The afternoon sun shines, and the air looks very lazy. Tourists who come here consciously slow down.

The eight alleys near Hufang Bridge were once a place where fireworks were scattered. Nowadays, I can't see the feeling of those days. All that remains is the chirping of birds in cages and the sound of bells of tricycles whistling past. These sounds remind tourists that Beijing is both modern and ancient.

Tickets: None

Transportation: Eight Hutongs: Metro "Hufang Bridge" Station

Fourth stop: The sound of morning bells and evening drums around the beam-Bell and Drum Tower

Almost every city with historical heritage has a bell tower and a drum tower. For example, Xi'an, Hangzhou, and Ningbo. As a cultural capital, Beijing's Bell and Drum Tower has become a landmark.

Follow the central axis all the way north, and you can see the red Drum Tower from afar. The Drum Tower is located at the intersection of Sancha Road. The towering building is particularly eye-catching among the surrounding tiled houses.

A hundred meters away from the Drum Tower is the Bell Tower. There is an open square between the two buildings. In "My Motherland and I" released some time ago, Ge You's opening scene with his son was filmed here.

For old Beijingers, the morning bells and evening drums are indelible memories. Although the Bell and Drum Tower has long lost its time-telling function, as a historical landmark, it still exudes charm.

Tickets: 30 yuan for joint ticket.

Transportation: Metro "Shichahai" Station

Fifth stop: Eight places, heaven and earth, and the sea are at peace-Temple of Heaven, Temple of Earth

There are 5 altars and temples distributed in the east, west, north and south of the Forbidden City. They are the Temple of Heaven, Earth, Sun, Moon and Xiannong.

The most famous one is the Temple of Heaven.

From the 18th year of Yongle to the present, the Temple of Heaven has gone through 600 years. As a place for emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties to worship heaven and pray for grains, it carries extremely important significance.

Today's Temple of Heaven is, to be precise, Temple of Heaven Park. Nowadays, it is mainly divided into inner altar and outer altar. In the inner altar, there are two northern and southern altars.

To the south is the Circular Mound Altar, where the emperor worshiped heaven. The three-story round altar is exquisite in shape. The Han white jade columns and Ai Yeqing's stone platform together form this sacred altar.

During holidays, you even need to queue up to climb the Round Mound Altar. Everyone queues up to step on the stone slab in the center of the round altar to be blessed.

Going north along the Circular Mound Altar is the famous Echoing Wall, which is the wall of the Imperial Firmament. It is said that if a person speaks softly into the wall, another person more than 100 meters away can hear it clearly on the wall. In physics, this is the refraction of sound.

Unfortunately, the Echo Wall is currently surrounded by guardrails, and the wonders of the Echo Wall can only be experienced through imagination outside. As for why it is surrounded, you can get the answer by visiting all kinds of inscriptions on the wall.

Continuing north, you will arrive at the landmark building of the Temple of Heaven: the Hall of Prayer for Good Years.

The Hall of Prayer for Good Years is not only a symbol of the Temple of Heaven, but also a symbol of Beijing. The majestic Hall of Prayer for New Year is located on the Valley Prayer Altar and is the place where the emperor prayed for grain.

The gilded treasure roof, blue tiles and red columns, and resplendent. Looking up at the Hall of Prayer for New Year from below, a majestic and solemn atmosphere comes to your face.

Compared with the Temple of Heaven, the Temple of Heaven is undoubtedly much more low-key. The Temple of Heaven worships heaven, and the Earth Altar is a place of sacrifice. But the more important significance of the Temple of Earth to Beijingers is that it is a great place for leisure.

The first person to know about Ditan was Shi Tiesheng's article "I and Ditan". The sentence inside,"Earth altar, don't think I have forgotten." I haven't forgotten anything, but some things are only suitable for collection."I still remember them.

Tickets for the Temple of Earth are very people-friendly, only 2 yuan. Perhaps because there are not many check-in points, Ditan Park is mainly a place for nearby residents to take leisure walks. Walking in the park, you can see old people in wheelchairs communicating with each other and chatting under the trees everywhere. Young people walk through Ginkgo Avenue. And I can always imagine the scene of Shi Tiesheng sitting in a wheelchair, thinking about people coming and going in Ditan Park.

It is not as lively and solemn as the Temple of Heaven. Ditan adds a peaceful atmosphere of life. And this is what makes Beijing intoxicating.

Tip:

Tickets: Temple of Heaven 30 yuan, Temple of Earth 2 yuan.

Transportation: Temple of Heaven: Subway Station "Temple of Heaven East Gate". Ditan: Ditan "Heping Li West Street" Station.

Sixth Station: Aerial view of the First Mountain of the Imperial City-Jingshan Park

Where can I get a bird 's-eye view of the spectacular panoramic view of the Forbidden City? The answer is Jingshan Park. Jingshan Park faces the Forbidden City. Although the mountain is not high, it is enough to overlook the Imperial City. Moreover, tickets are the same as Ditan, which are both people-friendly prices of 2 yuan.

When you walk into Jingshan Park, if you want to have a bird's eye view of the Forbidden City, you need to climb up to Wanchun Pavilion. From the Wanchun Pavilion, you can directly see the panoramic view of the Forbidden City to the south. Under the blue sky, the Forbidden City with gold tiles and red walls is solemn and magnificent, with layered eaves and palaces, showing the style of the imperial city.

Looking north, you can see historical buildings such as Di 'anmen and Bell and Drum Tower, and you can see the central axis of the city in a panoramic view. Ancient buildings and modern buildings complement each other and together constitute Beijing, a charming city.

In addition to the Wanchun Pavilion, the crooked necked tree at the foot of the mountain is another famous attraction. This is where Chongzhen, the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, hanged himself. That night 375 years ago, Li Zicheng invaded Beijing, and Chongzhen and eunuch Wang Chengen fled to Jingshan. At that time, Jingshan was still called Meishan. In the end, Chongzhen hanged himself on a crooked neck tree.

Today, the crooked necked tree no longer exists, and the current tree is planted separately. However, the "Where Emperor Sizong of the Ming Dynasty died for the country" engraved on the stele under the tree still makes people feel the sadness of the king's death in the country.

Tickets: 2 yuan.

Transportation: Metro "Nanluogu Lane" Station.

Seventh stop: Outside the Border Pass-Mutianyu Great Wall

This saying has been passed down for a long time. As a symbol of Chinese civilization, when you come to Beijing, you must visit the Great Wall.

There are dozens of Great Walls in Beijing, and the most famous one is Badaling. But precisely because Badaling is so well-known that during holidays every year, the Badaling Great Wall is crowded, making people collapse.

Therefore, this time I asked the guide to not arrange Badaling, but to go to another Mutianyu Great Wall with relatively few people.

Transportation to the Mutianyu Great Wall is not very convenient, but you can take the Mu Bus directly. Of course, the price is quite expensive.

The Mutianyu Great Wall is very well-known abroad, so when you arrive at the Mutianyu Great Wall, you will find that there are most foreign tourists.

There are two ways to get to the Great Wall, either on foot up the mountain or by cableway. In view of my limited physical strength, I chose to go directly from the cableway.

Standing on the Great Wall, you will surely understand why people are so keen on the Great Wall. Looking from afar, you can see undulating mountains and peaks. The Great Wall meanders through the mountains like a giant dragon. The lush trees between the mountains and rivers are dense and desolate. Under the dark clouds, eagles circled over the Great Wall. A sense of vicissitudes of five thousand years comes to your face.

On the Mutianyu Great Wall, you can even look into Beijing from afar. However, basically only the tallest Chinese Zun Building can be seen.

Due to protection factors, the current open area of the Mutianyu Great Wall is not very large, but it is enough to browse. Moreover, the Great Wall is relatively steep, and some slopes are so large that people even need to use hands and feet.

The Great Wall cannot speak, but the Great Wall has its own sense of history. Each wall and brick make people recall ancient and modern times and have infinite reverie.

Tip:

Tickets: 45 yuan.

Transportation: You can take a tourist bus directly.

Eighth stop: Who is the neon flashing? CBD

Beijing is ancient and modern. It has courtyard houses with black tiled eaves and skyscrapers that break through the sky. When you come to Beijing, you also need to experience its modernity.

CCTV building. It was nicknamed "big pants" by netizens a long time ago. But apart from this nickname, the CCTV building is indeed very spectacular. It is located in the core of the CBD and complements the skyscrapers such as China Zun next to it, becoming a new landmark in Beijing.

CCTV Headquarters Building

As the tallest building in Beijing, Chinese Zun is not only a symbol of Beijing, but also a symbol of China. The design of the Ninth Five-Year Plan perfectly instilled the concept of traditional Chinese culture. This majestic building can be seen basically anywhere in downtown Beijing.

As night falls, the CBD turns on neon mode. Beijing's modern quality was immediately highlighted.

Ninth Station: Sunset and Purple Forbidden City-Forbidden City

What is China's architectural symbol? In most people's minds, the Great Wall is one, and the other is the Forbidden City.

The Forbidden City, as the royal palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, was a masterpiece of Chinese civilization. Its geographical location is also unique. Beijing is the center of China, and the Forbidden City is the center of Beijing.

More than 600 years ago, Zhu Di began to build and plan the city of Beijing, and the Forbidden City was also built at this time. In the hundreds of years since then, the Forbidden City has witnessed countless historical events. Whether it is historical status or architectural scale, it can only be described as unique.

With the development of tourism, it has become one of the most popular attractions in the country, or even none.

Tickets to the Forbidden City are only 60 yuan. Compared with the hundreds of scenic spots across the country, it seems extremely conscientious. Online ticket sales are sometimes used during holidays, and you only need to swipe your ID card to enter.

There are many entrances to the Forbidden City. In addition to Tiananmen Square, you can also enter from the side door of the Imperial Ancestral Temple, which can avoid more tourists.

The Meridian Gate is the main entrance of the Forbidden City. In ancient times, the so-called "beheading at the Meridian Gate" and "listening to the decree at the Meridian Gate" referred to here. Under the vermilion tower, a gate and two side doors are symmetrically distributed. The main entrance is usually accessible to the emperor, while the east side door is for civil and military ministers, and the west side door is for the royal family. The thoughts of the feudal class are vividly reflected in architecture.

After crossing the Meridian Gate, you will arrive at the most open front area of the Forbidden City. The palaces in the area of the former dynasty were grand and solemn. Follow the central axis of the Meridian Gate, walk all the way through Taihe Gate, Taihe Hall, Zhonghe Hall and Baohe Hall. The majesty brought by royal buildings can be seen everywhere.

In the area of the former dynasties, it was mainly the occasion for the emperor to hold important ceremonies and for ministers to meet with the emperor. It can be imagined that for hundreds of years. How many times have there been court visits and how many major historical events have been witnessed here.

The back bedroom area is the living area of the royal family of the Forbidden City. Since it is a living area, you can naturally imagine many scenes in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. "Princess Huanzhu","Legend of Zhen Huan","Introduction to Yanxi", etc., can be found in the back bedroom area.

In addition to the Qianqing Palace where the emperor lived and the Kunning Palace where the queen lived, the palaces in the logistics area were divided into the Sixth East Palace and the Sixth West Palace. These palaces are currently mainly used as special exhibitions. Such as blue and white porcelain, bronze ware exhibitions, etc.

Among the East Sixth Palace, the most impressive one is Yanxi Palace. This is not because of the influence of "Yanxi Strategy", but because it is a unique Western-style building, also known as the Crystal Hall.

Yanxi Palace has an ill-fated fate. At first, it did not look like this. Instead, in the twenty-fifth year of Daoguang, a fire destroyed Yanxi Palace. Later, Consort Jin advocated building this Western-style palace on the site, but before it could be completed, it became a dilapidated building because of the empty treasury.

What is even more unfortunate is that when Zhang Xun was restored to the throne, the place was bombed by planes and partially destroyed. Later, the Palace Museum began to restore it, and what can be seen so far is actually just an architectural framework.

On the four edges of the Forbidden City, there are also four corner towers. Among them, the corner building in the northwest corner has become a check-in station for photography. There are many photographers here every day, waiting for the corner tower to turn on the lights.

At present, most areas of the entire Forbidden City have been opened, such as the living area of the prince and the nursing area of the imperial concubine, which are still raised in the boudoir unknown to anyone. Looking forward to one day unveiling the mystery.

Tip:

Tickets: None.

Transportation: Metro "Tiananmen East" or "Tiananmen West" stations.

PostScript

Beijing is an inclusive city. It embraces the lofty royal aristocrats and the unpretentious ordinary people. It incorporates century-old traditional buildings and fashionable modern buildings. It accommodates local specialties and different flavors from all over the world. It contains the joy of travelers and the tears of those who drift north. No matter how quickly time and space change, Beijing is still Beijing, the city where everyone can express their emotions.
