Autumn Tail and his friend's family planned to go to Gubei Water Town, but they found a niche cultural homestay with a Mogan mountain breeze nearby. I have always wanted to go to Moganshan to experience the white house in the mountain valley stream, but I don't have the energy to take my child with me. This time, my dream came true. Coincidentally, I happened to catch up with the Halloween carnival in the resort, and my child had a lot of activities to play with. Two days and one night were plenty.

Day1: Beijing Milwaukee Expressway - Move into Wuling Mountain Residence - Pick hawthorn and make Tomatoes on sticks - Climb the beacon tower on the forest trail - Look at the stars at night

I have been to Gubeishui Town before. There are fewer cars on the Jingmi Expressway compared to other routes. After getting off the expressway, there are forests on both sides. It is during the autumn season when the red leaves are admiring the scenery, and the scenery along the way is quite beautiful. I passed by an orchard and even bought some apples.

We depart from Wangjing and it's a two-hour drive to Wuling Mountain Resort. This is the junction of Miyun and Chengde, outside the west gate of Wuling Mountain. The resort is located by the roadside, and there are many farmhouses along the valley. Perhaps due to its unique architectural style, this hotel is particularly eye-catching and high-end, and you can tell it without looking at the signboard.

With two children, I booked a family room with tatami mats, and my friend's house stayed on the observation balcony and courtyard room. Tatami rooms also feature small tents, checkers carpets, drawing boards, etc., which are more suitable for taking care of children. The lower floor is equipped with a private garden, facing the Andam River.

Relatively speaking, I feel that my friend's observation balcony room has a better view because it is adjacent to a river and a lake, with a more open scenery. The weather is good, and I can read, write, drink tea, and chat on the terrace. Every room can see mountains and hear water. There is no TV in the room, which is understandable. It is important to enjoy the natural beauty and focus on accompanying the people around you

Before coming, I saw that the villa was specially built by a homestay designer from Moganshan. The small building with white walls and gray tiles is located at the foot of the mountains in the suburbs of Beijing, giving a refreshing feeling of Jiangnan. At an altitude of 600 meters, there is no haze here, and the surrounding mountains and forests are all dyed. The aunt is cleaning up the fallen leaves, and the seasonal changes are particularly clear.

The details in the room are well done, and the furniture has children's collision angles, which is very thoughtful. Those who take care of their children have a deep understanding of it. There is underfloor heating, the toilet is intelligently heated, and the cleaning and care users are also very environmentally friendly. They can take it away if they don't use it all. My friend saw the bar and said the child had a place to do homework

The king bedroom has a bathtub, and my eldest son likes to take a shower in the bathtub and play with the water.

There are restaurants in the park. The fish and various soups taste better than those in the city. Maybe the water quality is good. The spring fish are fished in person. Steamed sturgeon is very fresh. West Lake mutton soup and cabbage tofu soup are especially recommended. Cong you bing is a must for children. Marinated tofu has no bean odor, and people who don't like tofu feel it's quite tender.

I played a lot, there were fish in the river, and the boss even caught two small ones. In the afternoon, I participated in the Halloween manual activity of the resort, followed the activity teacher to pick hawthorn, make Bingtanghulu, and carve pumpkins.

The second child is not very good at carving pumpkins, but is more interested in stone milling soybean milk. Dip a bucket of mountain spring water, grab a handful of soaked soybeans, push graphite to grind repeatedly, and thick soybean milk will flow out of the graphite seam. If you want to drink it, you can let the housekeeper boil it. The stone mill is more delicious than the juice.

The outdoor lawn is particularly suitable for children's outdoor activities. It has ample sunlight during the day and is surrounded by guardrails. In fact, a small football field can be set up, or more places can be placed to expand and play,

My favorite oxygen trail in the park is 1.5 kilometers long. In late autumn, the trail is covered with fallen leaves, and the surrounding red leaves are thick. This is the Wuling Mountain Nature Reserve area, so the forest plants are very lush. There are rare birch forests, maple trees, Mongolian oak, and higher up, there will be spruce.

The endpoint is the Wild Great Wall Beacon Tower at an altitude of 900 meters. There is also a large area of hawthorn forest on the road, which has fallen all over the ground. The hawthorn here is more delicious than other places, it is noodles.

The forest trail took about an hour to walk back and forth, and it was already evening when we returned. While walking by the stream, we also saw the sunset, with white walls and gray tiles reflecting in the water, like an ink painting.

The night sky here is particularly bright, and the observation deck at the end of the wooden boardwalk can see the stars. Due to its high altitude, there is no haze or light pollution, and the night is full of stars. But you still have to wear a thick coat to see the stars.

Day 2: Buffet Breakfast - Feeding Deer, Catching Fish - Playing Lego, Drawing Stones - Yaoqiaoyu Ancient Castle

Breakfast is self-service, with over a dozen dishes including beef sauce, pork elbow slices, vermicelli and baby cabbage, broccoli, fried eggs, etc. It's quite delicious. There are also staple foods such as sweet potato, corn, pumpkin, Steamed rolls, Fried Rice, corn residue Congee is better, baby vegetables, Salted duck egg and salted kelp are very delicious, as well as bread and coffee for western breakfast.

The water here is really beautiful, layered and particularly clear, with small fish inside. Water is mountain spring water flowing down from Wuling Mountain, a source of water in Beijing, flowing into the Andamu River and ultimately flowing into the Miyun Reservoir.

There is a deer park with 16 sika deer, rabbits, and dogs. Even sika deer are not afraid of people. They may have become accustomed to being watched and leaned over to smell you, even letting them touch their noses. Taking some branches from the deer keeper, the little deer ran over in a daze, and the child didn't want to leave.

There is a carnival handicraft class around 10:30, and the indoor activity room is quite large. Children can play with LEGO toys and picture books for free. There are also handicraft classes such as drawing stones and pasting plants.

An indoor activity room with a treadmill and a place to practice yoga. There is also a large conference room next door where you can watch free karaoke and movies, and there happens to be a company meeting.

Now the autumn is just right, and Mr.'s company's team building in early November has also been chosen at Wuling Mountain Resort. They have chosen a Chinese style courtyard house, which is independent and secretive. It is said to be the former private residence of the owner of this resort, and there is only one set available.

There are also several bubble houses and homestays halfway up the mountain, which are very dreamy, but we closed down when we went. We plan to come and stay next year.

Passing by a place called "Yaoqiao Ancient Fortress" when returning to Beijing, it is a well preserved Ming Dynasty ancient castle. The entrance of the castle is a parking lot, so you don't need to buy tickets.

I walked into many restaurants and inns because I was in a hurry to return to Beijing and didn't look around carefully. I found a farmer's restaurant that looked quite crowded. This restaurant eats stove fish, and a big fish weighing 4-5 pounds is not enough for people to eat. Our family of four ordered all vegetarian farmer's dishes. Eat up and go home!

This resort is considered a hotel complex, very suitable for families with children, and there seems to be a discount on Double Eleven. What sets it apart from other homestays in Beijing is the rich Jiangnan style architecture. The rooms are simple and lively, with natural wood colored furniture and large white spaces for comfort and relaxation. Green plants serve as embellishments, and there is no need for too much, as the windows are surrounded by mountains. There are also a variety of activities to play, located at the foot of Wuling Mountain. In winter, there is a lot of snow, and there will be rime. I am still looking forward to it.
