Time: May 1 - 4, 2019

Personnel: 3 families, 10 people older and younger (2 60-year-old people, 3 7-and-a-half-year-old children, 5 adults)

Form: Free travel + self-organized small groups (Because there are elderly people and children, we find a local travel agency, a tour guide, and a car in Beijing. We have a car for 10 people. We arrange all the itineraries ourselves, and we find our own food and accommodation. We can go wherever we want and whenever we want. This is really convenient)

Why choose to travel on May Day?

Because this year's May Day originally only had three days off, the country made a temporary adjustment and suddenly changed it to four days. Happiness came too suddenly, so I immediately checked the ticket and saw a 50% discount, haha. Thinking that May Day would be much fewer people than summer vacation and National Day, and the weather would be relatively comfortable, I shouted in the group, and two friends immediately responded. In half a day, the hotel and air tickets were all completed, so the group of 10 people began to look forward to the arrival of May Day in half a month.

Day 1: May 1

Shenzhen-Beijing Shenzhen Airlines 6:50-10:50, 50% off air tickets

Hotel: Novotel Beijing Xinqiao, four-star, room rate is 580 yuan/night (because I used a Huawei employee card to book the reservation, I got the hotel agreement price, which is 50 yuan/room lower than the market price), for three nights, the hotel is located at the entrance of Chongwenmen Subway Station, close to Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to Tiananmen Square. There is a bus at the entrance to Qianmen, which takes about 5 minutes, which is very convenient.

Chinese food: Opposite the hotel is the shopping mall. Have a simple meal and go back to the hotel to rest for a while. (As a result, the children didn't sleep. They were all in the hotel's fitness center, playing with various fitness equipment and chatting with various muscular men and beautiful women)

Afternoon: Tour of Shichahai Hutong. Originally planned to take a rickshaw tour of the Hutong to learn about the various history and customs of Beijing Hutong. As a result, Beijing is really human + resilient. On Labor Day on May Day, all the rickshaw drivers took half a day off but failed to sit. Change to walking around hutongs and seeing various Beijing small market cultures. The duration is about 2 hours

I came out of the alley and returned to Beihai Subway Station. It turned out that there were too many people. The subway station was restricted and the queue took a long time. Beihai Park happened to be right in front of me. Let's go boating in Beihai Park again. I believe that all of us born in the 1980s grew up listening to "Let's set up the sculls", which was taken in Beihai Park, allowing us to relive the joy of growing up and let the children experience the childhood of their parents. The duration is about 2 hours

Transportation: Chongwenmen Station at the entrance of the hotel-Beihai, which needs to be replaced. The whole journey takes about 20 minutes. After leaving the subway station, you will find various alleys in Beijing, as well as the famous corrupt official He Kun's "Gong Mansion". Transportation is very convenient.

It takes about 15 minutes to get out of Beihai Park and take a bus to Chongwenmen West Station.

Dinner: Go back to the hotel and eat "Cheap Fang", a state-owned restaurant, but the taste is average and the price is expensive. I had "Lao Dong Roast Duck" when I went to Beijing three years ago, and I personally thought it was even more delicious. Per capita consumer 100 yuan

Day 2: May 2

I originally planned to go to the Forbidden City on the 2nd. I received a phone call from the tour guide the day before that the Forbidden City was full on May Day, so the itinerary was adjusted and I went to the Great Wall and Mutianyu Great Wall on the 2nd. Everyone must want to ask me why I want to go to the Mutianyu Great Wall instead of Badaling. Badaling because Grandpa Mao mentioned the phrase "No one is a hero who has not reached the Great Wall", so tour groups all over the country promoted it, so that those who have never been to other Great Wall in the country only knew that Badaling existed in Beijing and thought that it was the only Badaling. In fact, the domestic propaganda is to Badaling, and the foreign propaganda is all about the Mutianyu Great Wall. Various foreign leaders who came to Beijing to climb the Great Wall also climbed the Mutianyu Great Wall.

All major scenic spots in Beijing are crowded with people, all year round. How to avoid the flow of people? Early, you must get up early, and you have to watch the flow of people if it is not early.

The Mutianyu Great Wall opens at 7:30.

Get up at 5:30 in the morning, go out at 6:00, take breakfast with you in the car, and arrive at the gate at 7:30, and the tour guide buys tickets to enter. The Mutianyu Great Wall is very beautiful and flat, suitable for children and the elderly to climb. Only when you reach the No. 24 Peak Fire Platform, that is, the highest point, will there be a steep step, which is also used with both hands and feet. Compared with Badaling, it is much more dangerous. There is no need to queue for the entire journey. There are also various photos taken on the Great Wall, and there are not many people. When it came down at 10:30, there was a long line at both the cable car and the gate. It was estimated that the line would take at least three hours. With many people, the experience on the Great Wall would definitely not be good, let alone taking photos.

Chinese food: There are all kinds of food outside the scenic area, most of which are sturgeon and trout. We chose a popular and highly rated restaurant on the Internet called "Yujia Ao". The dishes taste good, and the portions are not usually enough. If you go to eat, you must order a few less dishes, otherwise you will be wasted if you can't finish them. Later, we didn't finish eating a lot and packed bags. When we were hungry in the afternoon, we ate a vegetable dumpling, which was super delicious. Stewed mushrooms with firewood chicken. The mushrooms are very delicious. There is also fish, which is also delicious. Per capita consumption: 80 yuan

After lunch, I returned to the city and went to the Temple of Heaven. There are many people, and there are many people on the main line. If you want to take photos, you can shoot a big movie if you go to the side.

At 6:30 p.m., flags were lowered in Tianmen Square, and there was a sea of people. Decisively gave up the flag-raising the next morning.

After watching the flag lowering, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Dazhalan to go shopping. It was also crowded with people.

Day 3: May 3

All major scenic spots in Beijing are crowded with people, all year round. How to avoid the flow of people? Early, you must get up early, and you have to watch the flow of people if it is not early.

Morning: Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan,

Afternoon: Gong Wangfu

Peking University and Tsinghua University were not open on May 1, so they did not enter. Those who want to go have to make an appointment in advance on the public account.

The hotel is also very close to the Summer Palace. I get up at 7 a.m., go out at 7:30, and arrive at the door at 8:00. I walk around without much experience. It was only past 10 o'clock when we came out, and it was the peak period for entering the park. Walking on the road, people asked us why we were walking in the opposite direction. We proudly said,"We have finished sightseeing, and you are going to go shopping next." Slowly gloating, there should be laughter here. hahahaha

Yuanmingyuan: It's a big park. There's nothing to see in the park except the ruins of Xiyang Tower for a fee. But the children love the maze inside. The life of the emperor back then was so comfortable. Looking at a group of concubines unable to get out of the maze, haha, no wonder men wanted three wives and four concubines, with groups of wives and concubines. Fang didn't know that when medicine was backward, rich men took so many wives just to have more children, because the survival rate of children was too low at that time. Only large families can have N wives. Ordinary people can't even eat enough. How come they have three wives and four concubines?

After lunch, we walked around in the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, but there was nothing to say. However, it is still necessary to take a walk in Beijing's dragon veins and gain some good luck.

In the afternoon, the Gong Mansion was crowded with people. There were explanations inside, but it still sounded interesting.

Midnight and dinner: Highly recommended. We will eat it at their home for the next few days,"Little Diao Pear Soup". The environment is good, the taste is good, and the price is reasonable. Until now, the child recommends this restaurant whenever she hears anyone say she wants to go to Beijing, because she likes the food there extremely much. Per capita consumption: 60 yuan

I came to Tianmen Square to watch the flag lowering again at 6:30 p.m. because it was close to the hotel. Haha, there were a lot of people, but there were fewer people than the day before. He continued to give up the flag-raising the next morning.

After watching the flag lowering, you can take a bus or subway back to the hotel. It's very convenient, about 20 minutes. You can also walk if you want.

Day 4: May 4

All major scenic spots in Beijing are crowded with people, all year round. How to avoid the flow of people? Early, you must get up early, and you have to watch the flow of people if it is not early.

The Forbidden City opens at 8 o'clock in the morning, and it is already crowded with people. If you want to take a quick look, you will have to go there again in the future.

I originally planned to go to Jingshan Park to see the panoramic view of the Forbidden City, but there were too many people and I couldn't go. It is recommended to go there in the evening or early in the morning to see the entire Forbidden City. It is very spectacular.

Chinese food: Still "Little Diao Pear Soup"

In the afternoon, at the National Military Museum of China, the children loved it very much and were extremely proud when they saw various weapons made in China.

Evening: The plane was late and I didn't get home until 2 a.m. on the 5th. The child slept for 5 hours and went to school happily.

First-grade children who have just joined the Young Pioneers must bring red scarves to Tiananmen Square to salute Grandpa Mao and the Hero Monument.

Beijing celebrates our arrival with rare blue skies and white clouds. My friend said that we came to fake Beijing. Shouldn't Beijing be gray? Haha, looks like I'm lucky. Beijing Blue!!!

After lunch, we started a tour of Shichahai Hutong. Due to May Day, the rickshaw teachers took a half-day vacation, so the tour of the hutong was changed to walking the hutong.

Children can also find their own fun.

After coming out of the alley, we went to Beihai Park. It was still a little chilly in the evening. It is recommended to bring a thin coat, especially for children and the elderly.

When you come to Beihai, how can you not go on a cruise ship? We born in the 1980s all grew up listening to "Let's paddle".

How many people are there at the children's recruitment station in the park? How many children are separated? hehe

Dinner was served at Cheap Fairs. It was really average and would not recommend it.

The next day, the highlight of this trip to Beijing came, the Great Wall, the Mutianyu Great Wall.

The early morning of May Day in Beijing was still very cold. We all wore three pieces, that's right. It was so cold that I wore two coats outside.

For cultural and creative products of the Great Wall, there are vending machines at the entrance of the scenic area.

The next step is to take the cable car to the No. 20 Peak Fire Platform. It is really beautiful.

After getting off the cable car, you can see Grandpa Mao's "Long Live the Chinese People" from afar

Since we came early and successfully avoided the flow of people, the Great Wall we saw was "like this", which made me laugh proudly.

Because there were too many people in Beijing, I didn't bring my sister with me this time, so my father stayed at home to play with my sister.

There were only two of us.

The three children were very excited and ran by themselves the whole time. Because it was early, once again, there were few people on the Great Wall. The children ran all the way, having fun, and rushed directly to the No. 24 Peak Fire Platform at the forefront to wait for us.

If we couldn't run, we slowly appreciated the various beautiful scenery inside and outside the Great Wall.

The fire platform on the 24th peak is sealed off at the back. The wild Great Wall that has not yet been repaired is the famous "Jiankou Great Wall". Many outdoor athletes come here. Because the Great Wall has been in disrepair, every year, outdoor sports enthusiasts fall on the Jiankou Great Wall and many accidents occur.

"No one is a hero who doesn't reach the Great Wall", each of the three children will be rewarded with a "hero card". Buy it from the Fenghuotai stall on No. 24. Take it privately for 50 yuan/3 yuan.

In the end, I estimated how steep it was, and I had to use both hands and feet to get up.

There is a beautiful little girl in front of me wearing a miniskirt. In fact, everything else is okay, but when I get here, it's troublesome. The light under the skirt suddenly shines, and nothing can stop it. She tells me from time to time, You are behind me, don't let men cut in. The key is not to jump in the queue, and we can see through the rest.

Climbing to the No. 24th Peak Fire Platform was really tiring. In the last section, I took several stops and rests before climbing up.

When I came down, I felt that my legs were no longer mine. My legs were soft and I was completely out of control.

I got off the cable car at 10:30, but the cable car line was lined up like this. In less than 3 hours, I guess I wouldn't even be seen at the foot of the Great Wall.

Morning, must be early.

The leisurely kittens are watching the theater, and they play the drama almost on holidays.

At noon,"Yu Jia Ao" had dinner. There was a fishing puddle at the door. Two friends didn't catch it. As a result, my little girl made a move and found it! It seems that she still has some skills when following her father everywhere fishing.

Temple of Heaven in the afternoon, there is nothing to say, just take a few photos

Wherever my girl goes, several children are dancing crazily here, and parents take various photos.

In the evening, I went to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag lowering, satisfying my child's small wish to see Tiananmen Square.

Dazhalan at night.

On the third day, the Summer Palace was still early, early, early. Be there at 8 o'clock.

Do you think you only see long legs in this photo? Haha.

Next is Yuanmingyuan.

If you bring your sister to Beijing in the future, you probably won't come to these two places.

In the afternoon, Gong Wang Mansion.

Chinese food, our favorite little pear soup.

The fourth day.

Morning, the Forbidden City.

Tiananmen Square in the morning.

Waiting in line to enter the Forbidden City.

Treasure Hall.

People in ancient times were really idle, so they could produce high-quality products everywhere. The pace of life is slow. If you don't bother, it's hard to pass the time.

What does it feel like for the noble people in the harem looking at the sky every day?

In the afternoon, Military Museum.

After four days, I took a quick look and ended my trip to Beijing.

In a few years, when my sister goes to primary school and comes to Beijing again, I must climb Jingshan Park in the morning to see the panoramic view of the Forbidden City.

It's best to pick a winter where you can skate and skate on the Shichahai Sea.

Goodbye, Beijing.

Beijing, see you again in a few years.
