A secret realm discovered by accident: Colorful Forest of Shenxian Valley

Located in the border area between Fengning Bashang, Hebei Province and Inner Mongolia, Datanzhong, Fengning County, Chengde City, covers an area of more than 20,000 acres. At present, it is a large-scale tourist area with the highest standards, the largest scale, the most distinctive features and the most complete infrastructure in the entire Bashang area.

Starting from Beijing, a group of five people drove by themselves for about 4 hours. It was a rainy day in Beijing when we set out, and it was drizzling. I was worried that the original plan would be disrupted, so I headed north with hope to embark on a dream-seeking journey in early autumn.

(Unexpectedly, the Colorful Forest gave us a big surprise)

Arriving at the Colorful Forest Visitor Center, there is a large parking lot on the left, and there are three different styles of hotels ahead. We went to the hotel first to check in.

After taking a break and finishing lunch, it was still raining outdoors, so we chose to visit the indoor attractions in the scenic area first.

Manchu Folk Customs Exhibition

The Bashang Grassland was once the most frequent activity base for nomadic peoples, and it was also the favorite summer resort of emperors in the Liao, Jin, Yuan and Qing dynasties in summer.

Today, there are still many Manchu people living in Fengning County. They have always wanted to understand the orange seeds in Bashang's past and present lives. In this folk exhibition, we have a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the historical development of the Manchu and the Manchu culture through the combination of pictures, text and objects. The process of Manchu costumes, Manchu paper-cutting, fishing and hunting and other cultures.

What surprised Orange Seed the most was that there was a piece of clothing and boots made of birch bark. When you look closely, the lines were clear, the connection was close, and it was very exquisite.

Personally, I feel that the design of this exhibition area is particularly meaningful, allowing everyone to have more understanding of the Manchu people. Instead of unilaterally believing in the unrealistic background assumptions of ancient costume TV dramas, it can also increase knowledge while appreciating the beautiful natural scenery. It is very worth taking a look.

Accompanied by the pattering rain, I look forward to a sunny day tomorrow, although the weather forecast on my mobile phone still tells me that "it will rain tomorrow morning."

There are 2 paths to visit the Colorful Forest of Shenxian Valley:

1. From the entrance of the scenic area, walk along the plank road to the innermost destination, and then take a small train/battery car back.

2. From the entrance of the scenic area, take a small train to the innermost destination, and tour from the inside out (if you are tired, you can pick it up directly at the station and scenic area).

It is recommended to choose the second option, because the scenic area is too big, and the innermost part is the most exciting, so save your strength.

Sitting on the forest train, our group of us, breathing the fresh air after the rain, shuttled through the jungle, exclaiming the beauty of the gift of nature we saw in front of us.

yunting

This is the terminal of the forest train. Get off and walk into the jungle tribe. On the left is the highest point,"Yunting". This is the highest point of the scenic area, and the cloud pavilion on the top of the mountain is also the best viewing point for the Colorful Forest Scenic Area. Standing on the top of the mountain, the green leaves are covered with yellow flowers, and the heights are reflected in the shadows.

The open vision gives you the feeling of seeing all the small mountains at a glance. Looking from a distance, the mountains are low, gentle and majestic, the hills are undulating like waves and far away, there are undulating yellow grass blankets at your feet, and the field of vision is colorful forests, frame by frame., they are all beautiful like a movie screen.

I finally understood why this scenic spot covers 60% of the forest area and gathers various landforms such as grasslands, forests, wetlands, hills, and lakes. The "Colorful Forest" is well deserved.

riding

You may be a little tired after getting down from Yunting. At this time, you can choose the classic grassland event: horse riding, where you can sit and rest for a while, and experience the fun of galloping horses.

Horses are in many colors, white ones are clean, black ones are handsome, brown ones are vigorous... The horse's oily mane shines in the sun, which shows that it is very carefully maintained and it doesn't matter if it doesn't know how to ride a horse. It's very safe to be accompanied by experienced horse leaders throughout the journey.

Being able to touch the tip of a tree is a unique experience that not everyone can try. At the gate of the jungle tribe, we climbed the glass plank road of Internet celebrities.

Although it is not as tall as Yunting, it is quite interesting. Walking on the glass plank road surrounded by trees is like an elf shuttling through the jungle, observing the differences between trees up close and listening to the figure of nature.

On the glass plank road, look down and you will find a long wooden bridge leading to the white jungle. This is our next destination: white birch reflecting the sun.

White Birch Reflects the Sun (White Birch Forest)

The white birch trees here are dense and numerous, each straight and straight, rows of pure and simple, and each one is quiet and elegant. The gray-white tree bark under the sunset is like a memory frozen by time.

Looking up at the top of the tree, the golden leaves fall gracefully, as if to welcome or retain them. I hope you stop and take a look again, because they are about to turn into nutrients and nourish the roots of the trees. As the name suggests, there are pools of water of different colors here, which fall down layer upon layer like terraces. Forest Ranch

Opposite the Colorful Pool is a forest ranch, where all kinds of cute little animals live. As soon as we entered the door, we were greeted by tall camels with full humps. We can guess that the nutrition is good. The deeper we go, we can still see peacocks, sheep, horses...

The happiest thing is to see a group of sika deer raised freely all over the place. The stag is full of energy and the deer are charming and lovely. They run freely in the garden, unfettered, and integrate with nature.

Tianjing Lake

Water is the source of all things.

As the name suggests, the lake is the largest water area in the scenic area. When there is no wind, the colorful forest is quietly reflected in the mirror-like lake water, making it difficult to distinguish between illusion and reality.

The blue sky and white clouds are reflected on the lake. Bright and delicate flowers are swaying in full bloom in the water, as if someone is picking them quickly, but there is no place to step on them. There is some beauty. We can only look at it from a distance and appreciate it to get it. Wonderful.

Walking on the transparent glass bridge, it is like the water and the sky are in the same color. The sky is high and the clouds are clear, and the layers of forests are dyed. The game of color is vividly performed here.

Night light show

At the beginning of the lights, the picturesque Tianjing Lake faded away and looked even more mysterious in the afterglow of the sunset. As the music gradually started, the bank of Tianjing Lake was gradually illuminated by warm lights.

The verdant mountains, quiet lakes, and gorgeous light shows allow people to drive away the cold of early autumn on this night and dance happily to the rhythm.

The bright and clear moon seems to want to join our team, but unfortunately they can only watch.

Bonfire fireworks

After dinner, people came to the Colorful Forest Square to start the "night carnival". People jumped around the bonfire, indulging in releasing the pressure of life and work, holding fireworks and drawing the words you want to express most in your heart, making a wish in your heart, and following the fireworks The sky rose into the sky and bloomed in the black night.
