[Write before traveling]

Beijing is the place I have longed for since I was a child.

I went to college in Tianjin and went to Beijing almost every small holiday. I also spent Christmas in Beijing. I checked in almost all the scenic spots large and small in Beijing, but I still like Beijing's cultural atmosphere and never get tired of staying there no matter how I go!

I started waiting a few years ago to catch up with the 600th birthday of the Forbidden City. From Dean Shan Jixiang to Dean Wang Xudong, to catch up with the epidemic, the original monthly special exhibition was cancelled."Riverside Picture at Qingming Festival" is of course invisible ~

Fortunately, the epidemic improved in September this year, and the Forbidden City's 600-Year Special Exhibition-Danchen Yonggu was launched ~

Make an appointment with your friends and walk into the Forbidden City for the fourth time ~

Day 1 [October 30] Forbidden City-Guijie (Hu Da Restaurant)

I spent the whole night on the train and didn't sleep well. I got off the bus in the morning, had breakfast at McDonald's, and then took the subway to the Forbidden City. Security check is very strict now. It's almost 10 o'clock before entering Tiananmen Square. Tickets booked in advance on the official website of the Forbidden City still need to be activated. Now the Forbidden City is restricted every day, and tickets must be booked online at least 10 days in advance. You will definitely not be able to buy them if you buy them on the same day. Many people were seen at the scene returning disappointed!

The Danchen Yonggu Special Exhibition is free. We bought tickets for the Forbidden City + Treasure Museum + Clock Museum for a total of 80 yuan (peak season). Tickets for the Forbidden City are considered to be very low among attractions across the country.

The Beijing Forbidden City is a royal palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in China. It was formerly called the Forbidden City. It is located in the center of Beijing's central axis and is the essence of ancient Chinese court architecture. It is one of the largest existing and most completely preserved ancient wooden buildings in the world. The Forbidden City in Beijing is known as the first of the five largest palaces in the world (Forbidden City in Beijing, Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom, White House in the United States, and Kremlin in Russia).

Construction of the Beijing Forbidden City began in 1406, the fourth year of Yongle, Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty. It was built based on the Nanjing Forbidden City and was completed in 1420. It is a rectangular city, 961 meters long from north to south, 753 meters wide from east to west. It is surrounded by a 10-meter-high city wall on all sides and a 52-meter-wide moat outside the city. The buildings in the Forbidden City are divided into two parts: the Outer Dynasty and the Inner Court. The center of the Outer Dynasty was the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Zhonghe Hall, and Baohe Hall, collectively referred to as the Three Halls, which were the places where the country held major ceremonies. The center of the inner court is the Qianqing Palace, Jiaotai Hall, and Kunning Palace, collectively referred to as the Later Three Palaces, which are the main palace where the emperor and queen lived.

Many young girls in clear costumes took photos in the Forbidden City, which is also a scene ~

2020 coincides with the 600th anniversary of the completion of the Forbidden City, and the Palace Museum launches the Danchen Yonggu Exhibition (September 10-November 15, 2020) The planning, layout, architecture, court life, and architectural construction and protection of the Forbidden City are introduced through three themes and 18 historical nodes, so as to facilitate the audience to understand the historical culture of "time" and "emptiness" throughout the Forbidden City, feel the highest realm of the perfect combination of palace architectural technology and art, and appreciate the infinite charm of China's excellent traditional culture. This special exhibition will be held on the Meridian Gate and on the East and West Swallow Wings Building. It's quite exciting to visit the Meridian Gate for the first time ~

Unit 1-Miyagi Integration

The space color is off-white, highlighting the three-dimensional effect of the Ming Dynasty stone components. Together with a large number of plate illustrations and calligraphy and painting exhibits, it tells the concept of palace city construction and architectural engineering skills of the Ming Dynasty. Through three historical nodes, it tells the prelude and completion of the construction of the Beijing Imperial Palace and the changes in the layout of the Forbidden City in the Ming Dynasty.

Unit 2--Tolerance is big

The color of the space is red, which highlights the ornate and exquisite decoration of the palace buildings and inner eaves of the Forbidden City in the Qing Dynasty. It also tells the changes in the architectural pattern and style of the Forbidden City in various periods during the Qing Dynasty. Through eight historical nodes, it tells the story that ten emperors in the Qing Dynasty renovated or renovated the buildings of the Forbidden City in order to meet their needs for governance, sleeping and other functions, forming the basic pattern of today's Forbidden City. The cultural relics on display reflect the integration of multi-ethnic cultures in ancient China and the wisdom of the working people. This unit is the most beautiful, and the crowded place must be a treasure ~

The gold and silver lacquer yarn in the south of Fuwang Pavilion is draped across the window center. This lacquer yarn is about the thickness of a piece of paper, but it consists of a yarn core layer, a paper pattern layer, a gold layer, a bottom layer, a smudge layer and a hook line layer. It consists of 6 layers.
This screen window was originally used in the place where Qianlong lived after retirement. The front and back patterns are the same, with a total of 11 layers, and the thickness of the paper. It can transmit light. This kind of craft is used as a screen window in the Forbidden City, but many of the techniques have not yet been cracked. Moreover, this cultural relic may become a swan song the first time it is taken out and will never be displayed again.

The red sandalwood frame in the west of Fuwang Pavilion is inlaid with hundreds of treasures on the edge of the kang. The edge of the kang is so particular. I have been lying there and watching it for a long time ~

Unit 3-Live forever

The spatial color is green, which is intended to represent the vibrant and prosperous development of the Palace Museum after its establishment. Through seven historical nodes, it tells the story of the southward migration of cultural relics from the Forbidden City and the surveying and mapping of buildings along the central axis that occurred after the former Royal Palace became a museum. A large number of old photos and images, historical archives and physical exhibits present the results and development process of the Palace Museum in various aspects since its establishment.

Of course, I will also go to the Watch Exhibition and the Treasure Hall. I originally thought that the exhibits in these two exhibition halls would remain unchanged, but this discovery is really constantly updated

These bonsais are really beautiful

After visiting the Treasure Museum, you can stroll around the Forbidden City casually. It was autumn in Beijing, and the ginkgo trees were all yellow. By mistake, I arrived at Yanxi Palace, the most beautiful place in the Forbidden City.

Come out after 4 p.m., hungry, but you can't miss the sunset on the corner tower

At night, I go to Huda in Guijie to eat crayfish. The crayfish are average, but the spicy chicken is really amazing. You must rush early to Huda, otherwise the queue will be enough.

The next day [October 31] National Museum-Dongjiaomin Lane-Four Seasons Minfu Roast Duck

The relationship with the International Expo is also very deep. When I was in college, the International Expo was constantly renovating and opened the year of graduation. Unfortunately, it was just the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Party and all of them were red exhibitions. When I went to Beijing, the museum was closed. This time, I finally checked it out. Everything at the International Expo is as usual, and I finally got a glimpse of the International Expo ten years after graduation.

The National Museum of China is the largest comprehensive museum in the country, gathering the cultural essence of various places. There are many precious exhibits here, such as the terracotta warriors and horses in Shaanxi, the Sanxingdui mask in Sichuan, the animal head in Yuanmingyuan, etc. Tickets need to be booked at least one day in advance, which is free, and remember that the museum is closed on Monday.

The museum is divided into five floors and has a total of 48 exhibition halls. The exhibition hall area is very large and the number of exhibits is large. It will take at least a day to take a closer look at the entire National Expo, focusing on "Ancient China" and the Bronze Exhibition.

"Ancient China": Through the past thousands of years

After entering the museum, go straight to the "Ancient China" exhibition hall on the basement level. The exhibits here are arranged in the order from ancient times to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, like a general history of China. When visiting, remember to enter from the entrance of the preface hall on the north side of the exhibition hall, so that you can browse it in sequence starting from ancient times, otherwise you will have to "travel" back from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Even if you don't know much about cultural relics here, you will surely see many familiar cultural relics, such as: painted pottery pots with fish patterns, Yangshao eagle-shaped pottery tripods, red jade dragons of Hongshan culture, pottery figurines beating drums and singing, and sheep Fangzun of the Shang Dynasty. The colorful terracotta warriors of the Western Han Dynasty, the colorful pottery cans of Chenghua, the phoenix crown of the Empress Dowager Wanli of the Ming Dynasty, etc., the exquisiteness is the essence of Chinese civilization and is very eye-catching.

Bronze Exhibition: Appreciating the Bronze Age

After coming out of "Ancient China", take the elevator to the exhibition hall of "Ancient Chinese Bronze Art" located in the central hall on the third floor. The tripods in the bronze exhibition are also one of the highlights of the museum, especially the Simuwu Ding, the Yuan Dingzi Long Ding, and the large jade tripod with nearly 300 words on the inner wall. It is rich and exquisite. All the outstanding works of my country's Bronze Age are concentrated here.

Painted geese and fish bronze gang lamp (Western Han Dynasty)

"" refers to a smoke guide pipe, and "" lamp is a lamp with a smoke guide pipe. It is a newly created lamp in the Han Dynasty.

The whole lantern is in the shape of a goose looking back and holding a fish. It is composed of four parts: a goose holding a fish, a goose body, a lamp panel and a lamp shade. The goose's neck is long and slender, and I look back to grab a fish. The goose has a fat body, wings cast on both sides of its body, a short tail upturned, and its feet stand side by side. The lamp panel has a handle and is located on the back of the wild goose. The lampshade is two arc-shaped plates. The lamp panel and lamp shade can be rotated to open and close to adjust wind protection and light. The fish body, goose neck and goose body are hollow and connected to accommodate smoke and dust. Each part can be disassembled for cleaning. The concept and design are exquisite and reasonable, achieving the perfect unity of function and form., is a rare art treasure

Bronze rhinoceros zun with gold and silver patterns (Western Han Dynasty)

This bronze statue adopts the shape of a rhinoceros. The rhinoceros stands with its head held high, is muscular, has accurate proportions, and has a vigorous body. It is the image of the Suman rhinoceros that lived in China in ancient times.

This statue is shaped like a rhinoceros. The rhinoceros stands with its head held high. It has a fat body, short and thick legs, thick and wrinkled skin, sharp horns, and its eyes are inlaid with black beads. The belly is hollow and used to hold wine. There is an oval mouth on the back of the statue and a cover on the mouth. There is a circular tubular "flow" on the right side of the rhinoceros mouth.

In ancient times, China not only produced rhinos, but also had a large number. Rhinoceros bones have been found many times in Neolithic sites. Yin and Shang oracle bones contain records of burning forests and hunting rhinoceros. During the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Period, rhinoceros armor made of rhinoceros skin was the envy of warriors. Due to large-scale hunting, rhinoceros, a wild animal with low fertility rate, rapidly declined in the north and disappeared in Guanzhong by the late Western Han Dynasty at the latest.

Portrait Brick of Guanji (Eastern Han Dynasty)

Drum and rap figurines (Eastern Han Dynasty)

The pottery figurines of the Eastern Han Dynasty beating drums and singing are 56 centimeters high and made of clay gray pottery. The figurines were originally painted but have now fallen off. The pottery figurines wore a turban on their heads, held a round flat drum under their left arm, and straight right arm. They held a drumstick in their hands to strike, and wore beads on their arms. The pottery figurines are naked on the upper body and wearing long trousers under them; they are bent and squatting on the ground, barefoot, with their right legs raised, the soles of their feet upward, open their mouths, show their teeth, and squint their eyes, showing a lively, witty and simple attitude, and their movements are exaggerated, giving a vivid image of a hero singing.

Qian Liu Iron Coupons (Tang Dynasty)

The Liú iron coupon is a golden book iron coupon given by Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty to reward Qian Liu, Prince of Pengcheng, for pacifying Dong Chang's rebellion against the Tang Dynasty and claiming himself as emperor. Qian Liu was the founding king of the State of Wu and Yue in the Five Dynasties. In the third year of Tang Qianning (896 AD), Dong Chang betrayed the Tang Dynasty and proclaimed himself emperor. After persuasion to surrender failed, Qian Liu pacified Dong Chang. Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty granted Qian Liu the titles of Zhenhai Jiedushi and Zhendong Jiedushi. In the fourth year of Tang Qianning (897 AD), Emperor Zhaozong of Tang Dynasty"Golden Book and Iron Certificate"There are 333 golden characters in regular script (commonly known as the gold medal for exemption from death) embedded on it:"... You will forgive nine deaths, and your descendants will forgive three deaths. Or if you commit regular punishment, the relevant department shall not impose additional responsibility..."

The world vividly calls this iron ticket the "death-free card" and the "life-and-death card."

The National Expo is too big. After walking around, the basics will be useless. I want to go to the nearby Dongjiaomin Lane

Dongjiaomin Lane is nearly 1.6 kilometers long and is a longer alley in old Beijing. After 1860, it became a embassy quarter, with legations, foreign banks, post offices, hospitals, etc. from various countries stationed one after another.

The alley was quite quiet and we even rode bicycles

I bought Aunt Long's beef sesame cakes on the roadside

In the evening, our college classmates 'family came to invite us to eat roast duck and chat about our college years. I really lamented that ten years have passed in a flash.

Day 3 [November 1] Yonghegong (Qixun Bagui Hutong Cuisine)--Yuanmingyuan--Shichahai
Early this morning, I went to Yonghe Temple (free ticket: 25 yuan) to burn incense. Yonghe Temple is one of the rare royal temples of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism (Yellow Religion) in Beijing City. Historically, it was the residence of the fourth son of the Qing Dynasty, Yinzhen (Emperor Yongzheng), and the birthplace of Emperor Qianlong. Later, it was changed into a Huangjiao Temple. The incense was very popular. There are many precious ancient buildings and cultural relics in the temple, which is worth visiting.

Various halls in the temple house numerous Buddha statues, Thangka and a large number of precious cultural relics. Among them, the 500 Arhat Mountains carved with red sandalwood, the large Buddhist niche carved with gold nanmu dragons, and the 18-meter-high white sandalwood Buddha are the three unique creations of Yonghe Palace. The three unique creations are the Maitreya Buddha in Wanfu Pavilion. It is 18 meters away from the ground and 8 meters underground. It is carved by a complete white sandalwood. This tree originated in Nepal and was later dedicated to Emperor Qianlong

The persimmon trees in the temple are ripe

There are also ginkgo trees on the road to the Lama Temple. Autumn in Beijing is so beautiful

At noon, I had dinner at a small restaurant in the Hutong of the Theater and ordered the special chicken Lijump, which was sweet and sour shrimp and chicken

I arranged to go to Yuanmingyuan in the afternoon. The advance reservation ticket was 25 yuan.

Yuanmingyuan is a famous royal garden in the Qing Dynasty. It consists of three areas: Yuanmingyuan, Changchun Garden and Qichun Garden. It has been extremely rich and beautiful in history and has the reputation of "Garden of Thousands of Gardens".

Yuanmingyuan was built in 1709 (48 years of Kangxi). It was a garden given by Kangxi to Yongzheng, who had not yet ascended the throne, to spend his leisure time. After Yongzheng ascended the throne in 1722, he expanded the original Ci Garden and built Zhengda Hall, Qinzheng Hall, as well as the stored value rooms for the Cabinet, Six Departments, and Military Affairs Office in the south of the garden to "avoid noise and listen to government affairs." During the Qianlong period, partial construction and reconstruction of Yuanmingyuan was carried out. Changchun Garden was built in the east and Wanchun Garden was merged into the southeast. The pattern of the three Yuanmingyuan gardens was basically formed. During the Jiaqing period, Qichun Garden was renovated and expanded, becoming one of the main garden venues.

There is a section of Ginkgo Avenue from the gate of Yuanmingyuan to Xiyang Tower, and there are many people taking photos.

Yuanmingyuan was burned down by the Anglo-French coalition forces in 1860. A rough estimate of the number of cultural relics looted was about 1.5 million, ranging from bronze ceremonial vessels from the Pre-Qin era to celebrity calligraphy and paintings and various rare treasures from the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. In 1900, the Eight-Power Allied Forces invaded Beijing, and the royal gardens in the western suburbs were again devastated.

Xiyang Tower is located on the northern boundary of Changchun Garden. It is a European-style garden imitated for the first time in my country. It consists of more than ten Western-style buildings and courtyards, including Xiexiangqu, Huanghuazhen, Sparrow cage, Fangxiangxiang, Haiyan Hall, Yuanyingguan, Dashui, Guanshuifa Mountain, and Xianfa Painting. The building materials are mostly white marble, the stone surface is carefully carved, and the roof is covered with glazed tiles, covering an area of about 7 hectares.

The Xiyang Building was designed and supervised by the Western missionary, Italian Lang Shining, and the French missionary Jiang Youren, a Jesuit missionary who was then working in the Ruyi Hall of the Palace Painting Academy, and was built by Chinese craftsmen

Haiyan Hall, the word "Haiyan" takes the meaning of "the river is clear and the sea is peaceful, the country is peaceful and the people are safe." On the left and right sides of the pool are lined with bronze statues of human beings and animal heads of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals (bronze statues of animal heads in Yuanmingyuan). At twelve hours every day and night, the twelve zodiac animals take turns to spray water. At noon, spring water is sprayed from the mouths of the twelve bronze statues at the same time. These bronze statues were designed by Westerners and made in China. They integrate Eastern and Western cultures and are commonly known as "Water Bell.".

You can get explanations all the way. Of course, it would be good to watch the Yuanmingyuan documentary before coming.

I had dinner in Shichahai in the evening and went shopping and bought a piece of one-yuan jasmine tea

Day 4 [November 2] Wangfujing Peace Fruit Market--Hamres Toy Store--Bubble Mart Store--Lego Toy Store
I will be returning to Harbin in the afternoon, so I won't arrange any scenic spots in the morning, just go shopping

This "old Beijing" in the Wangfujing Department Store has big blue brick narrow alleys, honeycomb briquettes, small horses, green leather trains, large theaters, photo studios and advertisements from the last century... a strong sense of the times. Come.

Hamres in the UK is the oldest toy store in the UK. It was founded in 1760 and has a history of more than 250 years. Now it has finally settled in Beijing

I checked in to the Beijing Bubble Mart store and drew 2 blind boxes. Beijing didn't make me feel too European

Found the Lego store nearby and saw Harry Potter Castle

In the afternoon, I flew to Daxing Airport and finally met the legendary Daxing Airport. There is an intercity (35 yuan) in the city and direct access to the airport, which is very convenient.

Beijing is a city I want to visit again and again. Universal Studios opens next year, and I have to arrange it ~
