I have wanted to go to Beijing for a long time. As the capital, as a city full of history, how can people not aspire to it... But there are always reasons for this, so I didn't come to the Imperial Capital until the winter of 2015...
I always knew that the Imperial Capital would be very beautiful in autumn, but unfortunately I didn't have the time... I heard that Beijing would be an empty city in winter. The snowy capital must be incredibly beautiful... and the hutong culture of old Beijing...
Because it is the first month, there are not many tourists in Beijing. Only the branches of the bare trees stretch towards the sky. Walking in such a city of Beijing, listening to the sound of history, it seems to have a sense of gloom...
I'm lucky. It snowed in Beijing on the day before coming. Although I missed the snow scenery, the sky was clear every day for the next five or six days. Looking up at the blue sky of Beijing and breathing the air of Beijing, there is no haze.
The time is relatively short, so the schedule is relatively tight, and there are many places I want to go that I haven't gone. For example, the Hall of Prayer for New Year in the Temple of Heaven, Peking University, and temple fairs. But all travel should be in the present and you can't go everywhere. Otherwise, you will definitely not be able to have fun.
Just wait for the next time if you don't see the scenery, you will always come back
The capital is big and beautiful... Take your time to see and feel
food
Beijing's candied haws are super delicious (I brought 2 on the day I came back). Beijing popsicles, yogurt.
Huguo Temple snacks (very Beijing flavor), Xiyuanju Old Beijing Shabu Pork (Qianmen Store), Richang Restaurant (Beihai Main Store), Manfulou (Di 'anmen), Qingfeng steamed buns (the taste is average, the meat jelly is quite delicious), shredded pork in Beijing sauce (a large portion), Wu Yutai (ice cream)
tips
It is recommended that everyone download an APP for Metro Access on their mobile phones, which is very convenient. I rely on it to take the subway these days in Beijing. It is very clear how much money it costs, how many stops it takes, and where to go.
5 degrees below zero to 5 degrees. Beijing, which is not windy, is not very cold, at least not as cold as I imagined. Therefore, children in the south do not need to be afraid of this temperature. Naturally, measures to keep warm must be taken well.
Working in the north is inevitable, and I believe the girls will be ready to moisturize.
There are temple fairs in Ditan from the first day of the first lunar month to the seventh day of the first lunar month. Actually, I really want to join in the fun. Unfortunately, there is not enough time, so everyone can go and have a look if they have time.

day 1
Tiananmen Square
Not far from the subway entrance, you will reach Tiananmen Square. There is a need for security check when you enter Tiananmen Square, but it is not cumbersome.
We didn't go to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. After taking various photos in the square, we were ready to enter the Forbidden City.
Forbidden City
After entering the Tiananmen Jinshui Bridge, he walked straight to the Forbidden City ticket office to buy tickets and rent an electronic explanation device. Tickets for the Forbidden City are 40 yuan per person, and the interpreter is 20 yuan per person.
Compared with the interpreter of Gong Wang's Mansion, the interpreter of the Forbidden City is average. The Forbidden City's commentator will only explain it once and will not repeat it. But if you don't know much about the culture of the Forbidden City, you can still rent one or rent a guide to explain it.
Follow the route of the commentator and shuttle among the red walls and yellow tiles of the Forbidden City. (If you had learned more about the Forbidden City before, it would definitely be very touching.)
After 3 or 4 hours of wandering around the Forbidden City. There are still some palaces that have not been reached.
As for Treasure Pavilion and Kowloon Wall, I didn't go to see it.
When you come out of Shenwu Gate, you will leave the palace.
(You have to spend a long time in the Forbidden City, so you can prepare some dry food by yourself)
It's not open inside, so I can only look around.
Jingshan Park
Go straight ahead and you will reach Jingshan Park.
You can see the entire Forbidden City from the Wanchun Pavilion in Jingshan Park. Naturally, there are not many people here.
Admission to Jingshan Park is 2 yuan.
The whole picture of the Forbidden City. Magnificent yam and hawthorn. 4 yuan each. I bought it from Jingshan on the way to Beihai Park.
Baked sweet potatoes are very sweet, 5 yuan each
Beihai Park
Wanchun Pavilion can also see the White Tower from afar. After seeing the entire Forbidden City, we went down the mountain and out of Jingshan.
It is only more than ten minutes away from Jingshan Park to Beihai Park.
It is already past four o'clock when we arrive at Beihai Park.
Admission to Beihai Park is 5 yuan.
The North Sea, which made us paddle, still didn't paddle a small boat.
In this weather, although the lake is not frozen, it is impossible for small boats to float.
The sky is clear and the air is clear, new branches are faintly emerging from the willow branches, wild ducks and mandarin ducks are playing in the lake, and the beautiful white pagoda is reflected in the lake...
Qianmen Street
The first reason why I come to Qianmen at night is to visit the famous Dazhalan, and the more important reason is to try the authentic old Beijing hot-boiled pork. For traditional old Beijing cuisine, the hot-boiled mutton can be said to be on the same footing as Beijing Roast Duck. The weather is getting cold, and it makes me feel great to think about eating a warm hot pot meal.
Xiyuanju Old Beijing Hot Pot
If you want to eat authentic hot-boiled mutton when you come to Beijing, you must go to Xiyuanju. It is located at No. 2, Qianmen Street. It is an old Beijing hot-boiled mutton restaurant worth a visit.
Xiyuanju Old Beijing Shabu is definitely not the popular Chongqing hot pot Old Beijing Shabu mutton is eaten by fresh mutton quality clear soup, add onions, ginger, wolfberry mutton, shabu a few times, pinch it, place it in sesame paste, and wrap it up. The taste, not to mention the full mutton aroma, delicious, is the kind of taste that becomes more addictive the more you eat
Xiyuanju Old Beijing Shabu Pork Shabu. Their family specializes in copper pot Shabu Pork Shabu. It is a famous old shop
Because I came early today, there were not many people in line today.
To open old Beijing hotpot in a place like Qianmen with ancient charm, you must have characteristics. This one is full of flavor. The partitioned private rooms are named after the names of the palaces in the Forbidden City, such as Xianfu Palace, Jingren Palace, Qixiang Palace, etc., which is quite interesting.
We ordered many specialty mutton, including our own Baitian sheep, fresh mutton, fresh melon strips, freshly cut beef, prawns, and various vegetables.
I also ordered two cold dishes. The mutton in the store is supplied directly from their own ranch in Neimeng. The meat quality must be significantly higher than that of similar restaurants.
My own fresh melon strips are very tender and tender
My own Hundred Days Sheep
There is an exquisite copper tray on each table. The hot pot is made like a handicraft, which is pleasing to the eye.
The tableware is all this bright yellow porcelain tableware. I always feel like I have a hint of royal atmosphere in Beijing, haha ~
The meat quality of my own Baitian sheep is the most tender and tender, and the upper brain of the sheep contains the most fat, but the taste cannot be expressed in words.
Moreover, this old Beijing mutton hotpot is very different from hot pot. The mutton hotpot tastes much more particular than hot pot. The sauce alone is very particular. The secret sesame sauce is made of 31 kinds of seasonings.
When the dipping sauce is prepared, the eating method is also very particular. Generally speaking, the boiled meat is directly placed into the dipping sauce. However, this is not the case in old Beijing. The boiled mutton must be placed on a small plate and spoon the dipping sauce on the meat according to your mouth position. In this way, the mutton soup will not drip into the sesame sauce. Even if it is eaten at the end, the taste will still be the same as the first bite. I have to say that this eating method is very reasonable
After rinsing the meat, the soup base becomes more delicious. I couldn't wait to slide the whole plate of shrimps into the pan ~ This shrimp is made of real ingredients, so you can eat fresh shrimps and have a springy taste.
The delicacy is often only known after trying it. The ingredients in Xiyuanju are very fresh, especially the meat recommendations of the various fresh mutton in their store. It tastes great with the sesame paste in the store. And the amount of food is also very affordable.
On a cold winter night in Beijing, it is wonderful to go shopping after eating hot pot and shabu pork.
day 2
Badaling Great Wall
By bus to Deshengmen, you can take 877 and 919 to Badaling. 877 may be more convenient. When we went there on the fifth day of the lunar new day, there were too many people, and the 877 team could no longer see its end. I couldn't wait for 877 before I sat on 919. But the whole way was jammed, and it took almost 5 hours to drive. It was already one or two in the afternoon when we arrived at the free shuttle bus. (After arriving at Badaling Station, there is a free shuttle bus to the ticket office of the Badaling Great Wall.)
I'm really not in a good mood due to traffic jams. There are various queues to buy tickets. If I want to take a bus back, climbing the Great Wall is an impossible task. We chose a round-trip cableway for 140 yuan per person.
When the traffic started, everything couldn't stop, and the cable car team was also blocked all the way. It's only 4 o'clock when we get on the cable car.
There are too many people on the Great Wall, and it feels like it is difficult to move an inch. Climb to the 8th beacon tower and play for a while before taking the cableway down.
I took the shuttle bus back to the bus station. It was also the No. 919 bus back, but it was much faster than when I arrived. It took more than 2 hours to reach Deshengmen.
I accidentally saw the night view of Shichahai.
The night in Beijing is beautiful
yandai xiejie
National Olympic sports Center
Arrived after nine o'clock and came in before closing.
The reason why it was late was that there were few people and it was very quiet.
day 3
yuanmingyuan
The ticket office of Yuanmingyuan is a few steps away from the subway station.
This royal garden is also really big, and I walked around for about 3 hours.
It's still the first month, and the garden still has a New Year flavor
Tsinghua University
When you come out of Yuanmingyuan, walk left and walk across the road to the west gate of Tsinghua University. You can enter from 1:30 pm and you need to show your ID card
There are many car rental places on campus. Mostly bicycles. We were tired from walking that day, so we rented an electric car. 50 yuan an hour. Bicycles are 20 yuan per person, so you can play for as long as you like.
summer Palace
Come out of the West Gate of Tsinghua University, walk back to the bus stop at the gate of Yuanmingyuan, and take a bus to the Summer Palace. It takes about 3 stops.
It was nearly 4 o'clock in the afternoon when I arrived at the Summer Palace. I didn't rush away. I found a chair and sat down and watched the sunset in the Summer Palace.
Shimao tianjie
After leisurely eating, I took the subway to the World Trade Center, but there was no direct access.
It takes more than twenty minutes to walk when the subway gets off at Dongdaqiao Station. Pass by Beijing Qiaofu Fangcao.
There is nothing very interesting about the World Trade Center. After shopping for a while, I was ready to go back. On the way, I harvested an old Beijing popsicle. Eating popsicles in winter is really cool.
day 4
Cihui Hutong Morning Photo
gongwangfu
Get off the bus at Beihai Station, and it takes about 7 or 8 minutes to walk to Gong Wangfu. Tickets are 40 yuan per person, and renting an interpreter is also 40 yuan per person. The interpreter of Gong Wang's Mansion is still very good at explaining, and I personally think it is worth renting one.
The entire structure of Gong Wang Mansion is very exquisite and worth visiting carefully.
We walked around for about three hours.
Legend has it that He Shen had no children at that time, and the officials below knew what he was thinking and gave him a stone. It symbolizes sending off children and symbolizes blessing. Viewed from behind the stone, it looks like a fish jumping out of the water; from the front, it looks like holding a child in its arms. He Shen was overjoyed and erected this stone in this blessed garden.
After that, He Shen's wife gave birth to a boy. Emperor Qianlong named him Fengshen Yinde and married him to his favorite princess.
You need to buy extra tickets to listen to the theater, which is about 70 yuan per person. I didn't go in.
In spring, the wisteria flowers will bloom and they will be extremely beautiful
Qingfeng Steamed Bun Shop (Beihai Park Store)
There is a Qingfeng steamed bun shop not far from Gong's Mansion.
The steamed buns taste okay, but they are not particularly delicious.
The taste of this pickled cabbage is really bad. It's not very delicious. The jelly is not bad, but the portions are a little full.
Maoer Hutong
This is a cheese shop in Maoer Hutong. The cheese is delicious. 15 yuan per serving.
There was a small shop I found in Maoer Hutong. Duck blood vermicelli was the store's signature.
yandai xiejie
nanluoguxiang neighborhood Tuesday, breathing
Temple of Heaven
I originally planned to go to Tiantan Park early the next day. As a result, it was not too late to go through the hutongs, so I took the subway to Tiantan Park. It was already 4:30 when I arrived at the ticket office. I thought I could still buy tickets before 5:00.
As a result, there were tickets, but they did not include scenic spots such as the Hall of Prayer for Nien. You can only look at it from the outside. I was really a little disappointed.
Children who are going please come early. There are no scenic spot tickets for sale after 3:30 p.m.
Many elderly people in Tiantan Park carry out activities here, playing cards and kicking shuttlecock.
Wangfujing pedestrian street
Wangfujing Commercial Street is basically some buildings. Later, when you stroll into the pedestrian street, I still prefer Qianmen.
Want to see the night on Chang 'an Street, we turned to Tiananmen Square. It's quite a long journey, so I suggest taking a car.
The night on Chang 'an Street is beautiful.
VIP Building.
I was tired after walking in front of Tiananmen Square, so I didn't go to Qianmen to eat the Four Seasons Mingfu Roast Duck. I went back to Di 'anmen to eat boiling fish. It was really good, but it tasted a little too strong.
day 5
Take photos before leaving
Goodbye, Beijing!!!
Everywhere I go, I always think I will go again, but I really don't know when...
