The Summer Palace is the most completely preserved royal palace.

The Hall of Renshou was an important place where Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty spent the summer in the garden. It was the main venue for political activities in the park. Since ancient times, the dragon symbolizes the emperor, sitting in the world and ranking in the middle; the phoenix represents the queen, managing the harem and standing aside. However, after Cixi took charge of government affairs from behind the curtain, she broke the traditional way of putting dragon and phoenix to reflect her supreme status and power above the emperor. Put the phoenix in the middle and the dragon on the sides.

The corridor is the longest corridor in the world and has been included in the "Guinness World Records". Every beam on the corridor is painted with more than 14000 pictures in total, including landscapes, flowers, birds, fish and insects, characters and allusions, etc. The figure paintings on the beam are all based on Chinese classical classics and can be enjoyed while walking. This is the test of the knowledge reserve ~~

Kunming Lake is the largest lake in the royal gardens of the Qing Dynasty. Tongniu is on the east bank of Kunming Lake and on the north side of the east bridge of the 17th Confucius Bridge. It is used to suppress flood disasters. Made of copper, it is called "Golden Ox". The Seventeen-Arch Bridge is located on Kunming Lake. It is the largest stone bridge in the park and consists of 17 bridge holes. More than 500 stone lions of different sizes and shapes are carved on the railings on both sides of the stone bridge. Every year during the winter solstice, the Seventeen-Arch Bridge in the Summer Palace becomes a star on the winter solstice. You can take long-distance pictures from the promenade, and the viewing effect is good.

Foxiang Pavilion is located in the middle of the front mountain of Wanshou Mountain. It is a building with eight sides, three floors and four double eaves. Its structure is complex. It is a masterpiece among classical buildings and a landmark building in the whole park. The Paiyun Hall is connected to the archway, Paiyun Gate, Jinshui Bridge, and Ergong Gate in a straight line that rises layer by layer. This group of buildings is the most spectacular architectural group in the Summer Palace. We can enjoy the beauty of the mountains and rivers of the Summer Palace calmly and indulgently to satisfy our spiritual enjoyment and needs.

Leshou Hall is the bedroom of Cixi Cixi. Leshou Hall faces Kunming Lake in front, supports Wanshou Mountain on the back, reaches Renshou Hall in the east, and connects to the corridor in the west. It is the best place to live and play in the park. Flowers in the courtyard are magnolias, crabapple, peony, etc., the courtyard is filled with famous flowers, implying the meaning of "Jade Hall Prosperity".

Qing Yanfu, commonly known as Shifang, is the only Western-style building in the Summer Palace. The stone is 36 meters long and is made of marble carvings for the ship. The ship has a two-story ship building. The bottom of the ship is paved with tiled bricks, the windows are stained glass, and the top is decorated with brick carvings. A beautiful building that combines Chinese and Western culture, be sure to come and appreciate its style!
