Yuanmingyuan was once called the "Garden of Thousands of Gardens". Its scale and architectural style are second to none in the world. Unfortunately, such a magnificent and beautiful building was burned down by a group of bandits.

The first time I came to Yuanmingyuan was in about 1982. Xu Guodong from Tsinghua University took me here to visit it. That was also the first time I learned about Yuanmingyuan. At that time, I mainly went to the Dashui site, which was surrounded by wasteland and no one cared for it. The second time I visited Yuanmingyuan was in the summer of 1991. The company organized a tour to visit it. After years of continuous repair and restoration, a large-scale park with ruins and water scenery has been formed here.

May 3 is in the middle of the May Day holiday. Seeing that I could still book tickets for that day, I decided to join in the fun. The children said that you were going to visit people. On the subway, my daughter said that someone posted a post and someone queued for 2 hours at the south gate to enter. However, our tickets marked the entrance of Zhengjue Temple. The entrance was smooth and there was no waiting in line. There was a stone carving in front of Zhengjue Temple. It was written by Mr. Ouyang Zhongshi. Yes, the humiliating era that was ravaged and trampled on cannot be forgotten at any time. There were not many people visiting Zhengjue Temple. We first visited Zhengjue Temple. Zhengjue Temple has an exhibition with twelve animal heads. When we saw the returning national treasure, we deeply felt that only when we are strong can we have dignity.

When entering Yuanmingyuan, I was immediately attracted by the scenery in front of me. It was really "the spring modai scenery opens from its own perspective, and the clear water and small bridges come into the painting." Walking along the lake shore, the green willows sway in the wind, making it beautiful. Seeing bougainvillea and chrysanthemums blooming in each other, it can be said that "the willow trees in the sky are infinitely green, and the flowers in the sun are very red."

At the food sales office, I saw a lively scene, as if they were spending other people's money, rushing to scan the code to pay. It was really "a name like clouds and gold, and I was content with joy for a while."

The water features of Yuanmingyuan are spectacular, with swarms of fish swimming happily, mandarin ducks and wild ducks playing leisurely, and different cruise ships are also distributed in different areas. Tourists can feel relaxed and happy when rowing or taking a boat on the lake. If they spend money on a boat, they will naturally be happy. It is really "the scenery far and near cannot be traced, and the light boat can leisurely dig out its wallet."

We took a cruise ship from Kingfisher Wharf to the Panorama Model Pier, and bought tickets for another 10 yuan to visit the "Yuanmingyuan Panorama Model Exhibition in its Prosperity". Although it was just a model, we still felt that the excitement would be difficult to calm down for a long time. If such a great building was still here today, it is undoubtedly a precious property of all mankind. The combination of Chinese and Western landscapes in the park is a first-class grandeur. It is really "this scene should only exist in the sky, and it is the only time in the world to hear it."

Then we go to the Xiyanglou Ruins, where an additional 15 yuan ticket is charged. The buildings in Xiyanglou Scenic Area were the key landscape of Yuanmingyuan at that time and a perfect display of the Sinicization of Western architecture. Today, they are in ruins and broken walls. Seeing the famous Dashui site and Haiyantang site, I immediately thought,"The shame of burning the garden has not yet been cleared. When will the hatred of the country be extinguished?" Driving a long eagle to break through the mountains of the Eight Kingdoms, I am hungry for Hu Krupp meat, and laughing about my thirst for foreign meat and blood. When we are strong, we will reorganize the old mountains and rivers and turn to the sky." The animal heads of the twelve zodiac animals that returned a few years ago were in front of Haiyan Hall.

In the Xiyanglou ruins, there is a building restored to its original appearance. It is Huanghuazhen, also known as Wanhuazhen. This is a garden built modeled on the European Civil Palace. The emperors, empresses, Baylor, Ge Ge and all the ministers of that time all held parties here. There are many garden pavilions and forks from the entrances to the center. It is very interesting to turn back and turn back. I thought that there was only one road to the center, and the other roads were all maze.

In its heyday, there were many bridges in the park. I saw a broken bridge. This was the only bridge remaining after the Yuanmingyuan was destroyed. It witnessed the prosperity and decline of Yuanmingyuan and today's peaceful and prosperous times.

Although the Yuanmingyuan Ruins Park has no longer had the style of its heyday, it still has the charm of a landscape garden. While appreciating the beautiful scenery, it does not forget to understand history. Here, one can be indignant and one can feel excited.
