There is a traditional ancient village-Cuandanxia Village in Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing City. It is located in the middle of the narrow valley northwest of Zhaitang in western Beijing, 90 kilometers away from Beijing, 650 meters above sea level, and a village area of 5.3 square kilometers. Cuandixia Village is built against the mountains, according to the situation, with scattered heights. With the village's Houlongtou Mountain as the center and the north and south as the axis, the entire village is spread on both sides in a fan shape.

There are more than 70 courtyards and nearly 700 buildings in the village, most of which are old buildings from the late Qing Dynasty. Old houses with blue bricks and gray tiles are stacked on the hillside and the valley bottom below, constituting the vicissitudes of the village. The charm, you can stroll in the village and take photos, which is very pleasant. Old buildings in the village can also be visited.

How to play in the village? Food and accommodation in farmhouses-experience pure ancient town life and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ancient village-halfway up the ancient village or viewing platform (There is a viewing platform on the mountainside of Jinchan Mountain about 200 meters opposite the village. It can overlook the entire village. It is a place where tourists who like to take photos go. Every sunrise and sunset, this is a place where good photography is taken.), must-visit attractions-Landlord Courtyard, Rich Man Courtyard, Guandi Temple, Yixiantian (which can be passed through by small buses), Yixiantian is 2 kilometers away from the village. Families with children and the elderly, it is recommended to drive there.

There are many inns to choose from for accommodation in the village. At present, the entire village has begun to serve as a farmhouse inn. The accommodation conditions here are relatively simple, but you can experience the farmhouse kang, taste local farmhouse dishes, and experience the authentic rural life. The price of an accommodation double room is about 100 yuan on weekdays, and about 150 yuan for a standard room. It will increase by tens of yuan on weekends. The accommodation fee will increase even more on May Day, National Day and other holidays. It is often booked early, and you need to call in advance for consultation.

Cuanxixia is a national A-level scenic spot. It is now renamed Cuanbai Scenic Area (including Baiyu Village). Tickets: 35 yuan/person, free of charge under 1.2 meters, and half price for people over 60 years old is 17 yuan (the ticket office is still 2 kilometers away from the ancient town). You can enter by car and there is no charge for parking. There are villages and attractions along the way, where you can eat, as well as shopping for agricultural products and specialties. There is also a post office affiliated to Zhaitang Town in the village, where you can buy some postcards and other postal products with local characteristics.

Self-driving route: Follow National Highway G109 and enter Zhaibai Road. Follow Zhaibai Road for 5.3 kilometers to the destination Cuanxixia Village.

Bus route: ① Subway Line 1 ends at the apple orchard, transfer to bus M22 to Zhaitang Station, and then transfer to bus M12 (small bus). It takes more than 20 minutes to reach Cuanxixia Village.② Subway Line 6 terminal station Exit C (Northwest Exit) at Jin 'anqiao Station. At the bus station at the northwest corner of the intersection, change to bus M22 at Jin' anqiao West Station. The bus ride is about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Get off at Zhaitang Station, and then change to M12 bus (small bus). It takes more than 20 minutes to reach Cuanxixia Village.③ Take Bus Rapid Transit Line 4 outside Fuchengmen, get off at Shijingshan Railway Station in 40 minutes, change to bus M22 to Zhaitang Station, and then change to bus M12 (small bus), and it takes more than 20 minutes to reach Cuandanxia Village.
