Our first stop came to Gushan Village, which has a long history and is located on the Yongding River Cultural Belt. It took less than half an hour to get there from Fucheng Road and take the Beijing cable.

Gushan Village is only one step away from the Yongding River. It has a complete farming education experience base that classifies farming in various eras in China. Scarecrow, tractor, harvester... The village has collected more than 100,000 pieces of farming equipment. The collection covers the entire agricultural development process and the transformation process of farming culture in the Yongding River Basin, completely restoring the era of do-it-yourself and abundant food and clothing. Let children in the city feel the life of the village.

Orange Seed also discovered the tricycle he rode as a child, full of childhood memories. In the children's playground, there are climbing ropes, trampolines, swings... Climbing the ninety-nine steps, you can lazily collapse on the pedaling boat and wander among the green mountains and clear waters. In front of the lake is the mountain stream walking path, which is gentle and easy to stop and go. The first waterfall is about half an hour, and it flows straight down into the pool.

In addition to the natural beauty, the alpine grass skiing project at the entrance of the scenic area is especially suitable for friends who like excitement. At the shooting range at the exit of the small train, you can experience air guns, and you will also meet a particularly enthusiastic and cheerful aunt. Across the shooting range is a children's playground, with slides, waterwheel, climbing, swings... There are too many projects, and the children have fun and don't miss home. Lively and lovely little figures can be seen everywhere.

Not far from Shuanglong Gorge is Cuanbai Scenic Area, where we stayed in Cuandixia Village. The village is built against a mountain, which is quite interesting.

A bird 's-eye view of the overall layout of the village is shaped like a "gourd" or a "ingot". The person who built the village intended to mean "blessing" and "gold and silver". The word "Cuan" is interpreted from the meaning of the word: home will never be divided into Cuan, that is, there will never be divided into families. With a history of more than 400 years, it is now a national key cultural relic protection unit, retaining more than 500 rooms and more than 70 sets of courtyard houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are ancient roads, ancient wells, ancient temples, ancient stage... Friends who want to experience the customs of ancient villages and century-old folk culture should not miss it.

The farmhouse dishes here are cheap and affordable, but the key thing is that they have a unique taste. Especially tofu soup. I don't know how to make it, but there is no fishy smell of tofu at all. There is also my favorite sweet and sour steak, which is super delicious!

The next day, I slept until I woke up naturally. After breakfast, I could walk on the Huancun plank road in the morning light, overlooking the entire village, and experience the magic of nature at Baiyu.

One mountain, one world, and hundreds of flowers.

Baihua Mountain is not exactly a mountain, but should be a mountain range. It belongs to the Yanshan Mountains. Due to the different areas it is located in, it is divided into Baihua Mountain in Mentougou, Baihua Mountain in Fangshan, Baicaoban in Fangshan, and Baicaicaoban in Yeshanpo.

The final goal of our trip is Baihua Mountain in Mentougou, whose top is a large alpine meadow.

Check in the diversity of animals and plants, and go up the steps from the entrance of the scenic spot. Along the road, Larix rupprechisprechtii, Platycladus orientalis, Populus david, Diansi, Golden Lotus, Wild Lily... Distributed on both sides of the steps and walking through the mountain paths, this place is completely different from the outside world. Tall plants, shrubs, and trees block the sky and the sun, forming a natural plant corridor. The forest is lush and has extremely high levels of negative oxygen ions.

Climb to the top of the mountain and admire the various wild flowers blooming on the meadow. On both sides of the long plank road, there are bright flowers of all colors, swaying in the wind, as beautiful as oil paintings.
