Emptiness in the Spirit-Emptiness expresses the ancient chapter of "Twenty-Four Poems" in Sikong Tu of the Tang Dynasty with a pure and ancient temperament. There are sixteen words in this chapter,"The moon rises in the east, and the good winds follow each other" and "The spiritual essence is empty, and the ridge is sealed off". It is as pleasant as ever to see it. The first eight characters are just like the beautiful state of mind and the beauty of continuous friendship; the last eight characters are like the intention of ten years of ancient times and the pursuit of them day by day-they are very consistent with themselves and painting.

He is arrogant when he or she is narrow-minded and imaginary. I clearly remember that at the beginning of my twenties, I said confidently, "even if the study reaches a degree of authenticity, what is the point?"... " Only the judgment of the real arrivals is credible. Now I have benefited a lot from the ancients in my skills, and I will no longer be as presumptuous as I was at that time. I have also learned to keep the self-confidence I have always had in my heart and put it into action. It has been exactly a decade from the amateur who graduated in 2011 to the professional painter who will have his first exhibition in 2021. During this period, a large number of temporary studies in painting and artistic studies have made me deeply realize the difficulties and ingenuity of traditional painting-traditional painting expressed by lines and pen and ink is the unique study of ancient times, but also a unique step in the world. We should know that modern and modern painting is greatly influenced by the West. When I was in high school, my art studies were sketching, sketching, gouache, and the masters I heard were Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Van Gogh and so on. Although the study of any kind of art can improve the basic quality of "observation" and "modeling", it is always a pity that I know too little about traditional painting; at the same time, I am convinced that this is what I have always loved. Still in the hobby stage and before, every time I saw calligraphy and painting in the museum, I would secretly yearn for it. At that time, I couldn't understand anything but was deeply attracted. It is the traction that makes me grow from a shallow hobby to a professional painter step by step. Of course, these improvements have benefited from the large and rich traditional painting and calligraphy exhibitions held by major museums in recent years, as well as the convenient viewing and learning channels brought about by the Internet. Thus, I am fortunate to see a large number of authentic calligraphy and painting, feel the charm of traditional painting up close, and make myself more convinced to go my own way. Yes, we should visit all the ancient classics and wash away the inherent painting habits. Let your favorite painting language go deep into the bone marrow, and then paint everything you want to paint. In the past, a large number of paintings, in addition to the classic paintings of ancient times, there are also a variety of customized small creations and a series of theme creations on a whim. These so-called creations are more of a normal display and display of their basic skills, which is not enough to admire them. As a painter who has demands on himself and pursues art, of course he will not be easily satisfied. "A towering tree must have a root"-it still needs to be firmly rooted in a calm state of mind. As always, maintain self-confidence, follow your heart and walk out of your own pace. What's more, we should not only acquire the ancient holy learning in terms of skills, but also understand its essence in mind. The former determines the ability and level of painting, while the latter affects the style and style of painting. While learning painting techniques, he is always under the influence of culture. Temporary study of figure painting, understand the characteristics of figures in various periods and cultural customs; temporary study of landscape painting, awaken their own love and feelings for natural rivers and mountains; temporary study of flower-and-bird painting, pay attention to 04:00 changes, do not forget the beauty of the world …... To think, culture, self-cultivation and skill are the roots of one's own paintings. There is a natural love for painting, and there is a lot of deliberate layout; over the past ten years, what I have thought and put into practice, as expressed by the theme of this exhibition-- modesty to preserve the temperament of Gao Gu. Over the past ten years, the postscript has painted countless works, which have been fortunately collected by various collectors. most of the paintings in this exhibition are recent masterpieces of the ancients and small creations rebuilt from ancient times, covering characters, landscapes, flowers and birds, and other themes. it is also a selection of all kinds of themes. It is not only a phased display, but also the prelude to the next stage.
