Almost all tourists coming to Beijing go to Tiananmen Square, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and even Beihai and Jingshan. However, many people have given up on the parks on both sides of Tiananmen Square, namely Zhongshan Park on the west side and the Working People's Cultural Palace on the east side. The reason why they gave up was that they did not understand it.

Think about it carefully. When looking at the Forbidden City, the intuitive thing is to look at the buildings. There are houses one after another, with splendid red walls and glazed tiles. Except for the imperial garden, there is almost no natural landscape. If you have not studied the architectural structure, the impression of the Forbidden City is more of a lament about the size of the houses, especially the Throne Hall, so some people find it boring after seeing it. In fact, in addition to architectural culture, visiting the Forbidden City also includes cultural relics and culture that require secondary ticket purchases. Those are classics, but many people choose to give up, so they often think that there is no place worth seeing in the Forbidden City. If this is the case, I think when visiting Beijing, you can choose to visit Zhongshan Park and the Working People's Cultural Palace.

First of all, the tickets to these two parks are very cheap, one is 2 yuan and the other is 3 yuan. They are very cheap all over the country. Secondly, the cultural heritage and landscape inside are very good.

Since the autumn of 1982, I have been to these two parks many times, and each time I have made different discoveries and feelings.

Zhongshan Park is the royal altar of land and grain. It is the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties sacrificed sacrifices to the gods of the earth and the gods of grain. The emperor prayed for good weather and rain, so that the people can live and work in peace and contentment, that the country is peaceful and the people are safe, and that he can rest assured of a long life. During the Republic of China, Dr. Sun Yat-sen passed away in Beijing. His coffin was parked here for people to come to express condolences and pay homage. In order to commemorate this revolutionary pioneer, this place was renamed Zhongshan Park.

In addition to the main buildings such as the worship hall, the more famous ones in Sun Yat-sen Park are the Defending Peace Square, the statue of Sun Yat-sen, the Zhongshan Hall, the Eight Pillars of the Orchid Pavilion, the Tanghuawu, the Motto Pavilion, the Music Hall, etc., as well as the ancient trees, the locust cypresses, and the moat of the Forbidden City can be boated. There are also spectacular rockery and lake water surrounding the rockery in the courtyard. The lake bank is lined with trees, which is particularly beautiful when reflected on the water. Along the stream path, you will come to Jinyu Pavilion and other buildings, which naturally form beautiful pictures. Indeed, Zhongshan Park is a good place for couples to make love and talk to each other. There was once a blind date corner here, but I don't know if there is still one now. Zhongshan Park really has such an atmosphere.

There are flowers here all year round, Huifang Garden has precious orchids, and also gifts from Chairman Zhu De. Of course, in spring, peach blossoms, crabapple, lilacs, green peaches, peony, wisteria, rose, peony and other flowers bloom one after another. There is also the tulip flower exhibition held from April to early May every year. At this time, the Zhongshan Park is overflowing with flowers, and it looks even more gorgeous against the red walls, gold tiles and green silk ribbons. If a couple really "flowers have fragrance and fragrance," Embracing a beautiful woman, you can forget it."

Fishing can be done in Yuyuan, which is a history. Twenty years ago, I brought my daughter here to fish, and now my granddaughter can still come here to fish.

Compared with Zhongshan Park, the Working People's Cultural Palace is quieter. The moat here can also be used for boating and leisure. The ancient cypresses in the park reach the sky. There are cypresses planted by Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty and cypresses planted by successive princes. They have experienced vicissitudes and different looks. These big trees record and witness the great changes in history. At Ximenkou, near the Wumen Gate of the Forbidden City, there is a cypress tree growing on an eight-meter-high branch. It is green and green. It is spectacular and worth a visit.

The Working People's Cultural Palace was once the ancestral temple of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Whenever there was a major event, the royal family would come to report or ask for instructions from their ancestors and pray for their protection. With the end of the Qing Dynasty, this place lost its original value. After the liberation of China, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference once worked here, and memorial services for many national leaders such as Premier Zhou and Chairman Zhu De were also held here.

Nowadays, there are also some exhibitions here. When I went, I was holding the Zhonghua Bell and the "Picture Exhibition of China Dream of Labor Hundred Model Workers in the Beauty of China". In the exhibition, I saw the style of model workers from the Yan 'an period to the present. These model workers have contributed to the motherland. Youth and made contributions to the people, and the people of the Republic and the country will always remember them.

The scenery of the Working People's Cultural Palace is also unique and worth a visit. I don't remember having been here several times, but I have all gained new insights.

When you come to Beijing to visit, you might as well include this place in your itinerary plan, and you will surely have unexpected rewards.
