On January 1, 2022, hosted by Beijing Xingtan Art Museum and co-organized by Beijing Xingtan Art Photography"The Image of All Things-Liu Jinxia's Painting Works Exhibition"It opened in the second floor exhibition hall of Beijing Xingtan Art Museum.

Exhibition Preface

I have been exploring the field of Chinese painting art for more than ten years. Becoming multiple teachers and eclectic has always been my learning criterion. On the road to creation, I was once fascinated by many "visual scenes", such as early spring when "the spring is seen early as steaming", the river and autumn scenery that "colored with colors", the snow scenery of the village where "light ink is like a dream", and the lofty and indifferent "Ink Splashing Immortal"... I have also been immersed in the color of nature several times, strolling in the mountains and forests, watching flowing springs and waterfalls, the roaring springs and rocks, the reclusive fish and woodworks, and the singing of apes and cranes, so as to talk to all life in the universe.

This "Image of All Things" exhibition covers works with multiple themes such as mountains and rivers, flowers and birds, figures, and beasts. They are the "spirits of all things" that I pay attention to, and also the "visual objects" that express myself. They are full of my thoughts on materials, ink expression, modeling, space,"creation", writing and creation transformation: The reverence for life in "Endless Life", the understanding of the "creation" and "transformation" of nature in "The Picture of the Peak of the Yanjiang River", the reflection of the beauty of time and space in "The Smelling Rose Series", and the fragrance of tea in "Elegance" Remembering... Li Keran said that the study and creation of Chinese painting must be "fought in with the greatest skill and fought out with the greatest courage." This is also my learning path to realize my artistic ideals.

About everything in the world, we start with our heart and end with our pen.

Liu Jinxia

Born in 1990 in Xinxiang, Henan

Graduated from Capital Normal University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree.

In 2017, he studied for a master's degree at the School of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and studied under Professor Qiu Ting.

Young artist Liu Jinxia is committed to thinking and studying the material medium, pen and ink form, the secondary creation of ancient paintings, and the transformation and integration of sketching creations of Chinese painting. In his true touch with nature, he uses his unique visual form to truly depict the beautiful "phase of all living beings" in nature. There are mountains and rivers hidden among the peaks, and the appearance of flowers, birds and beasts is reproduced in a stone's throw. He uses "the charm of the Tang Dynasty, the mountains and valleys of the Song Dynasty,"The Pen and Ink of the Yuan Dynasty" praises the grace and endless vitality of nature, conveys the spiritual portrayal of "the image of all things", and expresses his infinite deep affection for nature. On the basis of learning from the ancients and benefiting from multiple teachers, we form our own unique artistic language, which is meticulous, delicate, subtle but not without losing its integrity, elegance and grace, and the painting is as good as the face...
