Beijing Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Area has rich and colorful cultural landscapes. North line

The north line is characterized by dangerous boulders and the most dense scenic spots. Fenghuang Ridge belongs to the corner of the West Mountain in Beijing. Unlike other peaks, there are not many trees on the mountain, mainly huge rocks, mainly weathered huge rocks, including typical coastal landforms. Some mountain roads on the northern line are cut on huge rocks. The steepest slope of the road can reach 90 degrees. It is very thrilling to climb. Some of the huge rocks are almost impossible to turn around, and even require climbing with both hands and feet, which is full of excitement. According to the normal physical strength of adults, it takes more than 3 hours to climb the top of the mountain, but there are many steps, with more than 2000 stone steps. The difficulty is the greatest of the three routes. If you like rock climbing or mountain climbing enthusiasts, you can choose the northern route.

midline

The middle line is dominated by Longquan Temple. The entire route takes on a "0" shape, with a total length of more than 2000 meters, which is much smaller than the circle on the southern line. It can climb around the nearby hills for a week. The physical energy consumption also belongs to the three routes. The least of the routes takes the least time, making it a very suitable route for the elderly and children.

south line

The southern line is relatively flat, mainly for viewing the natural scenery of Fenghuang Ridge, and climbing will not be too difficult. The southern route is also the most wooded route among the three routes. There are many wild pecans in the mountains, and you can also pick up wild pecans in Walnut Gully. It is also the route with the most cultural attractions. Miaojue Temple, Huangpuyuan and other temples form a triangular route of religious and cultural attractions. The estimated tour time on the southern line will take about 6 hours. Starting from the starting point, you don't have to go back. Keep going along the southern line and you will directly return to the original point. If you want to travel more easily and want to see more attractions, you can choose the southern route. Although it takes the longest time, there are many attractions to visit, which requires relatively low physical strength. You can also pick up wild pecans and experience fun.

3. Longquan Temple

Longquan Temple is located in the Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Area, at the foot of Fenghuangling Mountain in the West Mountain of Beijing. It is a Han Buddhist temple built in the early years of Yingli of the Liao Dynasty. The two vigorous cypress trees in front of the mountain gate are more than 600 years old. There are also two thick and straight ginkgo trees and two ancient cypress trees in the temple. As of 2015, they are thousands of years old. The original site of Longquan Temple faces west and east, and an ancient stone bridge with a single hole in the temple is still well preserved.
