There are two cable car companies on the Mutianyu Great Wall. One is the "Box Cable Car Twin Cities" managed by the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area. The other is the "Cableway and Slide Two-way" company operated by a third-party company. You can choose to go up the mountain and down the mountain. The fares of these two companies are the same, so everyone can choose. The enclosed cable car we chose is relatively safe

★ Great Wall Tour Route:

1. Take the cable car to and from the scenic area to the No. 14 beacon tower, and walk from the No. 14 beacon tower to the No. 20 beacon tower.

2. The cableway goes up to the Great Wall and the slideway goes down to the Great Wall. You can take it at Beacon No. 6. You need to walk from Beacon No. 6 to Beacon No. 20.

3. From beacon tower No. 8 or 10 to beacon tower No. 20, the whole journey is about 5 kilometers and the whole journey is on foot.

Options 2 and 3 are recommended for those with good physical strength and without the elderly or children. Options 1 are recommended for those with the elderly, children, or those who are afraid of heights.
