pre-departure preparation

1. Book a room

The only principle for selecting a tourist hotel in Changsha is close to Wuyi Square!! Wuyi Square is located at the intersection of Changsha Metro Lines 1 and 2. It is within walking distance of Taiping Old Street, Pozi Street, Huangxing Pedestrian Street and other snack streets. Famous attractions such as Juzizhoutou, Yuelu Mountain, and Meixi Lake also have direct transportation.

There are many hotels around Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, but if you have holidays, you must book your room two weeks in advance, and at least one week in advance on ordinary weekends.

Home Inn Business Travel Pedestrian Street Store

I booked a business trip at Home Inn located on Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street. The price was just over 200 yuan. The room was spacious, clean and sanitary, slept comfortably, and the service was also very thoughtful. Different from general convenient hotels, Home Inn is a very cost-effective hotel in Changsha in terms of environment and service. I recommend it to everyone.

2. Essential items

Power charging treasure, data cable, umbrella, comfortable shoes, napkins (try to prepare as many as possible for going to the snack street), and if your stomach is poor or you can't eat spicy food, you must remember to prepare stomach medicine and diarrhea medicine. In addition, remember to download a [Changsha Metro] APP on your mobile phone in advance and complete registration. If you recharge, 20 is enough. Then when you get off the high-speed rail, you will find that everyone else is crowded at the ticket vending machine to buy tickets, and you directly align the bus code with the gate. You can enter the station directly. Isn't it cool?

itinerary

DAY1:

I arrived in Changsha at around 12 o'clock, so after settling my luggage, I walked to the Wenheyou Lobster Restaurant in Hisense Square to prepare for a big meal. This store specializes in Hunan cuisine and crayfish. It has five floors and is very large. The interior decoration of the store is in the style of old Changsha in the 1980s and 1990s. It is very popular and takes about 40 minutes to eat it.

Recommended dishes are [Flavor Shrimp],[Fried Shrimp],[Rice Bibimbap with Lard] and [Juewei Bullfrog]. Among the two shrimp types, I prefer [Fried Shrimp]. The plump shrimp meat is combined with a special dipping sauce, and every bite is very satisfying.

Remember not to eat too much at Wenheyou Lobster Restaurant, because there are snack streets waving to me in the afternoon. You can walk from Hisense Square to [Taiping Old Street],[Pozi Street],[Sanwang Street],[Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street] and other snack streets. These snack streets are connected end to end, so you can visit them all in an afternoon!

Before going shopping, have a cup of tea with [Tea Beauty]. This Chinese-style milk tea shop is only available in Changsha. It is an authentic "Changsha specialty". In Taiping Old Street, everyone has a cup and one shop is five meters away. There is also a long line at the door of each store...

Naturally, when you have snacks, you can't let go of drinks. The most famous ones in Changsha are the [Wenheyou Series Snacks]: Wenheyou stinky tofu, Wenheyou sausage, etc. There are long queues at the entrance of every store. Compared with the slightly dry taste of stinky tofu in other homes, the stinky tofu in this store is more crispy, juicy and delicious, and has a fuller taste. The meat of the big sausage is firm and satisfying in one bite! The most important thing is that you can eat a variety of snacks in one queue, which solves the trouble of having to queue up multiple times.

Walking on Pozi Street, you will see the famous landmark "Fire Palace". However, under the booming skin, it covers basically all the shortcomings of online celebrity stores: expensive food, many people, and poor taste... It is recommended to go to the door and make a card. Don't eat anything inside! Remember to have a [Shao Fu Ji Plum and Vegetable Buzz Pie] to be full of vitality.

As night fell and it coincided with a friend's birthday, we decided to take a taxi to the Fisherman's Wharf. What came into view was the endless night view of the Xiangjiang River. We chose a "Commune Bar" with a relatively good environment. The location was set up inside and outside the store. The atmosphere inside and outside the store is relatively lively, suitable for family gatherings for friends and family, and enjoy a rare weekend amidst laughter. Outside the store is more suitable for colleagues or business partners. Beautiful scenery and fine wine can temporarily relieve the pressure of work.

We chose an indoor location, ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, paired with the thin-skinned durian pizza, and sent birthday wishes while pushing and changing cups. I have to admit that Changsha's bar culture does have its unique charm, which makes people intoxicated and lingering.

It was already 10:30 p.m. after getting out of the bar, but we couldn't stop wanting to eat and play, so we took a taxi to the famous Changsha night market-Dongguashan night market.

It was nearly eleven o'clock when we got off the bus, but the Dongguashan Night Market was still crowded. Dongguashan's famous "Dongguashan Sausage","Dandan Hot Stewed", and "Perilla Peach Ginger" are all good choices. Here we especially recommend Dandan Hot Steaming Four-in-One Hot Steaming. The so-called Four-in-One means choosing four dishes to make hot steaming, two meats and two veggies. I chose a combination of beef, chicken feet, mushroom mushrooms and shredded seaweed. The spicy taste made me more addicted the more I ate it.

Perfect first day! Ending!

The next day:

How can I have less powder when I come to Changsha? After getting up at eight o'clock, we walked directly to the "Sister Si Flour Restaurant" located on Pozi Street for breakfast. Since Zhang Yixing had been there, the boss specially launched the Zhang Yixing set meal. Sister Si's flour ingredients were really sufficient, and the price was also sincere. The price was also the price of cabbage. You can actually see large pieces of beef when you ordered beef flour!

In order to take care of spicy people, two plates of dried peppers are specially placed at each table. If you want to enjoy the spicy food, you may want to add a few more spoonfuls.

After eating and drinking enough, you can walk a few hundred meters to the landmark building in Changsha [IFS]. There are many graffiti walls on the first floor, which is easy to find. It is the best choice to use a camera to record false siblings. KAWS dolls on the seventh floor recommend taking half-length solo photos. For the specific best shooting angle, you can also refer to the Internet celebrities on Xiaohongshu.

It is recommended to climb [Yuelu Mountain]. When you hear about mountain climbing, you must not help but frown after having had a sore back from playing the past two days. Here is a plan that is particularly suitable for a fat house like me (I don't want to climb mountains but want to see the scenery)-Take No. 202 (2 yuan per person) from Bajiaoting Bus Station in Wuyi Square to get off at Taozi Lake Bus Station. After getting off the bus, walk right and go straight to the right direction. You can cross through Hunan University and go straight to the south gate of Yuelu Mountain. Before climbing Yuelu Mountain, it is recommended to visit Hu University first. The campus is lined with trees, and the buildings of each department have designs that suit the characteristics of its disciplines, showing the cultural heritage of a thousand-year-old school.

Yuelu Academy is not far from the Institute of Foreign Languages. It can be easily found through map navigation. Tickets are slightly more expensive than 40 per person. This is also a rare fee-paying attraction in Changsha. Enter from the main gate of the academy and visit the main gate, second gate and lecture hall. After visiting the main gate, and lecture hall, don't forget to visit the garden on the left and the library pavilion on the right.

There is a [MAMACHA] on the top of Yuelu Mountain. It is hidden in the forest and has an indescribable sense of comfort. This mamacha is also a local tea and beverage shop in Changsha. It was often seen in Wuyi Square and Taiping Street before. It is different from the simple decoration style of tea color. Every store in MAMACHA is very exquisite. The modern decoration and sexually indifferent style are unconsciously attracted in.

Fruit teas are relatively refreshing in summer, among which I pick the most is the [Bo Bo Tea]. It does not have the greasy flavor of ordinary fruit teas blended with creamer, leaving only a refreshing taste and a light fruit aroma. [Chixia Milk Tea] and [Hepburn Coco] are also good. You can try them both if you have the opportunity.

After visiting Huda and Yuelu Mountain, take bus No. 202 and return the same way. You will have a pleasant return trip in the afternoon!

Tips:

1: Travel money to Changsha is mainly spent on travel expenses and accommodation. Most attractions in Changsha are free, and snacks are also very cheap. The recommended budget is 1,600 - 2,000.

2. The reason why Yuelu Mountain doesn't go up from the east gate: The main attractions of Yuelu Mountain are basically in the south, and there are no attractions in the east. Entering from the east gate, you can either climb the top of the mountain and then go down the mountain to the south, or choose a cable car with a 30-person to send it to the top of the mountain. During holidays, the cable car team can circle Yuelu Mountain several times, and from the south, you can check in to Huda, Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion and other attractions at the same time. The whole journey takes less than an hour.

3: Hunan cuisine is basically very spicy. If you can't eat it too spicy, don't try to be brave. You can tell me to put less spicy food.

4: I struggled for a long time on what to bring delicious food on the return journey. Finally, I went to the [Wenheyou Stinky Tofu Museum] on Taiping Street to bring something. It was cheap, special and delicious. Recommended!!

I hope to come to Changsha again when I have the opportunity
