When I was a child, I wanted to come to Changsha when I watched Hunan TV. However, Changsha has never been scheduled for travel in the past two years. We all went to places such as Qinghai, Hulunbuir, and Xizang. They were far away and had many natural landscapes.
I haven't gone out for a long time this year due to the epidemic. The first trip was arranged in Changsha.
For a total of four days, we drove by ourselves all the way, saving time waiting for the bus, allowing us to visit two or three more attractions, and the time was more free.
Car rental companies suggest that you choose a large company, but we choose Yihi car rental. Book a car on the Yihi APP in advance. After arriving at the airport, contact their staff to pick up people at the airport, and go to a nearby store to complete the car collection procedures. Nowadays, cars are disinfected every day, making them very clean and at ease. Changsha's road conditions are very good. You don't need to rent an expensive car. Just an ordinary five-seat sedan is enough. This time, I rented the car and used a coupon of 100 yuan for the first rent. Basically, the daily rent plus fuel is only 120 yuan.
Zhongshan Pavilion
We rented the car, put our luggage in the trunk, and we went to play. The first stop is Zhongshan Pavilion. The attractions are not very big. Here you can see the life and deeds of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
No tickets are required.
Mont Pelerin Society
Chuanshan Society is not far from Zhongshan Pavilion. It only takes six or seven minutes to walk there. We drove there, so that we wouldn't have to come back to Zhongshan Pavilion to drive.
Chuanshan Society has also gone through historical changes. At first, it was just Zeng Guofan's Temple, but later it became a self-study university.
The scenic spot is also very famous. There is also Mao Zedong's bedroom here.
I originally thought Changsha was full of delicious food, but it turned out that this place was also a very suitable place for red education. (Think about it, this is where a generation of great people lived.)
Baisha Ancient Well
Baisha Ancient Well is regarded as a park. As soon as I arrived at the door, I saw the lush greenery inside, with many trees, and lush branches and leaves blocking the sun, so it was very cool here. The most famous Baisha Ancient Well is a well here. It is said that the spring water is particularly sweet. Unfortunately, we didn't bring a water cup, otherwise we could still get water.
Many Changsha citizens come to pick up water. People often pick up a large bucket of water and drink it home.
tianxin Pavilion
Tianxin Pavilion is also a very famous attraction in Changsha. Changsha is also an ancient historical city, but now only Tianxin Pavilion has become a relatively iconic ancient city building.
You can see Guan Yu fighting Huang Zhong in Tianxin Pavilion. Now due to the epidemic, it is not broadcast here. When I was writing this article, I saw that the hot searches were now allowed to open in cinemas, and I guess the movie here will be on the air soon.
Tickets are 30 yuan. Parking fee is 15 yuan. Because of the special significance of the attractions, this price is quite worth it.
Tianxin Pavilion is a relatively large attraction. Time allows, you can play in it for two to three hours. We just looked around briefly.
The roads inside are also well built and feel very friendly to people with disabilities. The road is smooth and it is no problem to play in a wheelchair.
Changsha Bamboo Slips Museum
After coming out of Tianxin Pavilion, we also went to the Changsha Bamboo Slips Museum. Note that this is not the Hunan Province Museum. There are quite a lot of historical relics in the museum.
As soon as I arrived at the door, I saw these small fountains. Although the water was not high, they were still very beautiful.
It seems that the exhibitions in the museum have always had different themes, and when we went, what we showed was the "Road to Civilization". What I saw inside was mainly some things from the Wu slips of the Three Kingdoms, which was very interesting. Anyway, I like this place extremely much.
In fact, in addition to the provincial expo, many small museums in the city are also very interesting. The museum is closed on Tuesday, so make sure the time is arranged properly.
Tickets are free.
Juzizhou is one of the destination attractions for our visit to Changsha. Of course, this is also a well-known attraction in Changsha. After arriving, the first thing I saw was the statue of Chairman Mao. The scenery in Juzizhou Scenic Area is also very good, full of green.
Many parents bring their children here to play. They feel that living in such a big city is great, and there are many places where children can go.
The lotus flowers on the water bloomed, dotted the lake with scattered stars, looking like a scenery of its own. You are not allowed to drive inside Juzi Island (it seems that it was allowed before), and you can park your car outside. We walked for a long time after entering. In fact, there was a sightseeing bus inside. It was quite good to take a sightseeing bus, but we always felt that this would lose the meaning of the trip.
It was late after coming out of Juzizhou, so we drove to Dufujiang Pavilion. Free parking is available here. I came here just to see the night view. The night view of Dufujiang Pavilion is really beautiful. It looks very exquisite and has the feeling of a palace.
It was not dark when we went, so we also took a daytime scenery map, which didn't look so representative.
The first time I heard this name, I thought it was the place where Du Fu lived, but it was wrong to think about it. Du Fu wrote the song "The Cottage was Broken by the Autumn Wind". After reading the instructions, I realized that the main purpose of Du Fu Jiang Pavilion is to commemorate Du Fu.
In fact, when fireworks were on the head of Orange Island in the past, you could see very beautiful fireworks in Dufujiang Pavilion. Unfortunately, there are too few times to set off fireworks in Orange Island nowadays.
In the evening, I went to Changsha Night Market, mainly to see Pozi Street and Taiping Old Street. There are really enough delicious food in the night market. A few of us ate all kinds of food until our stomachs became round.
There are many delicious food on Bozi Street and Changsha Old Street. You can try the Changsha stinky tofu and sugar and oil cake here. There is a Fire Palace on this side of Pozi Street. It is so famous that I think many people will check in. But we didn't go either. The food inside was too expensive. We mainly ate at the stalls.
This is the next day's itinerary. It was already 10 o'clock when we arrived at Yuelu Mountain. You can't park on Yuelu Mountain, but there is a hospital nearby where you can drive your car in without charging parking fees. (I don't want to use a free parking space, I just can't find another parking lot)
First, I saw Hunan University at the foot of Yuelu Mountain. Double first-class colleges are very advanced. The scenery is particularly good. Next to it is Yuelu Mountain. If you apply for an annual pass, you can go climbing at any time. It's so beautiful.
Yuelu Mountain is a 5A scenic spot. Now you must make an appointment if you want to enter. You can make an appointment on site. There are many small attractions in the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area, such as Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion, Yunlu Palace, etc.
You can take a cableway in the scenic area, and you can also take a sightseeing bus when going up the mountain, but I think that will lose its meaning. It is better to walk. If you are walking, be sure to reserve two or three hours.
The first stop is to go to Yuelu Academy. The academy is not very big, but it looks very advanced.
After coming out of Yuelu Mountain, we went to Jia Yi's former residence, which was a scenic spot I had planned to visit long ago.
In fact, this trip to Changsha also visited many scenic spots, including Li Chunfu's former residence, the Hunan Province Expo, etc. I will open a separate travel article for the Hunan Province Expo to introduce it. There are really too many collections here.
