I think I haven't really traveled since graduating from high school. Although I have visited Yueyang Tower and other places with my classmates during college, to be honest, these are not real tours because I was not happy during this period. But this trip to Zhangjiajie really opened my eyes. I think real tourism should be like this: walking along mountain paths with like-minded people, looking at the magnificent mountains, experiencing the stories written by Lao Shen, and savoring the atmosphere of fireworks in the world.
This trip was with my high school classmates. In fact, before that, I had never thought about traveling at all, because it felt like this kind of thing would only appear on social media such as site B, Douyin and so on, until Junxian Oppa (nickname for a high school classmate) told me that I suddenly had a destination I wanted to go forward to, and then decisively started this graduation journey. I am also very grateful to Junxian Oppa for leading me on my travels here. Almost all travel strategies, accommodation ticket reservations, etc. were handled by Junxian Oppa alone. I am really grateful to you for taking me as a travel traveler.
This day was the day before the start of the trip. I was rushing from Changsha to Zhangjiajie. When I arrived in Zhangjiajie, it was actually almost 10 o'clock. After that, I took a taxi to the hotel near Tianmen Mountain. Finally, I met Junxian Oppa, a high school classmate I hadn't seen for many years.
That night, I chatted a lot with Junxian Oppa, lamented the changes in Junxian Oppa University in the past four years, and also learned about the current situation of some high school students. In fact, I think about it, since graduating from high school and coming to Changsha to study, I have not contacted some high school students for a long time. However, what surprised me the most was the changes in Junxian Oppa. Today, Junxian is really much more mature and even travels to many places. I have to admire it.
The first day we went to Tianmen Mountain. The entire tourist route in Tianmen Mountain is mainly divided into line a and line b. Here we chose line b. The reason why we chose line b here is because line a is mainly the route chosen by most tour groups, and line a needs to take a cableway when arriving. The cableway can only accommodate about 8 people, and the queue time is quite long and may take about 1 hour. Therefore, we chose line b. Of course, no matter which route we go to, it is best to leave early. This way, you will spend less time waiting in line.
I started to set off early in the morning. First, I took the free shuttle bus, and then took the cableway to the mountain gate. The first thing I saw was Tianmen Cave. Since Junxian Oppa and I both chased "The Legend of the Seven Heroes of the Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit", we knew that this was the place where the seven swords combined to kill the black-hearted tiger, so we naturally had to check in to commemorate it.
You can take the elevator to Tianmen Cave, or you can climb this ladder yourself. I don't need to introduce how long the ladder is. You can see by looking at the picture. Of course, for the two of us who come to climb the mountain, we must choose Climb the ladder and climb Tianmen Cave in person. This ladder is really not something you can climb in a short period of time. Junxian Oppa and I both took a few breaks halfway before finishing it.
As we moved forward, we also made friends with a young lady who also traveled to Zhangjiajie, and then we traveled together. We then walked along the plank road. In fact, the most amazing thing about the entire plank road was the sea of clouds. As the sea of clouds rose, there was a feeling of climbing on the clouds and riding on the fog. It merged with the distant mountains, leaving the clouds and mist ethereal, making people have the illusion of a fairyland, and we all agreed that this was the place where immortals lived. Of course, because the fog is too heavy, many times, mobile phones cannot capture distant scenery at all. They can only occasionally try their luck and quickly take pictures when the sea of clouds disappears
While walking the plank road, I learned that Guiguzi used to cultivate here, and even went to the entrance of one of the cliffs to cultivate. This entrance has not yet been opened. I heard from some tour guides that a team once went in and seemed to have discovered figures or something. There are even rumors that Guiguzi once could fly over eaves and walls. As for whether it is true or false, I don't know, but the cliffs you see next to the plank road will be really dangerous, haha.
The glass plank road here costs five yuan, and we have to wear shoe covers provided by attractions. We were fooled. The plastic shoe covers bought by those vendors cannot be used at all. Here is also a reminder to everyone. This glass plank road is relatively short. If you really want to experience it, it is best to take a walk on the glass plank road of the Grand Canyon. Due to limited time and funds, we did not go to the Grand Canyon. We hope to have the opportunity to experience the glass plank road of the Grand Canyon again in the future.
Walking on the plank road, I passed Tianmenshan Temple. Since it was a temple, I no longer took pictures inside. The whole temple was indeed huge, but what made me very curious was why I didn't see a monk and the whole temple kept playing the Great Compassion Mantra.
Secondly, we also passed the Tianmen Mountain Cable Bridge. This cable bridge is made of wooden boards, with part of it hollow out in the middle, and part of the cable bridge will also sway. The whole thing is still a little scared.
In the end, we took the cableway back, but the waiting time for the cableway was really long. The most uncomfortable thing was that we thought we were done waiting, but we just went to the next room to continue waiting. Therefore, if a friend wants to take the A line, we must queue up early to take the cableway, otherwise we might have to wait for several hours.
Today's schedule is very tight. First of all, we need to climb Tianzi Mountain, go to Huanglong Cave in the afternoon, and watch Xiangxi performances in the evening.
Because you did not buy tickets in advance, the departure time was late, which also reminded everyone to buy tickets as early as possible in the future. Since many tour groups buy tickets on the same day, it is very crowded to buy tickets, which wastes a lot of time. Therefore, there was a situation when buying tickets and they didn't enter until 9:30.
The first attraction is Shili Gallery, which is the residence of Dada (Whirlwind Sword). While walking in the Shili Gallery, you can see the magnificent mountain peak next to it. Moreover, since the Shili Gallery is at the bottom of the mountain, there is basically no direct sun. There is also a breeze from the mountains from time to time, which is very cool. It is really a natural air conditioner.
The next step is climbing mountains. In fact, climbing mountains is the most tiring. The reason why I chose to climb mountains is because I am poor. Haha, I don't have much money to take the elevator. Although we couldn't enjoy the elevator or cableway directly, climbing the mountain was actually quite fun. During the entire climbing process, we also witnessed many different scenery.
If you have friends who choose to challenge yourself and hike up the mountain, remember to bring more water. It is best to bring 2 to 3 bottles of mineral water. A bottle of water halfway up the mountain can be sold for 6 yuan, and a bottle of Nongfu Spring on the top of Tianzi Mountain is 5 yuan., still quite expensive.
After climbing the mountain hard, we reached the top of the Tianzi Mountain. The first building you can see is the Tianzi Pavilion.
After Tianzi Pavilion, we also went to see the statue of Marshal He Long.
The most amazing thing is that the scenery on Tianzi Mountain is indeed unique. You can see cliffs and various mountain peaks. I really have to admire the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature.
In order to rush to Huanglong Cave, we rushed down the mountain, which mainly passed through the Southern Tianshan Mountains and formed naturally. However, we have to complain about how many mosquitoes are on these roads, and the moss is very slippery, which makes it easy to slip. You need to pay attention.
Huanglong Cave is a karst cave, and the stalactites inside are indeed wonders. Some of them take tens of thousands of years to form
Among them, what impressed me deeply were the harem, the Dinghai God Needle, etc. The Dinghai God Needle is said to be the highest in the entire Huanglong Cave. When we were on a cruise ship, I remembered the scene of tomb robbery notes and was always worried that something like rice dumplings would suddenly appear, so I didn't dare to reach out and touch the river water, haha
. In the evening, I participated in the charming local drama performance in Xiangxi. Due to intellectual property protection, I didn't have to take my own pictures. They were all online.
Shen Congwen's story of the border town and his miscellaneous performance (this kind of performance actually looked quite scary to me, and I felt that the actors were really working hard) moved me the most by chasing corpses in Xiangxi, especially when my mother saw her son's body and cried bitterly. The scene where she finally buried her son, etc., the lighting effect and transition effect of the overall stage are very good
There is also an outfield behind, and there is also a real performance of going up a mountain of knives and down a sea of flames. When I saw people walking on the mountain of knives with bare feet and walking on the fire pieces, I was actually really surprised and curious about how they trained. I was wondering if it had a very thick cocoon, but I don't know how exactly.
Today's trip was a little easier, mainly visiting Jinbian River. Since Jinbian River is a stream, there is always a breeze next to the stream, which is very refreshing. The stream is also very cool. I even touched this stream with my hand.
There are actually many wild monkeys here in Jinbianxi, so when you pass by, don't take out your belongings. Pay attention to your mobile phone when taking pictures. Moreover, when we are climbing mountains, we often encounter a group of monkeys. It's best not to use a stick to protect ourselves and pass silently by. Otherwise, these monkeys will think they are going to hurt them, and they will easily retaliate. If they are unfortunately scratched by the monkeys. Be sure to go to the hospital to get the vaccine within 24 hours. These injection costs can be reimbursed.
Halfway through the walk, we continued to climb the mountain. This time we went up the slope. I remember that wild monkeys were often found here
After reaching the top of the mountain, we came to the Yuan Family Realm, where we saw the shooting location of Avatar, the Charming Platform (it is said that the black tiger is in retreat for cultivation. Poor me, black tiger's sincerity for the blue rabbit, but I still mispaid), and the world's first bridge. The World's First Bridge is a natural stone bridge between two mountain peaks. Standing in the middle of the World's First Bridge, you can feel the continuous breeze blowing between the mountains.
Today, we mainly take a bus to Fenghuang Ancient City. There is a direct bus to Fenghuang Ancient City at Wulingyuan Bus Station, so we take a bus there in the morning. Here I would like to recommend the youth hostel we live in Wulingyuan: Kamu International Youth Hostel. Personally, I feel that it is very cost-effective. We went there during the off-season, and the room for two people was about 60, including a private bathroom, a bathroom, etc., and we could also wash clothes, etc. I heard that sometimes volunteers were recruited because some foreigners would come to live. However, we were there in the off-season, so we didn't encounter any large-scale events. Everyone can also gather together for dinner in Kamu at night for 38 yuan per person. If you want to buy any tickets, you can also ask the staff, and there will basically be relevant discounts.
I mainly visit Fenghuang Ancient City, the place where the story of Lao Shen's "Border Town" takes place. Along the Tuojiang River, the scenic spots of Fenghuang Ancient City actually have the characteristics of a Jiangnan water town. The water of the Tuojiang River is also very refreshing, and the wind blowing by the river is also very cool.
The most important thing to miss is the night view of Fenghuang Ancient City. It is very beautiful. The lights are accompanied by the ancient buildings. In fact, it really feels like a dream of returning to the past and being there. I think the best way to enjoy the beautiful scenery at this time is to enter a clearing bar, have a drink, look through the window, blow the wind along the river, listen to my brother's folk songs, eat local food, and reminisce about the ancient city. story.
What makes me unforgettable most is Lao Shen's love story, especially the love words Shen said when Lao Shen held his lover's hand and walked through the rock jump:
In these green mountains and clear waters, I held your hand and walked across this bridge.
There are green leaves and red flowers on the bridge, and there are flowing people under the bridge.
On this end of the bridge is green hair, and on the other end of the bridge is white hair.
