The second Little Plum Blossom Action Children's Drama Festival comes as scheduled this summer. Liuyang is not only the hometown of fireworks and children's drama in the world, but also a famous old revolutionary area in the country. Since successfully holding the first "Operation Little Plum Blossom" international online exchange conference in 2020, we have received invitations and consultations from many domestic and foreign cities/regions.

This drama festival series of activities will last for nearly two months from June 1 to July 26. It will be divided into two major sections: the "Weekend Theater" repertoire tour and the "Children's Heart to the Party" children's drama performance. The "Weekend Theater" invited red plays such as "The War Horse of the Red Army" to participate in the exhibition, vividly telling the revolutionary story to the children in an artistic form; the children's drama performance of "Childlike Heart to the Party" was starred by children, performing live performances of "Five Stars Shine","Don't Forget the Cowherd","Xi 'er and Little Snowflake" and other red original short dramas of Little Plum Blossom Action. Principal Li Chao of Jinsha Road Primary School in Liuyang City said: In order to better spread the concepts and methods of aesthetic education and drama education, we continue to improve the drama education experience of students of all ages through school-enterprise cooperation, social activities and other forms, so that students can broaden their horizons and learn history while interested in practice.

Exhibitors in this drama festival include China Puppet Theater, Hunan Province Puppet Theater, Hunan Yu Orchestra, Zhuzhou Mengtian Art Education, Liuyang City Drama Practice Campus Jinsha Road Primary School, Renmin Road Primary School, Government Kindergarten, etc. The second Little Plum Blossom Action Children's Drama Festival is expected to exhibit 32 plays, with 1200 young actors participating, and an audience expected to exceed 15000.

Wu Fang, person in charge of Operation Little Plum Blossom, said: We will continue to explore the themes of revolutionary martyrs, improve and promote the short drama series of "Red Army Boys", inherit the red gene and pay tribute to revolutionary heroes by guiding children to act and encouraging parent-child watching dramas. This year, the Little Plum Blossom Action Children's Drama Incubation Base will also launch the country's first original children's dance drama "Plum Blossom Fairy" and the Chinese traditional culture "Idiom Ark" short drama series, committed to creating a demonstration base for children's drama production.
