"Outside the Changting Pavilion, beside the ancient road, there is fragrant grass and green sky..." This is "Farewell" by Master Hong Yi-Master Li Shutong. From this we can also see that the pavilion was built on the roadside for pedestrians to rest, enjoy the shade or enjoy the scenery. use. Pavilion (pavilion) is a traditional Chinese building that originated from the Zhou Dynasty. It is generally an open structure without walls, and the top can be divided into various shapes such as hexagonal, octagonal, and circular. Because of its light shape, unlimited selection of materials, and flexible setting, it is widely used in garden buildings. Its structure can be vividly seen from the word "Pavilion" in Xiaozhuan.

There are many pavilions in China, and there are four that are admired by the soldiers. These four pavilions can also be said to be the four famous pavilions in China, namely Taoran Pavilion, Zuiweng Pavilion, Lake Center Pavilion, and Aiwan Pavilion. Taoran Pavilion located in Beijing is a famous pavilion in the Qing Dynasty. It is said that in the thirty-fourth year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1695), Jiang Zao, a doctor from the Ministry of Industry, was ordered to supervise the black kiln factory. He took the opportunity to build a small pavilion in the western part of Compi Nunnery. This person happened to be a diehard fan of the poet Bai Juyi, so he named the pavilion after the word "Taoran" in the sentence "waiting for the chrysanthemum yellow family to be ripe, and you will be drunk with the monarch". Since then, the names of Taoranting Park and Taoranting area have been spread out like this.

From north to south along the Great Rivers and Mountains of the motherland, to Langya Mountain in the southwest of Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, you can see the Zuiweng Pavilion, the first of the four famous pavilions. The pavilion was built in the seventh year of the Qing calendar of the Northern Song Dynasty (1047). The reason why Zui Weng Pavilion is so powerful is that it is famous for the article "The Story of Zui Weng Pavilion" named and written by Master Ouyang Xiu, one of the eight great masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties. In the fifth year of the Qingli calendar (1045 AD), Ouyang Xiu came to Chuzhou and met Monk Zhixian, the head of Langya Temple on Langya Mountain. The two soon became close friends. To this end, Monk Zhixian specially built a small pavilion next to the foot of the mountain. Master Ou wrote a note personally with great interest. This is the famous "The Story of the Drunken Man's Pavilion". From then on, Ouyang Xiu often invited friends to the pavilion to gather for barbecues and drinks, and had a great time. Because Master Ou was old and couldn't drink, he called himself a drunkard, and the "drunkard Pavilion" was named.

There are pavilions named after the "Lake Center Pavilion" everywhere. The Lake Center Pavilion of the four famous pavilions is located in the center of the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Together with Santan Yinyue and Ruan Gongdun, they are collectively called the Three Islands in the Lake. They are the earliest of the three islands. The pavilion is surrounded by water on all sides, with flowers and willows reflecting each other. In the twenty-sixth year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1598), there was a Jinshi named Hu Lai Chao. It is worth mentioning that the Hu Lai Dynasty once wrote the "Pillar Inscription of the Pavilion in the Center of the Lake":"There are singing songs in the four seasons, and there are still sad moonlit nights for the poor; flowers and willows on the six bridges, and mulberry trees are planted in the muddy land without gaps." Although this inscription is a bit spoilt, it is very meaningful. In front of the pavilion there is a stone tablet written by Emperor Qianlong, which is left behind by the traditional Chinese word "Feng Yue" after removing the surrounding cangles, implying the boundless meaning of the wind and moon here. Overlooking the West Lake from the pavilion in the middle of the lake, surrounded by green waters, green mountains standing in the distance, and the water and mountains are full of light. This is the so-called "flat view of the center of the lake" and is ranked among the "Ten Scenes of Qiantang" in the Qing Dynasty.

Aiwan Pavilion is located in Qingfeng Gorge at the foot of Yuelu Mountain in Hunan Province. The pavilion sits west and east, surrounded by mountains on three sides. It was built in the fifty-seventh year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1792). It was founded by Luo Dian, then president of Yuelu Academy. It was formerly known as Hongye Pavilion. Later, the governor of Huguang, Bi Yuan, a scholar. This person was also an ordinary person. In the twenty-fifth year of Qianlong (1760), he was a senior high school scholar, and he won the first place in the National Examination. He won the first prize in the Imperial Examination. Scholar Bi Yuan read "Journey in the Mountains" by Du Mu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, and according to the poem,"The stone paths are sloping far above the cold mountains, and there are families deep in the white clouds." Parking and sitting in Love Maple Forest at night, the frost leaves are redder than February flowers "The poem" was renamed Aiwan Pavilion. Later, it went through many major repairs from Tongzhi, Guangxu, Xuantong, the Republic of China to the founding of the People's Republic of China, and gradually formed the current pattern.

Generally speaking, the status of building a pavilion should be considered from two aspects: one is to look good from the inside out, and the other is to look good from the outside to the inside. Garden pavilions should be built in places with good scenery, so that people who are resting can enjoy the scenery, so that people can be retained. At the same time, consideration should be given to building the pavilion into a beautiful garden. Good pavilions can often play a finishing touch. There are too many pavilions in China that are too many to explain. Finally, we used a poem "Drunken" by Du Mu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, to make us drunk in the pavilions: "The sun is clear and the sky is bright, and the fairy clouds are all in the pavilion to send you off. Don't ask for a cup of wine, or don't hear of it for three years."
