At 4:40 pm on 18, 2021, we took Metro Line 1 to Line 2 and got off at Juzizhou Head. At around 5 pm, due to cloudy days, the sky was dark and the light was insufficient. Before dark, we decided to walk to Zhoutou, where there was a statue of Mao Zedong in his youth, which would give us a better feeling at night. Therefore, on the way, take a look at the scenery on the island first, and wait until it is late at the head of the island and the lights are shining. It is just the right time to enjoy the night view of Juzizhou head.
This is the second time I have come to Juzizhou. However, due to time constraints, I only looked at the end of the island and missed the end of the island. This time I have to make up for it.
There are sightseeing buses in the scenic area. The round-trip fare is 40 yuan per person. It is about 3 kilometers to Zhoutou. I wanted to take advantage of the dawn to see the scenery when I went there, but I could take a one-way ride when I came back. Unexpectedly, the scenic spot was too unauthentic. The one-way fee was also a two-way fee. As a result, we had to walk back. Many tourists complained about this, why the scenic spot wasn't it more humane and flexible? In fact, most tourists would choose one-way, which would increase their income. It also gave ordinary people more choices, so why not?
Juzizhou Head is located at the southern end of Juzizhou, and Juzizhou is located in the center of the Xiangjiang River opposite the urban area of Changsha. It is one of the many alluvial sandbars in the lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River. It was formed in the second year of Yongxing of Emperor Hui of Jin Dynasty (305 AD) and has a history of more than 1,700 years.
At the head of Juzizhou Island, we look west to Yuelu Mountain and face Changsha City to the east. It is surrounded by water on all sides and stretches for dozens of miles. The narrow part is about 40 meters across and the wide part is about 140 meters across. The shape is a long island and is one of the important scenic spots in Changsha. Among the famous mountains and cities of Juzizhou Island, it is known as "China's first continent."
Juzizhou is a painting showing customs. It is adjacent to Yuelu Mountain and accompanied by Xiangjiang River water. The scenery is beautiful, forming a unique landscape of "one green mountain on one side and one city on the other." To the west, the lush Yuelu Mountain is adjacent to the Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion and the Yuelu Mountain University Town under construction; to the east, the Xiangjiang River scenery belt provides a panoramic view of the prosperity of the city. From west to east, mountains, waters, continents and cities merge into one, like flowing paintings, like enlarged bonsai. Tourists board the continent, listen to fishing boats singing in the evening, watch the red maples in the Lushan Mountains, watch the flying pavilion in the sky, admire the orange trees, and recite the poems of the sages. It is fun.
Juzizhou is a bridge that carries history. She is imbued with Huxiang culture and has formed a strong historical heritage. In the south, Zhu Xi and Zhang Shi traveled between Yuelu Academy and Chengnan Academy to give lectures and cross the river, explaining the grand occasion of Huxiang children's schooling eight hundred years ago; Shuilu Temple and Gongji Tower tell the story of the prosperity of religious culture in the Yuan Dynasty; the trumpets of Zeng Guofan's training of the Hunan Army on the water vaguely echoed over Juzhou; the weather-beaten foreign consulates and high-end villas witnessed the history of Changsha after the opening of the port; Mao Zedong stood at the head of Juzizhou and asked,"Who controls the ups and downs on the vast earth? "Tianwen's changes write about the process of Chinese history.
The reason why Juzizhou became famous for a time lies in Mao Zedong's poem "Qinyuanchun·Changsha". In the cold autumn of independence, the Xiangjiang River heads north, at the head of Juzizhou. Look at the mountains all red and the forests all dyed; the rivers are clear and green, and hundreds of boats compete for the current. Eagles strike the sky, fish fly to the shallow bottom, and all kinds of frost compete for freedom. Looking down on the vast expanse, I ask who controls the ups and downs on the vast earth?
Bring hundreds of couples to travel and remember the extraordinary years of the past. My classmates are young and in their prime; they are scholarly and arrogant. Pointing out the country, inspiring the words, and smearing the land of the Marquis of Ten Thousand Families. Do you ever remember that when you hit the water in the middle of the stream, the waves stopped the flying boat!
Wasn't the heroic young Mao Zedong exactly as the poem writes? The revolutionaries of their generation dominated the ups and downs of Chinese ships, created the People's Republic of China, and wrote a new Chinese history. Therefore, the significance of setting foot on the head of Orange Island is not just to stroll around the scenery. Every traveler will have the original intention of pursuing the source of the revolution.
When we reached the head of Orange Island, the lights were already shining. The first thing that came into view was the portrait of young Mao Zedong. His eyes were bright and he stared ahead. Let us admire and admire it. Many tourists, especially young people, take pictures, take photos, and offer flowers here, remembering the beautiful moments.
Further ahead is the end of Orange Island. You can see the rolling Xiangjiang River water, and the neon lights on the high-rise buildings on both sides of the strait are flashing and changing endlessly.
At 6:30 p.m., we started to return. Since the sightseeing bus did not have a one-way, we had to walk. We also encountered tourists heading to Zhoutou from time to time on the way. They must have to walk back, because when we arrived at the sightseeing station at 7:30, the staff had already finished work and closed. It was already past 8 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at Furong Square by subway line 2. We left the station and had a simple meal of wontons and dumplings nearby, and then walked back to the hotel to rest. After visiting three scenic spots that day, I was really tired.
