Day 1: October 1, 2019, the 70th year of the founding of the motherland. I wish the motherland a happy birthday. At 5 a.m., facing the rising sun, our family of five (wife, children, parents) set out from Wuhan and drove straight to Changsha. The whole journey is more than 300 kilometers, no traffic jams, happy? (?òωó?)?,At 10 a.m., we arrived at the Vienna Hotel (Wangcheng Center Store) where we booked. Let's mention the hotel. The National Day price was 260 per night. The luxury single room was good, clean and very large, 30 square meters. The stay was very comfortable, but it was 30 kilometers away from the city center. Since we were driving by ourselves, we didn't care about the distance. The accommodation experience was more important (mainly because hotels in the city were too expensive). After packing my luggage, I turned on my mobile phone and prepared to navigate Juzizhou Head. Then my face darkened. Traffic was restricted to Juzizhou Head and cars couldn't drive in. I quickly changed locations and navigated to Wuyi Square. After parking the car, I walked to Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street. Anyway, the pedestrian streets everywhere are the same, similar to Hanzheng Street in Wuhan and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in Shanghai. There are no special features. The only highlight was that the military parade was broadcast live on a huge screen in the square of Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street that day. It was great! After having lunch at the pedestrian street, our family took the subway to Juzizhou (yes, we parked the car at Wangfujing in Wuyi Square and transferred to the subway to Juzizhou. By the way, I complain about the hateful capitalism. Wangfujing has a parking fee of 15 for the first hour, and a cumulative additional 5 yuan for the next hour. Friends who drive themselves should not park here.) It is noon and the weather is very hot, but there are still many people on Juzi Island. Juzizhou is very big. It takes about 3 hours to walk around. Since we have children and elderly people, we bought a sightseeing ticket (20 yuan/person) and took the bus directly to the back of Chairman Mao's head. Then we walked to Juzizhou Head to check in and take photos. Watching the river scenery and blowing the river breeze, I don't feel special. This is the place to check in and take photos. Here to remind everyone that bring your own drinking water and snacks, the prices on the continent are extremely expensive.
It's almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon. After visiting Juzizhou, I'm ready to return to Wuyi Square. Due to the fireworks display on Juzizhou on the National Day, the area will be cleared after 3 o'clock. The subway will jump directly and no longer park in Juzizhou. I can only leave the continent but not enter the continent. After squeezing into the subway at around 3 o'clock, I went back to Wangfujing in Wuyi Square to pick up the car and return to the hotel. It was too hot and tired, so I went straight back to the hotel to rest. Dinner was eaten directly in the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel. The food was okay and not very expensive. I like it here.
Day 2: On October 2, because I booked a Vienna hotel on Ctrip, there was no breakfast delivery (Vienna's official website, APP, and public account will send breakfast coupons). After checking out in the morning, I had to look for places that were too early. After a search online, I found Wanlilong's steamed buns shop 2 kilometers away. It is highly recommended. The shop is very large and has various breakfast. We bought the signature fried buns and fried dumplings. The steamed buns are very delicious and melt immediately in the mouth. The soy milk is also good. Highly recommended. After breakfast, we drove straight to the Shiyan Lake Scenic Area. There was a parking lot at the gate of the scenic area, but we were very nervous. Unless we went early, there was no seat at all. We arrived around 10:30 and had to park in the parking lot 1 kilometer away from the gate, and then walked to the gate.
Because I bought the ticket in advance at Ctrip and directly scanned the QR code to enter the park, you can see the Sky Glass Bridge when you enter the scenic area and look up. I am very excited and immediately wanted to try it. But to get to the bridge, we had to climb up first, climb to the bridge. Hey, we took the baby and the baby carriage and walked up step by step. Although we were tired, we were very happy and fresh after getting to the bridge. The baby was not afraid at all and ran around the bridge.
The bridge is actually not far away. After a while, there is a zip line next to it, which costs 40 yuan/person (the adult ticket of 160 does not include this item). I slide from the bridge head to the foot of the bridge opposite. I really want to skate, but with my family, I give up. Following the road, we walked from Jingui Island to the Subtropical Forest Park. There are many entertainment projects, such as fast flying ropes, cliff swings, tree crossings, and aerial plank roads. However, we all need to walk and climb to reach these projects. Everyone enters the park with enough snacks and Drinking water, it's still good to experience it. Arriving at Tianjie Food Street, we didn't go in because we brought a lot of food with us. Then the next attractions were the amusement park and the West Lake Dam. At this time, there were three options: 1 walking, 2 free sightseeing buses, and 3 free cruise boats. We didn't even want to directly join the queue of sightseeing buses. In fact, the sightseeing buses flowed very quickly. We lined up for 10 minutes and arrived at the West Lake Dam. There were foot boats (60/half an hour) and electric boats (80/half an hour) on it. Because the day was too hot, we were not interested in taking the boat in the sun, so we gave up directly and went to the amusement park to play a tour. It was similar to ordinary amusement parks. The price of knowledge was more expensive. The highlight was horse riding. As long as 40, we could ride a small circle and take photos. It was not bad. It was almost 4 o'clock when we left the amusement park. We drove straight to Linxiang, a hundred miles away, and checked into Lufeng Hotel (Linxiang Zhongfa Store). Amway visited the hotel here, and I gave it a 5-star review from my heart. As long as I went to the front desk, I would have a cup of tea, and then I was very polite. Seeing that we were a family of 5, I directly upgraded us to the adjacent deluxe queen bed room. The room was very modern, very new, and very comfortable at a glance. Moreover, the room was equipped with Xinlian Green Radios and an air purifier, which was very considerate and manual comparison.
We had dinner at the hotel opposite the street. Why was it the hotel opposite? Because the restaurant of Lufeng Hotel was full, the waiter strongly recommended that the restaurant of the hotel across the road where Hunan cuisine was authentic. You can try it. As soon as we crossed the road, we saw the sign. It was very big and eye-catching,"Pastoral, Five-Star Hunan Cuisine." To be honest, the taste was really good and the price was not expensive, but the food was very slow. We waited for half an hour before the food was served. We mentioned it to the waiter no less than 5 times. I even suspected that we had forgotten to place an order for us. Moreover, those who came at the same time with us all finished eating and left. The experience was not good anyway. Maybe they knew that we only ate and did not stay in the restaurant.
Day 3: On October 3, when I get up in the morning, click the button by the bed, the curtains will automatically open, and click on the small background music screen. The room will remember sweet songs. Ah, the power of technology, I love this room very much. The hotel gave a breakfast voucher and a buffet on the second floor. It was not bad, especially the fans and noodles. I recommend trying it. After breakfast, we drove to Yueyang Tower. Since there are many people during holidays, we shouldn't think about the parking lot at the South Gate Ticket Office. If there is time to park on both sides of the road, we should stop quickly, and then walk to the South Gate to buy tickets and enter the scenic spot. Anyway, there is no sign.
Yueyang Tower is one of the three famous buildings in Jiangnan and is located next to Dongting Lake, so it is a famous check-in point. It is strongly recommended that everyone find a guide to explain it. Otherwise, after walking around, you may know that Yueyang Tower exists, and then there will be no more. Yueyang Tower is not tall or majestic, but the building built in the park in 220 years is full of confidence, and Fan Zhongyan's "Yueyang Tower Story" adds cultural color. A bird 's-eye view of Dongting Lake gave me a different feeling. The only shortcoming was that we couldn't climb the stairs, because only 50 people were allowed upstairs each time. When we saw that there were more than 200 people in line, we gave up directly.
After strolling around Yueyang Tower, we came out. Because it was too hot, we did not go to Baling Square. We drove directly to the Ugly Duckling to settle our lunch, and then drove back to Wuhan.
During the entire journey, I didn't actually visit many attractions, but it was the first time I took the whole family and drove by myself. The experience was very important. Fortunately, the food, accommodation and travel were good this time. Thanks to Ctrip for providing valuable information.
