It takes about two hours to visit Yueyang Tower. If you are interested, you can also visit Junshan and Dongting Lake. Our trip was limited by time and we did not make any itinerary arrangements. We drove directly to Changsha Juzizhou Tourist Area, which was about two hours away (except for festivals).self-driving vehiclesYou can drive in directly with advance appointmentOrange Island). After entering the scenic spot, you can directly reach Mao Zedong by purchasing a scenic spot transportation bus (small train) ticketYouth Sculpture Square.

Juzizhou is located in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is the largest sandbank among the many alluvial sandbanks in the lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River and is known as "China's No. 1 continent." From south to north, it traverses the center of the river, west to Yuelu Mountain, and east to Changsha City. It is surrounded by water on all sides and stretches for more than ten miles. The narrow part is about 40 meters across and the wide part is about 140 meters across. The shape is a long island. History records that Juzizhou was formed in the second year of Yongxing (305) of Emperor Hui of the Jin Dynasty. It was formed by slalom alluvial and sand and gravel accumulation.

Mao Zedong's youth art sculpture stands at the head of Orange Island in Changsha, highlighting Mao Zedong's image of ambition and youth. In his youth, Mao Zedong once made clear his ambition at the head of Juzi Island,"Ask who is in charge of ups and downs on the vast land."

After the tour, find a hotel and stay at any place near the Xiangjiang River. You can not only watch the sunset sunset on the Xiangjiang River, but also take pictures of the beautiful night view of the Xiangjiang River.

Day 2 Changsha-Shaoshan-Gaoyiling Tourist Area

In the morning, taste Changsha snacks and drive to Shaoshan. Changsha to Shaoshan is 72 kilometers, which is more than an hour's drive.

Shaoshan is the hometown of Mao Zedong, the great leader of the people of all ethnic groups in China. It is also the place where he lived, studied, worked and engaged in revolutionary activities during his youth. Mao Zedong's former residence is a nationally famous revolutionary memorial site, a national patriotic education base, a national key scenic spot, and an excellent tourist city in China.

Self-driving vehicles are not allowed to enter the scenic spot. When you got out of the car, someone chased after you and said that you could pay to bring the car into the scenic spot. I don't know if there were any pits that you didn't dare to step on, so you went directly to the tourist center to buy tickets and enter the scenic spot.

After a short while, the Jingjiao bus arrived at the Square of Comrade Mao Zedong's Bronze Statue.

After paying homage to the bronze statue of Comrade Mao Zedong, visit the Shaoshan Comrade Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, and then visit the former residence of Comrade Mao Zedong.

Due to the time constraints and the large scenic spots, it is already very tiring to visit these three places (although you can take the scenic spots and transfer buses to other attractions). After leaving the scenic area, taste Maojia braised pork and other delicacies. Then drive to Gaoyiling Tourist Area for about three and a half hours. Spend the evening at Gaoyiling Inn.

Day 3 Gaoyiling Tourist Area-Xiaodongjiang River

After breakfast, visit Gaoyiling Scenic Area (it takes about four hours-because you have to take photos).

Gaoyiling Scenic Area is located at the junction of Qiaokou Town and Zixing City, Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. Gaoyiling has mountains, waters, springs, caves, villages, cliffs and ponds. The biggest feature is the Danxia landform, dotted with water puddles around it, red rocks and green waters, dangerous villages and strange streams. It is ecological, natural and beautiful.

Giant Dragon Lake

In the afternoon, drive to Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area from Gaoyiling Tourist Area. About 40 minutes by car.

In order to make it easier to watch the morning fog in Xiaodongjiang the next day, find an inn near Platforms 1, 2, and 4 of Xiaodongjiang (Platform 3 is under maintenance).

Day 4 Xiaodongjiang River-Jinggangshan Scenic Area

In order to watch the morning fog in Xiaodongjiang, I got up at five o'clock. In summer, the scenic area opens at 5:30. People over the age of 65 do not need tickets, but they must purchase scenic spot transportation tickets (RMB 15/person). We started from Platform 4, enjoying the morning fog and taking photos constantly-it was so beautiful. There are fishermen casting nets on platform 4. Platform 2 is a beautiful woman casting a net and singing folk songs. Walk to Platform 2 and take the Jingtong Bus to Longjing Canyon.

At noon, try Dongjianghu grilled fish. Driving by Jinggangshan Scenic Area-Ciping, the journey is more than 220 kilometers and is nearly 4 hours away. After arriving in Ciping, first visit the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum and surrounding revolutionary sites.

Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum is located on Hongjun South Road, Ciping, Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province. It was built in November 1958. It has more than 30,000 cultural relics, more than 20,000 precious documents and historical pictures, and more than a thousand calligraphy treasures by party and state leaders, famous painters and painters, and celebrities from all walks of life. Preserve hundreds of pieces of film and television materials of Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other party and state leaders when they returned to Jinggangshan.

Overnight: Jinggangshan Jingqi Business Hotel (the owner of this hotel is very helpful and thoughtful, providing free parking, free pick-up, delicious food and affordable)

Early the next morning, take the scenic bus to visit the various scenic spots in Jinggangshan. Unfortunately, there was light rain in Jinggangshan that day (locals say there was rain in Jinggangshan for 365 days a year, and 260 days). Fortunately, we saw vast clouds of clouds in the Huangyangjie.

After lunch, we drove 334 kilometers from Jinggangshan in Nanchang to Nanchang, driving nearly four hours.
After arriving in Nanchang, go straight to Bayi Square. Bayi Square is located in Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, at the intersection of Bayi Avenue, Beijing West Road, Zhongshan Road and Ruzi Road. On the square stands the "August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Tower" inscribed by Marshal Ye Jianying.

Day 6 Nanchang-Wuhan

Visit Tengwang Pavilion in the morning. Tengwang Pavilion is located on Yanjiang Road, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is located on the east bank of the Ganjiang River and at the intersection of the Ganjiang River and the old Fuhe River roads. It was built in the fourth year of Yonghui of the Tang Dynasty (653). It was built by Li Yuanying, King Teng, the younger brother of Li Shimin, Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, when he was appointed governor of Hongzhou in Jiangnan. The existing building was rebuilt in 1985. It is famous for its "Preface to King Teng Pavilion" written by Wang Bo, a poet of the early Tang Dynasty. It is one of the "Three Famous Buildings in Jiangnan".

Afterwards, visit Nanchang Ship Main Park. This is a tourist attraction that combines historical, cultural and military elements. The Nanchang Ship is the first-generation guided missile destroyer developed by China itself. It has witnessed the development of the Chinese navy. After the Nanchang ship was decommissioned, it was handed over to Nanchang City and built into a theme park allowing tourists to understand and experience the glorious history of the Chinese Navy up close.
Nanchang Ship No. 163 is quietly anchored on the Ganjiang River. The warships full of flags look very powerful from a distance! Buy a bracelet (79 yuan) during the tour and you can participate in interactive rides on the ship, such as check-in the ship's cabin, shooting, sailors 'life, learning, training and other scenes in narrow cabins! There is also a movie in the cabin that truly shows the scene of the Nanchang ship when it was on duty at sea, which is deeply loved by the children!

Return journey in the afternoon: Nanchang to Wuhan is 347 kilometers, driving nearly four and a half hours. The six-day and five-night self-driving tour ended perfectly.
