I have visited Changsha County, Changsha City the most times. For example, I have been deeply impressed by Jinjing's green tea, Chunhua's aqueduct, and Kaihui's beauty. This revisit to Ningxiang and Wangcheng actually took seven or eight days. I am afraid that locals may not know about the scenic spots and historic sites they have visited. Looking back on it, I feel quite complacent.

1. Huangcai Thousand Buddha Cave

Ningxiang Huangcai is probably the farthest town in the west of Changsha, and further north is Yiyang. The head of Shilong Mountain Thousand Buddha Cave said that if all Shilong Mountain caves are opened up, they can reach Yiyang directly.

Thousand Buddha Cave was originally called the Thirteenth Cave, named because there are thirty connected holes. It is located under the beautiful Shilong Mountain, also called Shilong Cave. I feel that the original name is more realistic and does not duplicate it with other caves in the world. I don't know why it was changed to a vulgar today name? There is a lake in front of the cave. Take a small boat and enter it. The entrance of the cave is full of bats, which is shocking. Further inside, there are underwater cities, like mirage, illusory and ethereal. There are also molten rocks like waterfalls, camels, and Guanyin. The treasure of the town cave is called the "Thousand Buddha Pagoda". It is a molten rock column formed by dripping water for hundreds of millions of years. It is amazingly old.

There are many scenic spots in Huangcai, such as Miyin Temple and Tanhe Ancient City. I only visited Thousand Buddha Cave this time. Outside the cave is Shilong Mountain. The original forest park is now full of wild trees and fallen leaves. You can take a small outdoor hike. Although snakes produced in Ningxiang are delicious on the table, they should not go too deep into the grass in summer.

The leader's surname is Zhang, and he is enthusiastic and straightforward. He prepared wine that night and drank it hard. The wine was not intoxicating, so he became drunk.

2. Zilongwan Hot Spring Resort

Go to Zilongwan Hot Spring Resort in Huitang Town the next day. It was still early, so I went to Huaming Tower to visit Liu Shaoqi's former residence.

Liu Shaoqi's former residence is an ordinary Jiangnan courtyard house with a civil structure. There are 21 and a half rooms in total, including 16 and a half tile houses and 5 thatched houses. The bedrooms, kitchens, warehouses, etc. have been basically restored to their original state. Judging from the construction area and scale, it was also a large family at the beginning. Not far away, there is also a plane he had flown in, as well as several tanks and combat vehicles, which are regarded as a demonstration base for patriotic education and a red scenic spot. This place is not far from Shaoshanchong. Two early party and state leaders lived next to each other, and it was meaningful to think carefully.

Zilongwan Hot Spring is a "natural medicinal spring". The resort is both an attraction and a residence. Hot spring water enters the guest rooms directly, and there are more than a dozen open-air soup ponds in the public area. After skewing it in the soup pond and steaming it again, I feel refreshed. There is also an artificial wave area where you can experience the stormy waves like the sea.

3. Guanshan Ancient Town

Guanshan is named after the garrison stationed here during the Battle of Guanyu in the Three Kingdoms. It is a rural tourist attraction integrating natural scenery, history, humanities and rural folk customs. Playing the Three Kingdoms culture card, the town is ancient and the elements of the Three Kingdoms can be seen everywhere.

There is a statue of Guan Gong on Guan Gong Square, which is extremely vivid. It is said that there used to be an elm tree here that was cut by lightning, but it did not hurt anyone or damage anything. A governor said that Master Guan thought the pedestal was low and was a warning. Later, the pedestal was raised, and it became like it is now, and everyone lived peacefully. The photo of the old elm tree is still there, and the local people talk about it vividly. In fact, I suspect that Guan Gong's copper cast cutter head is too close to the tree and conducts electricity in rainy days, which caused the elm to suffer. Fortunately, there were no casualties, which means that Guan Di had the spirit.

Opposite the ancient town is a cluster of rural villas, with diverse families and a new style in the countryside. It is a major achievement of local rural construction.

4. Lei Feng Memorial Hall

Return to Wangcheng, walk into Lei Feng's hometown and visit Lei Feng's life stories. An orphan has grown into a role model for the people of the country to learn from for a long time. His short life journey makes people sigh.

Why did Lei Feng, the role model we learned from childhood, leave so many photos? After listening to the explanation from the commentator in the Lei Feng Memorial Hall, I understood the whole story. Lei Feng loves taking photos. After becoming a "star", there will always be photographers who will follow behind to pick up the subject matter. Moreover, due to publicity needs, some photos were indeed taken for display, but the commander of the army required that they must be something Lei Feng had done before they could be retaken. So Lei Feng left us many photos, some of which were even illogical, such as the one cleaning the car, with a military medal on his chest.

Not far away is Lei Feng's former residence, which should have been renovated later. The two suites in the shape of a curved ruler are quite simple.

5. Secret Radio Station and Zhou Bingwen's Former Residence

Red tourist attractions, visiting on the eve of National Day Golden Week is just in line with the theme.

The former site of the Hunan Peaceful Liberation Secret Radio Station, also known as the Qiaoyi Secret Radio Station Site, is located on Maotuo Mountain, Xiaofeng, Fujia Group, Hongjia Village, Qiaoyi, Wangcheng. It was originally the old house of Zhou Shangnong, a retired Kuomintang commander. In May 1949, the Party Central Committee sent Zhou Zhu 'an back to Changsha to establish a secret radio station and instigated the uprising of Cheng Qian and Chen Mingren. After several choices, Zhou Zhu 'an located the radio station in Jiufu Township, a suburb of Changsha, which is now Hongjia Village, Qiaoyi, Wangcheng. The site was restored to its original state, and the radio station was placed in a room in the corner. Come to think of it, all kinds of secret messages at that time were transmitted to the Party Central Committee through this place, which was also regarded as a "red wave that will never disappear."

Not far away is Qunli Village, where seven martyrs have emerged. Zhou Bingwen was an early member of the Communist Party and worked underground in Hunan. He was arrested in 1931 and wrote a self-elegitive couplet in prison: "Only by causing a person to be shocked will he become a ghost; only by making the world want to kill him will he be a man." He was soon killed in Shiziling, outside Liuyang Gate, Changsha, at the age of 39.

The former residence is in the shape of a curved ruler, displaying pictures of the heroic deeds of seven martyrs in Qunli Village!

6. Black Mifeng Scenic Area

Wangcheng 4A-level scenic spot is a good place to watch sunset and sunrise. There is a reservoir on the mountain, and above the reservoir is the ancient temple of Heimifeng. There are also grass skiing and sliding line in the scenic area. Wait until sunset, it is red. Having roast whole sheep in the evening is simply a fairy day! Unfortunately, the starry sky in the south is relatively dim and cannot be photographed.

This was the first time I stayed in the starry sky tent of Heimifeng Tea Garden. It was like a sky curtain and was quite interesting. It is actually a tent hotel with an air-conditioned bathroom, which is not as simple as a real tent. Unfortunately, they were all large beds. That night, I shared the same bed with the strong men who were traveling with me. When the snoring started, I had to kick it hard.

The next day, the clouds were too thick to see the sunrise.

7. Legend of Tongguan Kiln

The highlight of this trip. The new packaging of the ancient town cost more than 10 billion yuan, and the old houses spread out around Shizhu Lake. It includes 8 museums, 5 performing arts centers, 3 star-rated hotels, 20 B & Bs, 18 cultural attractions and 4 parent-child entertainment projects. It is large in scale and has many projects, integrating culture and tourism, making it unforgettable and eye-opening.

You can experience 5D cinema, Flying Theater, Blackstone Stunt Show, Tongguan Kiln Legend Show, Tongguan Water Show, Underground River Rafting and other amusement projects. The inn area is very quiet and it's good to stay for a few days.

The Blackstone stunt show and the Tongguan Water Show are very outstanding, and the final drone group performance is also very powerful. Of course, the biggest gain was my first experience with the "colorful underglaze" of Changsha Kiln and the legendary story of the sinking of the Blackstone.

A Persian style plate in the Changsha Kiln Museum has an extremely rare and amazing pattern. Darius, the Persian king, was seated, with aristocrats in front of him, possibly his son Xerxes behind him, and the Zoroastrian god above him. This exquisite porcelain shows that Changsha Tongguan Kiln had already accepted foreign orders in batches at that time.
