When it comes to Changsha, the first thing that many people think of is stinky tofu. For foodies, there are not only these, but also crayfish and so on. This weekend, we had a casual trip. We had three days and two nights, three to five friends, and a group of six people came to Changsha, the "food paradise".
※※※ Transportation
We chose to take the high-speed train. The trip from Guangzhou south to Changsha south is 314 yuan, which takes 2 hours and 40 minutes. It is very convenient to visit various attractions when we arrive in Changsha. You can just take the subway directly, and the cost starts at 2 yuan.
※※※ Accommodation
Most of the attractions in Changsha are centered on Wuyi Square and within five to six kilometers. Therefore, it is recommended to live near Wuyi Square, which will save a lot of transportation time. If you can't book accommodation near Wuyi Square, you'll take the next best option. Metro Line 2 is also a good choice. We chose [Changsha Wan Hotel] to be located in Furong Square, the core financial business district of Changsha, close to Wuyi Square, Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, and Pozi Street (Changsha Specialty Food Street). The hotel is about 3 minutes 'walk from Furong Square Station (Exit 4) on Metro Line 2, and about 8 minutes' walk to Wuyi Square Pedestrian Street. The hotel is about 3 kilometers away from Juzizhou Scenic Area, and about 5 kilometers away from Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area and about 2 kilometers away.
※※※ Special attractions
I won't write about the attractions. You can find it online. I'll write about transportation and precautions for travel.
1. orange Island
Metro Line 2, get off at Juzizhou Station. Attractions are free, but it is recommended to take a tour bus around the continent. The reference fare is 40 yuan/person. Take the scenic spot sightseeing bus and get off the bus to visit the scenic spot. After the tour, you can wait for the bus again to continue visiting. It takes about an hour or two. If you walk, you will be very tired and it will take half a day. We didn't read the guide before setting out, so we walked from the gate to the Bronze Statue Square for 3.4km. It took us half a day to walk and take photos along the way.
2. Yuelu mountain
Exit at Exit 2 of Hunan University Station on Metro Line 4. There are scenic spots such as Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion. Among them, Yuelu Academy requires a ticket purchase of 40 yuan to enter the park. The Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area is relatively large. Many tourists will enter the scenic area from the south gate and walk up the mountain, and then take the cableway down the mountain to the east gate and leave the scenic area. We didn't go up the mountain, only went to Aiwanting, and then we went down the mountain after taking photos.
3. Hunan University
Metro Line 4 leaves at Exit 2 of Hunan University Station and is connected to Yuelu Mountain. You must only go to Yuelu Mountain. After climbing the mountain, you will find Hunan University at the foot of the mountain. Spend half an hour visiting the campus of Huda and have lunch at a nearby restaurant. An authentic Hunan cuisine is enough to stimulate your taste buds and forget the fatigue of climbing the mountain.
4. Taiping Old Street
Exit at Exit 2A of Xiangjiang Middle Road Station on Metro Line 2 and walk east for five minutes. This is a historical cultural district with a long history, with historic sites such as Jia Yi's former residence, Changhuai Well, Mingji Fan's Mansion West Archway, as well as some old houses with blue tiles and white walls. You can find the shadow of old Changsha here. Taiping Old Street is also one of the famous food streets in Changsha, with a variety of snacks at your disposal.
5. Pozi Street
Just near Taiping Old Street, it is also a food street, which is similar.
6. Former Residence of Mao Zedong and Yang Kaihui in Qingshuitang
There is a memorial hall in the Changsha City Museum, No. 538 Bayi Road, Kaifu District, Changsha City. It is the place where Yang Kaihui and other revolutionary martyrs fought and lived. It is of great educational significance.
※※※ Food Chapter
1. Gan Changshun
It began in the ninth year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1883), a time-honored Chinese brand and Changsha's intangible cultural heritage. A group of six of us came out of the high-speed rail station and took the subway and went directly to the Wuyi Square Store. It was easy to find. There were not too many people, but the air conditioning was not working. We were sweating while eating.
2. The hometown of tea and beautiful color
The color of the tea is really delicious and not tired! I feel that there is a tea shop 50 meters away from the city center, and every family is lined up. Everyone must have a cup when walking on the road like this! The sound of oolong is fresh and delicious, the orchid latte cream is not greasy, the fireworks in the world have a light fragrance of milk, the plain Ceylon tea is fragrant and greasy, and the vines are sour and sour! They are all delicious! One cup a day anyway.
3. Chef Fei
Be careful if friends who can't eat spicy food should be careful. Preserved eggs and green peppers compete with eggplants. They are super spicy chicken, so spicy that tears flow. The signature dish, stir-fried pork with chili pepper, is easy to go with rice. I can barely accept it from someone from Guangdong.
4. Hunan Rice Noodle Street
The whole street is full of rice noodles, and rice noodles shops are indispensable at that time. There is also a photo wall with the word "Changsha" there, where Internet celebrities check in. I recommend Yide Yi Stewed Powder at a discount price and sufficient portions.
There are many specialty snacks in Changsha, so I suggest everyone try them! Changsha stinky tofu, sugar-oil cake, beef patty, perilla peaches...
※※※ Summarize my impression of Changsha
1. Changsha is well built. There are many distinctive and beautiful buildings around it, and the streets and restaurants are clean.
2. The central area of Changsha is not very large, and the scenic spots are concentrated. Generally speaking, you can take the subway, walk or drive a shared electric car to the major scenic spots.
3. Consumption in Changsha is not high. For three days and two nights, the total expenditure is 1200 per person (including transportation, food, accommodation and entertainment)
Lazy people play games and don't want to be too tired. I only visited a few attractions in three days. Because the museum didn't make an appointment, I didn't go. It's a pity that I couldn't see the thousand-year-old female corpse! In terms of food, because we are from Guangzhou and can't eat spicy food, we missed the most famous Wenheyou and crayfish, but I think the food we eat in Changsha is basically spicy. Taiping Old Street, Pozi Street and Huangxing Road are actually similar. It is recommended to only go to Taiping Old Street.
