Changsha, Hunan is a very charming city that especially attracts young people! Especially for the generation who likes to watch variety shows and grew up watching Hunan TV, Changsha seems to have a magic force attracting them. As a result, more and more people have included Changsha on the list of travel destinations. (Last year, I shared a detailed guide to Changsha's tourist cuisine. If you are interested, you can read the travel notes in October 2018!) The second time I came to Changsha, I said something different.
Changsha is known as the entertainment capital of China. In November 2017, Changsha City was named the World Media Art Capital by UNESCO! It became the first city in China to be named the world's "Media Art Capital". Having come to Changsha for the second time, I want to say that this is definitely what I deserve.
The last time I came to Changsha was in August last year. After walking into Changsha at night, I felt the extraordinary charm of this city that never sleeps for the first time. Neon flashes and lanterns are shining, just like daytime. The prosperity of Changsha at night is extremely infectious, and no one can ignore themselves. And have you ever seen its day? Have you seen another look like it?
In fact, to be more serious, most people who have seen the starry sky in Changsha must have also experienced the daytime in Changsha. However, most tourists only move in lively neighborhoods, focusing on food and scenic spots. The faster the pace, the less clear things in their eyes.
This time I went to Changsha, it was still at night. They just changed direction. Last time they came from Jiangxi, this time they were returning from Yueyang. Because I had already moved all the places I wanted to go last time, it would be more relaxed. When I woke up at noon, I went from Kaifu District to Furong District via Malan Mountain.
Changsha under the scorching sun is surprisingly quiet. The surroundings of Changsha University are full of greenery, and there are hardly a few people to be seen on the streets. For several moments, I wondered if this was the Changsha I remembered. But it is, just like no matter how lively a person is, he will also have a quiet side.
Changsha's traffic is not very magical, but it is also possible to continuously get up and down bridges and drill tunnels. With rivers crisscross it, there are many bridges in the territory. In more than half an hour driving to Pozi Street, I passed Hongshan Bridge, Liuyang River Bridge, etc. The design of the Hongshan Bridge is very special. It does not look like a bridge at all from a distance, but a no-rope harp.
Xiangjiang River is the largest river in Hunan and the river of life in Changsha. Walking along the Xiangjiang River, you can see a different Changsha. In the Xiangjiang River at night, the breeze touches the face and the lights are flashing, making it extremely romantic. During the day, Xiangjiang River is more calm and atmospheric. All elements in the entire city tacitly switch personalities between day and night as if they had made an appointment.
During the two days I visited Changsha, I went to many streets several times, but they looked completely different during the day and at night. This difference is not just a difference in light, brightness, and excitement, but completely like Two different places. The night is craze, and the day is stealthy readiness. The contrast is very strong. This appearance was indeed unexpected.
After shuttling through tunnels, bridges, and small streets, I still came to Pozi Street, a food world that I can't forget. Yes, on the way to travel, no matter where I go, I can't escape the clutches of delicious food. Who makes it so coveted? For those who drive themselves, parking your car in the underground parking lot of Hisense Plaza is a good choice! Next article, Pozi Street Food Sharing!
