Memory cannot match the passing of time, so I plan to write this Changsha travel note.
Some time ago, I was chatting with my friends about the National Day arrangements, and I suggested going to Changsha to have a visit, tentatively for three days. The friend agreed and bought the ticket quickly. The initial arrangement was to arrive on the 27th and come back on the 30th. It was not during the National Day, but of course to avoid the traffic during the long holiday.
As soon as I got off the bus in Changsha on the 27th, I felt the hotness of Changsha. That's right, it was hot. Although autumn has already entered, autumn in Changsha seems to come particularly slowly. Although it is not during the holidays, there are still many people traveling and instantly appreciate the charm of Changsha. After taking a nap, it was already past 7 o'clock in the evening when I got up and cleaned up. We went out and went for a stroll in the pedestrian street.
The night in Changsha is particularly lively, with rows of street lights shining on the night. Walking along the pedestrian streets, you can find many delicacies, specialties and special bars. There is also a black classic tofu academy worth visiting for stinky tofu lovers. It has a variety of snacks, a variety of specialties, and many cultural and creative products.
As soon as I entered the Tofu Academy, what attracted my attention was a giant doll and a black classic small red bowl, with a line next to it. There was no word for nothing in Changsha. It was perfect to check in and take photos.
The highlight of the entire store is the "Clutch Pavilion", which seems to combine the atmosphere of Yuelu Academy with black classics. The overall decoration style is simple and elegant, and the color matching looks very advanced. In the store, the wooden boxes, wooden doors, windows and escalators that customers can see are all deliberately worn out. There is also a small exhibition hall with words on the right, which is also a good place to take photos and check in. It is no wonder that many young people can be seen taking photos in Han costumes in such a scene.
Then I walked in a series of neat specialties, full of colors and a wide variety. I brought many specialties back when I left.
First, I came to Wanzi's signature stinky tofu. The stinky tofu was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For the first time, I felt that a light food like tofu could be so delicious. I have received most of the recommendations.
There are also large pure-meat sausages that are completely different from hot dogs and stuffed sausages. The meat is firm and can be completely managed by one.
The sugar-oil cake has a strong osmanthus flavor, sweet and soft. There is also the healthy and delicious Douhua Xueyue. This is the first time I have drunk such a "milk tea". Before drinking the glutinous white jade meatballs, turn the white jade meatballs a few times and wrap them in the upper layer of milk cover and soybean flour. I strongly recommend drinking this drink. The QQ flick is more chewy than the glutinous rice meatballs. The milk cover is very tight. It is my favorite salty milk cover ~
The fragrant green tea base below is paired with soy milk. The taste is distinct and not greasy at all. The taste is completely different from the milk tea I have drunk before, and it is not as fond of fat growth as milk tea. It is perfect for my diet.
When we go to the subway later, there is also their family's special train, which should be very famous in Changsha.
I went back to the hotel in the evening to plan attractions. Overall, I didn't visit many attractions on this trip. But I felt the beauty of the city, but I was glad that it was not a holiday.
In Yanghu Wetland Park, it can be said that geographically speaking, it is far away from the noise. Architecture pursues white color and is very pure. The warm white reveals the mystery of the material, and the depth of the space is presented through light and shadow, spreading a sense of loneliness.
On the lawn at the entrance, there is a circle full of water vapor, which is as beautiful as Alice in Wonderland, and a large area is at your fingertips.
Being in a movie town is like traveling to Italy and experiencing the culture of the Renaissance. It is very suitable for taking photos. Combine the latest VR technology and three-dimensional movies to experience various classic IP projects. The town is not big, so walking around is like going out on a vacation. It will be very comfortable if you are not too busy or slow. It is also allowed to bring snacks in. The price of meals is similar to those in the squares where you usually go shopping. Water and snacks may be a little more expensive and are within the acceptable range.
Some performances travel around the entire town, and some are divided into two sessions in the morning and afternoon, so there is no need to cut the time, just keep a rough record of the time. Finally, for the two light shows, you must watch them, otherwise you will come in vain.
We took the cable car up the mountain. We only saw the mountain in front of us and the friends down the mountain. If we wanted to see Juzi Island, we still needed to turn behind us, so the scenery down would be more beautiful. After arriving at the cable car terminal, there is also a coffee shop on the mountain, which is about 1 o'clock after we finished eating.
Then we went to Yuelu Academy to see this thousand-year-old academy whose traditional buildings have been completely preserved. Every group of courtyards, every stone tablet, every brick, and every wind lotus in the academy shines with the humanistic spirit tempered by time.
Hunan University was a few hundred meters away from Yuelu Academy. We didn't stroll around much, just passed by and took a photo, and then took the subway back to the hotel.
TIP:
No tickets are required for Yuelu Mountain, but tickets are required for cable car sightseeing buses and Yuelu Academy. If the travel time is not very long, I personally don't recommend climbing the mountain...
The ticket office is at the subway exit. You can buy tickets for sightseeing buses. You can take a bus directly to reach the attractions. You can get on and off once at each point.
Strolling along the Xiangjiang River and looking at the calm river, I feel that I can stay calm all day. Walking to the end of Juzi Island, you will see the landmark of Juzi Island and Changsha-Mao Zedong's portrait when he was young. Here, everyone is taking photos as a commemoration of visiting Changsha.
The story of mountains and mountains, and the scenery of water, this is probably the attraction of Juzizhou. I heard that there will be a grand fireworks show on National Day.
Every time I visit a city, I want to get to know everything about it in depth. The best way to understand a city is to walk into a museum. After entering the Hunan Museum, you will involuntarily be attracted by these cultural relics. History is sometimes mysterious, so mysterious that people can't help but explore.
The museum is very large, and the exhibition hall is divided into three parts: special exhibition area, Sanxiang History and Mawangdui.
Most exhibits are scanned on WeChat and can listen to voice explanations. At the same time, there are many models, such as Mawangdui structure and terrace model, which are the most intuitive way to understand geography and original objects.
After visiting the plain gauze Zen robe stored in textbooks and the "T-shaped" silk painting mentioned in the national treasure, I was greatly amazed: from the excavation of tombs, identification of identities, cleaning of cultural relics, and lifting of the veil, history is unfolding in front of us little by little, and everything is awe-inspiring.
TIP: Free opening hours: 9:00-17:00 every Tuesday to Sunday (every Monday is closed day)
Changsha has its own memories and charm. Sometimes I want to walk faster and see it all; sometimes I want to walk slower. If we meet, we will meet, and if we haven't met, it's fine. After all, we are out to play, not to complete a task.
Changsha is a vibrant city and a young entertainment city. It can satisfy you for leisure, vacation, food and shopping. It is worth visiting. I hope I can come again and see the mountains everywhere and the forests everywhere.
