I have always wanted to come to visit Changsha and visit the Hunan Province Museum. On December 1, my friends and I signed up for a tour group to Changsha. After arriving in Changsha, after having breakfast at the hotel, a group of 14 of us took the travel agency's car and arrived at the Hunan Province Museum. On the way there, we learned from the tour guide that Changsha is an old city with a history of more than 2000 years, but it does not have as many ancient buildings and cultural relics as Beijing and Xi'an. That was because a fire during the Anti-Japanese War almost burned down Changsha.

Although Changsha does not retain many ancient buildings, there are many underground cultural relics. The main purpose of our visit to the museum this time was to view the important cultural relics on display. The Hunan Museum is very big and does not charge tickets. You can enter and visit it with your ID card. But because it was the weekend and there were so many people visiting, we queued for about 40 minutes to get in. I followed the crowd to the second floor and first looked at the historical development of Hunan Province, population changes, and cultural relics unearthed in various periods, including pottery, bronzes, etc. There were many exhibits in the museum, and many of them didn't have time to take a few photos and walked over without having time to take a closer look.

The exhibits in the cultural relics exhibition area of the Mawangdui Han Tomb are more abundant. Those ceramic utensils and lacquerware are very beautiful. They are all funerary objects of the tomb owner. Tableware and daily necessities are all available, which is really eye-opening. Among the cultural relics on display at the Han Tomb in Mawangdui are various clothes, the more famous ones are the plain gauze Zen clothes.

Susha Zen Garment is the oldest existing piece of clothing in the world, the most completely preserved, the most refined craftsmanship, and the thinnest piece of clothing. The exhibits we saw weighed only 49 grams, less than one ounce. It is difficult for people nowadays to imitate such a thin gauze dress, which is amazing.

Who is the owner of the Han Tomb in Mawangdui? After archaeological verification, the owner of Tomb No. 2 was Li Cang, Prime Minister of Changsha State; the owner of Tomb No. 1 was Li Cang's wife Xin Zhui; and the owner of Tomb No. 3 was Li Cang's son. Tomb No. 1 is the best preserved and has the most unearthed cultural relics.

The last female body we saw on the first floor was Li Cang's wife-Mrs. Xin Zhui. According to reports, when it was first unearthed in 1972, this female body had elasticity in muscles and intact internal organs, causing a sensation around the world. The main reason why the female corpse does not rot is that it is well sealed. There are several layers of coffin, and there are also carbon layers and white mud layers on the periphery, which well isolate the air. These precious cultural relics play an important role in our understanding of ancient history, culture, medicine and other aspects.

It was already noon after visiting the museum, and the group members suggested going to Xuji Seafood, a famous chain restaurant brand in Changsha. Here, we tasted tang-boiled fish soup and mussel, steamed cherries with ginger juice, snails boiled in spicy wine, roasted meat with Xu Ji oil and tofu, etc.

After lunch, we went to Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion. Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion are not far away. Aiwan Pavilion is just a pavilion. There is no need to buy tickets and the visit time is short. The name of Aiwan Pavilion comes from Du Mu's seven-character quatrain "," Parking and sitting in Love Maple Forest Evening ". There are many maple trees around the pavilion. The weather is warm and the maple leaves are very beautiful. If any friends want to watch the autumn scenery in Changsha, now is the perfect time to come!

There are red plaques with gold characters "Aiwan Pavilion" hanging on both sides of the pavilion, and the handwriting was inscribed by Chairman Mao himself. There are many tourists who come here because of their fame. They keep taking photos with Aiwan Pavilion and have almost no free time. Yuelu Academy is one of the four famous academies in Chinese history. It is located at the foot of Yuelu Mountain on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha. Yuelu Academy has experienced many wars in its history, and the main existing buildings are left over from the Qing Dynasty. A famous couplet hangs on both sides of the main entrance: Only Chu has talent, but it thrives here.

Today's Yuelu Academy is not only part of Hunan University, but also a famous tourist attraction and a cultural business card of Changsha City. Zeng Guofan and Zuo Zongtang, important officials in the late Qing Dynasty, studied here. Entering the gate of the academy, you will feel that the buildings here are antique, the courtyards are quiet and elegant, and the environment is beautiful.

After visiting the academy, we went to Juzizhou. Juzizhou is a long and narrow island on the Xiangjiang River. Now it has been built into a beautiful park. Juzi Island was named after its orange trees in ancient times. When we went, we also saw many orange trees.

Juzizhou is famous in modern times, mainly because of the word "Qinyuanchun·Changsha" written by Chairman Mao in the late autumn of 1925. Chairman Mao's poems are majestic and magnificent. The first poem I learned from Chairman Mao when I was at school was "Qinyuan Spring·Snow". What I appreciated was the majestic scenery of the Northern Kingdom and the heroic spirit of spirit.

In the evening, we came to the memorial statue of Chairman Mao and took a group photo here. According to reports, the statue of Chairman Mao on Orange Island was built on December 26, 2009. The statue takes the image of Mao Zedong in his youth in 1925 as an artistic prototype, highlighting the great man's ambition and youthful spirit in his youth.

We walked along the head of Juzi Island, feeling the endless pulse of the Xiangjiang River, and didn't leave until the sun set.
