It is said that you don't look at the water when you come back from Jiuzhai. Jiuzhaigou has always been a place you want to visit. During the college graduation season, my classmates invited me to Jiuzhaigou on their graduation trip, but the only way to get to Jiuzhaigou at that time was to take a bus from Chengdu. The road was relatively poor and it took a day's drive one way, so I gave up, but my yearning for Jiuzhaigou was always in my heart.

In August 2017, I booked a hotel, bought a direct ticket to Jiuzhaigou, and took time off to prepare to go to Jiuzhaigou. However, on August 8, one week before departure, an earthquake occurred in Jiuzhaigou, and the Jiuzhaigou trip was cancelled. It was not until a few years later that the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area reopened again. In July 1920, he also booked a hotel, bought a direct ticket to Jiuzhaigou, and took time off to prepare to go to Jiuzhaigou. However, the flight to the airport was cancelled due to weather conditions, and the Jiuzhaigou itinerary was cancelled again. In June 2021, I went to Jiuzhaigou again, booked a hotel again, bought a direct ticket to Jiuzhaigou, and took time off to prepare to go to Jiuzhaigou, hoping that no accident would happen again.

There are no direct flights to Jiuzhaigou from Shanghai, but there are direct flights from Wuxi and the price is not expensive. I booked a flight from Wuxi to Jiuzhaigou. June is the off-season in Jiuzhaigou, and hotel prices are not expensive. The four-star Jiuzhai Resort costs less than 200 yuan. In order to save more playing time and worry about the discomfort of driving, we chose Jiuzhaigou to charter a car to Chengdu. It is more luxurious to charter a car alone.

I have visited Chengdu and surrounding scenic spots before, and this time I only visit Sanxingdui Museum, which I have not been to before. Langzhong, one of the four major ancient cities, was also a destination that he had always wanted to visit, and finally chose Guangyuan to return to Shanghai. Because the air ticket back to Shanghai from Guangyuan is cheap, and Guangyuan has several good attractions. Due to the popularity of high-speed rail in China, travel is much more convenient than before, and more destinations with previously inconvenient transportation can be reached.

6/20 D1 Shanghai-Wuxi-Jiuzhaigou (Accommodation: Jiuzhai Resort)

Flight from Wuxi to Jiuzhaigou in the afternoon, and train to Wuxi in the morning to have a while in Wuxi.

In the morning, the Shanghai train goes to Wuxi, the subway arrives at Nanchan Temple, and visit Nanchang Street.

Nanchang Street Historical District is built along the canal. Most of them are houses that have been recently rebuilt, but they have petty bourgeoisie feelings.

Coffee shops, creative shops, etc., but they passed early and many shops were not open.

At around 10 o'clock, I was preparing to go to Wuxi Airport by subway. At this time, I received a text message that the flight was delayed until 16:00 p.m... I panicked. Will the flight be cancelled again? Huanglong Airport is located on the plateau, the weather is cloudy and unpredictable, and flight cancellations and delays are common. After checking it, it was very accurate, and the flight on June 19 the day before was cancelled. Well, although I am in a bad mood, I have no choice but to continue playing in Wuxi.

Had a simple lunch at Nanchan Temple Pedestrian Street.

I have been checking very accurately. I am worried that the flight will be cancelled, and I received a text message that the flight will be adjusted to 18:00.

At 3 p.m., the subway will depart for Wuxi Shuofang Airport and wait patiently in the lounge.

The flight finally took off on time at 18:00,

It is dark late in Sichuan this season. When we arrived at Huanglong Airport at 20 o'clock, the sky was still bright.

Huanglong Airport is located on a plateau. After getting off the plane, I dare not move too hard to prevent high reactions. At the airport exit, I saw someone already reacting and taking oxygen.

After leaving the airport, I previously booked a pick-up from the airport to the hotel online.

Huanglong Airport is more than 80 kilometers away from Jiuzhaigou, and the airport pickup booked online is 76 yuan. As soon as I got on the bus, the driver asked me about my itinerary for the next few days. When he learned that my itinerary for the next few days had been confirmed and I no longer needed to use his car, he kept telling me that the airport pickup fee was a loss, just for the next few days to make money. It took nearly 2 hours to drive from the airport to Mizoukou, which was indeed quite far, and finally transferred 50 yuan to the driver. I don't think this way of attracting tourists at a low price and then chartering a car to make money is very appropriate. Although the driver did not take the initiative to increase the money, he always said that he was losing money and felt like he was deceiving customers.

It was already past 10 o'clock when we arrived at the hotel and went to Bianbian Street near the hotel for dinner. Jiuzhaigou belongs to a Tibetan area. I ate yak meat hot pot at a Tibetan restaurant with good reviews on the Internet. The meat is good and the quantity is very large. The Tibetan boss was very polite. He first asked for a toast. After learning that I didn't drink, he gave me a hada.

After a hard day, I didn't eat much and went back to the hotel to rest.

6/21 D2 Jiuzhaigou (Accommodation: Jiuzhai Resort)

I read the guide before and they all said that it was very stressful to visit Jiuzhaigou for a day, so I got up early and had breakfast at the hotel.

The hotel has a free car delivery to Goukou from 7:00 to 8:00. I arrived at the scenic area before 7:30. By this time, there were already many teams queuing up at the door waiting to enter. The scenic area officially opened at 7:30.

Check-in and enter the scenic area bus. In the morning, the scenic area bus usually ends at Wuhua Sea in Rizegou. Originally, the end of this line was the virgin forest, but now scenic spots above the Wuhua Sea are not open to the public.

When I saw Haizi in Jiuzhaigou in the car, my eyes lit up. It was really beautiful.

After getting off the bus at Wuhuahai, many tourists looked at the observation deck near the station and returned.

In fact, there are plank roads around the Wuhua Sea, so you can play around the lake. Wuhua Sea is one of the best scenic places in Jiuzhaigou. Every point around the lake has different scenery. This is the most time-consuming attraction in Jiuzhaigou.

After visiting Wuhua Sea, follow the boardwalk 1.5 kilometers to Pearl Beach. You can take a bus from Wuhua Sea to Pearl Beach, and the scenery is average halfway.

Arrive at Pearl Beach and visit Pearl Beach Waterfall and Pearl Beach.

Then walk to Jinghai.

After walking around Jinghai, you will arrive at Nuorilang Waterfall.

Nuorilang Visitor Center is the only restaurant in the scenic area and a transfer center for public transportation in the scenic area.

There are only set meals in the restaurant, and there are many shops selling small commodities. In order to seize the time to play, I had some bread, so I went to the transfer center and took a bus to Changhai. There are only two scenic spots in Chawagou, Changhai and Colorful Pool.

The Nuorilang Visitor Center is more than 10 kilometers from Changhai, which is the largest sea in Jiuzhaigou. However, apart from the big scenery, it is average.

Walk to Wucai Pool. Wucai Pool is the most famous sea in Jiuzhaigou. The scenery is really beautiful and the water presents many colors.

Take a bus back to Shuzhenggou to play. Get off at Rhinoceros Sea and visit Rhinoceros Sea.

Walk to Tiger Sea

Follow the plank road and you will see Shuzheng Waterfall, and then you will reach Shuzheng Sea.

Get on the bus at Shuzheng Station and reach Sparks Sea. Follow the plank road to Wolong Sea and Shuanglong Sea.

Haizi has seen too much, and he is a little aesthetically tired. He no longer has the excitement of seeing Haizi for the first time in the car when he just entered the ditch.

Then take the bus and enjoy the reed sea and bonsai beach on the bus.

Get off the bus at the last attraction, Zaru Temple, and visit Zaru Temple.

Zharu Temple is a Tibetan temple. The old temple should be old for some years, and rituals are being done inside.

After visiting Zharu Temple, take a bus back to the entrance and exit of the scenic area.

The bus planning and staff service in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area are very good, worthy of the ticket price of 259.

Leaving the scenic area is about 3 p.m., and now the end point of Rizegou is Wuhua Sea, so there is plenty of time to visit Jiuzhaigou in a day. If the end point is the virgin forest, then the day will be a bit stressful.

There are shared motorcycles in Jiuzhaigou, 2.5 kilometers back to the hotel.

Transportation at the mouth of Jiuzhaigou is not very convenient, there are only taxis. Fortunately, there are motorcycles now.

I was tired from walking today, so I went back to the hotel to rest.

At 5 p.m., continue to motorcycle to evaluate the better restaurants to eat yak meat pots.

After dinner, we continued to cycle to Bianbian Street. I don't know if it was the off-season or the impact of the epidemic, but many shops on Bianbian Street were closed.

There was no nightlife in Jiuzhaigou at night, so I went back to the hotel early to sleep.

6/22 D3 Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong-Chengdu (Accommodation: Chengdu Jincheng Qingya Apartment)

I plan to charter a car to visit Huanglong today, go to the Yingxiu Earthquake Relics Museum and then return to Chengdu. So I asked the driver to pick me up at 7 a.m.

The driver stopped at a restaurant in Chuanzhusi halfway and said that this was his brother's house. He rested for a while and had some food before leaving.

I thought it might be a routine. This is already a plateau and it's a little cold outside the car.

When I entered the room, the owner made me saffron tea and took out dried yaks for me to eat, saying that everyone here was hospitable.

The driver drank some tea and soon asked me to continue on the road. I didn't encounter any tricks. It turned out that the local people were really hospitable.

It takes 2 hours to reach Huanglong Scenic Area. The driver stops at the main entrance of Huanglong Scenic Area Visitor Center, which is the way up the mountain on foot.

There is a free shuttle bus here to the cableway entrance 800 meters away and the cableway goes up the mountain.

The altitude of Huanglong is about 3500 meters. Due to the lot of vegetation, there is no high altitude.

Get off the cableway and walk 2 kilometers in one step to Wucai Pool and Huanglong Temple.

Arrive first at Huanglong Temple, which has nothing special inside.

However, the plaque at the entrance is still very distinctive when viewed from three directions and displays three different characters.

Continue to look up at the panoramic view of the Colorful Pond. Huanglong Colorful Pond is a representative of the calcified pond, with colors ranging from light on the top to dark on the bottom.

Walk down the mountain along the plank road. There are several sea spots on the way down the mountain, all of which have good scenery.

Arrive at the foot of the mountain at 12 o'clock and contact the driver to pick it up.

After getting on the bus, I told the driver that I wanted to go to the Yingxiu earthquake site. The driver said that it was a bit of a detour and required an additional 200 yuan.

When the Wenchuan earthquake occurred on May 12, 2008, he was still a hot-blooded young man. Seeing his compatriots suffering on TV and the news, he really wanted to go to the front line to help. I have always wanted to go to the earthquake sites and remember the people who were affected by the earthquake.

Sleep in the car and wake up around 2 o'clock. After confirming the navigation, it would take more than 4 hours to reach Yingxiu. It was estimated that the museum would be closed there, so I had to give up going.

Going back to Chengdu directly, it took nearly 7 hours to travel from Huanglong to Chengdu. The cervical spine was very uncomfortable and the whole body was uncomfortable. For the first 5 hours, there was a highway around the mountain, and traffic jams were also built. The last section of the highway went directly to Chengdu, arriving in Chengdu at 7 p.m.

Because riding was too uncomfortable, I got off the highway and got off at the nearest subway station. The subway went to Gaosheng Bridge and visited Jinli.

There were many people in Jinli at night, so we strolled around casually for a while.

Dinner is served in the toilet skewer not far from Jinli. This restaurant has also eaten it in Chengdu six years ago, and the taste is as good as ever.

Compared with 6 years ago, the store has been renovated and bigger.

Chengdu Hotel booked a serviced apartment near Chengdu East Station because you can take trains at Chengdu East Station to go to Guanghan Sanxingdui and Langzhong.

The hotel customer service contacted WeChat and placed the room card in the password box downstairs to pick it up. No hotel personnel were seen during the entire journey. Except for the small hot water for the shower, everything else is very good.

6/23 D4 Chengdu-Guanghan North-Chengdu (Accommodation: Chengdu Jincheng Qingya Apartment)

I got up early in the morning and walked to Chengdu East Railway Station and had breakfast in the VIP waiting room.

Chengdu East leaves Guanghan North by train in less than 25 minutes. When you get off the train, there is a bus to Sanxingdui Museum, but the frequency is too small.

I don't want to wait anymore. I take a taxi to Sanxingdui Museum for 17 yuan.

Sanxingdui has a reputation and is the same site of the ancient Shu Kingdom as the Jinsha site in Chengdu.

At present, Sanxingdui Museum has only 2 exhibition halls, and the others are all parks.

The first exhibition hall mainly displays bronze trees, etc., and the second exhibition hall mainly displays bronze masks. The exhibition halls are not large in scale and have not many exhibits on display. They can be visited in more than an hour.

Compared with the Jinsha Ruins, the price of 72 tickets here is not high.

The return train is at 12:30, which is still early. I wanted to go around the train station for lunch.

However, the vicinity of Guanghan North Railway Station is quite remote and there are not many shops.

Back in Chengdu, we headed for the Kuanzhai Alley, where we were also crowded with people.

When you come to Chengdu, you always have a hot pot meal, and it is more suitable for you to eat buffet small hot pot alone.

Arriving at Chunxu Road, Huangcheng Mom's buffet hot pot, 160 people per person. This kind of fashionable small hot pot does not have the flavor of Chengdu hot pot.

I originally planned to go to Jianmen Pass tomorrow morning and to Langzhong in the afternoon. But after checking the weather forecast, it will rain tomorrow and I have been tired these days. I don't want to climb the mountain and give up going to Jianmen Pass. I bought a new train ticket and left for Langzhong early tomorrow morning.

6/24 D5 Chengdu- -Langzhong (Langzhong Wafang Inn)

The train leaves for Langzhong at 6:30 in the morning and arrives at Langzhong Station at around 9:00.

I wanted to go to Jinping Mountain to see the panoramic view of the ancient city first. I got off the bus in Nanjinguan Ancient Town and walked to Jinping Mountain.

However, the bus driver in Nanjinguan Ancient Town did not stop and drove directly across Bridge 1 to the ancient city.

Okay, let's go to the Ancient City Inn first.

The hotel is in a good location, on the Jialing River. After checking in, I took a break and began to visit the ancient city.

Because it is not a peak season or a rest day, there are not many tourists in the ancient city.

After buying a joint ticket for the ancient city, I first went to Guanghua Tower and went upstairs to play.

After that, I went to the Feng Shui Museum.

Nanjinguan Ancient Town is newly built and has no characteristics.

Walk to Jinping Mountain

The panoramic view of the ancient city from Jinping Mountain is also average. The tour guide introduced that Aoshan would be better to have a panoramic view of the ancient city.

The ancient city is very big and it takes a whole day to stroll around carefully.

In the evening, head to Oriental Plaza, where there are some shopping centers.

After dinner, I went back to the hotel to rest and waited to see the night view of the ancient city.

It is very cheap to soak feet and pick ears in the ancient city. A total of 50 yuan for pedicure, soaking feet and picking ears.

Many shops in the ancient city are closed at night, but only the shops near Zhongtian Tower are still open.

There are not many bars and clear bars in the ancient city, and the nightlife is not rich. Compared with Lijiang and Xitang, Langzhong's evenings are quieter.

I didn't feel much need to stay in the ancient city for one night.

6/25D 6 Langzhong-Guangyuan (Guangyuan Fengqi City Hotel)

Get up in the morning and check out.

Finally, after strolling around the ancient city for a while, the bus guided us to Langzhong Station.

The train arrives in Guangyuan at 11:30

Share a bicycle to Huangze Temple, which is the only temple commemorating Wu Zetian, who is said to be his ancestral home in Guangyuan.

The only true statue of the queen was unearthed in Huangze Temple.

The hotel is near Nanhe Bus Station, check in at the hotel.

In the afternoon, take a bus at Nanhe Bus Station to Zhaohua Ancient City, and arrive in half an hour.

When I first entered the ancient city of Zhaohua, my eyes lit up. The old and uneven stone roads and the ancient buildings.

However, the real ancient city is not big, and Zhaohua West City was built next to the ancient city. This commercial district is attached to the ancient city, but it is not good for business.

It took about more than 2 hours to travel back to Guangyuan by car.

The hotel rested for a while, rode to the Old City of Guangyuan by bike, and returned to the hotel after having dinner on the pedestrian street.

6/26 D7 Guangyuan-Shanghai

Today is the last day of the trip, and the hotel checks out after breakfast.

Head to Qianfo Cliff, which is a grotto that began to be carved one after another in the Northern Wei Dynasty.

The grottoes are not large, and some grottoes are relatively well preserved. However, compared with the four major grottoes in China, they are much worse.

Some people are swimming in the Jialing River next to the grottoes.

Finally, bus navigation goes to Guangyuan Airport

Due to Shanghai weather, the flight was delayed for 1 hour to arrive in Pudong, Shanghai, and the journey ended.

Unfortunately, I didn't go to the Yingxiu earthquake site and Jianmen Pass during this trip. I will only go there next time I have the opportunity.

Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are worth a visit. The bus from Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu is very difficult, but I heard that a high-speed rail will be built soon, and transportation will be more convenient later on.

Langzhong Ancient City and Sanxingdui feel that the price is not high and they do not amaze me, just a visit here.
