I booked a pick-up service from Ctrip, which is cheap and convenient. It can go directly to Xiya Light Luxury Apartment in Ocean Taikoi for 45 yuan. After seeing many hotels, I was either dissatisfied with the location or the hotel. This time, I had the idea of trying to stay in an apartment. So our family of three borrowed a two-bedroom and one-living room in Tai Koo Li. The location is really, very good. Whether it is subway, bus or taxi, it is very close. The main reason is convenience. There are hot pot and everything you need to eat and drink around you. Moreover, the two bedrooms and one living room feel like home. Not only is it larger than the hotel, but it also has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a coffee machine, a large refrigerator, etc. We live separately from our children, just like at home, and we have everything we need. If you want to talk about, it's the electric water heater. Three people can't wash their hair and take a bath continuously, and the water will get cold.
After unloading our luggage, we went to Xiaolongkan downstairs to have our first hot pot. Really, the air in Chengdu is filled with the aroma of hot pot. The bottom of Xiaolongkan pot here is indeed different from Shanghai. The spicy pot is much more delicious, and there is no hot pot taste in your hair after eating it (that's because of the pure butter and no additives), and there will be no stomach pain or diarrhea the next day.
I took a taxi to Wuhou Temple. Since it was the seventh day of the New Year, there were still many tourists, and the way was blocked. However, the Wuhou Temple is not very big, and it will only take you an hour or two at most. In the Wuhou Temple is the tomb of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang's monarch and minister. There happens to be an exhibition of monarch and minister in it, which introduces the deeds of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang in more detail and allows you to watch it for a longer time.
After that, there is a red wall with an Internet celebrity inside, which can be taken in a concave shape, so it is best to come prepared and be prepared to take photos.
We went directly to the Wuhou Temple and closed the door. On the right side of the door was Jinli Ancient Street, which had a snack street. We could dress in ancient costumes and check in and eat slowly, which also served dinner.
DAY2: Ctrip rented a car and borrowed a five-person car to see pandas in the morning and Sanxingdui in the afternoon.
In fact, there is a tourist bus downstairs in Tai Koo Li that runs directly to these two places, but the round-trip fare for the three of us is actually more expensive than renting a car for one day (excluding gas costs), and it is not free, so we simply rented a car for one day.
The Chengdu Giant Panda Center opens early in the morning and opens at 7:30, so you can go and see it early. At this time, they are all eating breakfast and are very active. Friends all said not to go and see it in the afternoon, as they all have to go to bed. The Giant Panda Center is very big, and I haven't visited it all. I recommend going directly to see the giant panda baby first. There are two places.
Giant panda cubs are generally not visible in zoos in other provinces and cities, so this is a top priority. After watching it, I look at other adult giant pandas. There are still many hanging on the trees
There are also wild peacocks here, which also fly in the trees. We went in before almost nine o'clock and came out at 12:30. When we came out, the current restriction was already beginning to start, so we still had to hurry early.
We had lunch at the Panda Base at noon and drove to Sanxingdui, Guanghan in the afternoon.
Sanxingdui Museum is really the most special museum in China. It is open 365 days a year. Tickets are 72 yuan. You can purchase tickets on the public account. It was almost 2:30 in the afternoon when we arrived at the Sanxingdui Museum. In fact, there were only three exhibition halls inside. If we looked slowly, we could finish them before closing. It is not recommended to hire a guide. The guide only talks for more than an hour, which is too rushed. We borrowed the interpreter ourselves for 23 yuan each. We listened while watching. If we didn't hear it clearly or didn't understand it, we could play it repeatedly. Although there are three exhibition halls, one of them is a cultural relic restoration center (which takes a short time). You need to swipe your ID card to enter the exhibition hall, so it is more convenient to carry around, otherwise you have to register or something. If you enter the door late, you need to pay attention to the closing time of each exhibition hall, which is different, so there must be a priority order.
DAY3: People's Park, Kuanzhai Alley, Train to Chongqing
Have morning tea in People's Park, sit in the Zhong Dumplings and Heming Tea Room. There are many people in People's Park in the afternoon. It would be okay if we went there in the morning. The food ordered by Zhong Dumplings can also be taken out and eaten at the tea place. I didn't expect that the ugliest sweet water surface would be the most delicious. The brown sugar glutinous rice cake is also good. The panda glutinous rice balls are sold one by one, and the skin is relatively thick. Cover bowl tea is charged per seat and the price is not expensive. Order a cup of tea costing more than ten yuan and drink it.
Kuanzhai Alley is also an ancient street, where you can stroll around, eat and drink. There is Holyland's flagship store, especially the Chengdu specialty Panda Bamboo Dim Sum, which is very suitable for accompanying gifts.
The famous local Maojiao Hot Food was not open during the Chinese New Year. It finally opened on the day I was leaving Chengdu. I took a number on the reviews early and had to eat it at noon, otherwise the queue would take a long time.
Chongqing chose to stay at the ISEYA High-altitude Fuyun Hotel at the Eye of the Cloud because it is right at the subway entrance and has good scenery (Chongqing's mountain road, even a few hundred meters away from the subway entrance, it may be difficult to drag a suitcase to walk). The only drawback is that you have to change two elevators to get to the hotel, and they are all tourists.
Bayi Road Delicious Street is really crowded with people. You can try local specialties such as roasted sweet potato peels. It's just time to stroll around Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and walk to Hongyadong to take photos.
Hongya Cave is a free scenic spot, which means that it looks better when it is lit up at night. There is a charge of ten yuan to take away the fast track at the entrance of the scenic spot. Don't believe it.
If you don't go inside Hongya Cave and just take photos of the exterior, you can take a taxi directly below. A car for four people will only cost 10 yuan.
If you want to go inside, it's actually quite fast. You just slowly follow the crowd and take the escalator. It won't take long. Inside are layers of Ministores.
Internet celebrity melon Xixi hot pot feels average after eating, but the pear flower jelly for dessert is okay.
DAY4; Baigongguan, Zhizidong, Ciqikou Ancient Town
How can I not remember the martyrs when I arrive in Hongyan? The Xiaorotou family, the place where General Yang Hucheng was killed, Sister Jiang, the Zhizidong Prison where the martyrs were held, and the countless instruments of torture are really sad to see.
The martyrs exchanged their lives for our beautiful life today, and they must come and pay tribute with their children. It is important to note that the original ID card is required here, and you cannot enter if you don't have one.
Ciqikou Ancient Town is just for shopping and eating. When I came back, the subway happened to pass Liziba, so I took a photo.
DAY5: Huguang Guild Hall, Shancheng Trail, Shiba Stairs
Dayu is enshrined in the Huguang Guild Hall, which is also a gathering place for refugees before. It is definitely enough to walk around for an hour.
Huguang Guild Hall is right beside the river, you can see the Yangtze River cableway, and nearby there is the old house White Elephant House that is easy to get lost in.
The mountain city trail and the 18 ladders are next to each other. If you are not physically strong enough to choose one, the 18 ladders are recommended. The two places are similar, but the 18 ladders can see the bomb shelters during the Anti-Japanese War.
