[Day 1] Departure time: Ningbo-Chengdu-Chunxi Road
One person, one backpack, one SLR, one ticket. Leave the familiar city and go to a strange place to learn about the wonders of the world. A person's travel was finally scheduled by me before I graduated. The destination this time is Chengdu, the land of abundance. For me, being on a plane for the first time, what was more fresh and worried was more. Before taking off, I had been thinking about a question: If the plane crashed, what was the probability of me surviving? Later, after taking off, I was attracted by the scenery outside the window, and my original worries had long been forgotten. The weather was cloudy that day. Looking down from the plane, it was extremely magnificent! Without saying much nonsense, go straight to the picture.
The flight time from Ningbo to Chengdu is about 1 hour. I arrived around 3 pm. Then I walked out of the airport and took the No. 303 bus from "Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport → City Ticket Office". The fare is 10 yuan. It is direct. The journey takes about half an hour, and then I went straight to the hotel-Chengdu Simshanju Hotel (Shaanxi Street Branch)(PS: The hotel I booked is in the "Tianfu Square Business District.) After settling down, I went straight to the legendary Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street, known as the No. 1 Commercial Street in the Midwest, the No. 1 Commercial Highland in the Midwest, and the Golden Street in Chengdu. Personally, I think Chunxi Road is very suitable for girls to stroll around. It is a good place for shopping. For a boy like me, I don't have much interest. After shopping for a while, I will go to the hotel to recuperate and prepare for the next day's trip.
Accommodation:
Chengdu Simshan Residence Hotel is located at No. 130 Shaanxi Street at the southwest corner of Tianfu Square in the center of the city. The exterior of the guest room is supported by the Shaanxi Guild Hall and sleeps around the courtyard of a Chinese classical garden. It is quiet in the hustle and bustle, clear and elegant.
Transportation tips: You can take Metro Line 1 and get off at Tianfu Square Station, walk east along Shudu Avenue to Zongfu Road, which takes about ten minutes on foot.
Personal feelings: I think Chunxi Road is very suitable for girls to stroll around. It is a good place for shopping. It is not very interesting for boys. After shopping for a while, I went back to the hotel to recuperate and prepare for the next day.
[Day 2] Looking at the story of the past: Chengdu-Guanghan Sanxingdui Site-Chengdu Sanxingdui Museum
During my travels, I will definitely visit local museums. I think understanding a city should start with its history.
The Sanxingdui Site is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It is a Bronze Age site in southwestern China. During excavation, it was named "Sanxingdui" because of the three loess piles that stood out on the Chengdu Plain. The Sanxingdui civilization inherited the ancient Shubaodun culture, and the Jinsha culture and the Cuban state. It lasted for about two thousand years. It was a representative of the early civilization in the Yangtze River Basin of our country and the earliest known civilization in our country's religious history so far.
Among the thousands of bronzes, jade tools, and gold utensils unearthed in the Sanxingdui Sacrifice Pit, the most distinctive bronze ware was selected. Among the bronzes are large and small human heads, standing figures, dragon-climbing cylindrical objects, copper birds, copper deer, etc. Among them, the bronze man's head image is exaggerated, resembling an alien, and has great local characteristics. The statue should have big eyes and a straight nose, square legs and big ears, wearing a crown, a left lap robe, and anklets.
The Sanxingdui bronzes are characterized by high shape, vivid shape and complex structure. In addition to portraits, there are also bronze shapes based on animals and plants, which are vivid and lifelike.
The world's earliest and tallest bronze divine tree was also unearthed at the Sanxingdui site. It consists of two parts: a tree base and a trunk. It is 384 cm high. The tree base is slightly conical and the base is circular. There are three clusters of branches, each cluster has three branches, and a total of nine branches. There are 27 fruits and nine birds on it, and there is a dragon edge tree winding down on the side of the tree. This bronze divine tree represents the oriental divine tree "Fusang".
At the Sanxingdui Museum, even the benches for tourists to rest seem as simple as unearthed cultural relics.
On the way back to Chengdu, I found an old train track and a steam train running. Moreover, Guanghan in February is already very warm. It is still winter in Ningbo. In the fields of Guanghan, large tracts of rapeseed flowers are already blooming.
Transportation tips: You can take buses Nos. 1, 7, 45, 63, 69, 70, 71, 83, and 302 to Zhaojue Temple Station in Chengdu City. Then you can buy a bus ticket to Guanghan, and take Bus No. 6 to Sanxingdui Museum after arriving at Guanghan Passenger Station. The whole journey takes about 1 hour (Zhaojue Temple Station-Guanghan Bus Station-Sanxingdui Museum).
Tickets: I bought a student ticket. The ticket price is 42 yuan, and the full ticket price is 80 yuan.
Personal feelings: If you go to the Sanxingdui Museum, you can follow the tour group and listen to the explanation. To be honest, you won't be able to see anything just by looking at these cultural relics yourself, unless you are an archaeological fan. Near the exit of Sanxingdui Museum, there are large tracts of rapeseed flowers, and interested children's shoes can also go there to enjoy the spring.
[Day 3] Praying water to Dujiangyan and asking about Qingcheng Mountain: Chengdu-Dujiangyan-Qingcheng Mountain-Chengdu
Early on the third day, I hurried to Chengdu North Bus Station and began the journey of "worshiping Dujiangyan on the water and asking about Qingcheng Mountain".
The Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project was built around 256 BC by Li Bing, the prefect of Shu Prefecture of Qin Dynasty, and his son. It is by far the oldest and only surviving grand water conservancy project in the world characterized by water diversion without dams. It is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. For more than 2,000 years, it has been playing a role in flood control and irrigation, making the Chengdu Plain a land of abundance where floods and droughts depend on people and thousands of miles of fertile land.
The Yuzui diversion embankment divides the rushing Minjiang River into two. The outer river is the original river bed, and the inner river is used for drainage and irrigation.
The diverted Minjiang River water is no longer turbulent and has become a source of water for local farmers to irrigate farmland.
It is worth mentioning that the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, which lasted for two thousand years, also withstood the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12, 2008. In addition to the damage to some tourist facilities, the main parts of the project, Yuzui, Baopingkou, Feisha Weir, etc., are safe and sound, which shows the superb skills displayed by ancient working people in water conservancy projects.
Today in Dujiangyan, I can still clearly see the traces left by the Wenchuan earthquake: cracked dangerous buildings and collapsed mountains. During the trip, I heard a local tour guide with a tour group say something that I still cannot forget: "Now behind the brand-new buildings and streets you can see in Dujiangyan are fragmented families."
About afternoon, I took the shuttle bus to Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area. My first impression of Qingcheng Mountain came from the Qingcheng Sect in the TV series "Swordsman", which was mysterious and evil. Qingcheng Mountain was created by Zhang Daoling, the founder of Taoism, and is listed as the "Fifth Cave" by Taoism. The Taoist temples in the entire mountain have Tianshi Cave as the core, including Jianfu Palace, Shangqing Palace, Zushi Hall, Yuanming Palace, Laojun Pavilion, Yuqing Palace, Chaoyang Cave, etc. Dozens of Taoist temples are well preserved.
"Qingcheng and the world is secluded" is worthy of its name. Qingcheng Mountain has towering ancient trees that block the sky and the sun. It has thousands of steps and winding paths leading to the secluded scenery. It is an excellent resort to cool off and escape the heat.
Transportation tips: A bullet train has been opened from Chengdu to Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain. Take Metro Line 1 to North Railway Station, and then take the bullet train to Dujiangyan. The fare is 15 yuan and the time is about half an hour. Then take the No. 4 bus to the scenic spot, which is about 20 minutes. You can take bus No. 101A from Dui Park in Dujiangyan Scenic Area to Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area. The journey takes about one hour.
Tickets: Due to the impact of the Wenchuan earthquake, many scenic spots in Dujiangyan were not open to the public, so I just wandered around Dujiangyan. The student ticket for Qingcheng Mountain Qianshan was 40 yuan, the full ticket was 80 yuan, the round-trip ticket was 60 yuan, and the sightseeing bus was 5 yuan.)
Personal feelings: The Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project is majestic. Its damless water diversion project has benefited thousands of people and made the Chengdu Plain fertile for thousands of miles; Qingcheng Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain, with its peaks, valleys, and palaces hidden in the lush mountains and forests. It lives up to the reputation of "Qingcheng World Serenity". One is the cultural landscape and the other is the natural customs. These two places are worth a visit.
[Day 4] Slow walking to Chengdu: Wuhou Temple-Jinli-Kuanzhai Alley
Chengdu Wuhou Temple is the only temple in China where monarch and minister worship together. It consists of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang's Shu Han monarch and minister worship together and Huiling. The Wuhou Temple is not large and can be visited in dozens of minutes. Visiting the Wuhou Temple is actually an understanding of Sichuan and Sichuan during the Three Kingdoms Period.
Walking out of Wuhou Temple, you will find Jinli. A short distance of several hundred meters, there are teahouses, theater houses, wine shops, handicraft workshops, craft shops, and gourmet shops, which have become must-see places to visit Chengdu.
In Jinli, you can feel the slowness of life in Chengdu. You can order a pot of green tea, watch a Sichuan opera and change your face, or spend a lazy afternoon alone or with three or five friends between the fragrance of tea and the music.
Chengdu is a city of food, and in Jinli, you can eat the most authentic Chengdu snacks. Three cannons, Dandan noodles, dragon wonton, bowl chicken... all kinds of delicious food will definitely make you feast on it and linger!
In the morning, I was full of wine and food in Jinli, and I came to Kuanzhai Alley again. Kuanzi Alley is composed of three parallel old streets: Kuanzi Alley, Narrow Alley, and Jingzi Alley, and the surrounding courtyard communities. This is a microcosm of Chengdu's changes from the city's past, where you can regain the appearance of old Chengdu.
Transportation tips: You can go directly to No. 1, No. 57, No. 82, No. 334, and No. 335, and get off at Wuhou Temple Station; Jinli is next to Wuhou Temple; take No. 57 at Wuhou Temple Station and get off at Shangye Jiekou Station. Then cross the road west and cross Renhou Street. (If you can't find the way, you can ask passers-by. People in Chengdu are very enthusiastic.)
Tickets: Wuhou Temple student ticket is 30 yuan, full ticket is 60 yuan, Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley are free.
Personal feelings: I think you should visit Wuhou Temple with the mentality of reading history, otherwise you will be a lot disappointed. Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley are relatively easy to visit, with delicious food, handicrafts, bars, exquisite cafes... food, drink and fun, making it a must-go place for young people who eat food and literature and art.
【Day 5] Leaving for the next long journey: Chengdu-Ningbo
Traveling is a contradictory psychological change. You are happy to leave, but you are thinking about going home. When I got on the passenger plane to Ningbo, I began to abandon the land of abundance under the white clouds and the many scenery that had not yet entered. Go back to better leave. Goodbye, Chengdu.
