Dujiangyan opened a new villa-style resort hotel this year-Chengdu Sunac Wanda Mandarin Hotel. I went from Chengdu to check out last week when I had time. The experience after staying was great and I must recommend it to everyone!!!
It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Chengdu to the Mandarin Hotel. The hotel is directly opposite Rongchuang Mao and Rongchuang Paradise, so staying here is super convenient whether you are going shopping or going crazy for fun.
The hotel lobby is built very generously, and the building is well integrated to show the legacy of the Shu Han Dynasty. When I first arrived here, I suddenly thought that I had traveled to a large family in the Shu Han Dynasty.
Also because the lobby area is very large, it gives people a very open and clean feeling.
Walking into the lobby, it is extremely high and tall. The prints on the left and right sides show "Praying Water Dujiangyan, Asking Qingcheng Mountain". The works are very exquisite and placed here also combine Dujiangyan culture with hotel culture.
There are several places to drink tea casually in the hotel lobby area. You can choose your favorite tea, sit down and enjoy your own time quietly, or drink tea and chat with friends, which is very comfortable.
I like this teahouse very much. The independent area will not be influenced by others, let alone others.
Chinese people pay attention to feng shui. Feng shui with its back to the mountain and facing the water is superior. This place was originally close to Zhaogong Mountain and Qingcheng Mountain, so when the hotel was built, it deliberately built an artificial lake in the middle, which is what we see today.
The pavilion in the lake is very touching. If there is another ancient woman playing guzheng or pipa in the courtyard, it will be even more artistic.
Opposite the lake, you can see the previously opened Sunac Wanda Jiahua Hotel and the Sunac Snow World, which is popular all year round. In the days when skiing was not very good in the south, indoor ski resorts really satisfied our desire to play in snow.
Because the entire hotel covers a large area, you can take such a shuttle bus from the lobby to the room. Usually, when you come out of the room, you can come slowly if you have leisure time. If you have luggage, you can call the room to get a taxi.
There is also a large tea garden in the hotel park. It should be very beautiful when the tea leaves are harvested around the Qingming Festival next year.
The roads in the park are very smooth, shuttle buses are convenient, and you will feel comfortable walking.
We stayed in a single bedroom on the first floor with its own hot spring soup pool. The door of this Chinese-style courtyard is indeed very retro and has a feeling of travel.
Walking into the courtyard door, the space in the single-family courtyard is still very considerable. There is a small garden before entering the house. If you wear Hanfu, you can still take very artistic photos.
The small details of the courtyard in front and back of the room are very interesting, a little Chinese traditional and a little Japanese.
Entering the room, the lounge is equipped with machine hemp, so that only 4 people can come to a table. This is great for Sichuan people who like mahjong.
The room is very large, with one bedroom, one living room and two bathrooms. The bedroom is very elegant, the bedding is also well selected, and the mattress has a very good support, allowing you to sleep well at night.
During the day, I prefer to sit on the sofa in the living room, drink tea, eat fruit, and work or watch TV for leisure.
Thin bamboo can be seen outside a few windows in the room. It is very artistic and gives 100 percent of details.
Opening the door, there is a large courtyard. There is a large soup pool in the courtyard. The temperature is between 40 and 42 degrees and it is steaming hot.
Autumn and winter seasons are the most suitable for soaking in the soup. Put on a swimsuit and soak in the water. It will be warm and you won't feel cold even at night.
At 3 p.m., we enjoyed a great floating afternoon tea in the soup pool, with desserts and fruit tea. We enjoyed it while soaking in the hot spring. Life was so cool.
Of course, delicious food is still secondary. The most important thing is that floating afternoon tea is so easy to take photos!!!

Speaking of afternoon tea, I have to mention the hotel's excellent dining. We had lunch at Pinzhen Chinese Restaurant at noon. The private room had a lake view and we could see the Jiahua Hotel across the lake. If the weather was good, we could also see the mountains.
After sitting down, the first thing I tasted was the hotel's special kimchi. It was sour and sweet, and had a bit spicy aftertaste. It was really the best kimchi I had ever tasted.
Pumpkin mousse sauce duck combines the process of Leshan sweet skin duck, a variety of Chinese herbal medicines, and 18 spices formula stewed for 5 hours and then soaked for 24 hours to create this unique sauce duck.
The taste is sweet but not greasy, supplemented by the aroma of the sauce. For me, who has no resistance to duck meat, I can eat this plate alone.
One serving of chicken soup stewed with ginseng fruits for each person is the most nourishing in autumn and winter.
Good local chicken, plus ginseng fruits grown in the snowy plateau above 3500 meters, is steamed in 8 hours. The soup is delicious and can nourish the stomach and nourish the skin. The therapeutic effect is excellent.
Roasted mutton with radish is the easiest to nourish in autumn and winter. The mutton is warm and suitable for eating more during this season.
The mutton selected here is very good and the cooking process is very particular, so the mutton does not have too strong mutton smell, which should be acceptable to people who don't like mutton very much.
Flowing water kimchi and flower bone fish, a dish combined with local characteristics. Using Qingcheng Mountain mineral snow blisters unique to the Dujiangyan area, together with the flower bone fish from the Minjiang River waters, the taste is sour, spicy and delicious. Even those who don't like to eat fish will not stop eating it. You can eat a bowl of white rice with one dish.
Steamed corn cake, this is a relatively characteristic staple food in Sichuan (I only ate it when I came to Sichuan and Chongqing). The raw material is corn. Choose the best corn without adding any additional materials (including sugar). Corn has its own sweet taste and soft and waxy taste. I suddenly fell in love with this staple food.
Chinese food must have green vegetarian dishes, which are clear and refreshing. This is perfect.
Dinner is at Jiwei All-Day Restaurant, where you have Western food.
The restaurant is huge and the environment is great. Breakfast was also enjoyed here the next day.
When eating Western food, it is naturally indispensable to have all kinds of breads, which are paired with butter, so you can eat less before meals.
The first ones served were 3 small samples. The jade ribbons were sweet and sour, which was very appetizing. The potato cakes were soft and glutinous, and the surface was fried and very crispy. I loved the taste.
The starter is arugula sweet orange nut salad, and the sweet orange juice is sour and sweet, mixed with a slightly bitter arugula. The taste is rich and layered, and girls generally like it.
The classic French meringue seafood chowder is a soup made by boiling and concentrating various seafood. It is really fresh. The color of the soup is also very appetizing. The fish, shrimp and green mouth in the soup are soaked in the soup and are very delicious.
Of course, what I want to praise most is the French meringue, which is really delicious (to put it in a low voice, it just puts on weight easily)

After the steak is fried, it is grilled over the surface with a musket gun, so the outside is a little crispy and the inside is tender and juicy. The amount of three steaks is really not small, and girls are usually full with 2 pieces.
Beef juice is best with steak, and mixed beans are surprisingly delicious, but the most unexpected thing is the black black garlic. It tastes soft and waxy without garlic flavor. It tastes a little sweet, a bit like dried blackcurrant taste. Taste.
Hokkaido double orange-flavored cheese dessert, the dessert is really great!! The shape of this orange is so realistic. Even the lines of the orange peel are depicted. The details are really loved.
In fact, I was a little reluctant to eat it, but in the end I still started it. The outer layer is orange-flavored chocolate and the inner layer is full of cheese. It is not very sweet and suits my taste.
After eating, you naturally have to go to relieve digestion and also visit the public area of the hotel.
The billiard hall, children's play area, gym, and swimming pool are all in similar places, making it the most suitable for people who want to exercise and keep fit.
The swimming pool is heated at a constant temperature. I think it's a little cooler in winter. The gym has a lot of equipment, so it's good to come and run on the treadmill later.
The hotel lights up at night, which is brighter than during the day.
The atmospheric Chinese-style buildings are matched with warm yellow lights, giving people a solemn feeling.
Opposite the hotel are Rongchuang Mao, Rongchuang Paradise, Rongchuang Water World and Rongchuang Snow World. It is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel lobby. It is not too convenient to go shopping at night.
My breakfast this day is semi-buffet (it will be a full buffet when there are many people). There are freshly drawn ramen in the noodle area and Sichuan-style ones, which is no worse than the specialized noodle restaurant outside.
This bowl of red noodles looks too appetizing.
We also ordered brown sugar pot helmets, 4 pieces per serving. The brown sugar is immersed in and delicious.
Well, our 2 days and 1 night at Sunac Wanda Mandarin Hotel in Dujiangyan came to a happy end. The dining environment and accommodation experience here have given us many surprises, and we look forward to meeting again next time.
