"Preface"
Hurrying by
Several times in Chengdu, my memory of Chengdu still stays on the return journey from the Xinzang Line. Except for the rainy night and the song "Chengdu" played in the carriage, I don't have much memory of the city.
When I visited again, I only spent three to five days throwing myself into this city. Although the time was short, I still felt the laziness and vitality here, as well as the luxury and heroism of Wanda Ruihua Hotel! As well as the temptation of delicious food in every corner and the fashionable girls walking in Taikoi...
As the saying goes, in the eyes of a thousand "boring people", there are a thousand Sufen children. So, in the eyes of a thousand people, there are also a thousand different Chengdu. What is Chengdu like in your eyes?
"About the hotel"
This trip stayed at the legendary seven-star hotel-Wanda Ruihua. In addition to the thoughtful services that can be seen everywhere, from the classic murals in the lobby to the ceiling lighting in the stairwell, to the massage chairs in the room and fully controlled mobile phones. Intelligent system... you will know what luxury is and what enjoyment of a hotel is!
Hot pot is the standard feature in this city in my mind, and the spicy taste buds have conquered the stomachs of people across the country. However, the Wanda Ruihua I met integrated the characteristics of hot pot into the sweetness and sweetness of afternoon tea. It has novel ways to play, and superior location and scenery have also become Chengdu's Internet celebrity check-in point. It is not only a place to drink afternoon tea, but also a busy city scenery at the foot of the room where I sleep. There are thousands of lights. Every ray of light is a story, and I just want to pass by here comfortably...
In addition to the sunset glow we encountered in the past few days, it has always rained patteringly these days, but the weather in Chengdu has not cooled down because of it. Watching rain beads rolling down one after another from the glass window, and then forming a rapid downward line, the building in the distance becomes increasingly hazy. After breakfast, go to the fitness center for a swim, or go to the hotel lobby Bar to witness the Internet celebrity afternoon tea. It's a luxury to spend the afternoon in such a designer hotel on a rainy day!
"About Food"
This city famous for its delicious food is simply a paradise for foodies. Naturally, I will not let go of popular restaurants and spend my limited time in three to five days to try more taste buds!
Deqimen Barbecue Oak Forest Store
Barbecue has always been an indispensable seasoning in nightlife. In the scorching summer, beer kebabs are worthy of the momentum of calling friends. I was arranged here by a friend before I even arrived in Chengdu. Just by hearing the name,"Deqi" is worthy of "kebabs"!
After settling in the hotel, I took a taxi directly. The location was easy to find. I could see it on the lower floor of Acorn Lane at 23 Oak Grove East Road. The wood-colored tables and chairs looked comfortable, and the environment was clean and tidy. I picked an outdoor table with my friends and sat down and asked the clerk to help recommend the specialties in the store.
Different from other barbecues, this uses a braised method. It is smoke-free and environmentally friendly, similar to the previous naan pit barbecue. It can not only maintain a certain amount of moisture but also be tender on the outside!
Internet celebrity pickled pepper wind claw, dried clothes shredded potatoes, all kinds of kebabs and vegetables... Freestyle dips can be added according to your own taste!
The taste was good, the service was very meticulous, and the clerk even helped peel the shrimp. The business in the entire store is very good. Sometimes, if you don't happen, you have to queue up. Make good use of the meal time. Their house only opens at night!
Jiyu Thai Seafood Hotpot-Tai Koo Li Store
Of course, I can't get a hot pot meal when I come to Chengdu. I was recommended by a friend to an Internet popular hot pot restaurant. After searching the rankings, it was at the top of the list. It was also my favorite Thai hot pot, so I went straight to the queue. When you go to the store and see rows of people queuing up to eat, you will know how popular this restaurant is!
The interior environment of the store is very beautiful and has a strong sense of design. There are a large number of green plants and potted plants on the first to third floors, plant decoration links in the stairwell, simple metal lines, and medium-gray-toned marble is the most popular fashion style at the moment. No wonder it has become an Internet celebrity shop!
After choosing the bottom of the most popular "tom yum soup", the first thing I saw was the milky white carp soup that had been boiled for four hours. Then the waiter adds fresh lemongrass, southern ginger, and Thai pepper, then adds the secret tom yum sauce, and finally adds coconut juice. Make sure to remember two bowls to drink the hot and rich soup. It tastes great!
Hot pot ingredients can be selected according to the shop assistant's recommendations. There are set meals with different portions, or you can order them individually according to your own tastes! The ingredients here are all very fresh. I recommend live shrimp. The meat is firm and tender. The most important thing is that the shop assistant and the young lady peel the shrimp quickly and quickly as if she is watching a performance... I have to say that the service here is very good, and every table has a thoughtful courtesy!
There are many kinds of dipping ingredients for hot pot, including classic traditional Thai style at scenic spots, signature lemon mint, secret Sichuan-scented millet spicy, spicy seafood, freshly fragrant pepper and sesame, strong peanut butter, Sichuan-scented dry dishes... If there are many people, I suggest ordering some different flavors and try it!
Don't forget the desserts and drinks here! It is beautiful, delicious and thoughtful. Perhaps the biggest reason why this restaurant is so popular!
Jiyu Thai Seafood Hotpot (Tai Koo Li Store) Business Hours: 11:00-22:00
Address: Gate 1, Jingrong Phase 2, Yangzhan Shopping Mall, No. 169, Xiadong Street (390 meters from Exit B of Chunxi Road Station, Metro Lines 2 and 3)
Chengdu Cheer-Zhimin Road Store
Speaking of Chengdu diners, this online celebrity restaurant with local characteristics is definitely a must-check in when coming to Chengdu! The hotel is not far from the hotel, just a few minutes by taxi! Although it was brunch time and before meal time when I left the hotel, the place was already full of customers! So coming here to their home really means traveling off-peak, otherwise it will be a long wait!
The store is clean and sanitary, and the decoration lacks local characteristics. I found the only remaining seat by the window to sit down and turn around and see Chengdu's small life! Clean streets, bright days, the delicious food at the moment!
Spicy and delicious is probably the label of this house. Many dishes are red at first glance, including peppers, peppers, and various peppers. The appetite increases greatly! If I meet a friend who can't eat spicy food, I can only regret for you that I have missed so many delicious food in life!
I always like to eat skinned shrimps, which is delicious and convenient! The streaking tuotuo shrimp just met my requirements! Don't forget to order some more kebabs and the dishes recommended by the staff! Those meals that make me drool just by looking at them really make me enjoy it!
Chengdu Chike (Zhimin Road Store) Business hours: 12:00--13: 30, 17:00--21: 00
Address: No. 48 Zhimin Road (150 meters walk from Exit B of Xinnan Gate of Metro Line 3)
Fishman Fish Cuts-Zhimin Road Store
Fisherman fish, authentic fish hot pot, and even the decoration reflects the characteristics of fishermen! Next to Chengdu diners, I decided to have dinner here because all the day's activities are nearby! A little later, there are still many people who are lovely.
Some retro decoration styles and wooden tables and bamboo chairs give the feeling of old Chengdu, as if you were in it and instantly integrated into the local area and became a leisurely old Chengdu person!
This pebble fish hot pot seemed to be very formal by several staff members, and the auspicious words "Fortune is turning" were posted on the pan with the pebbles... The entire production process filled the air with spicy and provocative flavor! It's not just smoke that rises, but also saliva from being hungry for half an afternoon...
The snacks in the store are also unique, such as kung fu ice powder, Indian flying cakes, mixed black chicken feet, pickled radish, salty glutinous rice balls, etc., which are served in earthen bowls. Each bowl is not simple. Coupled with this environment, eating here is really an enjoyment!
Per capita: 80 yuan
Address: No. 48 Zhimin Road
Roadside Mala Tang-Zhimin Road Store
I don't know when the roadside always appears in my vision! No matter which food software you are, you can see the recommendation information of spicy soup on the roadside. Since you are in Chengdu, you must try to blow up the roadside malatang in your circle of friends. It has almost become a representative of the flavor of old Chengdu.
For many hotels, the decoration here is really down-to-earth! Enamel utensils, small square tables and small wooden chairs, and mottled walls. Those who don't know will think they are in the wrong era!
There are some skewers of hot pot on the roadside that we usually eat. The bottom of the pot can choose whether it is spicy or not or not. Recently, we have eaten too much spicy, so we electrified the bottom of the pot and can use clear soup to order! Just serve it with a dry oil dish!
The clerk kindly recommended me the specialty tripe and pork brain flowers in the store, and went to get some skewers himself. I took as much as I could eat and whatever I wanted. This was still a good thing and not a waste!
The three restaurants behind them were extremely close because they were not far from the hotel, and they had been wandering around here for two days due to their itinerary. Then, when they saw that they were all at the top of the food rankings, they ate them all one by one...
Lan Kwai Fong Bar Street
In fact, this street should not be included in the ranks of delicious food. It is more like a tourist attraction, a tourist attraction for people who like to experience local life and regard travel as a leisurely and enjoyable life!
The bar street is opposite the Wanda Ruihua Hotel and a few hundred meters to the left. It is famous
Jiuyan Bridge is also next to it. Walking here from the room after dinner is a good plan to digest food.
The wind by the river blows away the heat of summer, and the night brings Chengdu into another picture. The resident singers in the bar sing their favorite songs one after another, and occasionally hear familiar melodies. They look at the crowds coming and going on the road. People who have not yet returned from drinking can not help but think of the song "Chengdu" played in the carriage...
"About Attractions"
Taikoo Li
The memories of summer are thick and humid, and the story of Taikoi continues around the next corner. This is Chengdu, and it is also the one-sided scene I saw in the COSCO Group's album!
Chengdu Ocean Taikoo Li is located in the heart of Chengdu. It is an open, low-density block-like shopping center jointly developed by Swire Properties and Ocean Group. It gathers a series of international brands and trendy clothing, and is also a favorite lively area for young people. Now it has become a sign of Chengdu and a holy place for many tourists to check in.
Chengdu Yuanyang Taikoo Li is located at Chunxi Road Subway Station, enjoying superior transportation and people flow advantages. The neighboring thousand-year-old temple Daci Temple adds unique historical and cultural charm to it. The intertwined lanes and open square spaces present different urban pulses. At the same time, the concepts of fast and slow lanes are introduced. The fun of life is worth playing with, the leisure taste of a metropolis, the numerous exquisite restaurants, the unique blend of history, culture and commerce. Atmosphere, you can also slowly enjoy a good time in a busy urban center...
Ask friends to go shopping or enjoy tea. Tai Koo Li is a good choice. You can always find a place to store your thoughts. Maybe the bookstore next to it is just the choice you want!
Jinli Ancient Street
It has been some time since I came back from Chengdu. I wonder if there are still so many people in Jinli? For the impression of the same ancient street, Jinli Ancient Street finally has a special atmosphere. It is still bustling and brightly lit, but you can always meet different characters dressed up in cosplay at the next corner...
Wuhou Temple is the only temple in China where monarch and minister worship together, the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and the heroes of the Shu Han Dynasty, and the most influential museum of the Three Kingdoms relics in the country. Jinli is part of the Wuhou Temple Museum. The street has a total length of 550 meters. It is a tourist street developed from the folk houses of western Sichuan in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and the culture of the Three Kingdoms and Chengdu folk customs. Legend has it that Jinli was once one of the oldest and most commercial streets in the history of Western Shu. It was famous nationwide as early as the Qin, Han and Three Kingdoms periods. Of course, Jinli has now become a famous pedestrian commercial street in Chengdu City, known as "
The First Street in Western Shu "is known as the" Chengdu version of the Qingming Festival Shanghe Map ".
It can be said that this street is the essence of the condensation, with tea houses, inns, restaurants, bars, stage, snacks, handicrafts, and local specialties, fully demonstrating the unique charm of the culture of the Three Kingdoms and Sichuan folk customs. You can appreciate the craftsmanship of making clay figurines and putting sugar paintings, or visit shops with the characteristics of the Three Kingdoms. There are also various Sichuan specialty snacks on the street...
Walking straight in along the street, red lights are hung high, flags are fluttering, small bridges and flowing water, pavilions are hidden, people are constantly passing by, and enthusiasts dressed in cospaly constantly enter the camera. This is a street where fashion and history coexist. It is also a place different from some ancient towns.
Chengdu's laidness is reflected in every corner. Walking along, there will always be people chatting at the bridge head and sipping tea on the street. The wooden houses, stone slabs, and the shouts of shouts always drag me into the ancient scene of the movie for a moment.
The night is hazy and the sky is getting darker. The prosperity of Jinli has just begun. Under the antique buildings, there is also a sense of leisure and ease as they move forward in response to the crowd, as if every brick here can send a relaxed signal to the body. I didn't plan to eat here, but the snack bars I passed by one always made me irresistible!
I don't know when ancient streets have been built in cities large and small. It seems to have become the cultural mark of a city. Now Jinli has naturally become an antique commercial street. Fortunately, it does not lose the fashionable and lazy soul of Chengdu. It is very valuable to be full of humanity and not too far from culture!
Sichuan Art Museum
Visiting art galleries and bookstores has always been my way of exploring a city. Naturally, I don't want to be an exception when I come to Chengdu. This is confirmed by the convenient location. The new Sichuan Art Museum is the seat of the Sichuan Province Artists Association and is located at the intersection of Dongchenggen Street and Renmin West Road in Qingyang District, Chengdu City.
Northwest side of Tianfu Square. It is an avant-garde building with a height of 38 meters and a total of 6 floors. It has two underground floors, six floors above ground, and four floors in part. The overall shape is like a "Ruyi" building lying across the ground.
The building consists of a polygonal main building and a rectangular auxiliary building. The auxiliary building adopts a sloping roof. From the main entrance, the wall is like a drawn curtain, which is very beautiful and full of modernity. After its completion, it also formed a cultural gathering area with the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum, Sichuan Province Library, Chengdu City Museum, Jincheng Art Palace, Tianfu Grand Theater and other cultural venues around Tianfu Square.
Chengdu City Art Museum
noisy
At the entrance of the wide and narrow alleys, there is a quiet and large house. This is also what I felt at first sight. The bright ginkgo trees reflect the residential houses in western Sichuan that come in and out three times. I heard that many artists are often gathered here, and the old house is still uninterrupted. Art exhibitions are held. Two plaques are hung on the door of this house with beautiful environment and noble humanities-"Chengdu City Art Museum".
Chengdu Painting Academy is the earliest modern public painting academy established in Sichuan Province. It was founded in 1980 and is a cultural institution that creates and studies painting art and carries out related academic activities. Later, in 2010, the "Chengdu City Art Museum" sign was added here and co-located with the Chengdu Academy of Painting.
The exhibition room has been renovated in accordance with the standards of the Public Welfare Art Museum. All of them are internally added without damaging the building itself, and the mixed architectural structure of wearing buckets and beams is retained. I heard that this place has been used as an artist's studio for a long time, and many excellent works have been produced.
Today, this Chengdu City Art Museum, located in the old courtyard of the Chengdu Painting Academy, is open for public welfare for more than 300 days every year, holding no less than 15 exhibitions and more than 12 public and educational activities. Although the exhibition line of the exhibition hall is only 180 meters, it has become an important art exhibition venue in Chengdu due to its high exhibition quality. This is also an important reason why I particularly want to come here to see the exhibition.
The existing building of the Chengdu Academy of Painting dates from the early 1980s. The overall style is the style of residential houses in southern Sichuan in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It covers an area of 2,238.54 square meters and a building area of 1744 square meters. It is the largest and most intact building existing in the Kuanzhai Alley area.
The buildings of the Chengdu Academy of Painting are basically symmetrical on the axis. The three-entrance courtyards are hidden away from the lush ancient ginkgo trees and are integrated with the strong cultural heritage. They are a good place for cultural edification and taking photos.
kuanzhai alley
"Traveling in Sichuan, the taste is wide and narrow." I don't know when this place has become one of the symbols of Chengdu. What made me fall in love with this place is the patchy rain. The rainwater drips down the eaves of the house and penetrates into the stone slabs along the indigo tiles. After the wet alley, it adds a touch of charm...
Kuanzhai Alley is located near Changshun Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It consists of wide alley, narrow alley,
The wells and alleys are arranged in parallel, all of which are antique courtyards made of indigo bricks and tiles. This is also a relatively large-scale ancient street of the Qing Dynasty left over from Chengdu.
Kuanzhai Alley is known as the "Commercial Pedestrian Street with Chinese Characteristics" and a famous historical and cultural street in Sichuan Province. It contains the largest and most complete old buildings in the entire block. Here, you can enjoy a bowl of tea, eat authentic Sichuan cuisine, and experience the customs and customs of old Chengdu. In the past two years, it has also been known as Chengdu's New Ten Scenes and Sichuan's Top Ten Most Beautiful Streets...
There are many Sichuan opera elements in the narrow alleys. Sichuan opera is one of the traditional Chinese opera operas and is popular in eastern and central Sichuan, Chongqing, and parts of Guizhou and Yunnan. Sichuan opera facial makeup is an important part of the performing art of Sichuan opera. It is an artistic treasure jointly created and passed down by Sichuan opera artists of past dynasties.
This place is also known as the Food Street. You can see many specialty food shops everywhere. When you are tired, find a teahouse inside to make a cup of tea and enjoy the taste of old Chengdu!
This place is defined by many as a microcosm of life in Chengdu, representing the most popular and market-oriented folk culture in Chengdu. The winding path is full of specialty shops and shops on both sides.
Chengdu snacks include tea drinking, ear picking, Sichuan opera face-changing and other activities. You can well experience the humanistic characteristics and folk culture of Bashu.
If time permits, it's okay to come here and check in. In addition to tasting tea and delicious food, it is also worthwhile to experience the slow life in Chengdu and take a look at the old buildings.
people's Park
In Chengdu, the park can best show the living conditions of Chengdu people, and when it comes to parks, the people's park can best stand out from the encirclement. Here is Chengdu's largest open-air teahouse, with bamboo chairs, square tables, and bowls of tea... I enjoy the shade under the trees in summer and feel the lifestyle that belongs to "Old Chengdu"...
There is no crowded alley here, nor is there the hustle and bustle of Jinli, but the leisurely display is just right! People's Park is located on Shaocheng Road, Ancestral Street, Chengdu. It was formerly known as Shaocheng Park. It was built in 1911 and is now a comprehensive garden integrating cultural relics with leisure and entertainment.
The origin of Shaocheng Park is directly related to the naming of the city in old Chengdu. Chengdu was originally divided into big city and small city. As early as 311 BC, during the reign of King Hui of Qin, Chengdu had Taicheng (also known as Dacheng) and Shaocheng (also known as Small City).
The park is similar, but there is nothing special about it from the outside. More than 100 years of time have left only those two monuments. Drinking tea, writing, setting up Longmen Array, and eating Chengdu snacks are stories that have always continued here. This is also the street park where Chengdu people like to come and drink tea leisurely.
There are many places to drink tea in the park, including Chengdu's largest open-air tea room, bamboo chairs, square tables, covered bowls of tea, and then order a cup of green bamboo leaves and snow in the blue pool. In summer, I enjoy the shade under the trees, and in winter, I sundry under the sun dam, drink cups and bowls of tea, and set up the Halongmen Array. Locals have turned the current situation into a normal life, drinking a pot of tea for a day, chatting, playing cards, or sitting by the pavilion sipping tea and enjoying fish...
The environment in the park is quiet and they really enjoy life. On one side, there is a mahjong teapot, and on the other side, there is a rippling lake. The wind blows, willows sway, and from time to time, small boats will pass by to break the tranquility of the lake.
There are no groups of tourists here, nor are there various small vendors hawking, only the most authentic Chengdu flavor. In such a peaceful place, it is inevitable to be affected by the surrounding environment, and the desire to sit down and make a pot of tea is extremely high! I really want to sit in old age with friends in twos and threes with unlimited refills of tea...
I have to say that Chengdu is a very suitable city to live in. Not only can you drink a cup of green tea, you can also watch a tea-making performance by your sister. If you meet a vendor selling bean pudding, you can have a bowl of bean pudding, or find a recliner and get up to sleep and call a master ear picking master to pick up your ears. You can't even move your whole person. This is the true meaning of "stealing a half-day life."
