[Preface]

Chengdu, the city name has not been changed and the city site has not been moved in 3000.

From the top to the princes and generals, from the bottom to the rising and fighting people,

They stepped onto this stage of all living beings one by one,

Together, we have built the most fireworks city in China!

Those who like history, this is the birthplace of the ancient Shu Kingdom and an important place for the Three Kingdoms

For those who like music,"Chengdu" is being sung everywhere

For those who like animals, there are irresistible giant pandas here

For those who like delicious food, there are hot pot, skewers, snacks and various Sichuan cuisine, which are known as the food paradise

The life of Chengdu people is leisurely in the eyes of most people. Drinking tea and picking ears in the park is daily life.

The other side of Chengdu is prosperous again. If you visit Taikoli on Chunxi Road, you will know how prosperous this city is

I passed through Chengdu twice, but I didn't have an in-depth tour. This time, I brought my parents and came to Tianfu City to enjoy three days of leisurely life. What does Chengdu look like? Come with me to see the city of Chengdu.

[Strategies]

Traveling with parents is more relaxed and lazy, which is more in line with Chengdu's temperament. Chengdu is actually the middle of this long-distance trip. Xiamen was particularly sultry this summer. At the beginning of July in midsummer, I took my parents all the way from Lijiang-Chengdu-Chongqing. Travel has become a part of life, and records are also for better memories.

1. About transportation:Chengdu has Shuangliu International Airport, and most cities at home and abroad have direct routes. There are four stations: Chengdu East Station, Chengdu South Station, Chengdu West Station, and Chengdu Station. The subway also covers a wide range, with more than ten lines. Public transportation is actually very convenient. But taking a taxi with your parents and advising three or four people is actually more convenient to take a taxi. Taxi in Chengdu is really cheap, even though Chengdu is severely congested. orz……

2. About accommodation:As the capital of Sichuan, there are many accommodation options. In terms of location, I recommend it near Chunxi Road, a tourist distribution center with convenient transportation. This time, I stayed at a B & B on Zhimin Road, not far from Chunxi Road. It has two bedrooms and one living room, which is suitable for families. Moreover, Zhimin Road is probably a newly emerging Internet celebrity food street in Chengdu. It is so convenient to find food around it.

3. About surrounding groups:One day on this trip, I signed up for a one-day trip to Panda Base + Dujiangyan. If you just go to the Panda Base, you don't need to follow a group. If you have the strength and time, you are recommended to go to Lower Qingcheng Mountain. Because this time he mainly took his parents out to play, the 60s wanted to stop climbing the mountain, so he chose the relatively easy trip to Dujiangyan.

4. About attractions tickets:Popular tourist attractions such as Jinli, Kuanzhai Alley, and Taikoi are all free. Tickets for the Giant Panda Base are 56 yuan, Wuhou Temple is 50 yuan, and Dujiangyan is 80 yuan. What is very conscientious is that all scenic spots for people over the age of 60 are free of charge. Compared with many scenic spots in China that are only free of charge for people over the age of 70, it can be said that this is very preferential treatment for the elderly. After all, not many elderly people who can travel at the age of 70.

5. Overview of the itinerary:

[On the first night of Day1 in Chengdu, kebabs and beer were all over the sky]

On the first stop in Chengdu, I put down my luggage and went to Chengdu's most popular barbecue restaurant. It was the only kebab restaurant selected on the must-eat list.

Oak Grove Store is located on the first floor of Oak Grove Food Court and can be seen when you get off the elevator. Their home is characterized by cylinder stove barbecue, rather than the charcoal barbecue we traditionally see. The skewers are put into the cylinder and braised, so that the roasting is more evenly heated.

The skewers served are all slightly spicy. If you want to eat spicy ones, you can dip them in some dipping ingredients.

Black pepper beef steak and Zizi sheep steak are especially recommended. The meat quality is super good and the heat is just right.

The meat is delicious, the skewer is huge, and the meat is delicious.

Thai tiger shrimp. It's very considerate that the waiter will help you peel the shell. The meat quality of tiger shrimp is Q bomb.

Pig pork belly, if you like fat and lean, you must not miss this pork belly. The taste is perfect at the entrance.

Vegetarian dishes can also be grilled kebabs, such as potato slices, corn segments, March melons, colored peppers, and mushrooms. It is recommended to dip them in the sauce for vegetarian dishes.

In addition to skewers, cold dishes must also be highly recommended. Shake your chicken feet in the sound, which is a big hit. It comes with a glass jar. The chicken feet are quite spicy and suitable for serving with wine.

The shape of shredded potatoes for drying clothes on the table is really like a drying rack. The shredded potatoes are hung on it, which is very imposing! The shredded potatoes are cool and spicy, and the first bite I thought they were fans.

It's great to go with a beer or Weiyi soy milk. Eating kebabs in Chengdu is exciting!

Nightlife in Chengdu also stays late, and it is normal to open until early morning. After all, there is such a good place as the "Tavern on Yulin Road" on the night of the song.

[Day2: The leisurely and ancient charm of Chengdu, drinking tea in People's Park, and viewing the Three Kingdoms in Wuhou Temple]

Sleep until you wake up naturally in the morning, then today, just stroll around the park like an old Chengdu.

All living beings in People's Park

People's Park has a history of more than 100 years. It was built in 1911 and was formerly known as "Shaocheng Park". Here you can intuitively feel the slow pace of life in Chengdu people. This park is very close to Chengdu's famous scenic spot, Kuanzi Alley, so many tourists also choose to come here to experience the life of Chengdu people. I visited Kuanzhai Alley a few years ago when I passed through Chengdu, but this time it was not the focus.

There are trees in the park. July and August are the season when lotus flowers are in full bloom. Lotus flowers stand tall there in different postures. Some are ready to bloom, some have two or three petals open, and some are all in full bloom. Some are in full bloom. Some look like graceful girls... With lotus flowers, of course, lotus leaves are like big umbrellas, which protect these girls from the wind and rain, making these lotus flowers more pink and beautiful.

Nestled among these lotus and green trees, it is another important place of life and pastime in Chengdu-the tea house. I just casually counted there were three or four of them, each with bamboo chairs. Under the shade of the trees, after the guests sat down, a waiter came to ask if they needed tea.

Among the many tea houses, the most famous one is Heming Tea House, and it is also the most popular one. It is probably an old teahouse that was born with People's Park.

There is also a traditional tiger stove here, with a copper pot on it steaming. This ancient method of boiling water is rare in the country, not to mention Chengdu.

The price of tea ranges from a dozen yuan to thirty to fifty yuan. Unlike Kung Fu tea in southern Fujian, tea here is often drunk by immersion, and the varieties of tea are of course different. Tea shops use "cover bowls" to drink tea. The "Gai Bowl" consists of three heads: a tea bowl, a tea lid and a tea boat. It is known as the Three Fortresses and also known as the "Sancai Bowl". The cover is the sky, the support is the ground, and the bowl is the person. Among them, tea boat is also called tea boat. It is said that it was invented in Chengdu by the daughter of Cui Ning, the governor of Xichuan during the Jianzhong period of Dezong of the Tang Dynasty.

Of course, one of the unique skills that represents Chengdu must be mentioned here-"ear picking", commonly known as ear picking, is also one of the seventy-two tricks in China and is also known as "one of the three major folk comforts"(the other two are bathing and pinching feet). Cai 'er was popular in developed areas of Sichuan and Sichuan in ancient times. The more social status the group, the easier it seemed to be to lack it under huge work pressure. Only high-ranking officials and dignitaries could enjoy it. During the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, Caier began to flow into the people and integrated into the traditional hairdressing industry. It was not lost in the war-torn years and was preserved and developed. It was once a must-have item in the royal court. Highly skilled ear picking masters served those princes and ministers all year round. At this point, ear picking has become a great enjoyment in life, and now Chengdu is full of streets and alleys.

Every tea house in Chengdu has ear picking masters, and five out of ten tea takers enjoy ear picking services. Many tourists also choose to come and experience it when they come to Chengdu. The charges vary slightly from place to place. For example, Heming Tea House costs 30 yuan for ear picking alone, and 100 yuan for ear washing. The whole process is actually very short and ends in about 5 minutes. Therefore, many tourists lamented: "The process is very comfortable, but it is short and expensive"! Of course, as a recreational stunt, I think it's worth experiencing when I come to Chengdu. It's crispy and numbing, and it's indescribable feeling.

The park is still quite big. After walking around slowly for about 2 hours, you can feel that Chengdu people are really leisurely and the teahouses are full of life. What you see here is the unspeakable tranquility and comfort.

Eat a Chengdu-style fish hot pot

Many people have the impression that Chengdu's food is mostly spicy. Traveling to Chengdu with their parents, the elderly are not able to eat spicy food. After visiting People's Park in the morning, they returned to the vicinity of Zhimin Road where they lived and chose this very popular fish fry hot pot.

The environment is very antique, with bamboo hats, coir coats, and small fishing boats. It really feels like a fisherman. In addition, the tables and chairs are quite contemporary and nostalgic. The food rack on the table is also very distinctive. It is a rotatable round log ring with a stone pot left in the middle.

The choice is a lemon and ginger pot with low spiciness. When served, there are hot stones placed at the bottom of the stone pot. There is also an unsealing ceremony,"The stone comes to work", which is a good sign. Then put the naked spotted fish into the bottom of the pot, then pour in the base of lemon and ginger soup, cover the lid and simmer for a while, and serve.

The waiter will come over and help you scoop a spoonful of soup into the seasoning plate. You can roll the fish slices in the seasoning plate before eating them. They will be more delicious ~

Eating fish pots can also be paired with snacks, and their snacks are also very unique. For small dishes, you can order more items, and the unit price is also very cheap. Starting from 5 yuan. It's also interesting to put it in a circle! Farmhouse soil jelly, jelly Q-bomb, slightly spicy taste stimulates the taste buds, is cool and spicy, and is very enjoyable. The secret soaked radish is sour and appetizing. Red oil chicken feet, Q bombs are chewy, and they are good with wine. Tongzi cake and black rice glutinous rice cake are both glutinous rice cake. They taste soft and glutinous and are also excellent for staple foods.

The drink is paired with iced sour plum soup and sea and sky color. It is suitable for summer and can instantly cool down and quench your thirst.

Fishermen and young fish are suitable for all ages. Eating such a fish hot pot is extremely satisfying and it also feels like ancient food!

Wuhou Temple, I didn't expect the most amazing thing to be this red wall

To be honest, I am not a fan of the Three Kingdoms, and I am not a good reader of history. As for the Wuhou Temple, I had been conflicted about whether to visit it. As a landmark in Chengdu, it is also the only temple in China where the monarch and minister worship together and the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and the heroes of the Shu and Han Dynasties, and also the most influential museum of the Three Kingdoms relics in the country, so I went to check in.

I really don't know much about history, so I just walked through it in a hurry. The entire Wuhou Temple faces north to south. The main building, the gate, the second gate, the Han Zhaolie Temple, the passage hall, and the Wuhou Temple, are strictly arranged on a central axis from south to north. Liu Bei Hall is the tallest and the most majestic building. Behind the Wuhou Temple are also buildings such as Sanyi Temple and Jieyi Tower.

It is now divided into three parts: the cultural relics area, the garden area and the Jinli area. For people who do not understand history, the garden area and the Jinli area may find more interesting. There is no charge in Jinli, which is described separately below. The entire vegetation in the garden area is very lush, with shady trees, making it more comfortable to visit.

The most unexpected thing during the entire tour was this red wall. It was really a good place to take photos. The simple red color reveals the solemn atmosphere of the palace. It has the style of the Forbidden City and is very photogenic. As an official model, my mother took many photos here, all of which were very artistic.

Jinli, the Three Kingdoms and Folk Customs, Chengdu must check in

If you can't understand the Wuhou Temple, then I would recommend you to come to the "Jinli", which is more relevant to the earth. Legend has it that Jinli was once one of the oldest and most commercial streets in the history of Western Shu. It was famous throughout the country as early as the Qin, Han and Three Kingdoms. At present, Jinli covers an area of more than 30000 square meters, a building area of more than 14000 square meters, and a total length of 550 meters. It is based on the folk houses of western Sichuan in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and the culture of the Three Kingdoms and Chengdu folk customs as its connotation. It integrates tourism, shopping, leisure and entertainment.

When you come in the afternoon, you can feel the popularity here, and at night, the crowd is crowded with each other. It can be said to be the most popular check-in point in Chengdu, even surpassing Kuanzhai Alley. And the traffic nearby is of course the hardest hit area.

The whole neighborhood is ancient and ancient. On this street, the essence of Chengdu life is condensed: there are teahouses, inns, restaurants, bars, stage, snacks, handicrafts, and local specialties, fully demonstrating the unique charm of the Three Kingdoms culture and Sichuan folk customs.

There are also many displays of craftsmen here, such as sugar blowers, silhouette lights, etc. These craftsmen's toys are not only loved by children, but also by adults. They are nostalgic and retro.

Although the entire neighborhood was rebuilt later, it does not have the feeling of forced rejuvenation. It is very grassroots and very Chengdu. Here, not only tourists, but you can also see many locals who love to come. Drinking tea, watching movies and listening to ears is the daily routine of Chengdu people. Moreover, he found that the price of picking ears here was actually cheaper than that of People's Park, so he decisively gave it a try.

Teahouses, theater buildings, wine shops, handicraft workshops, handicraft stalls, and food shops are all over the neighborhood. They are lively and friendly and make people linger. There is also a delicious street that contains all kinds of famous snacks with the most Sichuan characteristics, making every tourist addicted to it.

In Jinli, there is always one place that will haunt you.

Be a "Chengdu eater"

Among Chengdu's delicacies, there is one restaurant that must be mentioned. It is famous for queuing, and that is Chengdu's eaters!

It was still on Zhimin Road, and the queue started before 6 o'clock in the evening. The business was really hot. On the upper and lower floors, there are various bamboo baskets hanging on the stairs leading to the second floor, which looks very nostalgic.

Their dishes are relatively integrated, and even one dish can serve multiple specialties such as skewers, hot pot, and grilled fish. There are many flavors of specialty grilled fish slices. The choice is home-cooked pickled pepper flavor. It is a little amazing when served. It has a long plate and is still being heated underneath. The fish is not whole, but the fish is cut into slices and strung on bamboo sticks, and then the whole is soaked in the soup. The pickled pepper taste is spicy and delicious, very appetizing, and the soup is also excellent for pouring rice! Don't give up after eating the fish. There are also full of side dishes at the bottom of the pot, not to be missed.

The mandarin ducks boil the beef, and then pour it with hot oil after serving. It is very imposing. Of course, you have to be careful of splashing oil. The beef is heated and then heated. It is very tender. When the meat is served, the meat slices should still be medium done. After this operation, the meat slices are cooked just right. The recipe for mandarin ducks is to use clear soup on one side and chili and red oil on the other side. Of course, the spicy side will be more delicious.

Duck sausage dipped in water with leek flavor. When I first served, I thought it was noodles. The taste is very crisp and has a light leek flavor. It is served with a plate of seasoning. If you like spicy, you can dip it into a flavored plate.

Kong Ganfan, this is no ordinary rice. It has a great history and is said to have been passed down in Sichuan for thousands of years. When the table is served, the small stove is served together. Cut beans, potatoes, and old bacon into grains and stir-fry them, place them on the bottom of the pot, cover them with half-cooked rice, and add a small amount of water. It is said that when cooking, you need to use chopsticks to insert air holes. Serve the table, lift the lid, and quickly stir fry with a spatula. The rice is particularly fragrant and nutritious.

The small dish, lovesickness and beauty, is actually a small tomato, which is very appetizing.

In summer, order another pot of iced pear soup, which is served in a very contemporary thermos bottle. Make the pear with rock sugar thick and clear the heat.

Chengdu diners who must check in when they come to Chengdu are indeed worth recommending!

[Day3 looks at the cute children and sighs about the thousand-year water conservancy project]

Men, women and children kill each other, and the cute and lovely Tuanzi Kingdom

I came to see Tuanzi twice in a year. I really love it. My parents have never been to the panda base, so they still have to see it when they come to Chengdu. So when I made arrangements, there were really many people in the summer vacation season in July compared to when I came at the end of February. The first time I went by myself, this time I went with the group. If you are not going to Qingcheng Mountain in Dujiangyan, it is actually recommended to travel freely. It is recommended that you take the through train from Kuanzhai Alley to Chunxi Road to Giant Panda Base. You can buy a round-trip train, 9.9 one way and 19.9 round trip. You can hop on and off four times at Kuanzhai Alley, Chunxi Road, and Giant Panda Base. Very convenient. The first bus departs from Kuanzhai Alley at around 8:30 and leaves at intervals of 15-20 minutes. It takes about 45 minutes one way. There are basically places to sit in in the off-season, and direct trains are relatively convenient. Chengdu's tourism services are still in place. The advantage of following a group is that you can go directly to the scenic spots without having to trouble yourself.

Tuanzi Kingdom during the summer vacation can only be described as everyone. The tour guide took us directly to the most important Moon Delivery Room because this is a one-way visit. Although there are many people, it is relatively orderly. I saw this giant panda that loves to climb trees again. It always likes to stick itself in the branches of the trees and take a nap. It's really funny. No wonder so many people like this cute thing.

It's very close here, and you can see them eating bamboo in various postures, lying down, sitting, leaning against each other, a happy life like a national treasure. It is divided into several areas, but in fact there is no difference in essence, because all the dumplings only do this.

I was very lucky to see newborn panda cubs this time. They were really different from adult pandas. The wet nurses were feeding them with bottles.

Compared with giant pandas, I prefer red pandas. There is also a red panda activity field in the park. The fluffy one looks cuter than the giant panda. And he is strong and agile. The activity venue is almost open, and you can encounter red pandas on the roadside, making your heart feel cute.

The peacock flying on the tree is really proud.

There are all kinds of lovely souvenirs sold in the park and outside, and I can't put them down.

Eat at a panda themed restaurant

Unexpectedly, the lunch with the group would be so good this time. It was in a restaurant called "Linyin Riverside", on the way to Dujiangyan.

The entire layout is full of panda elements, no wonder it is called Panda Garden Restaurant. It is a small group in itself, and it is divided into three tables, with six people per table. It's cool. There was a large serving array, with a large steamer and a four-story shelf placed next to it.

A large table was filled, which subverted my impression that domestic group meals were terrible and insufficient. It's really a special meal of Sichuan impressions, famous snacks + special Sichuan cuisine, cute panda buns, Mao Xuewang, couple lung slices, glutinous rice cakes, Mapo tofu, malatang, cold noodles, etc.

After eating and drinking your fill, we set out for the next stop, Dujiangyan.

Dujiangyan, sigh for the two-thousand-year water conservancy project

Dujiangyan is by far the oldest, only remaining and still in use in the world, characterized by diversion of water without dams. It embodies the crystallization of the hard work, courage and wisdom of the ancient Chinese working people. It takes about 2 hours to come from Chengdu. If you don't follow a group tour, there is also a through train from the scenic area. If you have time, I suggest visiting Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain together, and you can also stay here for one night. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but it is also a summer resort. She specially chose to follow the group because her route goes from top to bottom, which saves a lot of physical strength in climbing mountains and is more suitable for the elderly.

The tour sequence is to first go from the Buyun Corridor to the "Yulei Pavilion", the highest point of view, and watch the panoramic view of Dujiangyan. Then go down the mountain to visit three project parts, Yuzui, Feisha Weir and Baopingkou.

The Buyun Corridor is an escalator, said to be the second longest escalator in Asia. The use of modern facilities makes climbing less difficult.

Climbing the Yulei Pavilion, it is said that the third and fourth floors are the best viewing points, and tour guides are usually here to explain. You can overlook the entire Dujiangyan urban area from here. The Urban area you see now was basically rebuilt after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. At that time, it was also one of the most severely affected areas. It is said to be 17 kilometers away from Yingxiu Town, the epicenter of the earthquake.

From a commanding position, you can also have a panoramic view of this world-renowned water conservancy project, Yuzui, Feisha Weir, and Baopingkou. The advantage of following a group is that you can understand the history of a place through a tour guide. For example, this Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project. If you come here yourself, you probably won't be able to see anything mysterious about it.

After coming from Sir Yulei, you can go all the way down to the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project. You encounter some tourists climbing up from the foot of the mountain along the way. I am very glad that you chose this route. After all, it is summer, although the scenic area is lined with trees, it is still hot.

In the Erwang Temple, the main hall of the temple houses statues of Li Bing and his son, as well as famous quotes on water control, poet steles, etc. The buildings are distributed on the east bank of the Dujiangyan Canal Head. They are large in scale, rigorous in layout, and extremely quiet. It is a famous scenic spot that combines temples and gardens.

The Anlan Cable Bridge is located above the Yuzui of Dujiangyan and spans the two rivers inside and outside. It is known as the "Five Great Bridges in Ancient China" and is the most characteristic landscape in Dujiangyan. Standing on the bridge or taking pictures from the fish mouth is the best viewing point.

The Yuzui Water Diversion Dike, also known as "Yuzui", is a water diversion project in Dujiangyan. It is named for its shape like a fish mouth. It hangs high in the center of the Minjiang River and includes a complete set of cooperating facilities such as Baizhang Cha and Jingang Dike. Its main function is to divide the surging Minjiang River into two inner and outer rivers. The west is called the Waijiang River, commonly known as the "Jinma River". It is the main flow of the Minjiang River and is mainly used for flood discharge; the one along the foot of the Minjiang River in the east is called the Neijiang River, which is an artificial water diversion channel and is mainly used for irrigation. What seems to be a simple watershed actually contains great wisdom.

There is a battery car to ride from Yuzui to Feishayan. It is 10 yuan per person. It is not far to walk, about 15 minutes. It is recommended to walk and you can see the river view along the way.

Feisha Weir and Baopingkou are together and you can visit and experience them together. The wisdom of our ancestors more than 2000 years ago is really admirable.

The last scenic spot is Lidui Park, with a couplet at the gate of the park: "Complete the God Yu Axe Spinning Skill, the land and sea are unparalleled, the great book of the river and canal Qin Shouhui; Take the beautiful water of all Shushan Mountain, guide the river first, and the famous garden shines brightly in Hua Yang."

In the park, there is a small hill with 42 steps, which is Lidui. It is an isolated pile separated by Li Bing opening the mouth of the treasure bottle and chiseling the jade mountain. There are also attractions such as Fulong Temple and Dujiangyan Museum.

This ancient ginkgo pile head is said to have been planted by Zhang Song in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. It is still slender and graceful, with luxuriant branches and leaves, like a crane, holding the aura of the mountains and rivers here. It is said that it has even borne fruit. This is also the prototype of the ginseng fruit tree taken in the 86th edition of Journey to the West.

Outside Lidui Park, there is the South Bridge, a super-magnificent covered bridge with a classical atmosphere.

Finally, I still took the battery car to the parking lot. The advantage of this route is that it is easier to visit from top to bottom, saving energy. It was already 19:30 p.m. when I returned to the city near Kuanzhai Alley. It was dark late in Chengdu, but I was still a little tired after walking for a day. I had been to Kuanzhai Alley before, so I returned directly to my accommodation to find food.

At night in Chengdu, eating skewers on the roadside

When going to Chengdu, how can we not go to the fly restaurant to eat skewers! The most popular string restaurant in Chengdu is on the roadside.

The shop on Zhimin Road I visited was more and more lively at night, which is probably a portrayal of Sichuan. Merchants here generally open late. We arrive at the store at around 9 p.m., and we are still in line ~

It must be mentioned that the decoration style of their home really has the flavor of the old Chengdu fly restaurant. The paintings on the walls and banners all create a feeling of the 1950s and 1960s. Are you familiar with the slogan "Let some people get rich first"?

The main product is hot pot skewers. There are two options at the bottom of the pot. We chose a classic pot with lower spiciousness. When we served it and watched the red oil churning, I felt scared for a while, but I felt fine after trying it.

Everyone will mix it with a plate of original soup, mainly garlic and pepper. Those who don't like spicy food can also mix their own soy sauce and vinegar.

The strings in the two large freezers are self-made, and there are also colorful plates with tripe, crab meat sticks, layer tripe, etc., and you can take whatever you want. Just throw the food into the pot and cook it! It is strongly recommended to cook a large skewer together so that it can taste well and exceed addiction.

Personally, I prefer the beef series, which has tender and tender meat, and I also like Sichuan's most famous square bamboo shoots.

Drinks and drinks are also self-contained in the freezer. Of course, they are excellent with soy milk. There is also ice cream in the store. I am happy to eat the long-lost snowman and square brick.

The final settlement method is also very special. It is to weigh and count the lots separately. Each lot costs 50 cents. Three people actually ate 266 strings unknowingly, but it is still much cheaper and more cost-effective than eating in Xiamen!

When you come to Chengdu, you might as well have a snack at a fly restaurant like this on the roadside. It is authentic Chengdu!

[Day4, thousand-year-old ancient Great Sage Ci Temple, century-old spring sunset and fashionable Taikoi]

Ancient Great Sage Ci Temple, where the eminent monk Xuanzang was ordained

This is the second time I have visited the Great Sage Ci Temple. The last time I visited it was too late and most of the doors were closed. Unlike ordinary ancient temples, which are hidden in tranquility, she goes to the edge of Chunxi Road, the most prosperous in Chengdu, close to Taigu Li, which can be said to be separated by a wall and two worlds.

It is known as the "No. 1 Jungle of Sinian" and "No. 1 Giant Buddha Temple in Chengdu". It was once famous for having many famous murals and was one of the few famous temples in the ancient Western Shu region.

This is also the place where Xuanzang, an eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty, received his ordination. The Great Sage Ci Temple has been built and abolished several times, but its scale is not large today. But there is a different tranquility.

What is particularly interesting is that the design of some cartoon characters in the temple, the cute little monk, and the cartoon avatar of the twelve zodiac animals, all make people laugh.

This is a place where people can calm down.

Centenary Chunxi Road, luxurious Taikoo Li

When it comes to Chengdu, I have to mention Chunxi Road. There is a saying of "Centenary Chunxi". It has been nearly a hundred years since its founding in 1924.

There is another popular saying in Chengdu: Going to Chunxi Road to visit a beautiful woman can also show her prosperity and popularity.

Even during working hours on weekdays, the traffic here is very considerable. It brings together various specialty stores with many brands and many Chinese time-honored shopping malls. It is a preferred shopping destination for foreign tourists and local white-collar workers. It has both classical charm and modern business district characteristics.

In Chengdu IFS, which settled in 2014, the wall-climbing panda logo on the outer wall has become a check-in point on Chunxi Road and a must-miss online celebrity photo spot for Chengdu tourists.

Tai Koo Li, another high-end luxury goods center in Chengdu, is just off Chunxi Road. What is refreshing is that by retaining ancient streets and historical buildings, the western Sichuan-style blue tiepo roof and grille are equipped with a large-area floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall, forming a traditional and modern layout, creating an open and free urban space. In an increasingly crowded and high-developing urban center, Chengdu Ocean Taikoi retains a low-density open space. Sunshine and rain, birds and flowers, making various experiences direct and unique.

The ancient charm of history, the elegance of humanity, the glory of art and the shopping and leisure atmosphere of the streets blend here. There are first-line luxury brands and Michelin-starred restaurants, which are suitable for visiting Chunxi Road.

Thai hot pot can also be eaten in Chengdu

Chengdu was basically eating spicy food for a few days, and the stomach and chrysanthemums couldn't stand it. My parents suggested that we go to eat a Thai hot pot that suits Xiamen's taste, so we chose Jiyu.

Tai Koo Li Store is located on the edge of Tai Koo Li. I just came here after shopping around Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street in the morning. I had long heard about the king of queuing, so I arrived at the store before 11:30 in the morning. With melon seeds, poker, and sunshade, the first impression is good.

Of course, the signature is Dongyinkong Hot Pot. Add coconut green after serving, it will be even sweeter and has endless aftertaste!

I ordered the seafood set meal, which is actually very cost-effective. Including shrimp, crab, raw oysters, Arctic shellfish skirt, abalone, beef, etc., and the amazing thing is that the waiter will come over to help you rinse it!

What impressed me was that even the shrimp shells and crab tongs helped you peel them well. You really just need to sit and wait to eat! The quality of seafood is of high quality, not worse than the ones along the coast of Xiamen.

Thai restaurants must order curry, the signature shrimp curry, and the yellow curry has a strong flavor. I couldn't help but eat two more bowls of rice. It's a magic dish! Similarly, the waiter helps you peel the shrimp at the table. It's very considerate, and the shrimp peeling skills are simply first-class.

Their desserts are also worth mentioning. The first is the lava burst pearl cake. Gently lift the cellophane on the fence, and the chocolate sauce flows down like lava. A video must be recorded to show her uniqueness. The cake has a dense taste.

The small desserts are actually given away for free. Haagen Dazs ice cream, caramel pudding, and mango glutinous rice are all worth the money!

The service is good and the dishes are excellent. He is worthy of being the king of queuing. If you are tired of spicy food in Chengdu, you might as well change your taste and try Thai hot pot! Chengdu's last meal ended perfectly. For the first four days in Chengdu, I ate hot pot, skewers, barbecues, and Sichuan cuisine, which was super satisfying.

【The end】

Zhao Lei's song "Chengdu" made Chengdu popular all over the country. Labels such as leisure, comfort, slow life, leisure, enthusiasm, vitality, delicious food... have become labels that cannot be removed in Chengdu. You don't go to Sichuan when you are young, and you don't leave Sichuan when you are old. What is Chengdu like? Only when I came did I realize that I fell in love with this city.
