"Taoism has a way, and its goodness is as good as water. Therefore, there are two things to do in this life: worship Dujiangyan by the water and ask about Qingcheng Mountain." As long as you mention Dujiangyan or Qingcheng Mountain, you will inevitably think of Mr. Yu Qiuyu's words. It also allows more friends to have wireless daydream and yearning for this place.
Dujiangyan existed decades before Qin Shihuang ordered the construction of the Great Wall. Although it is far less grand than the Great Wall, Dujiangyan has been protecting the people of Chengdu downstream for more than 2000 years. Without Dujiangyan, there would be no beautiful and rich land of abundance; Qingcheng Mountain, a sacred place of Taoist Tianshi Taoism and one of the birthplaces of Taoism. It has been passed down in Taoism. The idea of "Tao Tao is natural, but the Tao is inactive" has also influenced us for thousands of years.
Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain, as treasures of the Chengdu People's Center, must be must-visit places when you come to Chengdu. Some ways to play Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain have also been recommended before. Today, I would like to recommend a different way to play Qingcheng Mountain. Play together with the front mountains and back mountains, and the front mountains "ask" and the back mountains "become immortal". Let's go!
"The world of Qingcheng is secluded". The whole mountain has green forests and evergreen all year round. The peaks are surrounded by mountains and shaped like a city, hence the name Qingcheng Mountain. Qingcheng Mountain is divided into front mountain and back mountain. There are always friends who ask whether it is better to go to the front mountain or back mountain. My suggestion is that if you don't like climbing mountains very much or go to the front mountain, if you still want to go there again. Feel the tranquility of the back mountain, then you can choose the route I recommended. When climbing the mountain, I asked, go to the back mountain to find a B & B with good environment and scenery, soak in a hot spring, and completely relax. You will have a wonderful feeling of having the entire Qingcheng Mountain!
Ask Qingcheng Mountain, my favorite Tianshi Cave!
The first time I went to Qingcheng Mountain was on a rainy day many years ago. I climbed the mountain silently with my head down the entire time. I couldn't remember what route I took and knew where the destination was. I didn't leave any impression on Qingcheng Mountain, which is "secluded in the world". After climbing half of the back mountain, I decided to revisit Qingcheng Qianshan. If a friend asks if I made a choice in the future, I will tell him that the Qianshan is actually more charming!
Recommended routes for Qianshan:
Self-driving or Qingcheng Mountain High-speed Railway Station-Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area-Sightseeing bus (10 yuan/person, more than 2 kilometers to the ticket office, uphill, about 25-30 minutes 'walk, it is recommended to take a sightseeing bus, at least one way)--Qianshanmen-(on the right) Yuecheng Lake--Cableway Lower Station Take the cableway--Cableway Lower Station--Ciyun Pavilion--Shangqing Palace--Laojun Pavilion (After Shangqing Palace, there is a road directly to the top of Laojun Pavilion. It was not open during the epidemic. You can follow the mountain road on the left side in front of Shangqing Palace and pass through the cliff stone carvings to Jiudaokuan)--Jiudaokuan--Chaoyang Cave-Toi Pen Slot--Tianshi Cave--Qianshanmen--Sightseeing bus or walking back
Compared with the back mountain, there are more historical relics such as Taoist temples, and less water. Maybe this is why everyone thinks the back mountain is more beautiful. After entering the mountain from the gate, you will soon reach Yuecheng Lake after climbing along the mountain road on the right. This seems to be the only visible water area in the Qianshan Scenic Area. During the reflection of the blue sky and green trees, it can be regarded as the most beautiful natural scenery of Qianshan.
You can take a boat (5 yuan/person) or follow the wooden plank road by the lake to the cableway on the opposite bank. It is recommended to take the cableway up the mountain. It can be seen from the route map that the landscape of the front mountain is mainly concentrated on the left side after entering the gate, and the road on the left side is relatively steep, making climbing the mountain more difficult (anyway, when I went down the mountain from the left side, I saw the painful expressions of the climbers on the way, and I was glad about my choice), while climbing the mountain on the right side will be more boring.
It takes a few minutes to reach the cableway station. When you look up, you will see Ciyun Pavilion. After passing through Ciyun Pavilion, you can reach Shangqing Palace, one of the most famous Taoist temples in Qingcheng Mountain.
The two peacocks in front of the Shangqing Palace are super cute and very cooperative with tourists to take photos. When they relax a little, the boss will say,"Get up, make money." They immediately stand up again, hold their heads high and start to exude charming charm. After laughing, I still feel a little sorry for them.
Shangqing Palace was built in the Jin Dynasty and later abolished. It was built again during the Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. During the Five Dynasties, Wang Yan, the former king of Shu, was rebuilt and destroyed by fire at the end of the Ming Dynasty. The existing temple was built between 1862 and 1874 (during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty). The three words "Shangqing Palace" on the plaque in front of the gate were written by Chiang Kai-shek in 1940. Unfortunately, due to the epidemic, the Shangqing Palace has not yet been opened to the public.
Because of the epidemic, we could not continue to climb the Laojun Pavilion, so we had to start downhill from the mountain road on the left side of Shangqing Palace. On the way, we could see the stone walls engraved with Huang Yunhu's inscription "The Fifth Famous Mountain in the World" and "The First Peak of Qingcheng".
Looking back at dusk on the way down the mountain, you can overlook the Laojun Pavilion on the top of the mountain. Laojun Pavilion was built in 1992 and took three years to complete. It has now become one of the landmark buildings of Qingcheng Mountain.
Continue down the mountain and come to Chaoyang Cave. It is located under the top of the first Hunyuan. There are two large and small caves that are naturally formed. The big cave can accommodate more than a hundred people. Because Chaoyang is the earliest, it is named "Chaoyang Cave". It is the cultivation site of Ning Zhenjun, the chief immortal in Qingcheng Mountain. Xu Beihong once sketched here, and Chiang Kai-shek avoided difficulties here.
Slowly, the downhill road became steeper and steeper. In some places, you had to use your hands and feet to move forward slowly. After walking through the Gulong Bridge plank road, you came to the pen-throwing trough. The trough was about 300 meters deep and about 20 meters wide. The two rocks were fractured to form a rift valley, and the scenery was extremely dangerous.
Continue down the mountain and arrive at the favorite place on Qingcheng Mountain-Tianshi Cave. Legend has it that Zhang Daoling once taught and preached here in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Therefore, it was built during the great cause of the Sui Dynasty. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces streams on one side. Ancient trees are towering and quiet in ancient times. The existing temple was built in the late Qing Dynasty and is grand in scale and finely carved.
Tianshi Cave under the towering ancient trees looks extremely quiet and tranquil, making people feel relaxed unconsciously. There is an ancient ginkgo tree in front of the cave door. It is about 50 meters high and 2.24 meters in diameter. It is said that it was planted by Tianshi Zhang. The age has reached more than 1800 years. When the ginkgo trees turn yellow at night in autumn, it will definitely be more beautiful.
When I didn't come to Qingcheng Qianshan, I always felt that it was not interesting to be Taoist temples. After I came, I realized that I was narrow-minded. The cultural heritage left to us by these thousands of years of history is worthy of our careful taste. If you only regard this place as an ordinary mountain with beautiful scenery, you can only appreciate one-tenth of its beauty, integrated into the ancient road, ancient trees, ancient poems, and ancient paintings... Only with the long-standing Taoist thoughts can we truly appreciate the essence of "asking questions". Therefore, if you haven't reached Qianshan, you will not be considered to have been to Qingcheng Mountain.
In the Tongqu Mountains, it is as comfortable as an immortal!
I still feel a little tired after coming down from Qingcheng Front Mountain. At this time, we need to relax and rest wholeheartedly. The best choice is naturally to find a unique B & B in the back mountain of Qingcheng to experience the beauty of Qingcheng Mountain in another way!
Transportation in the back mountain of Qingcheng is not very convenient, so it is best to drive there by car or contact the B & B to arrange chartered transportation. There are many good B & Bs in the back mountain of Qingcheng. I previously recommended Tongqu Yinquan. It was reached through Tai 'an Ancient Town after entering the Qingcheng Back Mountain Scenic Area. This year, Tongqu has a new "Tongqu Mountain View". You can go up the mountain from the other side of the back mountain of Qingcheng. You don't need to buy tickets for the back mountain. Moreover, this place is quieter and the view is wider. Surrounded by mountains, it's a bit like occupying the mountain as king. Hahaha, no, it's a feeling of a fairyland to yourself. You can also overlook the Laojun Pavilion in front of the mountain, which completely gives the illusion of having the entire Qingcheng Mountain.
Tongqu Mountain is built according to the mountain terrain. There are several small white and blue buildings scattered in a scattered manner. The mountains behind the houses are full of tall and large ginkgo and walnuts. Traveling along the wooden trails, you will often encounter little squirrels who come to feed for food.
I like the mountain room very much. It is more design than Yinquan, especially this room with a super invincible large terrace. It is enough for a small party here. When I push the door out of the room, I can see a panoramic view of Qingcheng Mountain. The mountains are surrounded by undulating peaks and lush trees. In the early morning, the mountains are surrounded by clouds. Sitting here and looking into the distance, I feel suddenly relieved.
Every room has a soaking pool or bathtub, especially the oversized landscape soaking pool in the loft room type, which can accommodate 3-4 people to soak in the water. Every room in the mountain area is equipped with a bathtub. In front of the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, you can soak while enjoying the bath. Enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window, or directly choose a room where you can soak in the hot springs, use real mountain spring water to wash off your fatigue, enjoy the gentle breeze between the mountains, and breathe the fresh air filled with negative oxygen ions. It feels like a god.
When I saw the dinner prepared by Shanjing for us, I suddenly felt that the feeling of "immortal" could be better. Food was beyond the reach of gods. There are a wide variety of meals in Shanjing, including Chinese food and barbecues. Oh, and home-brewed beer. It is simply not too thoughtful. While "becoming immortal", it can also satisfy mortal people's food desires.
This route not only feels the cultural history of the front mountain, but also enjoys the secluded secret land of the back mountain. The integration of the two is the true "Qingcheng World Serenity". Do you like such a different way to play?
